It appears that this restaurant is in need of a makeover. Granted, it's Covid. But the Covid protocol had some confusion and one of us was already in the buffet line when a woman with no English started gesturing for a card. A local at the next table informed me that she needed our vaccine proof. There weren't many people there but the buffet looked picked over or under-stocked. The food wasn't very inviting or tasty. Usually I would have seconds but didn't bother. Sad because it looks like a place that may have formerly done a bustling business.

Best buffet I've had in a long time. Fresh, delicious food. We even showed up at 8pm not realizing their buffet shuts down then (even though the restaurant is open until 10pm). They still welcomed us in and made some fresh food for our family. Wow!

The buffet was not very good, the food was cold and most of the dishes were half filled, and we were the first ones there. None of the items were labeled, there are people with dietary restrictions, it's good to know what's in your food.

Used to be our favourite place to order chinese food from. Disappointed tonight-chicken fried rice was bland, no veggies in it or flavour. Egg rolls had a chewy tough wrap and watery inside. Lemon chicken was burned but doughy inside. Sauce was lemon dish soap. Fortune cookies were good though. Threw half our plates out. Never again.

To start off the place looked nice but the floors were super dirty looking.. old carpet but they did up everything else? Anyways I ate here and the food was little to non for pick and looked like left overs. Went home and felt like I had the flu. It only lasted 48hrs so pretty sure I had food poisoning.

Worst Chinese I have ever ate ,didn't even eat it all. Coming from Calgary to Winnipeg got hungry so got a delivery as I'm a driver and couldn't get my tractor trailer to restaurant. I called a hr ahead of time to get delivered when I arrive. Gave them a exact time off my Garmin nav system. Was 16 mins late. I ordered the Ruby Combo but upgrade the fried rice to chow mein and spring rolls to egg roll sweet n sour chicken balls , special veggies n shrimp. So small didn't get the sweet n sour sauce for my chicken balls no fork or sticks to eat food. Waste of 23$ never again My dog wouldn't even eat it

I've eaten here once it wasn't good at all but I'm doing a review for my boyfriend. He has been going to Jade Gardens since the day it was opened and the food use to be very good but through out the years the food has been getting worse, not to long ago he was there for the buffet he seen them bring out sushi so he went straight for the sushi and grabbed 3 pieces and the owner came up to him and said, "Woah woah woah save some for other customer" that's when he looked at her and said excuse me i thought i paid for a buffet and walked away.

Got chicken ball and veg and rice and the chicken ball looked cooked but batter was inside, if they used raw chicken which I really do not think so it could cause many food poisoning, place has gone hill since new mgmt, you dont get a pop nemore and no.veggies in the rice.... kwangtons is more expensive but I am willing too spend a couple more bucks for more quality in food....

December 31, 2020, I understand that the restaurant would be busy on this night but a two and one half hour wait for our food delivery is beyond acceptable. Add to that there was no sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour chicken balls. Food was cold to luke warm. I will never order from this restaurant again.

Jade Garden has changed a lot from our previous visits. Their service is spot on, with very friendly staff. The young lady Jann taking orders is always polite and provide friendly service every time we visit. This time we visited, we noticed they have an updated menu. We tried their chicken wings, Montreal ribs, and chicken balls and it’s very delicious. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, their BBQ Pork and Low Mein are also delicious and a must try. Can’t find the same anywhere else. My wife loved their Crab rangoons, it was just fulfilling. Apparently, they also have roast crispy BBQ duck, BBQ ribs in racks and lamb chop pot if you pre-order it a day or two in advance. Unfortunately, like many restaurants during covid, they don’t have buffet opened yet. Otherwise, the buffet will go good with their newly relaxing atmosphere as well. All in all, we recommend Jade Garden for getting Authentic Chinese food and the experiences were just spot on!

I love oriental food. It’s my favourite actually..... BUT This wasn’t anything I haven’t had before. I likely won’t return. There is more fresh and better buffets In Moose Jaw. I came I saw and I left. It’s probably good for families with small children as the food is bland and it doesn’t seem to be very busy. I went during supper hours with friends. Don’t love it but don’t hate it either.
