We booked Foreground Coffee Co. for our morning wedding and could not have been more pleased with the good quality coffee and service. After our 10am ceremony, a late morning coffee seemed to be exactly what everyone needed to delve completely into the ensuing festivities. The atmosphere that Foreground helped to foster was exactly what we imagined as whatever tensions or nerves that were present on that day rose away with the steam from their latte, and the conversations and laughter were as warm as my mocha. It became quickly evident that this is a passion of theirs. Their own ability to meet all of our expectations (and exceed them), despite our own pickiness concerning quality made coffee, was a wonderful bonus after all the other bases were covered of which I'm happy to explicate here: (1) The owners are delightful to deal with even amidst the business of wedding planning. They are easy-going and quick to adapt to the difficulties or requests of their clients. I should also mention that they are marvellous hosts of conversation who do very well in entertaining the guests and helping to create the atmosphere you're wishing for. (2) They are very good at what they do. It takes but one sip to realize that the beans they use (Rosso) are high quality and well thought out. Moreover, they have invested in top quality equipment and are well trained in the art of handcrafted espresso based drinks. They are efficient as a team and keep the line short despite the time and care that goes into each cup. Kathryn's beautiful latte art is a fun bonus :) (3) Their presentation is professional and sleek. I have an eye for these things, and believe that experiences are formed through every avenue -- not least the eye. I was very pleased with their station and how clean and professional it looked. (4) They are exceptionally affordable. Rest assured that for this quality of coffee service, you will not find a better price. Beyond this, they offered a variety of service packages to us, and were even open to other contract options. (5) Their service is very flexible. They can be anywhere and work with anything. They only require 2 plug-ins, and even then, I have heard that they have worked around that difficulty in certain contexts. All this said, Foreground Coffee Company comes at our highest recommendation for your wedding or event; you will not be disappointed.
