I wish I could eat lunch here every day; their selection of vegetarian food is incredible! I absolutely love the seitan "chicken" salad wrap... honestly the best wrap in town. Give it a try - you'll be surprised by the sheer variety of lunch items, from a hot buffet to a salad bar, wraps, sandwiches and delicious savoury pastry/snack items at the back. They also have a huge selection of cold beverages available - I'd say the best in the neighbourhood.

Googled 'best bagels in montreal' and this came up as a local place. Walked 1km to get there and glad I did. Jalapeno bagel was the best bagel I've ever had in my life. Ladies in the back we're quite speedy with the order and the other lady at the cash had such a great energy I wish I lived here and had the chance to come back more often.

Amazing bagels. I wish we had ordered more. I had an egg sandwich on a multigrain which was delicious. My fiance had a jalapeno cheddar. Very delicious, but no joke on the jalapeno, it was firey. Super good fuit smoothes to cool your toung off. Great staff. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for bagels and also salads, give this place a try. They've also got an impressive variety of vegetarian options. Try out the veggie chicken salad with a bagel, it's sooo good!

We were pleasantly surprised and even shocked by all the choices at this restaurant. It isn't just bagels! They have tons of choices and a little of everything. Many vegetarian and some vegan options as well. Burritos, quesadillas, Indian food, sandwiches, salads cofees and nespresso, snacks, savory and fruity pastries and more! The selection is crazy! They even have bulk foods like almonds and cashews. It's definitely worth going to! Priced are reasonable and everything we have tried has been good. It's also very clean!

If you're a vegetarian or vegan or just enjoy really yummy food with a lot of vegetables and Alternate proteins than meat you're probably going to love this place because it's one of Montreal's best kept secrets straight up. You can pay by the weight and have a plate of food for lunch which is fantastic and has all kinds of delicious flavours from coconut curry tofu 2 mango butter chicken made with a tofu protein From avocado and spinach smoothies to Pumpernickel Bagels and homemade lemonade slushies Bagels on Greene pretty much has you locked down for some very tasty treats freshly made.

I love the bagels here just don't go at the end of the day, they have no stock, and stop making bagels. I'm also torn on this review because the samosa was gross, it was heated and not crunchy. I never had a bad samosa ever. Was very disappointed. Still gets a high rating because i love the variety and taste of their bagels... If they have stock. Lol.

Bait and switch. Soon after it opened, I used to frequent the place to buy whole wheat and raisin bagels. But the last time I went and asked for 6 of them. I paid and left ; neverchecking what they gave me,u the next afternoon. That's when I realized that only two were whole wheat/raisin; the others were sesame bagels. That is what I call a bait and switch. Otherwise known as a rip-off. I've never been back.

I ordered four (4) items yesterday. I specified that I wanted lightly baked bagels (came burnt on one side); non-spicy chicken rolls (spicy appeared), non-veg butter chicken (uh huh, here came veggie) & 4 fresh Gingerbread cookies (hard as rocks). Only the candy bar & Homemade challah rolls were acceptable. At a tally of $33.24, I expected much fresher quality & service. The cashier was very sweet though. Order taken Friday, May 7, 2021.

The fresh bagels are great. I had the salmon breakfast bagel and it was very good. Coffee is Van Houtte, so not very good... Would recommend bagels as either eat in our take out. Might not be as famous as other places but they do make the bagel onsite in stone oven.

Decent coffee, good bagels, staff is alright, most of them don't speak either English or French well but get around. Biggest downfall are the pre-made products, such as bottled water, which are just ridiculously over priced, other then that, spent 2 months buying a minimum of 2 coffees a day there without an issue. Try the ''mexican'' bowls or what ever they call it, at the self served desk, really good.

Best bagels in town, as far as I’m concerned. While many bagel shops are racing to the bottom to create the lightest bagel possible, Bagels on Greene have remained loyal to the tradition offering full size / full weight bagels. The owner and family are always trying to improve the Bagel buying experience. The deli is well organized and Covid compliant beyond recommended practices. Their Bagel loyalty program is professional and efficient. Success is not an accident for Bagels on Greene. I look forward to every visit.

I gave this place one star and no review a few months ago because my bagel sandwich was burnt/inedible and they forgot 3 of the items I paid for. Now I'll write a review. I bought bagel sandwich again this morning and my poppy bagel was completely burnt. I don't understand how you blacken a bagel and then still use it to make a sandwich. It was hard and inedible, I had to throw it out. I bought a bagel sandwich again last week and my bacon was missing and there was no cheese and I ordered it with bacon and cheese. I kept giving this place a shot because I really love the bagels and food :( I most likely won't be back.

Fantastic food - very authentic Indian cuisine. Excellent selection of bagels and drinks. 4/5 stars for 2 reasons: coffee is meh... And it's a bit costly - but it's Westmount and they have Westmount rent to pay. Put in an Italian coffee machine and I'd give it 5/5 stars.

They have got to keep this delivery service going, even once everything gets back to "normal". I placed my order at 11:00 a.m. and by 1:30, i had it! Super well packed in a sturdy box. I mixed up cooked meals with deserts and even cheese and everything was super well packaged and identified and right now, I am having the potatoes and cauliflowers and they are delicious!!! Only one issue, I wanted to tip the driver, but did not want to give him money directly and there does not appear to be a place where you can indicate a tip, on the website. Also, its a $4.00 delivery charge - AMAZING!

The bagels are great, but the place could do with some reorganizing. Lining up is awkward and everyone is in everyone else's way, and the till area is an afterthought. So the bagels are good, but the place is a mess.

Their sandwiches are great, usually have them on bagels, hot buffet looks good, but anything that is meant to be warm but is behind a glass (empanadas, etc.) will get reheated in microwave and lose the crispiness.

This is a popular bakery and coffee shop. The specialty is freshly-baked bagels and pastries. They also have fresh-squeezed juices, sandwiches, and Indian or Mexican dishes. You choose your food and pay before taking a seat (cafetetia-style)!

We were in town for a week and were looking for a good bagel shop and Bagels on Greene did not disappoint! Amazing taste and great service. We liked it so much that we grabbed a dozen bagels to bring home with us. When we're back in Montreal we will definitely be back!

Best value for your food, really fresh food, and very friendly staff. If you do have a chance to dine in, their portions are very generous. Even with a saturated market for bagels in Montreal, Bagels on Greene still manages to have their own twist on their bagels. Their cheese bagels are ingenious, and even their regular bagels are also delicious. This is my go-to spot when I'm in the neighbourhood!

This place is more of a cafeteria than anything else. The food is good but overpriced (a generic sandwich wrap will cost you $7.99). The staff behind the counter are lovely, the owners are something else. The woman at the cash register served a customer before me while on the phone without acknowledging her presence but happily taking her money. When I got to the cash I was overcharged. According to their website: " [they] are a family run business who strives to provide each and every customer with an experience they can’t find anywhere else" Though I didn't get a sense a family, I'm hoping to not find that kind of experience anywhere else. I would've given a third star if the food was great. As it was only okay, I'm leaving it at two stars.

Their sandwiches are adequate — I'll give them that — but I always regret my decision to go there. It's hard to get the order right, even for something simple. And forget about the coffee: I've been there tens of times over the past few years, and it's always horrible. Go to Starbucks, Second Cup or Brioche Dorée beforehand.

Great place which offers a variety of foods. Before 9 am stop by and have a coffee and bagel for under $3. For lunch they have a selection of homemade curries, soups, and finger foods, where you can fill up your dish and they will charge you by weight. They also offer a variety of homemade sandwiches and salads, as well as many more things too numerous to list here!

I work around Bagels on Greene and whenever I'm on lunch I getso excited come to in. They have so many options from bagels to Indian to Mexican to and so many more things. My personal favourite are their Mexican bowls or the classic bagel lox and cream cheese.

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while and was very disappointed. When we first entered I asked for clarification regarding their sandwich combo options. They were short and dismissive and said "you can pick any sandwich". I was precisely trying to understand what kind of sandwich options they had! We then ordered three sandwiches with eggs, ham and cheese. They made a mistake in our order and none of the sandwiches had egg in it. When I told them, instead of apologizing and offering to make new sandwiches, they denied their mistake and said I never ordered the sandwiches with eggs. My friend and husband both clearly heard me ordering with egg. By then, my husband had already paid for sandwiches with egg, and all they agreed to do was to fry some eggs and give them on the side. So in summary, they made a mistake on all 3 sandwiches, we never ended up getting what we ordered and just got some fried egg on the side. Otherwise, the food quality was mediocre, something I could have made at home in 30 seconds. Literally a croissant, with a slice of cheese and ham. No greens, no sauce, not grilled, nothing else! Maybe all those things were add-on options, but there was no way of knowing since they clearly were not bothered to explain their menu options beyond "any sandwich". The vibe was similar to a high school cafeteria. Very disappointing. Edit: The owner/manager was very responsive and courteous in responding to my concerns. We tried two other sandwiches from them (a club sandwich and a bagel BLT with egg sandwich). Both were delivered on time, fresh, warm and delicious. Very much appreciated

Bagels here are top notch, but customer service is painfully disappointing. Visited on Sunday February 7th at around 11am, to order some bagels to go, as well as sandwiches for the road. Since it offers wide variety of bagels, naturally wanted to try each flavour. When I ordered "one of each" the lady serving the bagels let out a big sigh and looked at me with annoyance before turning away from me immediately that I couldn't even complete my order. When I was able to ask for additional sandwiches to complete my order, she got angry and asked why I didn't tell her that in the first place. I don't understand why a person working in the service industry would behave in such a way, especially during such difficult times of the pandemic, while I was trying to support local business and enjoy some good bagels. Utterly disappointed by the service here that I find the need to consider finding a new go-to bagel shop in town.

We came into Westmount from out of town with our 9 month old daughter. The owners were very nice and accommodating, they set up a high chair so that we could eat comfortably with our daughter. This spot has a large variety of vegetarian food, and lots of gluten free options. The food was delicious! Casual atmosphere, and great spot for families.

I live nearby Bagels on Greene and find myself there on a weekly basis. They have something for everybody - meat-lovers, vegetarians, vegans, gluten intolerant - you name it. They have delicious Indian food that changes from day-to-day. They have sandwiches, wraps, samosas, knish (spinach is my favourite), and empanadas. During the summer I hit up their salad bar to build my own or choose from their interesting salad counter. If it's winter, sometimes I walk over to pick up a homemade soup. Post-workout or early morning errands call for one of their smoothies. If I have a sweet craving - I pick up one of their pastries or some TCBY. I adore this place. Besides visiting Bagels on Greene on my personal time, I also order from them for staff caterings at our office. We order for 200 people and Bagels on Greene NEVER disappoints.

Très bien! We found this spot by googling bagels near our Air B&B because we had heard Montreal has good bagels. They were delicious!! And each bagel came with these scrumptious little bagel crisps as a side which we got a bag for so they could be a snack for later :) plus it was very affordable. 3 bagels (1 with cream cheese, 1 with egg and cheese, and 1 with lox) plus a coffee for around $20 (Canadian dollars) Wish we hadn’t waited until our last day to come here.
