Great chips and salsa! Their chips are unique, I really enjoy them -- they are sprinkled with some kind of taco seasoning. The building is clean and well decorated. Their food is good, fresh, and homemade, I've had the quesadilla appetizer and chicken enchiladas. Their food isn't very spicy, which is how I like it ,-)

The best nachos ever!! Prices are pretty good considering the size of plate, very good Mexican/Californian choices of foods! They're alcoholic beverages are more on the expensive side but their cocktails are amazing! The deserts are good sizes and priced well! The churros are amazing! 100% recommend!

I just love Mexican food, and even better it's both Mexican and Californian cuisine which is awesome. This is a really good restaurant that offers good varieties of dishes, fair prices, great staff and just a really lovely environment with a lot of the Mexican culture. 3 out of 5 is more about service and cleanliness. If those improved, definitely a 4 out of 5 easily. Food was very good. Maybe some Mexican music to improve the ambiance. Update. After two more visits, I now think it does warrant a 4 out of 5, but there is still room for improvement and maybe a price reduction on some drinks. But it's a comfy place after work

Although the food was good, the service was terrible. Even though there were multiple workers at the front desk, it took them 5 minutes to even acknowledge our presence and even longer to seat us. They never came to check up on us during our meal and it was impossible to flag down a waiter. We had no forks to eat with and needed refills on our drinks. They didn't even ask us how our meal was at the end. Although the food was good, this meal left me questioning if people even see me.

Let's start with the good points: The dishes we had were all realy tasty and fresh. Also the drinks I had were great. The prices are reasonable, especially for a restaurant at the Main Street. So I would give five Stars for the dishes and prices. There were a few downsides tough. It took longer than usual for our dishes to arrive (even if freshly cooked) and the starter arrived before the Drinks. As we had enough time and there was free W-Lan, we didn't care to much about this, but still, i would only give 3 stars for that aspect. Our waiter was very friendly, but unfortunately, he misunderstood the order of my Girlfriend and he forgot one of her orders. He apologized for that in a very friendly way. Therefore, I would give 4 Stars for service. With 5 Stars for prices and dishes, 3 for waiting time and 4 for the service, I end up at a 4 Star general rating.

We ordered veggie and chicken nachos and a few drinks. The nachos were good, I did miss having refried beans on them though. I shared the veggie nachos with a friend and fully intended to order something else later, but the portion size was so large, I didn't have to. The mango daiquiri was maybe a little light on the alcohol but EXTREMELY yummy. The person who was taking care of us was exceptionally good - they put up with all of our indecisiveness, was very helpful, very polite, efficient, and quick. But there was this other lady - she splashed water on my friend's face when she was refilling the glasses (no apologies offered) and ignored our request for an extra plate. Not sure what that was about. The ambience is lovely - comfy seating, great lighting. I'm definitely heading back to try more of the menu.

I have been to Mexis many times, to say that I was in disbelief would be an understatement. We arrived at 9pm and the waitress’s seemed unhappy to great us as they were probably tired and they closed in an hour. We ordered two full price entrees and weren’t offered the complimentary chips/salsa. This establishment needs to be more professional and uphold the company standards. Just because your tired and lazy doesn’t give you a free pass to not do your job. ( they also replied and said they didn’t have time in the hour to bring the complimentary chips but were still serving alcohol and food after close.) DO BETTER.

Great food and great service from the waiters/waitresses I’ll give them that, but after the last experience I’ll never be eating there again. I warned them as soon as we got there that I was bringing a rowdy crowd and I even asked if we could sit on the patio so we wouldn’t disturb any of the other customers. I realized it was a bad idea after the old bald guy decided he was going to hover over our table the entire time we ate our food. I told him we were expecting 2 more guests but he refused to let them join us. We understood because of the covid-19 restrictions so they were forced to stand on the side of the road. I’d suppose he didn’t like that because he continued to harass us pressuring them to leave. It got to the point where he got in my 15 year old brothers face screaming at him and he called the cops. I don’t usually post things like this, but it wasn’t the first poor experience i’ve had with this guy and this isn’t even part of what happened the last time I was there.

Went here for supper last night. It is certainly a busy spot. Definitely recommend making a reservation. The chips and salsa were great (chips were heated). We both ordered 1/4 pound chicken fajitas. The sides/toppings platters were pretty big. The rice and bean scoops were a little strange but tasted ok. My wife got the loaded fries instead of the beans and rice - great choice. A bit extra but worth it. When the fajita platters came out, they were steaming away - great start. There is a lot of stuff on them for sure (4-5 shells worth). The only thing I thought a bit off was the vegetables on the hot platters had literally no seasoning on them - literally raw onions, etc tossed onto the platters and then steamed to cook as they went to the table. Mind you it was hot enough to char some them on the bottom, but still no flavour. Made the meal a bit of a let down but still was able to liven it up with hot sauce. The holder for the tortilla shells was also very good - enough shells and kept them warm for the meal. My wife's Margherita was delicious ????????????. Thanks.

The workers are almost always extremely friendly & for the most part good at keeping an eye out to make sure everything is okay. I am a huge fan of Mexican food and this place delivers for a pretty good price. The kid's eat free on Sunday always makes this a place on our list if we eat out over the weekend. I recommend Clyde's Burrito, with rice & beans mixed; you will be so full and so satisfied.

Food was delicious, I've never been to Moncton before and if all the restaurants are like this I might have to move here. Our server was Justin, and he was just outstanding. He was there with the water before we even knew we needed more and was great with our nephew. Their specials are also incredible, as we were there on a Sunday our nephew ate for free and got a free dessert. I'm thinking about coming back here again for dinner tonight.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I am so impressed with the food and service at Mexi's. Everything was also reasonably priced. Our server Justin G was awesome! So friendly and always around to make sure our drinks and tortilla chip bowl were full. The restaurant was clean, classy and had fun decor/murals. Best churros I've ever had and only $5 for 4! Run, don't walk!

We decided to stop by for a quick bite to eat a few weeks ago and found a great place to have a great meal. We ordered the steak tacos and a platter of nachos with a mixed drink cocktail. The server brought out a plate of chips and salsa to start us off which were very tasty. The nachos were pretty okay, but the steak tacos. Yo. Dumb good. Seriously. These tacos were so good. Like the steak with the avocado cream sauce. It's kind of unfortunate that 2 tacos are $18 but they're borderline worth the price. We also got a cheesecake and churros for dessert. Again, the cheesecake was a bit above average but these churros, totally coated in cinnamon and plenty of dulce de leche to dip them in. We decided to go back the next time we were in Moncton and order one of the fish, chicken, and steak tacos again. The fish weren't as good as the steak but still pretty tasty. The chicken tacos were kind of tasteless and not that much excitement, but again the steak tacos were great. Overall the place is a 4 but the steak tacos are a 5. Great atmosphere, with pretty great food, if just a bit too expensive. Maybe not a weekly place to go, but worthy of a repeat visit.

It was a Sunday and we were unaware that kids eat free. Our server did not bother to mention it. We were on a little vacation so we decided to share meals with our kids rather than order food for them to reduce costs. It would have been nice to know that they could have each had a meal for free.

This is my husband & I's favourite restaurant we have gone on many occasions. Overall, the staff is great, the food is good, and the prices are okay. Did our wedding rehearsal dinner here. I would not recommend this venue if you want to try and talk to the people at the end of the table (pary of 14) way to loud. Great for a small group!!! The last time we visited the prices seem to have gone up making the menu a lot less appealing. For two to eat you will be spending around $40.

Had such a great time here! The food was delicious (chicken wing nachos and tacos) but what made this place five stars was Ryan, our waiter. He was so good at his job that even though he had a good amount of patron's he still made us feel like we were the only person there.
