My husband and I used Yorkshire Pudding for our wedding recently and we are still getting rave reviews and compliments from our guests about how great the food was! The entire process from beginning to end showed us how attentive they were. Unlike other caterers who simply emailed a standard menu to choose from, the team at Yorkshire instead called and took the time to get to know us, the vision we had for our wedding and helped us plan a meal that would fit into that vision. They found out what my family's background was and took the initiative to incorporate some of the traditional foods (a few of my favourites!) into the menu as well and they did it all within our budget. We started with mixed appetizers, then had a family style (shared plates) meal, ended with dessert (we had two cakes because we couldn't choose between flavours - so we had a red velvet cake and chocolate cake) and then for late night snack had grilled cheese. For kids we had a separate kids menu and they also accommodated our vegetarian and gluten free guests. The wedding itself started about 30 min late, but the meal still came out hot and delicious! The team overall was a such pleasure to work with the whole way through and made it all very easy for us. Sincere thanks to everyone there who helped make our wedding day so great! If ever the occasion rises, we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The reviews are true! The quality and taste of the food was great - every guest was pleased, the price is fair and the service is amazing. What I was even happier about was that Yorkshire Pudding Catering will do custom cakes as well (the french orange cake with cream cheese buttercream was to die for). It really was a one stop shop and made planning my event so easy! I would recommend this catering company to anyone.

Last minute cake and macaron order and it was perfect. With only 5 days till a celebration for my wife, I realized I forgot to order the cake. So using Google images the first beautiful cake to pop up was from Yorkshite Pudding Inc. The manager Lee and the chef worked their magic presenting me with a 2 tier white cake with gold drizzle dripping down the cake, roses on top, and gold flaked macarons perfectly placed around the cake. A side tray of 3 dozen white macarons with more gold flakes, they were freshly made, so soft, and tasted like a perfect marshmallow in your mouth. Thank you so much so making my celebration perfect. I had a first communion party two weeks ago and had it catered by Yorkshire pudding. The delivery was actually early which really helped. Not only was the food beautiful but it was delicious. I had ordered sandwiches, salads, 2 cakes, fruit tray and it was devoured. The ingredients were high quality and tasty. I cannot recommend this place enough. Even the ordering was smooth and efficient with helpful suggestions. The cakes were a huge hit. I wish I had ordered a larger one to freeze for later. 5 stars! I would order again in a minute.

I used YP Catering for my son’s 1st Birthday which consisted of a lunch and cake for 11 adults. Everyone raved about the food! I personally thought the food was fantastic (which btw apparently I have high standards for food..according to my husband haha), beautifully presented, well portioned and well priced. The design of the cake turned out better than the picture I had sent to them to replicate and it tasted sooo good - I’m usually not a fan of designer cakes but I’d order one from them again in a heartbeat. My experience with them from beginning to end (inquiring to ordering to delivery) was exceptional as well!! I’m looking forward to using them again and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer.

I had an intimate 25-person backyard wedding catered by YP. The day was more beautiful than I could even hope for. I wish that every bride has a Lee. He was the glue holding everything together. He was incredibly helpful and sweet, despite our last-minute-ness and constant changes. The day of was absolutely seamless, from set-up to cleaning and we did not have to worry in the slightest because Lee was there. Food was of course delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Yorkshire Pudding provided a seamless catering service for a retirement party I recently held for around 30 people. Lee was very communicative and detail-focused to ensure everything was organized and lined up leading to the day of the event. The chef and serving staff were friendly, courteous, attentive, tidy and helpful. The food options were excellent, well-presented, and prepared on a good schedule for the day. Overall an excellent experience I would recommend to anyone looking for catering for events of all sizes.

We had such a wonderful experience using Yorkshire Pudding to cater our 25-person, backyard wedding. The customer service was excellent - Ashley coordinated our order and took the time to answer my MANY questions and tweaked our menu until it fit our needs. Delivery was on time and the food was delicious!! I think the biggest hit was probably the sweet & yukon potato gratin with gruyere - so good. We opted for cupcakes instead of a wedding cake, and they were amazing! I would definitely use YP Catering again in the future.

Had the pleasure of ordering my wedding cake with Yorkshire Pudding. Lee, who coordinated my order was responsive, friendly, and always made sure everything was going according to plans - exactly what a bride-to-be needed. I can't say anymore how great working with Lee was. The whole YP team was professional, and passionate about their work. You can tell that from their food - which in my case was my wedding cake. It was beautiful, delicious, and precisely how I wanted it to be for my wedding. Tess who delivered my cake also plated the cake on my cake stand, garnished it to perfection. It was peaceful and calming to see her work her magic the morning of my wedding. TLDR: I would recommend YP to anyone without a heartbeat. Just go for it!

Me and my whole family enjoyed all the hors d'oeuvres. The arrival time as I had requested. The appetizers looked exactly like the pictures. Each container had proper heating instructions and the sauces were well marked to be paired and served with the respective appetizers. The French Orange birthday cake looked great and was delicious - very dense and flavorful. All 5 stars - Service, punctuality, presentation and taste. When there was an issue with the rental delivery company YPC quickly and professionally dealt with the issue on our behalf even though it was a third party contracted company. I appreciated their responsible, customer service driven attitude throughout the process. They handled everything that was required for a seamless food and bartending experience.

We hired Yorkshire Pudding to cater our son’s first birthday party on August 31st 2018. Before we hired them we did our research and requested pricing from 5 or 6 reputable catering companies in Toronto. Price was a big factor in our decision but we also gauged the interest from the first point of contact from each of the companies. Yorkshire Pudding scored on both fronts. Their pricing is reasonable, and Ashley, who responded to my inquiry and communicated with me throughout the process, was very lovely to work with. She was prompt, detailed, patient, showed great interest in our event despite it being a smaller event for 40 people, made valuable suggestions and worked hard to make our party a great success. Her outline for our event was very detailed and precise, and was constantly updated throughout the few months of our planning. On the day of the party, her staff arrived on time (WE were the ones late because of building elevator issue). Despite us being late, they did not just sit around doing nothing, they started setting up. They were all kind, thoughtful, and proactive. They offered to help arrange the furniture and the flowers and party decors I brought (which I believe is outside of their scope of services but they were happy to do it). The ice machine in the kitchen did not work, which was an unpleasant surprise, and the bartender offered to go get ice at the convenience store downstairs. He also offered my husband some help with unloading the drinks from our car. Later on that evening, he asked what time I want the candles to be lit, and all of a sudden they were done! Another staff member assisted my mother-in-law heat up some food for the birthday boy. At the end of the event they offered to help us pack up all the flowers and decorations, and even found us extra boxes to pack our stuff in. I did not think a catering company would/could go so far but these guys obviously do! I have read all the reviews on Yorkshire Pudding out there and I know they have good reputation but even with a high expectation to begin with, they still blew us away. For food, we ordered a good selection of hors d’oeuvres, a tasting plate, a taco station, and a sweet table with cupcake tower and a few other desserts. All of them received raving reviews from the guests. The roast pork bao and the taco station were especially big hits. My husband comes from a latino family and they are very discerning when it comes to tacos. Needless to say they loved the tacos and even went back for a third and fourth tacos. The French orange and chocolate cupcakes were to die for! All in all Yorkshire Pudding really exceeded our expectations in every way. The food and service were both top-notch. The staff members were discreet but they made sure everyone was looked after. Stefan the bartender would go around the room to offer guests refills on wine. Other guests had commented that he remembered their drinks. As I had to circulate and entertained guests away from the bar, several times he approached me to ask if I wanted any drinks. I did not have to go to the bar even once! We have done parties large and small but we usually cook and serve the food ourselves, and I have often wondered in the past if it was worth it to hire a catering company. I cannot swear this for every single caterer out there, but Yorkshire Pudding is definitely worth every penny!

Highly recommend this company. This is the second family event that we have had Yorkshire Pudding cater. The first was my nieces rehearsal dinner for forty people last year. We had three staff including a chef, who arrived, set up, served, cleaned up and when they left not only was everyone in awe of the amazing food, but you could not tell that we had just had a dinner party for forty people! The second event was a baby shower/luncheon for twenty-five. We did not have serving staff at this event. The food was delivered on time, ready to serve, and again the food was excellent. I would not hesitate to use this company again or to recommend them to others. Well done Lee and Yorkshire Pudding. Look forward to working with you again.

I work for MEC and hired Yorkshire Pudding for a 3-day event at Ontario Place. They provided absolutely outstanding service. I debated between several catering companies and they consistently stood out due to their incredible communication, professionalism, and willingness to meet our needs. We had some unusual situations (minimal power and no kitchen) and they took everything on with a mindset of everything being possible. In the future, I will hands down choose to work with Yorkshire Pudding again. They made my job so much easier and their staff were completely friendly and beyond accommodating and one of our main pieces of feedback from attendees was how much they loved the food (it's incredible)! Without a doubt, the best catering company I have ever worked with and will definitely re-hire.
