The customer service is extremely poor. We have used Puffin catering for quite some time and although their food is fairly good, the customer service really sucks. We have spent tens of thousands on corporate catering from this company and yet when it comes to them screwing up a small order, Sona (the owner I presume) refuses to acknowledge it. He would rather lose a long-time customer than admit his mistake (forgetting that we, among his other customers, help to keep him in business). He sent the wrong order but had the nerve to invoice us for two fruit platters (we only ordered one - his mistake for misreading the order). They also didn't deliver the yogurt fruit CUPS that we ordered and instead sent us a BOWL of fruit salad. As well, they sent us a single serving of eggs, bacon, and a bagel - didn't order this either. When I emailed my concerns to him he completely ignored my points and didn't address any of them (???) he just sent a few emails back with stupid remarks like "I don't understand the confusion" etc. Perhaps there would not have been any confusion if he had actually read the order properly. He did call to discuss but actually kept interrupting me and wouldn't let me finish a sentence. Unbelievably stubborn! Maybe this is acceptable where he comes from but it's not acceptable where I come from. Horrible way to treat a client especially if you as a service provider are in the wrong. He was so ignorant, I ended up hanging up on him (which is something I never do). I would not recommend this catering company on the premise that the customer service is pathetic if it doesn't go their way. Puffin catering thought they could bully me into accepting their mistake - that was their second mistake!
