This Catering is included in the category of Caterer.
Food is good but the Somosas were cold. Would have liked them hot even warm would be nice.
Although I have only tried the Samosa's from A-one Catering I believe they are in my top 5 Samosa places in the GTA. although they charge about twice as much as other Samosa's in the area they still provide a good value. and you have the option to choose between Veggie for $.85 or Paneer, meat or chicken for $1.10 which aren't offered at all Samosa spots.
Great little place serving East Asian samosas, pakoras and sweets. The samosas are pretty good but the chutney is excellent. Tip: Only get the veggie or the chicken samosas, the beef samosas are not made throughout the day and can be stale.
I'm going to start by saying that their samosas are excellent and that I will be coming back for more - however there are a few things I need to point out. Customer service: poor. When you order over the phone, they don't take down your info, i.e. name, phone number etc. They simply tell you: "OK that's fine". When you come and pick up, there is no friendliness or enthusiasm and you still have to wait in line and then wait for your order. You come in for a small order and you're stuck waiting for the guy ahead of you that just ordered $200 worth of stuff (sweets, etc that they're packing on the spot). It just doesn't make any sense. You can't make someone wait 20 minutes when they want 5 samosas while you serve someone that's buying 50 different sweets and hasn't ordered in advance. If I place a big order on the spot, I expect to wait. Not if I want 5 samosas however. Also, parking is very limited, meaning it can be chaos there at busy times.
Excellent quality samosas, always fresh and tasty! As a customer for a number of years now though, I noticed that they are now quite a bit smaller and the price has gone up quite a bit. They are still good value!
Good place to buy some veggie samosas and real ghee jalebi (dessert). Samosas are slightly more price than other comparable places but still they're good...
Really Good Samosa ..Loved It... Almost perfect ...It was Yumm.. damn really liked the food ... I do suggest this store to be visited to those who haven't..
Really slow and unprofessional employees. No one care about line people are waiting in line and they serving who ever come on counter . After waiting half hour in line for paneer samosa they told to wait more 25 minutes .
The cover of samosa changed. Previous was better. My wife says it’s because the covers used are very thick. Must be hard to get good help. I am going there tomorrow. Let’s see what happens. I will let you know.Back to original quality. Congratulations.
Very tasty food and pure
Best veggie samosas I’ve ever had. The dipping sauce is delicious. Great prices!
My dad used to take me here when I was younger and I came back to see if they were as good as I remembered, and boy did the not disappoint. The veggie samosas are amazing and they give plenty of delicious sauce for dipping. If I’m ever in the area again I am 100% coming here for some food
Very average place. Not even close to authentic samosas. Potatoes were diced, not mashed. Very bland when it comes to spices. Was served the chicken samosa very cold. Easy pass
The A1 Samosa taste has changed. We got 6 samosas yesterday and the taste is changed to a normal punjabi Samosa. Kindly let the public know before selling it that it's not the same authentic taste anymore.
Good samosas, but very disorganized, order in advance, also ensure you're there 15 mins before confirmed pickup and plan to stay 30 mins after your confirmed pick up as they will "miss your order" as they did for all the other customers that were there with us
Quick and easy to place large orders of Samosas. But they're super expensive, almost double of other places. Great service ????
Quality of the food is excellent.
Nice place to buy samosas and Indian sweets. They also serve food. Good prices. Samosas are probably one of the best in Toronto. Staff is friendly. Sweets are tasty and delicious. It can be really busy. Wait time can be 10-20mins. Usually a line up of 5-10 people when you walk in the store.
Such great food, amazing balance of spices and great service. One of the best items though are the samosas. Must try!
Delicious vegetarian samosas at a good price. Restaurant is clean and staff is more or less friendly. This location is currently understaffed so there will be a line more than usual. The samosas at this location look and taste much better than the ones in Oakville.
The best samosas I’ve ever had! Many variety of flavours and the dipping sauce that comes with it is so flavourful. Their butter chicken is also nice and creamy packed with flavour. I can’t wait to go back!
Was pretty busy. Got their vegetarian samosa and chicken one. Was a bit expensive compared to other stores but was delicious. Nice and crispy outside. The chutney was very tasty too. Will go back.
Worst customer service ever wait for order more than 30 minutes but only 4 customer in front of me. Please don't waste money for the advertising just hire more staff at the counter.
Best samosas I've ever had.
Love this place for Samosas
Honestly the best veggie samosas around. The prices went up a tad bit but it's still worth it at around $0.85 for a veggie Samosa. They're always made fresh and their large with a lot of filling.
Amazing samosas!! And fresh naan bread Will be ordering from here again
You food is so good and with good price too . But you guys need to hire more staff …. Service is so slow . Every time I visit here . Wait is 30 min minimum
This is a great place for crispy and quality samosa, pakora, sweets and take out food. I deal with them for more than 10 years. Service is great if you order in advance. Friendly and patient staff and owners. Professional in dealings. Highly recommend to visit once and see yourself.
Best samosa around town. They beat samosa king any day. Big somosas fried deliciously and filling tastes great. I recommend the somosas.
Only thing I tried are their Samosas. First time from a friend. 2nd, 3rd, 4th... we drive over 30 KMs to get there to buy them. Awsome English Style Samosas. What's the difference between the regular and english style? The shell - hard, crispy & crunchy. Their filling is also the best we've had - actual diced potatoes, lots of spices, great taste.
Parking spot is limited. The samosa is really good, just prepare to line up and make sure to come early, they regularly sold out of samosa near the end of the day.
Not professional they forgot our Pepsi and they dont heat our samosa
Great Samosas and we got 70 of them on a 10 minute notice. What an amazing operation.
Good place to buy Indian sweets and snacks.. tasty and better prices
the food quality is average. and poor customer service. the owner lady who deals on counter is not good in dealing customers. we went there.we ordered 2 samosa plates with channa. she gave us plastic disposable spoons then i asked her to give us steel spoons and one lady over there said sorry we dont have steel spoon and one more lady came from kitchen but said we have copper spoons do you want that (in taunting type language) then i thought may be they have copper spoons actually then i said ok mam give us that copper spoons then she just ignored my words. this is just a bad customers dealing.she should be nice to customers if she wants to be a good businessperson.
Best food and poorest customer service. I loved the food at this place and samosa is truely amazing. However, customer service experience is negative. Firstly their timings are not properly undated. They mentioned to close the place by 7 pm but you can get nothing after 6:30 pm, except samosa. So don't go after 6:30 pm. For holidays they never update their Google timings. The worst part is that they will not answer your phone call. When I suggest that they should inform customer properly. The staff told me Thank You in sarcastic manner. Placing order on site is kind of mess. You will never figure out where to place it and who is taking care of you. Hate to say that they are like factory setting so don't expect any customer service. They need to learn that food business is not about only ingredients but customer service. Certainly need better training and reorganize ordering process.
Do count your Samosas before leaving, I ordered 10 n found 8 after reaching home. ????
Amazing samosas... Mithayee was okay not bad and not very good but Samosas were incredible...
Amazing Samosa they have one the best . Also they have amazing Indian curry options
Most of the time they will mix old samosa in fresh samosa I go there very often and get that a lot have to open the box and check it every time Very poor service
85 cents per samosa, and the samosa are a good size and have a good amount of filling, not like other places where it's mainly the breading.
They make best samosas in town . Taking all precautions these days , staff is active but lacks courtesy. Please girls , love your work and smile a little ...
best samosas on the planet!!! anyone else complaining are just hating because these samosas are worth the long lines, they have long lines for a reason!!! Well established business very clean compared to a lot of Indian restaurants in the GTA.
Samosas are awesome. Spicy as per my expectations and very reasonable price.
Me and family love it. Best samosas in GTA
Best place for samosas, work down the street so it's a plus. Fish pakora is to die for .
The vegetable Samosas and sauce were absolutely delicious. Good options here for vegan friendly. Will definitely visit again.
Worse food ever had. Yesterday at 2.30pm, called them for chicken samosas, RECEPTIONIST went rude and said they will serve them colder only. No sense of dealing with customers.
very bad service ... they should hire more staff ... we have to wait for 30 minutes just for 10 samosa ...
Hands down the best samosas. The wait time is longer than expected. Possibly a more automated solution to retrieve customer orders can be included in the list of future enhancements to provide increased service. The owner is great and very dedicated. Keep up the good work, and appreciate how these are hand made - quality and taste really shine.
Samosas are great, a bit pricier than other places but worth it.
Very good quality of Sweets and Samosas. Good Atmosphere Very talented staff
Heard good thing about this place but was highly unsatisfied. Samosas were plain, no real taste to it. And the service was horrible!! I would not recommend this place as they do not respect the customers
Horrendous customer service and experience. Highly not recommend. They don’t care about customer satisfaction. Went there to return off Baklava(it had a burnt old oil smell to it). The senior lady( may be the owner named Sukhwinder)after accusing me of procrastinating, offered only 75% of cash in return. I asked her to print me a proof of purchase receipt, she said I can’t I am busy. I have never seen such a unprofessional attitude of a business towards their customer. Looking forward to follow this ahead
Good samosas, but not as good as I remember. Was driving by the area, decided to pop in and grab a few treats as I had a craving. If you're looking for the best in the area, this is the place as far as I know. I think I'll stick to my local place on Ridgewa Dr, better selection, have several varieties of samosas and other treats and much friendlier and accommodating people there.
Nice place for Samosas. I can say one of the best samosas I've had and I have tried enough. You won't regret.
The best samosas in all of Greater Toronto area. Authentic Indian food. Prepare to wait in line before you can place an order. But it is fully worth the long wait.
Very good quality food. Good customer service. Very neat and clean. Prices are very good.
This restaurant does not worth 1 star as they accept order from the dashboard but when the dasher reached the restaurant , they told the dasher that they have not any order ready. Just disgusting and waste of time and money
Excellent service , the veggie somosas are out of this world! Highly recommended, they have earned their Google ratings
We had samosas and some sweets from Very good. However, very poor customer service. We called and placed a order for samosas and when we get there the lady is like we don't take phone orders!!! With CONVID 19 you should be taking phones orders and there would not be such a long line outside. Please change with the times. I would not go out of way again to go here.
Sweets and samosas are good , but service is very slow. Seems under staffed.
Loved everything especially samosas and their sauce
Best for vegi samusa. Everyday Variety Vegi thali set menu is also good at lunch time.
Incredible flavours and consistent quality. My go-to for samosas.
Buying samosas and some sweets. The best ever tasted. Will definitely come back.
The staff is very friendly and will provide all information regarding the food items if you're new to the Indian cuisine. They have classic, cottage cheese, chicken and beef samosas. Their special sauce compliments samosas like no other sauce. The place is mostly crowded so brace up for little wait.
Food was good.. Service in shop they don't pay much attention, Don't double check the order I went there from Barrie, ON and ordered Fish Pakora along with some other items. They packed in Veg Pakora and not the Fish Pakora. When I called they never apologized and kept saying I was wrong ordering and I asked for Veg pakora and not the Fish Pakora on further discussion she said she haven't charged me for fish Pakora but for Veg pakora. No Respect for Customers and Zero service when it really come to it
I couldn't review without that 1 star They make joke on the name of samosa... Their samosa not even taste close to the actual Indian taste of samosa.
I went there to get sweets and samosas I got one of each type but unfortunately didn’t like the quality of food. May be need to up the quality of products they are using especially the oil they fry there products in. Not going again. Got sick after eating there. Sorry but that is the reality.
I tried veg samosa and cheese samosa, Do crunchy. Love it. I am gonna try something more next time.
Worst customer service...food da hle pta ni ...eh jnaaaniaaa jo kamm krdiaa ohna nu bilkul Akl ni..specially oh colored hair wali. Seriously very rude staff ..very very slow service. ???????????????????????????????????????????????? 8 smose li 1 ghnta waste krta
Ratings for samosas 1. Veggie 2. Beef 3. Chicken 4. Don't bother with the paneer
Food taste is good but staff is super rude non responsive . Don’t even know how to greet customers. You guys not doing fashion show. Customer service should be your priority. Unprofessional way of serving people !!
They really know how to make samosas ???? Vegetarian flavor is the best of the best!
Love their Somosas.. Nice place, friendly people.
I always love the samosas from this place. We often get samosas and jalebis catered from this place for our office. Always fresh, tasty and mouth burning warm. Price is very reasonable too. Haven't had the chance to try anything else, but hoping that they are also as good as the samosas.
Good samosas. Veggie is a must. Staff not as friendly as I would like but they keep the amount of people inside to a limit which is good.
Best vegetable samosas and pakoras and don't forget to taste alo tikki
Serving best samosas, yeah sure when you are serving frozen samosas. Came here all the way from North York just to eat old rotten samosas.
I love to eat specifically samosas from this place, I suggest to buy veggie potato,
Great place. Great food. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star is because they gave me a beggie samosa when I ordered meat samosas. ???? I only found out when I got home and it's too far to come back. Check your order before you leave the place. Lesson learned.
So this place was my Saturday morning snacks to go to, used to order every other saturday. But last Saturday i ordered food and because of covid i don't want to stand in line for long and on top of that it was cold morning. I placed an order and the lady told me sorry we don't take small order over phone come stand in line. Dude if 20$ order is not good enough for you. Goodbye forever and i used to come all the way from creditview and wanless
Samosas....Had 'em. Loved 'em. Will eat 'em again. I love spicy stuff and this is excellent.
40 minute wait for 12 veggie samosas. Not very crispy. Too Spicy eith no flavour. 99% potato filling with a few shriveled peas. Did not reheat well.
Went there for samosa and there were soooooo many flies on the food. Food on display that appeared to be Saran wrapped actually had flies crawling in and around the food.just disgusting. The samosas were hot and fresh but the cheap prices would not have me coming back. I can only imagine the state of the kitchen.
Samosas taste delicious! Good price and large billboard off Derry Road brought me in. Would definitely recommend ????.
Great place for quick bites and also have low prices. Tasty samosas with chutney. A large variety of sweets which are delicious and addictive. Must go for Punjabi's. Highly recommended.
Almond milk is the best. It is too creamy and awesome taste.
Edit: I am regular customer bcz of quality of food we get from here. We order way too much from here. …
Everything is good but they provide such a bad service. You have to wait for 30 minutes even there are only 5 customers. Need to improve the customer service.
Best SAMOSAS in GTA , overall everything is great.
Yummm.... "spiced just right" samosas and pakoras, it was worth the drive!
Very good for snacks/ tea! Always crowded with a long queue. Had a veg thali, but was not worth it.
Order ahead as there always busy but great food and price
Best vegetable Samosas! You must try it!
Very hood been going for over 15 years!!
Horrific customer service. Sukhvinder is absolutely terrible. I ordered 36 samosas three hours in advance for pickup for a work potluck. I ended up waiting 45 minutes to get my order. Meanwhile, other people who had called in got to pick up their orders and walk-in customers were all able to get theirs, many of whom ordered in even higher quantities. Every time I asked Sukhvinder to see what was going on, she refused to look at me, never apologized once, or even explained the delay. When I asked her if pre-ordering was even worth it, she blunty said "no". She would also joke in her own language to her equally unhelpful co-workers about me, which was the cherry on top of this samosa sundae. Sukhvinder, you are a disgrace.
Excellent samosas. Sundays only samosas and sweets. For other orders you should visit other than Sunday
5+ if option is available. All their samosas are delicious. Very selective variety of sweets but good part is they all state very good.
Samosas and chai are good Pakoras are not served fresh Need to improve the service time
I love samosas and chana samosa chat from here. Jalebis were good too.
I know they are famous. You can say anything. But if the owner is reading this then please get more cash tills and train you staff in customer service. You will do even better. However, I know this will ignored.
Love their vegetable samosa, had to drive 1 hr but it was all worth it. They have so many other options and do catering as well. Service was fast and amazing. Staff are very polite and friendly. Manager also ensure that COVID-19 protocols were being follow and maintained 6 people limit in store.
We have been getting samosas from here for a long time. The taste of filling has depreciation over time. The owners must review the whole supply chain.
Definitely the best Samosas in Toronto.
Its ok, very average nothing special, not worth the drive , you can get same sort of indian snacks and food at your neighborhood indian sweets corner
Location should be in plaza than factory store.
Fresh samosas and sweets! I love this place. Easy way to cater for an office or event. My go-to spot
Best sumoas!!! Love this place. On the weekends they make the sumoas as to order. So they are super fresh and hot!!!
Food is great however service is not great , ex. I order samosas and kebobs the day before told them I will come and noon to pick up and then call them at 11am to make sure it will ready, stood in line with 20 people ahead and when it was my turn the kebobs were not ready and they just keeping saying 5 min 5 min ….25 minutes later ………..and they just laugh about thinking that we don't catch on that they forgot it …… really?
Best samosas around and well worth the drive. However, lineups can be long during peak lunch and dinner times. Prices have also increased for these, but the deliciousness totally pays itself. Their deep fried peppers are also very good
The only reason I go here is for the samosas, rest of the food here isn’t that good. The service is alright but does take a while. Its a small store, limited parking spaces outside, prices are fair. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try if you live nearby, but wouldn’t bother coming here if you live far away.
The samosas are #1 in the city to me. Veg pakora is awesome and would be better served hot. Absolutely love the sweets...
Very good samosas at a reasonable price. I have had many samosas from here over the past year and this style of samosa never disappoints. My friends like the chicken and beef ones, but I prefer the veggie and paneer (cheese) ones. Make sure you try the paneer pakoras - when they are fresh and hot they are delicious. There are only ladies working here - maybe that's why the food is so tasty. There are also Indian sweets and some veggie curries that I want to try, so I will have to come back another day. If you are near the Pearson International Airport and have a craving for samosas, then this is the place - highly recommended.
Good food. False advertising. Wrong and misleading information on the website. What you order and what you get are very different sizes. Bad business
Best samosas in GTA
Their Samosa's are the best and is their HOT SELLING item, tried their sweets as well and found it equally good.
Delicious spicy food man, wicked stuff. The sweets are top quality.
Food is good but I placed a pre-order in person and when I went to pick up my order they said there were no more orders to be filled. Not impressed as I was going to take the item to a party.
Best samosas in the town but you will have to wait for your turn for around 15-20 minutues
I had been there tried samosas but they were not worth the hype.
Love the Samosas. I can say they do have best vegetarian Samosa but sweets are not that great just ok ok. The Samosa sauce is amazing too.
Customer service is slow but SAMOSA IS REALLY GOOD, LITTLE OILY, I PUT THEM IN AIR FRYER FOR 5 MINUTES, THEY TURNED AMAZING
Awesome samosas but they don't make butter chicken on Sundays.
Their samosas are to die for. I haven't tired the other items so cant comment on those. Customer service is terrible, slow and rude. Employees give off this vibe that they don't want to be there. Place is kind of small so they got no room to sit and dine. Food: ***** Customer Service: ** Ambience: *
Way too busy and not enough staff. Samosas are great but they don't give you the green chutney unless you pay
Very very poor service They let people waiting and work too slow Even smtime everybdy go at back and people waiting Also NO SANITIZER anywhere So when u come inside touching door handle where u can sanitize hand
Definitely cold service, but their bread pakora and samosa’s are unmatched. The best ever!
One of the best samosas I've ever had in my life. I don't even mind the fact that's there's usually a 30 mins wait. It tastes amazing. One small thing, their line up and order system needs some work. But I'm only there for the samosas.
Found this place thanks to the SPDA group events and the president always sets up everyone with A-One Catering's ridiculously good samosas. They are a catering joint that has a variety of foods for pickup and/or pre-order but their veggie samosas are some of the best in TO - if not THE best. Served with a tamarind sauce, these pastries are worth the price of admission indeed! Accepts cash, credit and debit.
So expensive just for samosas! They jacked the price up just because they got greedy! The service is also very unfriendly!
I can only speak for the samosas and pakoras but everything I have ever had from here truly rocked.
10 stars for samosas
Decent food, samosas are too oily but sweets are very good. Staff was kind of rude and do not seem to care about the customer much.
Little line up always but nice and tasty snacks and food options. I like chicken and cottage cheese samosas personally.
Poor Customer service Cashier don’t know how to talk
Not happy with service today, They have served cold spring rolls and non crispy samosas. Pre-order was for a business meeting. It was a bad impression. Suggestion- Please make sure your order is fresh as requested before takeout.
I went there because girl working there took our order of 2 veg thali and chana Bhaturaover the phone , when I entered she just charged me and when I went to choose the veggies . There’s only 2 veggies to choose . I asked her why she took my order and charged me if she don’t have anything in the containers. She just shut her mouth and went inside . This is so annoying for me. Definitely not going over there again.
Best samosas ever! However the service is always very slow. Every time I come there is a huge line. They need to hire more staff or open more locations.
One if best place for great taste of food. Parking available around easily.
Staff claimed to us they don't serve hot food on Sundays... what.. just what?? Went to another Indian place down the road who were totally willing to let us give them our money instead.
Great vegetarian samosas n jilaybis... eat them fresh n warm with the chatni ( special dipping sauce)
My order was badly mixed up. I asked for 12 meet samosa and four vegetable samosa and they gave me exactly the opposite. The sweets were all perfect. Great quality as usual but please get the orders correct.
I ordered chicken tikka but I get chicken curry in my order with only lots of gravy that is waste for me and also said No matar in Paneer Burji but they Put it in it and called back but don’t get positive response by them, they can’t take their dish back so I wasted money on bad Restaurent A-one catering and they charge 2$ for plain Tawa roti for each please check your food in restaurant before leave because they can’t listen after that
Best Samosas in Town... We got served By Navpreet.. She is very Helpful and provided excellent customer Service... Thanks a lot Navpreet...????????????????????????
They had all kinds of Fresh indian foods and sweets.
The best samosas we've had.I come from Peterborough which is about 150km north. It's hard t get some one on the phone. They are a five star for sure.
The best Samosas in whole GTA. The taste is phenominal. The store is always clean and well organized. Even the sweets are quite delicious. Customer service is kind of okay. Some of the staff are not se welcoming in nature because of attitude but that can be ignored since the food is amazing. Highly recommended for samosas????
They claim to have the best samosas. They do. I can't say it enough. They absolutely, 100%, without a doubt, unarguably, the best ever. Ever. Get the veggie ones.
One of the best samosa’s in the GTA. People line up ordering dozens of them. Their veggie and beef samosas are my favourite.
Good place for quick snack, do try the Samosa and Chole (chickpeas curry).
The best Samosas anywhere. Comes with good sauce. Be prepared to wait a little because they are popular. Worth the wait. Good service considering that everyone leaves the place with boxes of Samosas. They have indian sweets and other stuff, but we go there mainly for the Samosas.
Ordered chicken samosas today but got all of them cold (may be stale). Never going back to their store again if they can’t value the customer who is paying them. It happened before as well. Should be professional to serve people better but not cold food. Highly disappointed. Please goers check your food before you leave their place to ensure if it is hot and fresh.
Terrible cold and re-fried samosas, even though they claimed that they were "fresh" when asked. I tried to speak to the staff in a very calm manner in order to let them know. They did not seem to care or even try to understand the …
No doubt the BEST Samosa so far I tasted since I started eating them for the last 15 years...BUT, VERY OILY. NOT GOOD for people who knows to watch their eating habits to live longer. Remember health is wealth! Probably I'll taste them again but another year, and not much, just a taste.
Gajar ka Halwa was delicious. Perfect consistency and not too gooey like the ones I have eaten so far. Snacks are yummy too. Freshly made.
Food is really reallly good. Only reason this is 4 star is the wait time!. Always have to wait 20+ minutes. The staff is pretty normal, it’s not exceptional customer service but it’s not bad either.
One of the best india restaurants Always go.there from years always got good quality food Love their chicken samosas Highly recommended Thanks
I would say really good place to buy snacks like Samosas and I really recommend those Veggie round Pakoras good quality and prices are pretty reasonable! Expect some wait time pretty busy sometimes
Delicious samosas, Indian cuisine. Dal, panir if I wrote it right way. Excellent customer service and fresh and hit nan. Samosa 3 different type and potatoes samosas is not dry as I had before. People is staying outside to go inside but line is moving fast. My top review for quality of the food. About service should be a little bit more friendly for other than Indian people. This is only my advice.
Fast for samosa i order 270 and got in 30 minutes
The samosas are incredible. Unfortunately the service is a little slow so expect to wait a while if you see a line. It's worth it though!
Terrible Customer Service - you have to wait, servers are rude. Then keep running to the back - YOU SELL SAMOSA'S KEEP THEM IN THE FRONT. And teach your employees the basis of proper customer service.
I only had the samosas from this place that's why I can't give a higher rating. The samosas at this place are pretty big, it's larger then any other one and thts why the price is bit higher but I didn't really like them. I am very specific with my samosas so it might just be me but anyhow I will come back and try something different.
Super hyped Normal and super oily samosas served with the worst customer service and rude attitude is what I didn't like. Not going to this place again.
Great food and service, it can get busy sometimes but that just means they're good at what they do. The samosas are their staple takeout, some of the best you will ever have with a more crunchier lighter pastry!
Good samosas! I always come back.
Bought delicious samosas. Small shop but you can take out large orders. Free parking. Some eat in area to and enjoy punjabi sweets like burfi, gulab jamun etc.
I've had the best samosas from this place! I haven't had better samosas than the ones I get from this place. They're so tasty. I would never go wrong whether I get chicken, beef or veggie samosas. They're massive too. Two pieces would fill me up like a meal. So that's a total of $2 for dinner. Lol. My mom always asks me to pick some up when I go visit her. And when I have potlucks to go to, I always bring samosas from A-One and they're always a hit. Customer service at this place is good too. They're always patient with me especially when I have multiple orders. The place is for takeout orders only. Unfortunately, I can't review the other items they sell cuz I haven't tried them. But if the samosas are any indication, I'm sure they're yummy too. I just keep beelining to the samosas. Lol.
Had some great samosas and friendly staff. Prices are good.
Why do they serve cold food? Literally the chicken and paneer samosas were cold af however the veggie samosa’s were a bit warm. Jalebi was really yum though. I’m fan of samosas but didn’t got #thebestsamosas as per there hashtag written outside store! Bit disappointed.
Really good samosa ( veg and Chicken ones ) great pakora also .hands down the best chutney ever ????
Horrible organization. Staff seemed to have no sense of leadership. They didn’t even seem to work as a cohesive team, this caused an extra delay in service time. It was very busy and nobody was directing or guiding customers of where to stand in line or even to reassure us (the customers) would shortly be helped. This resulted in customers who were waiting in line for 50 minutes while new customers came in and got served immediately. Incredibly frustrating. Half an hour wait JUST to order and another 15 to get our food. Not impressed at all.
Absolutely loved the samosas!
The samosas were not as good as i was expecting after the hype. It takes a while to get to the order counter, order on phone and pick up to save some time
Samosas from here have always been great value, but had a bad experience today ordering something else. The $25 plate of butter chicken only has about $12 worth of actual chicken. The rest of the weight is sauce, which on its own is great, but don't charge that much for basically two chicken breasts worth of protein. Was really disappointed in this.
Very busy but good stuff.
I just experienced the worst customer service ever. I was waiting in line to place my order when the server decided to serve a man standing behind me. When I pointed out that I was next in line, the server dismissed me with the comment that there is no line. Don't waste your time, or you may not be served.
BEST SAMOSAS I have ever ever eaten! I have tried various types and these guys by far beats the rest! Please try before judging :P
Decent food with reasonable prices. Also, their staff members are really helpful and kind
milke badaam 6.00$ Quality and quantity man...it matters.. lot of competition in GTA..gud luck
Their Samosas are the best you can't get anywhere
Slowish service with zero smiles, ordered samosas over the phone 3hrs in advance, when came in to pick up, not ready, they had to wait/hold me back another 10-15 mins to get the order ready with no appologies or acknowledgement... however, samosas are awesome.
There samosas are really delicious. Always a huge line up but always get my order: nice and warm. Most of our meals from office are ordered from A-one. Affordable prices and great food. Service is fast and team members are always serving us with smile. If you love Indian food then this place worth a visit. Try the specialty of place
The chicken samosas were ice cold
Best samosas in the GTA for sure. It's shame however they lack in customer service. Like the Soup Nazi in Seinfeld however, you go, you line up, you hope to get served, and when you do get those delicious sammies in your hand, you end each and every last bite.
I like their services
Amazing prices on Samosas! Great taste and they are so addicting! Very fresh food as well! They can cook it there if you want it hot and fresh.
Undoubtedly the best ! I would wait for my colleagues in Toronto to bring Samosas from here, not realizing they have a location in Mississauga. I stopped by today to bring some home to Hamilton for my parents to test out before Ramadan and for the first time ever my dad said “ MHMM, THESE ARE GREAT”. The sweets and samosas were 5 out of 5. Definitely going back every week???? Customer Service is good too, no wait time and really quick service. The girls were nice too.
Excellent vegetable samosas. Always got samosas and delicious chutney.
Poor service i told the girl that guy is disable let him skip the line and she ignored ,selling samosa is not enough darling
Warning! As if the the Samosas, Jalebis, Gulab jamuns are not temptation enough, they also have chola bhatoras, biryani, goat curry and a whole lot of other mouthwatering dishes for takeout too at very few reasonable prices. Stay away if you ever want to fit into your jeans again.
It's ok
Decent place with variety of Food choices but at a Remote location, not very convenient place to find.
Veggie samosas are awesome however chicken samosas are cold and soggy.
Great food but a little slow on the service...
The samosas are nice. The sweets are ok.
They are maker of #1 samosa in Canada! But just Veggie Samosas are the BEST....
Amazing samosas and jalebi i ever had.
Best samosas around
Everytime we come here always a line up and now having to wait outside due to covid which understandable, but the line never moves and extremely slow slow service! Came here today and line up outside that never moved again ...never retuning again.
Went to try the samosa variety since they have stuffings like chicken, beef and paneer samosas. Very ordinary stuffing, no flavour or spice, pretty bland. Didn't like the tea as well since it had been prepared long before. Didn't try anything else. Samosas didn't live up to the hype. Not worth the trouble for me.
Most delish samosas I have had. I love the chicken ones.
Best samosas in Brampton. By a mile. Honestly. Great service too! All other samosas are nowhere near as good
I purchased sweets from here on diwali. One of the best sweets I have had in long time.
I am a big fan of Indian food especially Samosas, and I find the Samosas here are one of the best. My dad got me hooked me on them like 10 years ago and i have been enjoying them since. I usually buy in bulk as I don't live nearby. Call ahead and place a order to save time, otherwise you may be there for a while.
Excellent and tasty samosas. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian samosas are not overly spicy. The carrot barfi and their khoya barfi was tasty and not overly sweet.
The samosa crust on it is still one of the best in the city. The filling is debatable. On the other hand, the Mirchi bajjis were undercooked and the whole experience turned sour just because of that. The covid protocols are followed well.. But the service is sooo slow for no reason.
Had Their samosas for the first time ( after reading a lot about them on internet) . Each samosa is for 0.75 cents and the taste is worth any usual samosa u buy... infact u can give it a lesser rating . The filling is bland and the potatao is not mushy but diced into small cubes. The taste is no extraordinary. Let’s talk about the crust... the usual thick cryspy crust is ABSENT. Their samosas are wrapped in the Pattice or puff pastry wrap . It’s definitely eatable and different( it’s cryspy as well ) but not the authentic Punjabi samosa ... sorry guys but disappointed.
My wife loves thier somosas. Anytime we have a family gathering we make sure to get some for everyone
Great samosas veg and meat, great prices. They serve other dishes as well. I hope they don’t keep raising their prices. They’re always busy and there’s a lineup.
Taste of Pakistan, best samosas in T.O.
Great samosas. Depending on the time of day, the line can be extremely long. Maybe separate lines for ordering and paying might make things move along faster.
Food is good but they charge extra for samosa take out boxes and on receipt they print open sweet. That’s funny. Indian logic.
The best veg samosas in the GTA!
Great British style samosas. Very clean. Always a rush for the samosas.
Ordered a day in advance- the lady on the phone was SO rude, just assumed what I wanted and was ready to hang up until I asked her to pause. Pick up was at 9, came at 8:45, had to wait 30 mins.
Bad experience All my samosas were cold. Check before you leave the place.
Great place for samosas and Indian sweets. Vegetable samosas are 75 cents each so bring cash and order a dozen for $9 because you can’t just eat one...or two...or three! …
No doubt their Samosas are good but their owner is manner less and very rude.
Best samosa ever. Great quality. Meat is amazing. They are all good. Will be going back for sure.
I want to give them zero star if I can the reason is that the girls were very very very very rude and they didn’t know anything about customer service when we gave them order they just ignore us and keep on doing their own deeds.i think they need to learn the rules of best customer service never go there.
Best samosas in town. But need to make sure you call ahead as the wait time can be very long. It does get very busy during lunch time. I def. recommend going there for more than just samosas. As they other dishes been really good. My son loves their butter chicken.
Let me start out with the fact that it's covid. We ordered a significant amount of food, over $175 over the phone and said we would be there in about 45 mins to allow them sufficient time to prepare the food and have it ready when we arrived. When we did arrive, there was a line up (understandably) and I called to say that I placed an order and if I could come in and pick it up. I was told I have to wait in line outside (drizzling rain) to pick up. So we waited, almost 30 mins outside and once we got inside, commonsense would tell you that our order would have been ready for pick up and ready to go. You would be wrong. We waited another 20 mins for her to start packing our order and when we finally received it and left, it was about 55 mins from the time we arrived to the time we left. The food was good and tasty! I would give a higher rating if they were organized and quick. But the girls were moving like molasses and without a care in the world. Being in the training industry in the restaurant sector, there are so many opportunities for a faster and stream lined pick up and order process. Other than that, the food is good!
Amazing Samosas...love this place...but not quite sure about the menu...how can you label beef and chicken samosas as "Vegetarian"??? On the Takeout Menu a green dot indicates a "Vegetarian" dish...which means suitable for someone that wants something purely "Vegetarian"...there are green dots indicating that Beef and Chicken Samosas are "Vegetarian"...must be a new meaning for "Vegetarian"...I wonder what is considered "Gluten Free"...another new meaning maybe...I would say the menu labelling cannot be trusted ... but overlooking these discrepancies... still the "BEST" Samosas anywhere
THE BEST SAMOSAS, great take away dishes..worth the hour drive
Wonderful Indian sweets n catering place.all the preparations made are fresh, especially Indian snacks like samosas are quite tasty.
Sorry reason wasn't saved earlier: I bought 10 chicken samosas late on a Tuesday, they were unfortunately mostly onion samosas. In the past I had much better quality. Raised to 2 stars.
Brampton’s best samosas ❤️
Purpose of the visit is to taste samosa and veg thali, if it's good will order for my daughter's birthday party. Samosas are not good, it's very oil and it's not tasty. I ordered veg Thali, naan is really soft and and good , but vegg Currys are horrible, Basic aminity washroom is not available. Personally my family and I don't like the tastes over there.
Food quality and taste is good but cutomer service is extreme slow….
Best samosa place in the Ontario. Delicious best customer service. Very neat and clean.
Very popular for their samosas which is true and they are very good. But I feel the quality has deteriorated lately.
Food is good, but they are short of staff which results in higher waiting times…. Go in free time only
While food here is excellent, the service is not. They are very disorganized. Considering the lineup at lunch, there should be more staff. One at the cash to take orders, one to do the running in and out of the kitchen. There is no reason for it to take over 30 minutes with only 10 people in front of me. There are no floor markings to indicate a service path, to help guide customers. Thy should also be willing to take larger orders over the phone or online. This would help move the line faster.
Good food but customer service is poor. After waiting 20 minutes in line, I left because it was going to take at least another 20 to order.
Best Samosas in GTA
A1 catering do not give good food, their samosa's are given to us cold and their chutny Taste's like cough medicine their service is also very bad
A-One catering is the best place for Samosa's. I have had many other types but they are the Best. We have always ordered for work from A-One. Whether we buy the veggie, beef or chicken they are nice and crispy, filled with lots of meat, vegetables etc. I have had some that too much pastry and soft. I will be honest, I haven't tried a lot of other dishes or their sweets, but they do look good. You can order ahead, online or by phone or walk in. We usually order around 70 or more. Sometimes a line up but moves quick. The ladies there do a good job, not just taking the orders but fulfilling them. Thank you A-one. KEEP up the great samosa's. Bubba.
This is the first time I have ever given 5 stars. The name says it all "the best samosa's in the world "
Great Samosas. Freshly made on site. Hot table available.
Best samosa's I've ever had and I love the sauce that goes with them.
Best samosa in toronto. A bit oily and the fillings fall out as soon as you yake your first bite. But it is not that big of a deal. And their sauce that comes with samosa is good. Jalebis and gulab jamins are also good.
Situated in an industrial area in a quiet corner, you could easily miss this place. I got there because someone recommended them And, I was not at all disappointed. Their samosas (for which there was a line up) is out of this world. The line up clearly indicated its popularity among the people working in this area. Their entrees were equally good. The biryani (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) were something to die for Despite is small size this restaurant has some heavy weight dishes that would tickle any foodie's tongue. Definitely worth visiting.
We usually buy samosas, fritters, bread pakodas stuff like that from this place twice or thrice a month. From past couple months, the food Quality is really changing, quality is getting low specially their chutneys have completely changed. Red chutney doesn’t even look like a chutney, it is so watery and taste is completely different now. And they are adding too much color in green chutney, literally feel as if I’m eating color. My question is if people are buying so much food from you guys and you are earning well out of it, then why not give them good items to eat?? How much more money can you make by adding more water to your chutneys??? And sometimes your green chilli pakodas, chillis look stale. And other thing to bring into attention is their interaction with their customers is good, but they could be more cheerful towards their customers with more positive approach. Thanks
If you are in Mississauga and you love indian food , this is the place I recommend. They are really popular for there Samosas! . And it is really tasty and yeah it does not have high calories.
Best samosa in Ontario. Always hot and fresh. I am a costumer since last 10 years.
By far the best samosas you would ever experience. Their vegetable samosas are great , the chicken samosas are excellent and the meat samosas are mind blowing. Only regret is too far from my home or else I would be there on a regular basis. I have taken these samosas to potlucks with my non Indian friends and all of them ask for name of the place and directions and say it is best samosa they ever had!
The samosas are really really good but then it is costly AF...... i mean a dollar for a samosa, that it outrageous
Best samosas. Definitely my go to place when I'm craving samosas
Everyone at my workplace loves the beef and chicken samosa...might even be the reason I'm gonna get a promotion.
They should rename their meat samosas to onion samosas. In an effort to cut costs, there’s very little meat but a lot of onions in their beef and chicken samosas. Feels like a rip off to me!
the chicken samosas is great. but one of the cashiers are a dismissive b . she needs to not be so blatantly rude. hoping she didn't spit in my food after I addressed her failure to be polite .
They have the best samosas in This area, Specially the paneer samosas???????????? The only thing bad is that Most of the time its just busy and you have to wait for your order. But there samosas are worth the wait ????????????
Great samosas! Large selection of Indian sweets. Their chana masala is great too.
Amazing as always. Keep up the good work and great quality food. Samosas are amazing
Usually comes for samaosa and sweets. Food is good but always huge line up and 2 employees serving. I have been observing since 2 years always 2 employees taking orders and delivering as well . May i request to increase employee to so the people dont have to stand outside in freezing temp.
First, tried to call and order and the girl on the phone told us everything is ready, you can just come in and take it but they made us wait for exactly 38 mins and on top of that food didn't live up to the hype we were expecting!!
Every two weeks I invite my friends over for board games and ever since I discovered this place it's made it easier on me to host. For $30 I can get samosas to feed the 7-8 of us no problem, beef, chicken, vegetarian and cheese (paneer). I can't recall the prices off the top of my head but a dollar for the meat samosas and 0.85 for the vegetarian. This place is built for catering and you can get your order made in no time or order the premade food by the pound. If you're tired of pizza or just want to keep the budget under 30-40$ to feed a few people this place is perfect!
Nice Indian snacks but the lady at customer service is not polite u come in and she just let u stand and no one ask what u want u have to call their attention
Loved there samosas but didn't liked the mixed veg pakoras. They have eggless cake as well so maybe in future I've to try that too
This business offers very tasty and mouthwatering Indian food and desserts, most desserts are served piping hot if you go there in the afternoon when they make them. I would recommend this location over any other as the food is always fresh due to the high turnover.
Vry bad customer service........last night i buy smosas ...they not give us sauce....then i call back ....they said it is ur mistake......how.......then they said we are close.......then A one name famous ..customer service going bad.........????????????????????????
Best samosa's I've ever had! You can't just eat one.
The best samosa, a bit spicy, Less spice, it is good for people who is not used to it.
Probably the best samosas around. Good size. I was impressed with the safety measures they have in place. The service is swift. They do a good job. Parking isn't bad. The location isn't bad. I would expect that with their success, they might move to a more premier location but their current location is doing just fine. I will return. Thanks.
There samosas are simply the best. A bit pricey (60 cents now after jan 15. 2018 it is 75 cents per piece), but it is the best thing on their menu. It is a must try for any person who is a samosa lover or new to samosas.
Loved it
Fresh samosas is their speciality.
Amazing place for samosa but they dont value your time. First come first serve but they prepare order right after you pay while others keep on waiting. Online order is also not prepared until you come in and pay for it. But Their samosa is just delicious!
Yummy food but spicy staff is bit untrained or not friendly.
Great fresh samosa's and sweets appreciate the quality of the food and good service
This is how I got my food...let the picture do the talking #1000Words #WhereIsTheLove?
Best samosas around! Crispy thinner pastry, potatoes are spiced, finely cubed and cooked to perfection. Nobody makes them like they do and that’s why there’s always a line outside the door.
Great tasting vegetable samosa. Best in the city.
Vegetable samosas are ok. Don't take chicken or beef- lot of onion almost no meat.
Food wise they are amazing but very poor in terms of service, bad customer dealing from the girls working at cash counter, rude behavior from those girls and even though slow in service. I'm feeling bad that I'm giving this kinda review but every customer deserve a better service.
I called the store one hour before I leave my place in Richmond Hill and asked about Veggie biryani and the lady told me we have all kind of beryani veggie, chicken and meat Beryani, but after driving 50 km that took me almost one hour, I was told today we didn’t have at all Biryani and neither of any other chicken or meat food except few foods that were in front that were cold and not tasty at all. When I asked why happend, she said the cook didn't have time and no other foods. Very very disappointing and never ever again come back. The food was so bad except samouse Prabhsimran Singh
Best place for Samosas that I have found and you cant beat the price! Always stop when i am close by here. The sweets are excellent. This place is always busy and have never been disappointed with anything from here, consistent quality, tastes, and value each and every time!
I have always enjoyed their samosaas and sweets but last 2 experiences have been different. The samosaas were oileir than usual and sweets specially laddoos appeared not so fresh.
Their Samosas are great & their imli chutney is delicious. However, the customer service.. not so much. After always waiting in line down the road, you would expect a warm welcoming environment from the staff but that’s not the case.
This is the best place for fresh and delicious Samosas. They also have a wide selection of desserts which are perfect for events!
Only 6 people allowed at a time but quick service. Food is great
This place is an absolute joke. Waited exactly 40 minutes to place a very small order and they still managed to give me a completely incorrect item. After going back to my office and calling them the woman on the phone says "it's not theft right?, you got your order". While I waited 40 minutes to place my order I witnessed the workers show the patrons a lot of attitude.
Delicious. Only samosas on Sundays. No meals. Amazing desserts. Get there early. Everytime I go, there's always a line. Well worth the wait.
It’s good good indian snacks. You will find most of the North Indian snacks and confectionary. Location and parking are the down point. Serving is fast. Samosas, spring rolls are must buy items.
Staff is very rude. But food is delicious.
A-1 samosas,As the name says,Love the samosas,so fresh and tasty
Best samosa, amazing sweets. Long wait.
The only place for "eglish" samosa that i know of...thin crispy breading..not too spicy $75 each tho. Yummmm
I went in asking for 16 MEAT samosas, after getting home ready to eat some MEAT samosas which I've waited for a while buy. The first bite o realized they are NOT the MEAT samosas I asked for, they were veggie samosas. VERY DISAPPOINTED
You’ve to try there Samosas!!
Best samosas in the world lol. No, seriously, they're addicting!
The best samosas you can get. They are pricier than most other locations but I personally think it's worth it.
Their samosas are good.
Tried all types of samosa, taquitos/spring roll and bread pakoda but were too bland and over fried and as fried multiple times so too oily. Jalebi was over fried and had burnt taste. Service qas good but unfortunately first and last visit.
good quality samosas not sure about veges and curries
This has to be if not the best place to get Samoa. Staff is very friendly and lots of options for sweets and snacks. I've been going here since 15 years and the samosas have always consistently tasty and fresh
World-class veggie samosas. Truly the best I have ever had. Crunchy, earthy, and rich.
I had to call seven times in a day just to request catering service and absolutely very rude staff - could have been better if they said they are busy and cannot take order rather than tell me to call after five minutes, after ten minutes - went for lunch - staff left call later !!! I would not recommend even if their samosas are tasty - their manners are not Canadian.
A trustworthy place to buy tasty samosas. My favorites are veggie and chicken samosas.
Very slow service but food is good
Cleanest and tastiest samosas hands down. A very clean environment. Excellent hours. A hidden gem. There samosas are the best in the GTA. Chutney is excellent as well
Bought paneer pakora from them, their paneer pakora was uncooked not cooked properly and flavourless...
great vegetarian samosas I love driving all the way here to get.
I've only had the samosa and spring rolls from here and they are amazing! Spring rolls lean towards the gingery side but not overwhelming. They sell the samosa by the box without having to preorder which is super convenient. Love their chutney as well. Really clean and organized too.
The worst customer service ever .. waited in heavy rainfall to get the order and that too being treated with rude and unprofessional customer service. This is gonna be my last purchase at this place. I don’t have time see such unwelcoming people who don’t value time of others.
Most likely the 'one' in 'a one' stands for their one star service. Waited in line about 30 minutes just to find out that they run out of chicken samosas . No one from the staff did care to announce this to the crowd. The pace of serving is very slow . Although on-line orders are advertised on a-one website they honor this preferentially : I could not get this service , while a dude skipped the line, paid, took his order and was out in less than 2 minutes
All their samosa were made fresh in house. They spiciness of sauce is perfect and was given generously without being asked for it. We ordered some Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai. We'll try stop by to get some more samosas when in the area.
Very bad customer service have to wait in line for hours especially truck drivers have less time to wait. Need to be fixed
Best chicken samosas ever. Need a bigger store, very cramped in there
Cold pakora & cold customer service. Staff unfriendly & non-professional
Smosas are indeed good tried many time good for catering. That is only thing i tried from their place. I believe it will get busy during lunch hours with people who works around There are only 6-7 seats for seating so do not hope to get seating with your buddies I would never buy any sweets from there shop looks like those sweets are sitting there for ages. Those rasgulas and cham chams are so dry, if you don’t prepare fresh sweets too often do not put them in showcase. It looks so bad. One just cannot but them
I’ve been coming here for 2 years they have one of thee best samosas in the GTA!! They keep up with the high demand of customers on a daily basis the cashiers are very friendly and the service is quick and efficient the quality is never lacking.
I'm telling you guys, their Biryani and Samosas and likewise the sweets are fabulous. Your money is worth it to spend with these foods.
Service very slow....trying to save money by not hiring new staff...people need to wait outside even in such hot weather and for small order too
One of the best samosas in the GTA, prices have increased way too much now for a veggie samosa, increased twice in a year's time not worth the price now
Sweets might be good, but samosa sometimes are stale ...and spring rolls and veggie thali is the worst...I love their chicken Tikka roll...I don't fathom why they don't take order over the phone...charge credit card first and have the food ready for pickup....
Very tasty vegetable Samosas and many other varities available. Must visit place.
The best samosa's. And jalebi's in desi gheo are also very good. 5 stars for the samosa's and jalebi's
Probably one of the best Samosa in the world.
Awesome taste of samosas and pakoras
I saw some reviews that the service wasn't the best but that wasn't my experience, the lady was very kind, explained what a Tali was to me even though she was busy, and went above and beyond to get me the food I wanted. 5 stars easily
great food, super clean, great service. can't wait to try more dishes!
Sry to say but their service is not good . I ordered the food And they gave cold food.staff is not good with the customer. I know there is a line up and it’s busy but staff should know how to deal with the customer and they should be more careful with the food. I went there to return the cold food that they gave me and have the hot, but the lady said me to wait until the other customers are done. I think they would have given the first priority to me as I already took food from them and I have to come back to return the food as it was cold. This really disappointed me, I don’t think I am coming back now...
Customer services bad we oder 1 box mix sweet they did not ask for choice Samosa was not crisp and cold and chana Samosa taste good but cold and sweets looks like not fresh we oder right at the location then we eat right away in parking and it was cold
I only ordered samosas. They were the best I’ve ever had. Crispy outside. Perfect texture on the inside. Incredible.
Their samosas are good
There chicken Samosa is worth eating. Bit far and isolated in industrial area.
Great takeout place for chicken, beef & veg samosas...
Very friendly staff. The best somas in Ontario. Before you die you must try their somas. My wife and I bought 48 today and ate six before we got to our event. We will be back....
Very nice and tasty samosa you will get. But they should reduce the oil as it is deep fried
How pathetic a place can be it’s what suits this place the best. Ordered 6 samosas as they are famous for. Absolutely rubbish samosas. Uncooked and soggy. Order taker was totally rude she went in and handpicked probably the bad ones or may be that’s how they treat every customer. Wasted 1 hour for this horrible experience where everything was disposed off as totally waste of time and money.
Quality and taste of food is amazing, they just need to improve their customer service
Amazing samosas (veg and meat)! Affordable prices. It gets very busy often times but its well worth the wait. The desserts (Indian sweets) are pretty good as well.
Best samosas in whole of GTA. The sweets are okay types, but the samosas are too die for. Always have them with their special red sauce.
Fresh all the time & tasty all the variety of food stuffs
Never have I ever eaten samosas with real potato cubes and whole vegetables! And theyre hand-made, like someone actually folded these parcels of joy and then baked them and fried them to crisp perfection. A-1 is the bentley of samosas and sweets, forget all those other samosa places using food prep machines in brampton or sauga or the t-dot. This place is worth the drive.
Very poor customer service had to wait a lot should increase man power all the more quality has been detonated and price increased
The best place for samosas! I love the way it’s double fried. Would definitely recommend this place.
The samosas are made different here .Not the greasy ones sold everywhere else. Choice of vegetarian, beef and chicken.Lots of Indian sweets in display cabinets.Would purchase again.
The Samosas are great but service is lacking!!! I ordered Ras Mali on 2 separate occasions and all were spoiled. While they did refund my money its unacceptable during COVID-19 to serve spoiled food items.
Ordered 10 roti’s and 2 small dal containers and paid 34.50$ even dal wasn’t that good as they charged only one thing i like from you guys it’s samosa’s only
Always long lineups that means that it's a great samosa every single time fresh the only thing that I suspect it's so delicious because there is some MSG in them but neither less I recommended place
They will tell you to pickup the order at certain time but will never start making that order unless you are there. Always wasting time.
Very disappointed with the quality of food. I placed an order at 11:00 in the morning for take out to be ready at 6:30 pm. I’ve had the samosas here in the past and loved them so we decided to try other items on their menu. We ordered veggie samosas, paneer samosas, a paneer paratha, tandoori roti, chicken tikka masala, and gajar halwa. We decided to eat a few samosas on the way home but they were very cold and soggy. Once we got home and opened the rest of the food it got worse. The paneer paratha was as thick as a naan and undercooked. Each of the tandoori roti was charred on one side, so much that we could not eat it. The chicken tikka masala was not bad, but we didn’t have any roti to eat it with. The gajar halwa was the warmest of everything and was quite good - that’s the reason for the two stars.
Veg Samosa are wonderful
The line doesn't move fast! If they know people are waiting 20-25 minutes in line then they should hire more people.
Samosas and sweets are always good although the lineup could be improved by having their team more organized and making a window to the kitchen instead of needing to open the door multiple times for each order
Best place for samosas. Great price and quality
Regular Samosa are nothing special I tasted better. There's no seasoning inside of them just plain i threw it out the window for the birds. But the panner was good nice and packed only with paneer but it was cold as the person had said. Pricey for the regular one it should be cheaper.
the samosas are are worth the drive, I tried the chicken, beef and the veggie ones and they are all great, the sauce is a perfect balance. You can't beat the value for money for the quality you get
The second star is for their taste else won’t give a single star. Extremely slow service. I always go to different restaurants and when they don’t care about your time value I’m unable to hold it. I waited in the line for almost 20 mins just to place my order.
I like chicken samosas, vegetables samosas, spicy chilli pakora and vegetables pakora they have many more item I will try later, it is not very expensive
Got small order of veg and paneer samosas. Both were mediocre, too greasy, and not that tasty.
Bad service and careless staff they don’t know what they are serving and chicken samosa is too salty
Their busy but if you want good quality and good food, you shouldn't have a problem waiting.
Used to have an amazing Samosa till they undid the process fresh frying of Samosa...kindly make the crust thin again like earlier one's.... The chutney too needs to be worked on....
Absolutely no Canadian customer service skills with staff. They are more focused on large take out orders. If u are picking something quick, it's 45 mins wait in line. And they don't have enough staff on weekends either.
Amazing samosas that caters to all spice levels. Must try them with the sauce provided. CHEESE pakoras are another must have dont miss them.
It's best place in GTA to get Indian food specially for samosas and other snacks but sometimes they are short on staff
Trust me you've never had samosas like these before. Hands down the best I've ever had! Will be back next time I'm in the area.
Tried chicken, paneer samosa. Loved it. Way too busy
Best samosas in the GTA
Food is very good specially 'Samosa'. Service is ok.
Good but expensive then others
Best samosa on the planet, best sauce anywhere. Polite staff, worth going out of our way
The best veggie samosas in Western GTA. High turnover means constantly fresh samosas.
I go over there to get samosas, those I knew were yummy but I got their namak para, believe me it is the best snack in gta.
Best samosas!
Best vegetable Samosas in the GTA.
I bought 2 dozen today and found human hair inside bag
I ordered tikki channa they gave me cold tikki littereally little hard to break it and they put all the spicy sauce on one side nd the sweet on the other instead of spreading it properly... i wont recomend it for small orders
Great food and fast and friendly service. Clean and well organized. Worth the drive out.
Visiting for years, and still the same good taste for all food items that I have ever tried here.
Best Samosa’s in Canada and I’m just going to stop there because it really doesn’t get better!
Poor service Order takes to much time Workers can spend their whole break in waiting line Please hire new staff to speed up
These guys were really rude to me and they gave me samosas that were not fresh. These were completely disapointing, i won't recommend them to anyone.
Poor food quality. Zero customer handling. Receptionist a BIG ZERO.
Highly recommend! Such gorgeous staff and service! Following Covid-19 rules and regulations! I mean who doesn’t want to be safe and have the tastiest treats ever!! Thank you guys❤️
Very poor catering, Didn't expect this kind of worst cooking, can't recommend to any one. Only Samosa were good.
Unacceptable customer service. Placed a order over phone and drove 40 mins. At the time I reached there they said we don’t take phone orders and we don’t have your order. Like, you should have told it before hand over the phone rather than saying it will be ready for you when you come there. Instead of accepting there mistake by keeping the order aside they started arguing and fighting over. Wish could give zero ⭐️.
We ordered bread pakora but the taste was not good. Please improve your cooking skills, Bread was not properly cooked. Hope In Future you guy’s would be improve. ????????
Good food but very unprofessional and rude customer service
Highly recommended. If you want to enjoy fresh samosas that too with reasonable prices. A must visit place.
Great tasting samosas. Always busy but worth it.
So.. once you have have their samosas.. you become a convert..on the border line of addict. Just solid food done right .. almost the best vegetarian samosa in the city.
This place is good for Samosa the only thing disturbing was the girl at the front was doing everything collecting money and putting samosa in the bags with nylon Glove on it was so busy she had no option but to take money and put samosa in the bag with the same glove.
It's very rare to find a samosa with meat in it. And as a bonus, they're delcious.
A-One samosas are the best in town! They are freshly-made, tasty and packed with filling. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. My friends and neighbours love them too! Also do try the Indian sweets; they are …
Veggie samosas were excellent. Took one star out as they ran out of green chutney that day ! I think they should have compensated me with something because of that , maybe with a rasgulla ????
Went to get some samosas and was not disappointed. I tried 4 flavors (chicken, beef, potato and cheese). Lots of flavour and they gave me lots of sauce. I would definitely go back for more and purchase again. Their front store also has lots of Indian sweets to try and purchase. They also have a hot table to order lunch/dinner and have a good meal
Appreciate the taste of food but they should work on the number of employees present at front counter. It is not fair for the customers and for the employees that one person is doing the billing and taking care of the customers and packing up the food they should value the time off the customers.
Samosas are amazing here. Highly recommend them.
They took more than an hour to complete your order. And said sorry. Staff is very rude and unprofessional. Not worth your time.
Excellent samosas. Don't forget the chutney
Good food but need to have better management in taking orders. They could have token system to save customers time in taking and getting the orders ready.
Samosa's are top tier here. The key is in the flaky consistency of the pastry -They have it done just right. Veggie samosas are on point, they sell a lot of these so they are usually piping hot. Tried their meat samosa's, usually this is a miss in most spots, this is not the case here. The only recommendation would be to ask them to heat it up before serving it. Tried their chicken Biryani, not a fan. I'd pass on it. Went there with friends for lunch, there are 5 barstools and no tables. Lunch for 3 cost us $23, very economical.
Drove 19 km as had a craving for samosas. The line to the door told me we were in the right place. Grease soaked bag was first sign of potential greatness. Second was the light flaky pastry/dough, not heavy. Third was the delicious filling. They had vegetable, chicken or beef samosas. All were flavourful with only a hint of curry, not overpowering. Couldn't give a higher rating as place had no signage with names and prices plus they forgot to give us sauce for the samosas.
I was order chana bhatra on call at 4:15 I arrived here at 5:00 still I have wait 10 to 15 minutes
Good food and clean facility
LOVE LOVE LOVE their samosas!!!!! Whenever I’m craving samosas I go to their location, best in town.
Samoa is good but the staff is not... When I asked the name of sweet which is new to me the lady over there maybe she was a supervisor she replied me in a very rude way. I like that shop but the reason m giving one star is the way she spoke. I never go there again for my insult.
Poor customer service. Very short staffed..doesn't even let customer finish there order on phone and hang up on you. Even if you order on phone you still have to wait in Line .
This is my first time trying samosas from you guys. I went through google reviews and it did not disappoint me. I purchased 80 veg samosas and they were appreciated by every individual who ate them. I glad to find this place as it would be my go to place to buy in bulk for special occasions.
Been there Saturday and waiting half an hour in line in cold weather. Ty should expand their facilities and staff. To serve more people .
Samosa is great but the line up to buy takes forever. Only 1 person at the counter.
They have very delicious samosa’s which is very yummy and couldn’t find anywhere else. They are very busy and staff is very nice !
Was there today, very slow service and they missed to pack the jalebis in my order eventhough i paid for it.
Service is pathetic. They don't care how long the customer waits. 35-45 minutes wait just to pick up the order... And they won't take your order on the phone either. If you have nothing to do then pick up food here... Best way to kill time.
We just had worst chat papdee of our life, very much disappointed ????. They are only good for samosas.Dont try for anything for anything else. Now I am worried about sweets boxes which I took for my friends in the past. This time samosas are very cold. Its sad they are only think of making money not providing quality food.
Terrible customer service and rude staff????. They don’t know how to treat the customers.
Love their samosas, but they r very slow in customer service.
Just found out that A-1 Catering ONLY serves HALAL meat. Something that they only disclose in small lettering that you will only notice if you are watching their ads in the store. They've just lost my business.
Simply the best samosas in Toronto. We travel from milton to get their samosas
Very good samosas, the service is slow
Amazing samosas and enjoyed the sweets. Unfortunately there are some extremely rude people there.. Lousy service and slow service..
Best samosas and sweets. Haven't tried any of their other food, but smelling the Biryani was enough to drop 5 stars.
Drove from far to eat samosa which used to be best here but now only oily looks like double fried.
Customer service is horrendous! I pre-ordered but still had to line up with everyone ordering. When I got to the front of the line, I had to wait another 15 minutes for my order. I specifically said 4:00 PM and got there on time. I did not get out of there until an hour after. I also specifically asked for a certain chutney when I ordered but I was told there wasn't any because they did not have time to make it. No apologies whatsoever.
Canceled my doordash order after 35 mins… and no reason or nothing was provided. Only reason it’s a 2 star cuz the first time I ordered from here the samosas we’re decent
Very delecious samosas. We tried paneer, beef and veggie samosas and loved them all.
Very good samosa
Disappointed and Overpriced
The food I ordered was ready in time and it was amazingly delicious specially the samosas.
I ordered channa bhutura and it taste so bland. Channe had no spice no flavor looks like simply throw chick peas in red water. Bhaturas were full of oil, seems like 1 day old and fried again. Salad was old for sure. Lettuce amd Cucumber were of brown color. Packing was too bad too. Gravy of channe floating in salad.
Past 3 times Sweets are very dry. Since renovation quality of sweets have dropped significantly. I gave 3 trys just in case but same results. Lower turnover rate due to covid? I don't know. Please fix the problem!!!!!
Great samosas but always busy with lineups and very less parking
OMG! the Veggie samosas...if you like authentic Indian samosas try this place out.
The veggie samosas and pakoras are unbeatable across the GTA but customer service (on the phone and in person) is far from A-one. Go for the food if you can stomach the (lack of) service.
Best samosaa in brampton
Fresh and tasty Samosa...veggie and meat. Service is slow though. Take out only. They also have a hot table and some sweets, but haven't tried those yet.
A-1 Been always Number 1 as i m a regular client since last 20 yrs . Amazing , tasty , crispy samosa , good quality sweets and food l. The Owner& staff been always nice n polite. ????
Best samosas, good sweets and other food. Take out needs some work, order and arrive 20 mins later as requested and still wait in store for 25 mins while they make it
Aw man, this place is sooo gooood. The samosas are a bit more expensive than other places but its totally worth it.
Best samosas and great service!
Too much lineup outside and there is only one girl to serve the customers...it wastes the time of people alot????????????????
Samosas are always fresh but they are on the expensive side. Otherwise good place and good service.
English samosas (veggie & chicken). Good variety of North Indian sweets. They also serve ready to eat food. Party platter of rice dishes or side dishes are reasonably priced
Terrible service Receptionist has no sense of talking. She has no respect for the customers.
Its the best samosa in town. Best tasteing
If you haven't tried the samosa ' s - what are you waiting for. They are the "BEST" The Diwali sweets - first class. Love the Jelebi's perfect wirh a cup of tea. According to my husband - try all the sweets.
Went for samosas based on the reviews. They were just average at best and more expensive than anyone else in GTA. $0.75 for 1 Samosa. Try sweet Mahal for better samosas
Best samosas in town! Fast and friendly service where you can call ahead and place an order for pickup. Samosas were fresh and made ready to order, would definitely order again.
Best place to get Samosas and Laddu, gulabjamun. Different types of sweets, pakora and veg thali (rice, paneer, daal, sabji, chana..etc) are available. Best to take away. Small place, not for group. Parking is available. It's closed at 7pm.
Some of the best samosas around! Highly recommended
Best samosas in Mississauga! Can't believe it took me so long to discover this place. Wish I had known about it years ago!
The best samosas in GTA ..... always fresh with polite and professional staff...
I haven’t had a Samosa that can beat theirs in taste. Crispy, neat and tasty. Keep it up.
the best Samosa you can buy. I love this place.
The samosa are strictly ok, not praiseworthy at all, it lacks flavour. Same with the pakora, there's more chickpea flour than good taste.
I had 3 chaats from this place, and it was the worst chaat ever in my life. The chaat was full of uncooked potatoes, green pees and instead of papdi they put pieces of samosa in it. The worst part when i tried to call them to give feedback they didn’t accepted and said it is chaat papdi only as if i had never eaten it. They denied it completely and What funny was she said that they are closing so eat it this time, i mean we paid for it and are we animals that we will eat anything????? Never gonna visit this place ever again If google had 0 stars i could have given that
Hands down best samosa I've ever had. 1 samosa is enough for 3 or 4 of the others and quality is unmatched. Owner was very friendly overall will never go for samosa unless its here. Amazing!
Quality is excellent...but service is very poor...very long waiting time☹️☹️
There is a really twisted pizza I ever had in Brampton . Must visit at least once. Try Bombay Garlic pizza twist . Even the staff is very friendly and polite. ???????????????????????? Thanks Chicago’s pizza twist team!
Their samosa's are the best I have ever eaten. They offer veg - potato or paneer (unaged, doesn't melt firm cheese), chicken and beef, all of which are excellent!! Comes along with two sauces. They also offer a variety of Indian sweets, biriyani however haven't bought any so sorry to say this rating is for the samosas. Keep going back whenever I can. No complaints about the customer service as I have always been treated well. There's always a line up so the staff don't have time for idle chit chat.
Samosas were so good. The service on the other hand was less than personable. Would be nice to be able to ask questions without getting looked at like you're an idiot.
Fantastic variety of samosas veg, chicken, beef they have lots of variety with indian sweets as well. Good place to get rid of your sweets and samosa craving....but give yourself time because they are usually very busy getting your order can take time.
Except for the crust the chicken samosas were the worst I've ever had anywhere. Even when you say bland it refers to a taste. This was tasteless. Do they not taste their product before using it? All chefs do
Samosa very oily and very very expensive
I always prefer this restaurant but this time I’m disappointed there was hair in paneer pakora.
We would agree with it was voted the best place for samosas in GTA. Veggie samosas were prepared fresh daily. Paneer and meat samosas were quite good but not as good as veggies ones. We tried gulab jamun and Rasmalai were delicious and hit the spot. We will be back again when in the area for more veggie samosas.
I bought samosas today . I noticed shell has changed. It is not same as before. I tried it after long time. Shell used to be thin and crispy and different from everyone. Whenever I go near the shop , I always bought samosa. But change of shell does not give me temptations to buy A- one Samosa anymore.
Definitely the best Samosas and Sweets in Brampton and Mississauga. I still remember the taste of the chicken and beef samosas which I 5 years ago
Their samosas srd getting expensive the chutney they serve is very little n the customer service is not good.
Low rating because I was the 2nd person when it opened instead of getting our orders They setup the rest of the store waited 20 mins before being served trying another establishment going forward. Food is good just the slowness of staff has lot to be desired
Samosa's very good . The place looks clean all sweets covered . However I had a bad experience early morning at 8:30am . Opening hours at 8:30am . This means they are ready to serve customers. When I went in to put order for 24 samosas the lady said not ready yet and in a bad attitude she said she has so much work to do . She was filling the trays with the weet without wearing gloves and there cover the trays with nylon cover to look clean . I mentioned to her I am in hurry have to drive long way yet still she made me wait for 20 minutes . This is not a good cuter service especially when you announce the tore open at 8:30am the means everything is ready for the customers . I will not go there again . Sorry . That lady has to change her habits wear cloves and respect the customers . Thank you
Everything taste great only thing is long wait time there, been to much busier shops but never had to wait for such long times and that too every time you visit there, I think they need to hire staff for taking orders and packing!! Only reason for one less star
Would be 5 stars if the line was shorter
There have the best English Style Somasa's in Ontario and Canada.
Vegetable samosas had potato filling only, no carrots or peas..very misleading
Food is good but the staff really need to know how to deal with customers, not all but yes few for sure.
Amazing vegetarian Samosas and Pakoras. Heading back today to get more and to share.
Delicious samosas but the servers could use some training on how to be more friendly and welcoming to customers.
Best always!! Freshest food!! Like no other place in town!! Just go there!!
Best samosa. Especially for an office environment with multiple ethnicities. Nice and crunchy
The staff was super slow..Even in busy times, only one or two people at front desk..Even they are rarely attending customers....They are busy arranging stuff from back store..If you are in no hurry, then go there to get slow service....
The customer service is pathetic. ESP the girls at the front desk/cash are abrasive, rude, utterly unprofessional. It reminds that we are in a 3rd world country not in a courteous country like Canada. And they don’t have name tags. Otherwise I would have shared. Another example of unprofessionalism.
Fantastic samosa! Unbeatable
Worst samosa.. they were like frozen samosas not at all fresh and tea was so bad.. worst experience.. Disappointed!!
Get samosas. dont get rasmalai (not fresh, they know it and we knew it). Anyways, best UK style samosas I have eaten.
Very average samosa and Paneer pakora. This is not close to how the authentic samosa would taste like. They have toned down the flavours and spices to cater to wider customer base.
Chicken and veg samosas really good, Sweets very good. Disappointed with the stuffed peppers. Coming back next chance I get.
