It was very busy earlier in the night when we stopped by to use the bathroom m, but by the time we went back around 9 pm it was almost empty. Everyone's food looked great, but my suggestion is to steer clear of the Chinese Food A La Carte. It tasted like it was the leftovers from the buffet (they have a dinner buffet but it was over by the time we arrived). Still, value for price was good. Their pastas werea big hit amongst our group of 10 people, as were the sandwiches. So all in all, a decent family restaurant with decent prices and BIG portion sizes.

Pleasant little restaurant in downtown Matane. We came for breakfast and filled our stomach. It’s a busy spot for locals in the morning so come early or expect a wait. The only issue we had was having to wait a really really long time to get refills on coffee.

We took the seafood platter, it tasted amazing. Very good portions ( we barely ate a sandwich during the day, service was friendly. Price was very affordable to what we got to eat. I am not sure about the other plates, but the seafood is a go to. Will come back!

I am so disappointed. We ordered take out and waited for more than an hour for grilled cheese sandwiches as we were travelling back home. Others were served before us. Felt like we were treated differently. We made them check three times for our order. Eventually when we got our food, not all the sandwiches were grilled, they took toast, slice of cheese and cold tomatoes. It is not a good way to end of vacation. We now had to drive through a fast food place to get a meal. Really disappointing.
