I always get our perogies from here. I don't stray far from the cheese/potato variety but they are delicious and a large size so well worth the money. I love the fact that you can see the staff in the back making the perogies by hand. Always happy to support a small, locally owned, family business.

Been around for years and still awesome. Perogys and Perisky are packed with more filling then most and VERY tastey. It's a little store front and not meant for sit down but does have takeout options (attached recent takeout menu). There is also a more complete counter menu of packaged foods.

Cabbage rolls and potato and onion perogy were great. Cheddar perogy was enjoyable but not as good as the onion. Always happy with the quality and service. Pricing isn't bad for the quality either

Based on only one visit (so far) this is a great place to take out fresh or frozen perogies and other Ukrainian specialties! The fresh cottage cheese perogies were almost like my Oma used to make! If they served boiled/fried perogies to go I’d give them six stars if it were possible! The “Deli & Take Out Service” menu (photo added) includes more than a dozen kinds of perogies, cabbage rolls, perishky, pelmenies, and much more.

I've only bought frozen perogies, but IMO they are the best in town. For me a good perogie means thin dough and flavour without too much salt. Also the variety and authenticity is incredible! Going there again this weekend and my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

I have been a patron for many, many years now and I have always been very happy with their service and their food items. Great Perogies and always fresh. Staff is always attentive, (although I must say that they are VERY serious, just like the people back in Ukraine are, so perhaps Winnipeg people who do not understand the culture might not find the owner's as "friendly" and out-going as other Winnipeg businesses. No need to judge, this is just typical of hard working Ukrainians - very serious). Love this store and will continue to be a loyal customer! 5-stars!

My mom made the best perogies, but the perogies here are pretty close and i have tried many places. I always get the sauerkraut perogies and cottage cheese perogies, but the potatoes and cheese perogies are good as well. I do really like their rice cabbage rolls (you don't get much meat at all in the other type of cabbage rolls), but around the HOLIDAYS you have to order them well in advance or they will be sold out. I will have to try their borscht and other items on the menu. I highly recommend Mom's Perogy Factory. They are opened intil 5pm except for Saturday they are opened to 4pm, closed Monday's and Sunday's, and call first to check before driving there on certain holidays. Avoid the lunch hour as the kids from school invade the place. Staff are not so friendly at times, but do great work.

Delicious perogies in a variety of flavours. Ours favourites are sauerkraut with potato, sauerkraut, and cheddar. Very close to what my Mom used to make. Sauerkraut perishky are also really good. We have tried a few other places in the area and these are definitely the best.
