I am new to poutine and I really enjoyed it here. The smoked meat was not quite what I expected since I am used smoked BBQ in the US. Overall this place had the local flavor and friendly staff I was looking for. Cash only by the way.

If this poutine is the best around then Magog is in trouble. Mediocre poutine at best, gravy tastes like it came straight from a cheap bulk can of gravy, smoked meat clearly came directly from a can, was barely warm. The inside and workers are nice, but that's not relevant when I just want some good poutine. Didn't get it here unfortunately.

2 stars because the service is friendly but I went specifically for poutine with smoked meat and while the smoked meat was good the poutine wasn't good - soggy fries, salty gravy and rubbery/chewy cheese curds. Do yourselves a favor and go to Resto du village - it's the best poutine I've had and I've tried them on several visits while traveling through different parts of Quebec.

Very nice service. Friendly. You feel welcomed and are greeted with a smile and enthusiasm. Food is very good and well priced. Doesn't look like much to the eye but fudge that... it's worth a stop. Mium mium.

Very wonderful service, the ladies behind the counter are really welcoming. The prices are very good! I had the smoked meat poutine. Fries are very delicious on their own. The gravy is not too salty at all and tastes like an above average gravy. The cheese curbs are typical curbs. The best part is the smoked meat. Very well seasoned and the tenderness is the meat is exquisite . You’ll be wanting more as soon as you finish your plate. I highly recommend for any poutine lovers however, their menu offers other amazing goodies too.

The Poutine was very good, and exactly as you'd hope for. The biggest issue right now was the construction outside that has the road closed so detours were necessary to get here. But the store is nice.

This is an old-school-greasy-spoon-diner and good for what it is - quebec style fast food. A basic and modest, small town style restaurant best to take-out. No AC and open kitchen with not enough ventilation for a small space. Would come back for a quick snack of fries and a hot dog.

The way the handle the covid logistics is so nice, they flow and you spend as much as 7 minutes por your order. They are good, cheap, and quick. Smoked brisket sandwich delicious, double hamburger with fries is more than a perfect combo and don't forget to grab a hotdog just for a snack

Hands down on the best poutines I had in Quebec! This mama and papa corner offers the real deal!. Poutine is delicious, the real deal, yet (relatively of course) light! I guess the secret is in the gravy and the frying oil! The service is very attentive, the lady on the counter is always smiling and you will get your food in a few minutes. My advice is to skip sandwiches and focus on meat poutine! Of course, it is a bit on the expensive side, this is the most touristic street in a touristic city!

Ate there today and had to write a review. Exactly what you want in a canteen. Ordered 2 double burger trios. Came out to a bit over $20 (before tip). Cheaper than 2 MacDonald's trios and 100 times better. Great burger and great fries and slaw. Very friendly staff. A great end to the day after a morning of kayaking. Will definitely return next time I'm in Magog .

Well where do I start.... After reading the amazing reviews on this place, I am very very disappointed to say the least. We ordered a smoke meat sandwich but it turned out to be a lesser quality of pastrami. We also ordered steamies and didn't get them dressed the way we wanted. The coleslaw wasn't coleslaw but just cut up pieces of raw cabbage with no condiments in it. The only good part were the fries. The price is not cheap either for what u get. Some things in life u just have to experience for yourself and not read too much into the reviews. Hopefully we will get better luck tonight for dinner.
