Only popped in for a coffee and a pastry, but the place smelled so dang delicious! The staff were super friendly and easy to serve, and the customer service not only for myself but for everyone that called in and walked in was amazing. The coffee was fantastic, especially considering it was drip coffee - almost as good as a latte at a fancy café, in my humble opinion. I had an apple strudel pastry that was good, and both came to less than $5. Definitely will return! I want to try the cabbage rolls, pierogi, chicken souvlaki, and pretty much everything on their menu.

Went there last week, gad the chicken ceaser wrap, menu says customers love it, well I was extremely disappointed. There was not much in it. Very little chicken, barely any at all underneath the dry ceaser salad. The pea soup was good and hot but had chicken in it when expected ham. I will stick to my other go to places in the park for their chicken ceaser wraps which are full and delicious and less in price. I heard it was hit or miss at Janinas, mine was def a miss.

What a great little restaurant! The staff treat you like family, and they're always serving up delicious daily specials. The cabbage rolls are what put them on the map, but I'm personally a fan of the Polish meatballs.

Great little lunch cafe near my office. Specializes in Polish food. Great lunches with good sized portions and very reasonable prices. Exceptionally friendly and courteous staff. Favourites for me are Mac & Cheese, Sambro Haddock, fish chowder, goulash.

Bought an oatcake, it was extremely stale and I couldn't finish eating it. I let the staff know and they did nothing. Their baked goods are not fresh. I can't speak for the rest of their food.

Tried this place today - was hoping it would live up to the great reviews but sadly I was disappointed. I typically will order something basic when I try a new place like the chicken club wrap to test if the easiest things can be done well. The chicken club had all the usual components (chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese) but all the ingredients were sub-par. The "mayo" was not real mayo but a salad dressing product, the cheese was flavourless shredded mozza, the chicken was kept in a bath of water so it was salty and wet and was clearly a pre-processed product. It was presented on a pita which was fresh. I am sure they do some nice things here, but this wasn't it and I won't be back to find out what those offerings might be as I don't want to waste my money again.

Discussed. Look at my raw chicken they served me. I wouldn't recommend it to my worse enemy. Gross. They offered me my mo ey back I said forget it and walked out. What a joke.
