They have always come through with great food and great service They recently catered two events over a weekend for us and both events had delicious food and went off without a hitch. Austin only employs first rate people who are honest, trustworthy, and very good at preparing food, serving food and cleaning up. Almost 3 weeks out from our wedding and everyone still cannot stop talking about the food. From the moment we contacted the Cook Shack about scheduling a tasting we knew there was something different about this company. They make you feel like you are part of their Cook Shack family from the moment of first contact until the last bit of food is packed away. Throughout the process the Cook Shack sends your personalized notes and they are always available with any questions you may have regarding catering and beyond. At our tasting we were paired with another couple who tried a menu completely different from ours. I do not think there is ANYTHING the Cook Shack cannot cook. The Grilled Potato Salad and Biscuit Bar were a huge hit. We were blown away when they brought over a table with all our appetizer choices, drinks for the bridal party, and covered it with a table cloth during pictures. The excellent service continued throughout the night we never had to ask for anything, were brought our meals, had to go boxes packed for us, and they even sent my parents home with large platters of food. Our guest all commented on how there was impeccable service and food through the night. There was not a cup empty nor a belly not full.

Cook Shack was a wonderful vendor to work and provided excellent food and catering service for our Wedding day. Our guests stated it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had - including appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. They even provided a wonderfully cute and decorated dessert truck/cart that tied the whole night together. We worked with Tracey to schedule everything who was organized and responsive. Cook Shack was PHENOMENAL! We found them through the recommendations of our Wedding Coordinator, and upon reaching out was impressed by their options, pricing, responsiveness, and customer service! From the start Tracey was so so friendly! We (at the time) lived 3 hours away and they accommodated us for a private tasting for our big day. When we arrived, we had no idea what we were in for - imagine the best food ever.... and then triple that! Austin and his assistant were so wonderful - it was like we were dining with old friends! We left a bit later and were in a food coma of deliciousness! We didn't even have to try out any other catering company - we knew Cook Shack had to be the ones to handle our big day. We ended up moving out of state during the engagement, and throughout my many questions, they were very responsive and kind - and believe me I ask a LOT of questions. On our big day, they were even better than imagined. People have been raving about the food since social hour. They brought us our food and made us to go plates - which we ate as soon as we reached the hotel. Their staff was polite and delightful to us and all of our guests. We also loved the option of having them donate the leftovers to homeless shelters. If you are in between on catering companies for your big event - look no further! They are SO WORTH IT! Cook Shack did a wonderful job of catering a post-funeral luncheon on very short notice. We called them on Monday for a Friday event and they were able to handle the job. Today's date is May the 5th 2021 @ 7:17pm. I am here at Grand Marquise ball room attending one of close family friends wedding. Just came out after eating the food served tonight by Cook Shack LLC. Very disappointing quality. Let me tell their staff is super polite and nice. Service is very good but food ? Not sure if it is extremely random incident or my bad luck that piece of chicken I got was under cooked. To add to that sauted veggies I had my plate had yello squash which was bad tasting like not fresh at all being old and expired. My two stars surely go towards their serive and personel but quality of food itself needs to be checked even if it was random rare incident what if one among hundred gets sick because part of food is not cooked right or fresh. I am hoping that I will not get sick.

We are so happy that we chose Cook Shack as our wedding caterer. Their food, from the appetizers to the entrees, is incredibly delicious with large portions and affordable. Their staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They were kind enough to save us food from cocktail hour so that my husband and I could eat before entering the reception. They also sent us home from the wedding take out boxes so that we could eat that night in the hotel. Tracey was thorough and knowledgeable about our rental company and venue which made planning the reception a breeze. We highly recommend using this catering company.

Cook Shack catered our wedding earlier this month, and WOW!!! The hors d-oeuvres, food, lemonades, and assorted pies were amazing. They served us with the best ribeye steaks/rosemary chickens we've tasted in our lives, and don't even get me started about the sides. All of our guests were impressed and really enjoyed everything and everyone left full and happy :) (and that's saying a lot because we had 350+ people attend)! More importantly the Cook Shack team was AWESOME - so organized and on top of everything. Austin is the warmest person you'll ever meet and Tracey was such a pleasure to work with! For my 60th birthday my husband hired Cook Shack to cater the entire weekend for me and four of my best girlfriends. The whole process must have been foreign to him but with the help of Tracy and Austin he planned an unforgettable weekend. Every meal from dinner on Saturday night to the birthday cake finale on Monday night was outstanding. Austin and his assistant Lauren were friendly, courteous and professional and took care of everything from preparation to serving and cleaning up. Every meal was absolutely delicious, they were even able to create a vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free lasagna for my "special needs" friends! We're already planning to use Cook Shack again for our next house party at the lake!

I went to the tasting session with my brother and soon to be sister in law, can I say we each were blown away by the "samples" of food placed before us (although I said samples it was far from that). They provided food for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception in September of 2016. One of our guests commented that the food at the rehearsal dinner was the best she has ever had. I used Cook Shack Catering for my wedding and I am so glad that I did. It was so easy working with them. They worked with my budget and dietary restrictions. They let us come in for a tasting and the amount of food there was incredible! The most I’ve seen at a tasting, ever. It wasn’t the food you would get from Costco and pop in the oven, as I’ve unfortunately experienced. The food was absolutely amazing, and although my wedding was August 2018 and my guests STILL talk about it! We used them for our bartenders as well and we were able to customize our signature drinks and they did a great job serving our guests. Our guests were happy and their drinks are full and it made for a great night. Austin and his team are so personable and they take pride in their work. They are truly one of a kind.

We hired Cook Shack for our wedding on June 1st and they were amazing! When we were first looking for a Caterer, we knew we wanted them the minute we left the tasting. Unlike most "tastings" from Caterers, they cooked us an entire meal of the items we wanted to taste. They even sent us home with leftovers! They really made us feel welcome in their kitchen. Leading up to the wedding day, they helped with some last minute changes/additions (we added a cheese display and a water station for guests outside due to the hot weather) and they were extremely accommodating. The day of, our guests were raving about the food! Especially the Mac & Cheese. Cook Shack allowed us to combine all of our favorite southern food along with our love of Mexican food. Who would have thought that would be possible?! Austin made sure my husband and I ate too. The minute we sat down at our table, he came over and asked us what we would like to eat. We said everything and he brought over plates full of a little bit of everything! I'm so thankful for that. They are professional, friendly and know how to cook a darn good meal. I highly suggest hiring them not just for a wedding, but for any catering event you could possibly need! I know I will.

Cook Shack was a recommendation from a co-worker whose family used them for a special event. She brought in some Chicken from their event and it was so tender and delicious. We had Cook Shack Catering for our Wedding. The customer service was top notch, very simple to work with to set up the order for the wedding. On the wedding day the staff and food was amazing. A plat of food was made for me and my husband, but that's not all they came and got us to make sure we ate then capped off our drinks. Everyone was so friendly and I would book them 100 times over again. At the end of the night, we got in the limo to find a gift basket full of goodies - I won't spoil the surprise if you have booked them! It was a PERFECT cap to the night. THEN we got home and found a basket with T-Shirts, sauce, and spices. Customer service taken to the top level. I was very impressed - thank you for making my wedding so special!

I cannot rave enough about Cook Shack Catering! From our first tasting to the wedding day, my husband and I dreamt about the food. They catered my 120 person wedding with a sit-down meal. The food was absolutely phenomenal- the garlic chicken was a big hit and the steak was cooked to absolute perfection. Our guests are still talking about it weeks later! Austin and his team were the most professional in their table service and Tracy was always so prompt in responding to any questions I had throughout the planning process. All I can say is wow! They catered a wedding I attended last night at The Oaks at Salem in Apex. A great place to have a wedding. The menu was stuffed chicken breast (juicy), pull pork barbecue (some of the best I ever had), awesome cole slaw (my wife would love the recipe), macaroni and cheese (to die for), green beans, salad, baked apples.. and some other great stuff. It was a pretty big event and we were the last table to get our food. It was set up buffet style. The food was hot and fresh. We were blown away with Cook Shack from start to finish! Not only were they understanding and flexible with us when we needed to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19, but their attention to detail throughout our reception was amazing. The food is amazing and plentiful, and they make sure you as a couple get to enjoy the food on your big day as well. The staff even packaged up hors d’oeuvres from our cocktail hour for us to take on our transportation with us as we took our wedding party photos after the ceremony! We especially loved that they packaged up two meals (along with a very kind wedding gift) for us to share at home together once the party was over! Anyone in the area getting married should put reaching out to Cook Shack at the top of their to-do list. They are hands down one of our favorite wedding vendors and the reason we have received so many compliments from guests!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with CookShack!! From the moment my now husband and I attended a tasting with CS, we fell in love. Their food is amazing! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Beyond just serving up delicious food (have I mentioned it was delicious?) the staff is very helpful, responsive and a joy to work with. On the day of they made sure my husband and I were well fed, and even gave us our own to-go containers afterwards.
