The salads from the salad bar were tasty and fresh, the veal cutlet was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the baked potato with lots of butter and sour cream, the fresh yellow and green beans were good with yummy cherry cheesecake for dessert. Our waitress was cheery and served us well. I hope to return as it was my first time there.

Went for the Sunday dinner buffet. Nothing was warm, except the cottage cheese. Roast beef was very very rare. No one came to our table to clear the used plates. Won't be going back.

Came here for lunch today. As soon as i walked in i could see that the waiter and waitress were covered in sweat but still working away. Withing 5 minutes i was dripping sweat. Then the cooks came out of the kitchen for air and i felt so sorry for them :( they looked about ready to pass out.) I am extremly worried about the working conditions these poor employees are in. Then to boot as i was about to pay for my meal which was amazing , the owner of the restaurant came out and yelled at my two year old to shut up because my son yelled. When i said excuse me, he turned around like he didnt hear me. I am extremly insulted with the way we were treated by the owner as customer.

Family Diner with a salad bar and a bar room. This was our first time here and it was a very good experience. The wait staff was friendly, effective and knowledge. The food was yummy. My friend had the chef's special with the salsa bar and she said it was excellent. I had the greek chicken souvlaki with a Greek salad and it was also very good. The dessert that came with the special was coconut cream pie, it was ok but not great. Very gelatinous/jello-y as opposed to creamy. I didn't mind it, but my friend was disappointed. Pie aside, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again of looking for for a diner in the area.

Went for the breakfast buffet and was very happy with the selection. A good sized salad bar, pork, ham and back bacon, really good perogies and all the usual breakfast fair available. Go early for the freshest selection of course, no freshly prepared eggs do scrambled under the heat lamp is all you get but otherwise very good.

Came here for Sunday brunch with a couple people, we waited at the front door until we could find and empty table. We seated our self as per the sign at the door, waited about 10 mins yet still no one had even said hello to us. We had to walk to the counter to ask for service from a group or waitresses, we were told to go get our plates and even by the time we were half way done our first plate no one had came. We had to get the attention of our own waitress and this isn’t easy here because we tried a couple before one stopped. The food was what you’d expect for a $12.50 buffet which is nothing special but all I tried was decent overall. I’ll probably be back but probably bring Tim Horton’s so I don’t have to wait 20-25 mins for coffee...

My parents used to be regulars here (at least once a week or so), so I've been with them quite a few times for breakfast or dinner over the years. Years ago it was decent, but now I feel like everytime we go it gets a little worse. The quality has gone way WAY down - I don't think anything comes in fresh, everything has that prepackaged taste and texture, and they are constantly running out of menu items, and not because they are terribly busy - there are also less and less patrons everytime we go. Our last visit a week ago was the worst one yet, my parents finally said that's it, we're never coming back. Save your money and your taste buds and go elsewhere.

The staff is lovely, very friendly and prompt. I had never been charged for salad dressing at any restaurant I have ever been but here they charged me 0.75 for dressing. Strange, how would a person eat salad without the dressing LOL Also, I ordered a black decaf tea and was charged extra for a specialty tea. Since when did black tea become a specialty?? I gave one star for the staff. I was not impressed with the charges for those 2 items and it is by no means a high class place. Its a diner. Food was ok, no big deal, nothing impressive. Next time I will go somewhere the dressing is all a part of my meal with the salad

We went for a late lunch since we had to say goodbye to our son and family before they flew home. It wasn't busy at all but it was 3pm and the man that waited on us was very kind and advised us well of all the food we ordered and it was all so good. I ordered the fish & chips on senior menu which I am and he forgot the soup but brought it and I ate it after my dinner and still was hot and so good.

This place is a staple of my childhood. My dad and I would always stop in for the early breakfast special on our way to the market. There is one waitress in particular who is really exceptional. This place holds such a special spot in our hearts that we held our family breakfast here the day after our wedding. The food is definite comfort food, tasty and plentiful. It definitely is a little gem in London.

Came in for early breakfast on a Sunday and it took staff over 15 minutes to come get our order when there was only 20 people in the restaurant. In an hour we were never asked if we wanted refills on our coffee, no one bussed our plates and we had to go get our own mapple syrup which they left on a counter for us. This was the second terrible visit in a row. Used to love this place but now it's not worth going.

Did not fulfill catering order for Christmas party. We physically dropped off a deposit a month in advance for our office Christmas party to be catered with a hot breakfast. They informed us the morning of the party that they can't fulfill the order so we're S.O.L. for food and scrambling to Metro and M&Ms to make our own. I don't know if these guys have good food, but even if it's the best in town, it doesn't matter if they don't serve it to you. Don't trust these guys with your money.

I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap which came with fries and coleslaw and instead of fries I substituted a soup for an additional $2.. My wrap and coleslaw came first but no sign of my soup. My food was very good and very filling and when I was done my waitress cleared my dishes, I informed her they had forgot the soup which was fine as I was full already so I assumed they would take take that off my bill.. Bill comes $3 extra for the coleslaw which clearly states is included with fries with the meal.. I asked the question if someone ordered the meal and didn't want fries but still got the included coleslaw the meal would cost $3 extra?? Paying $3 more for not receiving something already included.. Reluctantly they took it off the bill and I'm not someone who typically complains but the fact my waitress and kitchen staff didn't understand the question left me asking "are you f-ing kidding me".. Aside from the staff in need of some math tutoring the food was quite good..

Went here for breakfast, I had Katie's special skillet and my girlfriend had the garden omelette with home fries, both dishes were so delicious and the food was made promptly. Our waitress, Carol was super sweet and accommodating with my substitutions for my skillet. All around amazing atmosphere and the new owners are making great progress with updating the look of the space and the quality of menu items. We will definitely be coming back, and would recommend to anyone!

old place ripped seats kind of dingy but half decent food. to explain I got food . the cheapest plain fRom frozen French fries fried fish as o but sort of wet. looked like a good salad bar but salad was rusty looking so passed on that. barely passable. waitress did not ask if we wanted something to drink and never came back so we only got water. waitress never came back after food was thrown at our table. this place needs help in all areas. most people there ordered breakfast at lunchtime. most meals overpriced at 10 to 13 per plate for what you get

Ok. So in my previous reviews I have mentioned that if they don't know how to serve tea, that this is an early indication that's not all they don't know to do. Teabag outside of the pot. Water not boiling hot. Result: tepid tea. We stopped by for lunch. My Mom had the halibut and chips. Frozen seasoned fries. Not fresh cut. Hate those seasoned fries. They were not crispy. Fish was very good. Coleslaw was ok. I had the chicken souvlaki. Frozen chicken breast grilled, then cut into cubes and put into two sticks. Side of something with a bit of cucumber in it. Definitely not tzatziki. No garlic, no dill, no little hit of ouzo. Sour cream? not Greek yogurt. The side salad and rice were okay. Portion sizes were good. Olivia the waitress was very friendly and efficient. 3 for lunch plus taxes & tip $58.

The worst experience I have ever had. My speg sauce was brown bottom of the bowl had water about a half inch thick. My company had fries dry as a popcorn fart and the gravy was orange????!!! Ohhhh and the waitress she was delightful!!! NOT. She is was unkind and we tried to make the best of it by being polite. Did not work. Worst 50 dollars I have ever spent.

Went there for Easter Dinner at 5:00pm they are open till 8:00pm wasn't much on the buffet.Asked the waitress when they were going to put more on the buffet she said they weren't going to.Worst stuffing I ever had.Most everything had been sitting there for a long time.New owners.The place went downhill.Wont be back.Should of known it was no good when there was only 3 cars in the parking lot at dinner time on Easter Sunday.????????????????

This place has really gone down hill since it changed owners. The serving sizes are much smaller while the prices have stayed the same or gone up. The club sandwich used to have real cheese on it, which has now been replaced with a nasty cheese slice. Our server came to drop off our food and we never saw her again even for a simple refill of water......then when I went to pay she never once stopped the extended conversation she was having to say thank you or have a nice day or even good bye. So sad, we used to love this place.

Decided to try the breakfast buffet for the first time. Drove across the city and to be honest, wasn't work the 15 minute drive. Although a busy little spot, wasn't sure who our server was. We were never offered a water or coffee refill which was frustrating in seeing as the food was so greacy and salty. The gravey and mashed were tasteless and the mac n cheese almost made me sick. It was mush. My kids ate olives, pickles and salad for $7.50. Dessert selection was more than disappointing. I assume from other reviews you're better ordering breakfast off the menu but for just shy of $50 for food we were less than impressed with, we won't be back.
