A surprise off-the-street breakfast/lunch restaurant specializing in soups and sandwiches, and daily specials ... but much more. Busy at peak time, but diligent welcoming staff. Two cosy rooms, one with a real fire during winter conditions. A nice character like no other. To be visited more than once.

Went here recently for the first time after hearing good things. For a first timer, things can be a bit confusing. Like where to pick things up, where to get fixings for your coffee, or where to leave your dishes. I had a deli meats sandwich combo with a cauliflower soup. The salami was sliced really thick. The rind from the salami was not removed before slicing, making it hard to chew. The cheese was also really thick. My sandwich was made in front of me by a staff member who did not wear gloves. (In the middle of a pandemic??) The soup was poured by a different staff member at the other end of the counter, where it was left before my sandwich was even wrapped up. When I finally sat down to eat my soup it was cold. The soup itself tasted burnt and was not served with a proper soup spoon.

They have great catering options for an office luncheon. The prices are very affordable and they can even deliver for a small fee. Their 'Cold Buffet' is always a hit in our office. The food is always so fresh and it tastes great! The potato salad and the butter tarts are the office favourites. Great food. Great value. Highly recommended.

Nooners is a great restaurant if you are looking to pick up some food and head back to work right away. they do have seating arrangements inside but normally I just grab my food and go. Nooners is without a doubt one of the best "cafeteria" style places downtown as the food is nothing crazy and the prices reflect it. I have had many good experiences at Nooners but I have had a few I was not a fan of. The food and menus can be inconsistent which causes worries over allergies but as long as you are strict about your order it should not be a problem. I will most likely return.

Grabbed a takeaway lunch here on a repeat visit. My usual go to is the Reuben which is always delicious and piled high. This time no Reuben on the menu, so opted for lasagna instead. Came with a small side of potato salad which was awesome. Lasagna was not as good as I hoped for and could have had more meat and cut. Taste was okay, but would not get again. There are a lots of different items I’d rather choose. So this visit was a 4, (barely) and not a 5. Will make sure I get a different item next time, it’s the first time I was disappointed. For a nice take home treat try the chocolate chip cookies. Crispy and just right. They are to die for, got a pack of 10 to share with the kids. 5 dollars is pricy but worth it!

I went into Nooners for the first time today and it was amazing. It was meant to be a quick, and easy food yet nothing that's unnecessarily "fast food". These guys make amazing, and delicious sandwiches. It was made with effort, and the soup tasted home-made. The dish was brought to me, theven employees were really courteous and professional. Breakfast, or lunch, I recommend this place for sure. Also roomy enough for few coworkers if it's during off-peak hours.

Great place for good homestyle cooking! Having a tough day at work? Need a little comfort food? This is the place for you! Don't be intimidated by the line. They keep it moving quickly! I can't even say I recommend one thing in particular because I've tried so many and all have been equally delicious! Give your tastebuds and soul a treat and take your lunch break at Nooners!

A couple of colleagues recommended Nooner's for lunch: I hadn't tried it before. I ordered one of their specials for the day: Quiche and Sweet Potato Soup. Their service was very quick and the staff were extremely friendly, even though it was the lunch rush. Their prices are beyond reasonable, the food was incredible, and the facility is kept very clean. I will definitely be returning!

My friend and I had a lovely lunch there today after attending church downtown. The beef stroganoff and salad were very good as was the tea and brownie. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are so nice.

I work downtown and go to Nooners a lot. I always order the same thing, a Chicken Feta with Poached Chicken and no bread, because I have a gluten allergy. And without fail everytime they will serve it to me with bread ontop. I tell them its for an allergy and they are always snarky and say "just pick it off". Today my salad came with bread and breaded chicken. The team at Nooners should slow down and work on getting orders correct, rather than pushing everyone through the line.

Fresh sandwiches, daily specials and friendly staff, this is one of my favorite places to enjoy a nice lunch either alone or for a business meeting. You can take your lunch to go or eat in on their outside patio or inside their dining area. You will never go wrong stopping at nooners for lunch.
