From the moment I walked in I knew this place was going to be good. I've been looking for a solid sub place to eat in town and this place hits all of the marks. This place has a high star rating for a reason, they have quality food. I ordered the Hook & Ladder which had smoked turkey and honey ham with melted Monterey jack cheese. I got everything which comes with it (fully loaded). It. Was. Amazing. The meat was stacked and vegetables were fresh. I can't wait to try their other subs, and hot sauces! They have a ton of them to add to your sandwich if you want. I docked one star for the price. It came to nearly $14 for an 8" sub, drink, and small chip bag. It's really expensive, but the sandwich was tastey enough to justify the price.

I can't tell you how great the sub sandwiches are at Firehouse! The beef brisket absolutely melts in your mouth. It's so good, that I can hardly bring myself to try any of their other subs. If you're tired of eating plain subs, then you absolutist must try Firehouse. Oh yeah, they also support local firehouses with regular donations of money and equipment. It doesn't get much better than that!

Friendly staff, greeted upon arrival. The food was fresh and the ingredients seemed to be higher quality than other food places. The quantity of the meat there was good too. They did however get our orders a bit wrong, they have a lackluster selection of sauces (although they have a lot of different hot sauces to put on yourself at the side) and I was a bit thrown off with not being able to see the sub being made (would have prevented the order from being wrong). Would go again, but not the best experience possible, a little more pricey than other sub places.

We loves the subs, its too bad the customer service from the evening staff is terrible and left us feeling unsatisfied with our most recent experience. Given how we were practically ignored, and how the staff left my husband and I, waiting 20 minutes for a hook while they were procuppied with talking about what they are all doing for the long weekend. They left our meat in the steamer for 10 minutes, just sitting because they were to busy socializing with one another. Its disheartening to say the least. Its funny, because we are the only customers in the building. Extremely rude

signs and prices are misleading (false advertising ). you see the picture behind the counter displaying a foot long sub and chips and drink for $7.99. but actually you have to pay an extra $3 to get the full size and another 4 to make it a combo. for two people it costs us little over $30 .which is too much comparing to subway. food is just like Quiznos. and I would expect them not to last as long as them. would not be back again.

I have been here a few times and it is always delicious. There is one drawback and that's the price, but everything is pricey nowadays, including fast-food. They have a good variety in their menu and it seems like most of there stuff is made in the store. It is a good alternative to the burgers and fries, it is satisfying and you're full when you're done. What else do you want!?

And that's not the most expensive one or a large or any extras... That's a bit out of control. Regular sub is about same size as a timmies sandwich. Large touch smaller then subway 12"

When you order a sub, you automatically get a salad with your order (all the toppings inevitably falling out of your sandwich). Lots of options for toppings. The "welcome to firehouse" anthem when you enter the store feels unnecessary. Expect a very long wait although staff is friendly.

Tried Firehouse Subs for the first time Tuesday evening... 36 hours and roughly 15 bowel movements later, the consistency of the contents of our guts has gone from lemonade with extra pulp, to scalding hot lava. 2 adults and a 4 yr old have been obliterating the toilet for nearly a day and a half at the cost of a little more than $40. HARD no for me ever eating here again.

I didn't know much about Firehouse Subs but I am really glad I gave it a shot. The subs were great, the staff that took your order was super helpful so you got what you wanted and the price was on par with the rest. Also the hot sauce station is super cool. WOW!!!! I have found my new sub restaurant!! This is a great sub shop. No comparison to Subway or Quiznos. As soon as you walk through the door the staff says "welcome to Firehouse", service was fast, took me a minute to put my order in but the staff answered all my questions, I had the Engineer Sub. The amount of meat you get is unreal. Great job Firehouse. I will be back.

Really really good food. Staff is friendly (although the team just off Wonderland near Rona is legit!). Business supports a good cause. Unfortunately price limits the review to a three star. I can't easily justify this at $38 for two standard sandwiches and two fountain drinks. The food and overall experience falls short, in all too familiar Quiznos fashion.

I think it's important to assess experiences, both positive and negative and then draw a conclusion. I have had both here, and my conclusion is that when mistakes have been made staff and management are very accommodating in rectifying and resolving the issues as quickly as possible. I will gladly continue to go here, as mistakes are few and far between, but as we are all humans - mistakes are bound to happen occasionally. This establishment does a great job taking care of their customers to ensure satisfaction.

Plenty of parking in the parking lot out front. We did takeout as they are not offering dine in at the moment. The food took a bit to prepare but it was worth the wait. Meatball sub is great. Engineer i think it was called...sub was not good...for some reason i thought with the prices it would be real turkey but no..its lunch meat turkey slices. It had mushrooms which i love but i thought theyd be fresh, they were canned. The texture and taste of lunchmeat turkey and canned mushroom is terrible. I got 3 subs 1 coke 1 chips. It was 47.00. Bit pricey. Id go back for the steak sub it was pretty good ill just have to be careful which meats i order i only like actual turkey like if they had cooked and sliced it in store like they do at abes subs. The staff at firehouse were very friendly.

Food is always amazing here. I often see the franchisee owner working behind the sub counter, just like a regular employee would. As someone who has worked in food service before, I really appreciate that the owner takes her business seriously. It's a little more pricey than most sub places, but for me it's worth it the extra few bucks. I've been to this place way too much and I have never been disappointed. I should add that sandwiches are probably my favourite food, so I would consider myself an expert as this point in my life (ha ha). Well done! As side from the great food, the place is always clean. They also have some pictures and info about the history of firefighting in London. The building where they are located was a former fire hall, and they have a little bit about the building and the history there too. As a Londoner, I thought this was a great touch.

Maybe I'm biased, but I came here on the strength of their American counterpart. The FHS in Kentucky was an event. So delicious and fun. Both restaurants were clean, busy and well organized. The selection is less here, the prices are higher and the sub was definitely not nearly as good. I got the brisket and let's just say it had a puddle of some yellow buttery like substance on the plate/basket when I was finished. Almost gagging by the time I was done. Not great.

Tasty subs but the lazy "welcome to firehouse" when you walk in the door is not needed when it is clear they are tired of saying it. We got our meal to go and the packaging is quite sturdy but unrecyclable. For the price, go to Quiznos or Subway.

Great subs and amazing butternut squash soup. You also get really good portions and they don't skimp on the fillings. Obviously a bit more expensive than your standard sub place, but these also aren't your standard subs.

I give firehouse Subs 5 stars, yes everyone has there own experience and there own opinion, I get it, yes Fire house is a bit more expensive then other sub places, yes, but let me tell you it is so worth it, the amount of of toppings and meat and sauce that is on the subs is perfect, I have firehouse over any other fast food joint out there, ill pay a little more, wait a little longer and enjoy the best Subs EVER!

A great sub place. Buns, meat and veggies are always fresh and the taste of the sub is always too notch. Love the way they serve it hot. The only real downside is that it is expensive, but the sandwiches are quite filling and better sized compared to their competition. "Welcome to Firehouse!"

The BEST of the chain sub shops at the moment IMO. Would be 5/5 except: - if they're so keen on community donations, how about they round DOWN my purchase instead of asking me to round UP? - the group "welcome to the firehouse" calls are depressingly unenthusiastic. I love a good "irrashaimase!" but at the Firehouse it routinely sounds like everyone just had to put their dog down or something. But still -- great subs. : )

Very friendly and great food! Price is ok... very filling, i could not finish my sub. Something in between a medium and large would be perfect! Something i would suggest for next visit for my own personal experience is a half the sauce on the brisket. Also, a small medium and large should be an addition to the menu. I do like that the round up to the nearest dollar donations go to local emergency services. I would recommend this place.

I’m a man with patience. However on this given night, the wait time for a sub was 27 minutes. (Yes I timed it). I could’ve ordered a sandwich from Subway, ate in and finished my meal in that amount of time. I also wasn’t the only one dissatisfied with the wait time. It’s very discouraging and if you’re craving a sandwich and extremely hungry, avoid this location at all costs!

Firehouse Subs is one of the places to eat that I visit quite often. It has a bright cheery atmosphere and even if it's busy the service is quick and efficient. As the name implies this place is fireman themed and even has little fire hats for the young ones. The food is consistently excellent and the staff is always friendly. I'm not sure there is a vegetarian option but if you are looking for a great place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. Then you can't really go wrong with this place.

A co-worker suggested I try Firehouse Subs based on his own experience. I'm not generally a sub type of person. If I'm having fast food I generally go for the burger and fries experience. However I tried their Firehouse Meatball sub and I was hooked. Each time I've had it, the sub is Extremely hot, and always flavorful. I haven't tried any of their other subs because I love the meatball one so much. But recently I've been adding pepperoni to it which makes it even better. Their subs are a little more expensive than the other sub competitors but from what I've seen and experienced, it tastes like a much more fresh sub so I don't mind paying a little extra. I do feel bad for the staff though because whenever someone comes in they all say "Welcome to Fire House". I can see how after doing it a few times in a row, its tough to keep saying it with renewed energy each time, but to their credit, they try!

They are great for something different. More pricey than other sub places. What sets it apart is the different kinds of hot peppers, and the grilled vegetables. Downside, if takeout, it can be soggy on opening. Dude behind me asked for not toasted, and the maker was quite confused as to how he wanted the meat warmed up?? Do not go if you want a quick sub. It does take longer to put together, I am sure on account of the grilled veg.

Overpriced. Slow service even with only 2 other customers there. We order 3 "medium" subs and 2 fountain drinks and our order came to $35. We had taken our food to go so didn't discover some items were missing. The girl at the cash said that our subs come with a pickle slice on the side....no pickles. I ordered banana peppers on mine there was literally 1 and a half pepper rings. Two of my bites had something sharp in it like sticks which I pulled out of my mouth to see what it was. Looked like a fibrous stem from something. My daughter had order cucumber slices in her sub.....there was 2 pieces of diced cucumber. The picture showed cucumber sliced not cubed cucumber. Anyway bad first experience we are most likely not going to return. I personally don't like Subway but I would rather Subway over this anyway. Disappointing considering the amount of money you're spending.

First time going, we each got a "Club on a Sub". Holy moly, they were INCREDIBLE!! You definitely get what you pay for, the amount of meat (and bacon) was more than I expected. We got the 12 inch ones but after eating all of mine I'm ready for a food nap, and my boyfriend (smartly) saved part for later. Plus, the staff was so friendly and patiently walked us through the process. Can't wait to go again!

First time coming here..first impressions are everything. I walk in, have all the employees looking at me, shouting "welcome to firehouse" but in a I hate my job type of voice. Their cheapest sub is a medium (just a tad over 6 inches from the looks of it). I ordered their original meatball sub. Now I expected like other sub places to go down the line and the employees would ask if i'd like extra items on my sub, but No..they said take a seat while we prepare your food, which I can't see what they're doing. Are they doing it with their bare hands or do they have plastic gloves? I have no clue cause the counter is too high and im 6'7 and still can't see. Anyways, I get my sub after about 6-7 min--5 employees on the line including cashier. I open the container, and I was really disappointed...literally it was just sauce, 4 meatballs, and the cheese tasted like plastic. There was more bread then there was items. If you want extra items, their menu says per item $1-2 dollars. I don't know if they're trying to cash in because of the wage increase, but from a customer price point, the prices are extremely expensive for what little you actually do get. Now I know why I always see this place empty.
