As of day the business gets a score of 4.1 stars out of 5 and this score is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is really positive, and it's founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can be pretty sure that the rating is very reliable. If many people have bothered to rate when they are happy, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Catering corresponds to the category of Supermarket.
Close to where we stayed. Open late and had a wide variety of groceries, etc. I was especially happy to find frozen Torteire (sp) as I live in the states and my Mom is gone...Went back and got another one to take home.
You'll find anything you'll need for your grocery
A nice grocery store with a lot of the essentials. Is pricier than the other available grocery stores in Quebec City.
Lots of people here, speeders and poukis are known to frequent this area. But if you jump on them once they go in their shell and can be used as projectiles
Fantastic chain grocery store that equals a neighborhood store. Wish I had one near me
Excellent quality of food excellent selection
Great selection of groceries, deli meats and cheeses and the produce is top notch. The meats are good looking as well. Good selection of beers. I wish we had a Metro Plus in Virginia.
Good enough to very good, a little high comparing other places but very tidy and organize.
Nice and clean grocery store. I find all that I need there. They make delicious sushi on the spot. Their bakery goods are pretty good, too.
Awesome Metro in downtown Quebec City. Free parking available. Staff were friendly. Loved the self checkout area. …
Good selection, no free parking.
Well stocked and a quick pick up as we were running out of essential holiday items. Staff very pleasant and helpful in providing directions or just walking you to the appropriate aisle.
Was good when. Now different story
Good but expensive..
It has what is needed.
Got exactly what I needed. I'm visiting Québec, and was the nearest grocery store to where I'm staying. Parfait!!
Good place to chopengi
Coming from Massachusetts this store is busy but easily manageable. The prices are great and I love the way food in general is packaged. Produce is absolutely fantastic!!
Excellent place to shap than Marché intern on Saint Jean. Lots options and reasonable prices.
Lots of prepared food for lunch. Fresh fruits also. My go to place!
Really useful location. Prices are good if you stick with getting what ever offers are on or have coupons. All the staff were very helpful as we ar English and had no clue what was going on alot of the time. The vegan selection is surprisingly good! Lots too offer. Also have loads of good beers which is a bonus.
It's a bit expensive but it's a Metro after all. Good location and free parking made me come back a few times while I was on vacation.
One of the better Metros I have been to. The manager clearly knows what he is doing and the employees are super helpful.
Great supermarket... Great prepared food if you want a quick bite!
Good variety of food in a convenient location. 3 sub sandwiches for $11.99? Yes please! Helped us save a little money by buying groceries for snacks and drinks and light lunches after eating at one or 2 gourmet restaurants every day we were in the area.
Good spot to pick up supplies before boarding the train.
They have a decent selection. Fruit and veggies don't last as long as they should.
All we needed at the market.helpful staff. Picked up veggies snacks and a couple of decent bottles of wine for our hotel. Happy they provide an hour and a half free parking right across the street.
Good food shopping experience, friendly staff even to those of us unable to speak French. Also they have express self checkouts that you can switch to English if you are not so adventurous. Good selection of beer and wines for a grocery store.
This grocery store has a great food selection (a lot of products).
Good grocery store, you can find most things and a decent vegan section!
Well organized, crew are very friendly and willing to help.
Super friendly cashier and she was able to communicate in both english♡ and french
Convenient grocery store near my hotel. Decent selection of groceries and supplies. However, when I asked an employee to assist me in finding an item I was looking for, I was immediately overpowered by his STRONG body odor. It wafted and followed behond him in a foul stench all through the store. When I got to the checkout line to pay for my groceries, I was glad to be done with my business so I could get out of the smelly store and enter outside into the fresh air.
Went often when I lived closer but today, i live up the mountain and needed a taxi. I has shopped and selected about 170$ in items. I went to the cashier - no cashiers open just the robot checkout. Managed to get someone on the cashier when I noticed a sign on the telephone for Taxi. I asked and was politely advised the phone was out of order. I had left my cell at home so requested someone to call me a taxi. The cashier was nice and asked. The big bag packer guy shrugged and ultimately I was told no-one would call me a taxi. Since my cart was full, I couldn't walk up the mountain to my home so I declined to complete my purchase. The cashier apologized, I thanked her for her efforts and buggered off. I will never go back to Metro. I am pissed that no-one there would call me a taxi after buying so much food. I'm just thankful I saw the sign on the taxi phone before checking through. My loss because I then went to Intermarché instead but their loss too because they lost an old and now potentially new customer. Adios Metro????
The woman with short hair is not friendly, bad service attitude many times
good selection of pre-prepared meals, reasonable prices...tends to get very busy around lunch time.
A very nice store, and they had what we needed!
Rude useless staff
No offence to the items they sell, they are fresh, great, cheap and nice. Bought very cheap local raspberries which tasted awesome and a post dinner snack (due to an unsatisfying McDonald's Double Hamburger) They have a great selection of …
Great selection of fresh produce and prepared meals.
All common grocery items available. Was a great place to do my weekly shopping during my stay in Quebec. Staff is friendly and helpful as well.
It's a well provided supermarket where you can find pretty much anything. The parking lot, on the hand, it's a disaster. It's full of potholes, the biggest one being right at the entrance. It's hard to see and you can actually destroy …
You can get it here! Good location and pleasant service.
The grocery store is located within walking distance from railway station and the goods are arranged similar to any USA grocery store with baking goods are on far right and dairy products on the far left side of the store as entered. The store provides shopping carts for convenience and carts are of less capacity. Observed lot of people using reuse bags for carrying purchased goods and seems to be active on recycling and reusing for environmental reasons. Fresh fruits and vegetables seems to be expensive side and meats products to be comparable to USA prices. Check out staff are very helpful and friendly. Check out time is relatively less even though the store seems to be busy and crowded. The store is not huge but able to find all the needed products.
Lots of selection! Tons of brands and options. Can make any kind of meal with all the options.
Very central located and very complete supermarket. You have everything to make your everyday food shopping. I think thatbthey are understaffed and don't have enough self checkouts. Other than that, it's like any other Metro supermarket.
It's fine, nothing to wow you, but it'll get the job done.
A nice place to buy food and supplies, specially for tourists since it's not far from Old Quebec.
Nice selection of local craft brewery beers. Also a good stop for lunch as they have a nice selection of options from roasted chicken to wraps and sub sandwiches to fresh made asian stirfry meals
Need more variety i would expect a french kind of cookies and chocolate selection
Good stuff. Had everything you need. Even had a gym right beside it
We stayed in the area at an Airbnb. This store had everything we needed and then some.
Nice store. One piece of advice - don't use the express line if you are in a hurry. I've used it several times and wait longer than any other line. People are not generally stopped for having more than the 10 items and often the cashier is also dealing with lottery tickets. Today for example, a men with 20 items (yes I counted) was three ahead of me and then brought out around 10 lottery tickets. The cashier had to process them all and then he picked which ones he wanted as winning tickets. Meanwhile I watched as people who came after me at the other cashiers - were being processed and leaving the store. It was not the cashier's fault and she was very effective actually but it's the nature of the dual service. Also hard to fault the man for if he has lottery tickets - he has to come to this line to have them processed. Easiest thing to do is to say lottery tickets are not redeemed in this line and people have to go to the main counter for that. That would likely also stop the abuse of the 10 item limit..
It's a nice store with good produce selection, a little too crowded.
Always entertaining!...
Nice goods and fresh fruits and veggies
Good variety of products.
Parking my car close to this store has been a real puzzle. There is a parking right at the west but it is a paid one. No parking place on Charest blvd and no free place in the streets around the store. I found it frustrating because I had to carry my heavy shopping bags on a long distance, there were many homeless people in the streets and it was dark. Hardly reassuring. However, the store itself is correct, very clean, the staff is professional, good service. I would return there regularly if it wasn’t for the difficulties I had to park my car.
It was completely incredible it was one of the best shopping experience of my life
If your map app is directing you to this supermarket while visiting Quebec City, this is a great place to pick up those items you left at home or munchies to buy. Whatever you’re shopping for, whether it’s general grocery, dairy, produce, or take-away, there is a large variety. There’s also a personal care section for items like toothpaste, soap, shaving products, etc. I found the store clean and staff helpful.
Always buy groceries here when I'm in Quebec. Excelent.
Easy to find things and very helpful! The woman at the check out did not know English but tried really hard, and succeeded, to communicate and did a great job not getting frustrated but was very accommodating.
It has a big parking lot across the store which we didn’t expect to find in such a small neighbourhood.
This is the most organized, beautiful fruits deep is awesome! Fish, bakery ans lits more
Grrrr... definitely, self-service lanes and good customer service seem to be incompatible. This Metro is yet another example of it. I had problems scanning with one product, and the grumpy woman working there was the most unhelpful person I've met in a month in Quebec...
They have cheap ready to eat meal. Just warm it up in a microwave.
Good selection of fresh produce and other items. Love when they have the whole fish.
So good
Plenty of choice for those looking to cater for themselves but with no access to cooking facilities. Hot counter and plenty of salads to choose from.
All of them are very kind!
Chap for downtown...mostly veggetables and fruits are half price than uptown..st.rock rocks!!; pizzas are lots cheeper and dosen choices! Yesss
Big store but parking limited, very helpful store associates.
Lots of produce and products to buy. Great selection along with good bakery, butcher, and charcuterie. Prices are a little higher (about a dollar more on most items) than most other places but good quality. There is parking out in the front. Located in a nice area (St. Roch) with lots of hip restaurants and not too far away from public transit. Service was good too. Some staff could speak English well and they are accommodating.
A supermarket. Lol. That's what it is.
Tiny super market. They sell beer, wine and the regular food store stuff.
On our visit to Quebec we were happy to find this Metro Supermarket near our AirBnB. We actually visit three times during our four days in Quebec. Metro's selections and varieties were great. They also have a good selection of cooked & prepared food. Look for the weekly specials. The store is very clean and well staffed. I definitely recommend this place. The parking lot is regulated.
Nice and clean.
We found everything we needed it but a bit expensive. Lots of fresh cooked meals. Staff don't speak much english
We were visiting tourists and even though we tried to communicate politely in our limited French, staff were pretty rude to us. I watched the cashier be very friendly to the locals in line in front of us and then she didn't even say hello …
