Cute cafe! They have food, beverages and even accessories. We got the earl grey tea, passion fruit cheesecake, s’more cookie and the olive baguette(which they sell from mamie clafoutis). Our favourites were the cookie and the baguette. We also really enjoyed the outdoor deck seating.

The food here is very good and a lot of it is unique faire compared to what you'd see in a lot of grocery stores and other takeaway places. However, it's not cheap at all, especially the take home stuff. I definitely can't go here too often due to the cost but you do get very nice food for the money. Not at all bad, just know the caliber of stuff you'll be getting when you go and the cost associated with that.

Just passing through Ottawa and needed some lunch when we happened upon Thyme & Again. We couldn’t stop picking things up to purchase and we were quickly served. The food was amazing and there were some nice things to sample while we were looking around. Everyone was very happy and polite and will definitely see us again when we are passing through next time.

Was really excited for this new location because I love the Wellington store. The tuna melt was not bad but not many options to dine in (three types of sandwiches only). The take out/frozen menu has a huge selection but it was pricey in my opinion. I was mostly disappointed in the customer service - really grumpy staff :(

First time visiting the Carling Ave location. I was disappointed to see how few items are available compared to the Westboro location, where I constantly bought sandwiches and other lunch items. Decided to get the frozen grab-and-go Bulgogi dinner (frozen being the only food options at this new location), because Korean Bulgogi is one of my favourites — but it was HORRIBLE! Even my husband refuses to eat it and he eats anything. I can’t believe how bad it is. $16 for the small, which would feed two - the rice is hard and the only seasonings you can taste are soy sauce, garlic, and way too much sugar. Nothing like real Bulgogi. A complete waste of my money and the special trip I made to visit this new location. Such a shame considering the Westboro store is one of my all-time favourite lunch spots and would get five stars from me.

I love the Westboro location and been there many times. Carling location is designed to carry out, so if you're planning to sit and enjoy your desert and coffee, go to Westboro. They don't have soup either and a very limited sandwiches.

It's nice that there is more space in this location than in Wellington. Lots of take home foods to choose from with vegetarian and vegan options - tarts, curries, soups, pasta, etc. The owner is super helpful with resolving issues as well!

I do love this place but not ideal for those with allergies. I needed to buy a gluten free cake for someone with celiac. The gluten free items are right beside and underneath the regular baked goods which poses a risk of cross contamination. Only takes a crumb for a celiac to get severely ill.

Plus they support other small local businesses. You simply cannot go wrong here. ❤️ And their cocktail boxes are a hit for the holiday season.

Everything here is fantastic. Really tasty options for all your special diet needs too. Very wheelchair friendly: ramp, automatic doors with push button, wheelchair seating, great accessible washroom.

We liked this Carling location as much as the one on Wellington. Nice environment. They offered specialty coffee with amazing price. Bread was great. They provided wooden utensils which are more environmental friendly. We brought it home after using it in store.

Love the food here! The fogo island fish pie is amazing it tastes like they just plucked the fish out of a stream out back minutes before baking it into a pie. I also highly recommend the beef brisket (I won't make any cow comments since they are significantly cuter than fish and might make someone sad). The service here is always amazing as well - I know I will always leave with a coffee and a smile! Thank you!!

Lunch was just a shared soup and sandwich. But both were excellent. All of today's sandwiches looked healthy and tasty. Not our first time there. We'll be back for take home dinner or dessert or another lunch.

This place is a " It depends.." sort of destination. If you searching for a high end dessert for an evening dinner party then bouya! This is the place to come as long as it's not putting you out of you way. Seriously.. do not go out of your way as there are many other options in that category that would rate much higher..However if in the neighborhood then yes absolutely! As for Healthy or at least slightly more gourmet fast dining experience of a sandwich or coffee.. well.. 50/50. Depends what your up for. Menu changes all the time. Mostly this place is for those that need a gourmet meal at home but don't, won't, or can't cook it. PRICING VARIES WIDLY. If your wallet is a tad light, seek other options. Additionally my visit was later in the day and close to closing and the staff seemed cranky and unimpressed with a first time visitor to their store.

I have ordered food a couple times from Thyme and Again for delivery to family in Ottawa. The recipients of the dinner rave about the food. The service is outstanding. Staff go above and beyond to assist. This is my go to place when I want to treat family to a tasty meal from a distance. I highly recommend.

I had a terrible experience with the staff and the food offered. I was actually given food purchased at the deli counter at a grocery store instead of the wedding meal offered originally. They ran out of food before all the tables were served!

The food here is good but no one has ever greeted me, asked if I was looking for something and yesterday when I was there, I got what I was looking for, went to the cash and the person didn’t say anything other that, “that’ll be $20”. He cashed me out and walked away and thats pretty much like every experience I’ve ever had there. No polite hellos or thank you’s. I’ve always been treated begrudgingly. Not welcoming at all.
