This is a review for the Harvey's side of the restaurant. I had ordered one of their meal-sized meat lovers poutine. There were two people in front of me in line waiting to get their burgers ready. I didn't mind that, even though I could see that my poutine was already done before their burgers. What bothered me the most was that the girl at the front was busy with a new roll of the receipt paper than to serve me my poutine. Seriously. I could see my poutine on that back shelf. Just bring it over to me a few feet so I can eat it while it's still hot. Highly disappointed. I do not see myself going here anytime in the future. ❌

If you order from here, make sure you check your entire order before leaving the building. Ordered a ceasar salad and they gave me mixed greens. It was everything I wouldn't eat. Ordered white bun with quarter chicken dinner, they gave multi grain. Ordered extra buns and payed for it, received none. Specified no gravey and they gave me 2 containers. One leaked into my food. When you pay extra for white meat, I expect to have an actual serving and not half the amount they usually give. The drink cups were half full. By the time we realized the whole order sucked, we were already back at the hotel and too exhausted to go out and get it fixed. Seriously reconsider ordering from this one and think about trying the one in Pembroke.

The woman who served me didnt give me much time to place my order I felt rushed. At first I was given my food and they forgot to give the apple pie I purchased. When I got home with the food the chicken was really dry and overcooked. My potato was also over cooked and I didnt receive sour cream for the pierogies. I have to say I was really disappointed and I hope nobody basis there experience at this Swiss Chalet compared to ones that are stand alone restaurants and in the bigger cities as I dont normally have a problem with Swiss chalet.

What a great place to eat. We were in the miramichi on our honeymoon and decided to stop in. A young man by the name of julien waited on us. He gave us a free order of mini donuts for a honeymoon treat. Both he and the rest of the staff just made our night. The food was incredible. Tasty, fresh and hot. Good job guys!!!

One of the worst visits I have experienced. On the way home from Pembroke we went through drive through at the Swiss Chalet and Harvey’s this was about 10 to 5pm and we ordered our chicken dinners with fries and also a side of deep fried pickles. They asked us to pull up as it was going to be a “bit of a wait” we waited 10 minutes. Meanwhile my daughter was screaming she was so hungry (she’s 11 months old). So my hubby went in to check. The kitchen guy Rob handed him our food NOT WEARING A MASK! Not only was that a major red flag they missed our pickles and skimped us hard on our fries. I was not happy. We will 100% not be going back there for a very long time!!!!!!

This is the second time I tried to order from here in the past week and a half. Really wanted the Thanksgiving festive feast, but not available for delivery. So opted to get just a normal chicken dinner with mashed potatoes. Received an email AFTER an HOUR of waiting for my food, to state that they are out of chicken. Then tried again tonight, and same email message saying they are out of chicken. How are you a chicken restaurant with constantly no chicken?!?!?! Very very disappointed

I like the idea of having a Harvey's and a Swiss. But right out of the gate, the parking lot is too small. If you can get over that, then it's not a bag place if your in a rush and want something other than McD or BK. It's nice to have a choice of restaurant but I feel as though Swiss chalet should be it's own or at least have table service. My favorite is the Buffalo chicken wrap but for some reason they don't seem to make the same every time. It's always a gamble and half the time I just unwrap and rewrap it myself. I was rather put off by the dirty dishes on the tables. For whatever reason, they want you to leave your mess on the table. If you can get some consistency and a cleaner dining room, I will give 5 star.

Delicious food and extremely friendly service! I have ordered several times from this location now. Recently, I ordered some Thanksgiving specials and they forgot to include the stuffing, cranberry sauce and chocolates (understandable, since it was a seasonal meal ordered near the beginning of the season). I returned and pointed out the oversight, and they were all very apologetic and provided the missing items as well as appropriate compensation. I will definitely continue to order from this location.

Update - spoke with the GM and was very helpful and assisted with rectifying the future. Very committed to improving customer service and as such updated my stars as he was fantastic in trying to resolve the issues. I wish I could give zero stars. More than once I’ve had poor service and staff with attitude problems. This time was the breaking point. We ordered online and went to pick up 45mins later as directed only for them to tell us “we have no chicken”. We asked why we didn’t get a call and were told with attitude “I’ve been busy with drive through”. We’ve now been fighting to get our order moved or our money back because this restaurant DOES NOT CARE. Beware of poor service and long waits only to be told you’re not important. Very sad for a locally owned business.

Disappointed that this isn’t a full Swiss Chalet but is a Harvey’s/Swiss Chalet combo - more a takeout than a restaurant. The restaurant is not a welcoming place to sit - only a few booths, mostly small tables - making us feel we should rush to leave. It isn’t a relaxing place to have a meal - a place to ‘eat and run’. The menu is not as robust as at a full Swiss Chalet and the food was just “okay” not what I have come to rely on when I eat at Swiss Chalet. Really disappointed that they cheaped out and didn’t build a real restaurant that would compete with the Portage on the Chatham side or Boston Pizza or the Kingsway on the Newcastle side.

This was one of the worst swish chalet experiences, the Caesar salad was literally just lettuce, they forgot the bacon that I paid for, the sandwich my gf ordered wasn’t made properly and was missing items the fries were cold, took 30 mins longer than was supposed too. All for a 70$ meal I will not be returning

Have went here multiple times and every time at least one thing has been incorrect. When a complaint was made they had told us to come and get our entire meals for free but when we received our meals they wanted to charge us for our drinks which are apart of the meal. Workers seemed to have a bad attitude towards me and seemed to not care at all about customer service. Would not recommend this Swiss chalet.

This Harvey’s/swiss chalet combo store is very good. This was the first time i eat at this restaurant and the service is very good. And the workers was in english only but there is one worker who speak french and english also is one of the best workers out there. The chicken at swiss chalet is better than st-hubert in Bathurst and also chicken strips (Harvey’s) is very good and cooked really good. I would go again when me i am in Miramichi!! Same restaurant as Dieppe but a little bit smaller.

Well few things I am going to start with, I ordered a kale ceasar salad...I got plain Romain lettuce in a container. Not even enough to feed a person. I also ordered the family meal....let's say it fed the grown man and the grown man only. With that family meal... I kid you not, a table spoon of mashed potatoes was it.....the baked potato I got was larger than the chicken but didn't come they way it said in the menu????‍♀️ 70 bucks for not a family meal. Hope your experience is better than mine! Also tried calling but it was busy signal, I tried a few times! Lessons learned ????‍♀️

Ordered through SkipTheDishes. Thé restaurant confirmed the order and a driver was supposedly on the way (I think he really went to the restaurant), but the restaurant twice notified that extra time was needed. This went on for an hour until the restaurant closed. I contacted Skip customer service who said they couldn’t reach anyone at the restaurant. The site says they were open and they took my order and money (skip refunded it) and made me wait for no reason.

Not a full menu at the swiss. Extremely long wait times. So its not a dining resturant and its not fast food what is it? Also swiss chalet fries midas well be boiled potatoes if your gunna send them out in sealed plastic bags. EDIT: you can make it up to me by using paper bags, instead of plastic & not taking 13minutes to cook chicken wings. KFC does it in 5.

We ordered from here and they made nothing right. Our chicken dinners were even missing the chicken!!! We called and asked them to either give us a refund or store credit for our missing/horrible quality meals and they said yes, then made zero effort to actually do it. Ordered online @ 6:05 for curbside pickup @6:21 had to go in to find my order, they were way backed up, 30 mins order still not started, asked for a refund and they gladly obliged, and brought our meals out a few minutes later with a sincere apology/explanation,and some extra desserts in the bag, the food was great, and these things happen, thank you to the friendly staff who made things right. This helped me survive the ride home with a hangry wife.

If it wasn't for the fact it is attached to Harvey's, this location would be out of business. They continually are out of stock on items and if they don't have an item, they don't substitute at cost of what you paid. On top of that, you'll go in thinking your order is ready, you'll let them know you're there. You'll sit there for 15 minutes before they tell you they never even started on your order because they didn't have a side option and they will tell you that they can't do anything about it and you need to call the 1-800 number to get any money back back what they didn't give you. Management needs a change. They evidently are dragging the morale of the rest of the staff down too. Which is too bad because some of the staff are really nice.

Excellent, fast and great service, the food was amazing very clean in-eat area, as well as the bathrooms were very clean and well kept. Large food portions for the price will definitely be good back. This was out first time there super impressed with this restaurant. The only thing I didn't like was they did not have an option on the debit machine to tip the workers, and I do not carry cash on me.

Would rate lower if I could. Ordered online was told it would be ready at 7:52 got there at 7:56 and was told my order just came in and instead of white chicken they only had dark and they would give me two pieces of pie I said that was fine and went to curb side to wait. Waited 30 minutes. When I got home I was missing stuffing all the extras for the baked potato and everything other then the sauce was either just above room temp or ice cold. Was offered 10% which would be $4.40. And was told they would have redone the order but they are out of all chicken. Which seems like an ongoing issue at this place. Will not eat a single piece and will not be going back.

The staff is friendly, however we have lived here for over a year and literally every single time we go and try to order they claim they are out of chicken, no matter what day or time of day we go there. Very frustrating to try and order chicken from a restaurant that specializes in chicken when they continually do not have it available. Normally love swiss chalet. Have given this location 3 tries. Will not be returning. Southern Canuck sandwich had no cheese. The coleslaw was on the side which is fine but it was dark in colour and tasted off. No pickle but added a bun to go with my sandwich that has a bun...every order has something that isn't as advertised
