This is the BEST caterer I have ever dealt with. Professional, courteous and very responsive. They show up, set up tents, bbq and cook for your guests, then CLEAN up! It's insane, the food was out of this world and the chefs were so so accommodating! How cool is it to have french fries made on the spot in your yard/at your event? We ordered 10 meals for our companies Christmas lunch, the food was great and everything I had hoped for. Turkey, ham, veg, potatoes, stuffing.. ALL of it was great. Each item was packed individually even the condiments and rolls which was very professional for the COVID season we are enduring. All of our staff were very happy and surprised how good it was. Came across Smokin Bones online when the family was looking for an alternative to home cooking for Christmas, happy to report and must say that they fully delivered! Flavour was on point and best of all it tasted more home made than we thought it would. Pick up was was a breeze despite of COVID measures (call upon arrival and someone will bring the food out). Everything was packaged neatly and for dinner time we just tossed them all into the oven and heated at 250 for 30 mins. We added some of our own veggies to balance things out. Overall a smashing success for this holiday dinner. No clean up required! Now that’s a Christmas miracle.

Our son recently graduated from high school, and we wanted to host a celebratory event to gather the whole immediate family celebrating this milestone. As this was going to be our first event since the pandemic started, and as we are still fighting it, our biggest concern was to ensure that everyone's safety came first. On that note, we decided to host a backyard BBQ. Of course, we were not in favour of cooking, cleaning and attended to everyone's needs. So, we did our research and came across Smokin Bones BBQ Catering. We spoke with Nash, owner of the Smokin Bones, who is very customer service driven. One of the most admirable, friendliest guys you will ever deal with, and it filters down to the team who managed our event. We discussed our plans, goals, and needs. Furthermore, we were also looking at hiring a party rental company to provide all of the necessary equipment, such as tents, tables, chairs and even utensils. Nash offered to take this on for us. We gained insight and alternatives and eventually moved forward with our set menu. We were never pressured or redirected to different options. Day of the event, Nash and his team arrived on time, set up and had everything ready as our guests arrived. The event ran smoothly, the food was delicious, provided professional serving, and the best part was it was stress-free. All of the staff on duty were friendly. Ingrid was specifically helpful and ensured was happy and went above and beyond. The team was polite and even wore uniforms and PPE equipment, even though it was a hot day and everyone was vaccinated. Once they completed their services, they packed up and cleaned up without interruption to our event or guests. Our family and friends had a great time especially having the opportunity to sit down together and not watching us run around to cater to everyone's needs. Worth every cent spent, leaving us with another memorable family moment. I will be sure to use Smokin Bones BBQ again and refer them to friends and family. Thank you, Nash and team.

I had a fantastic experience with Smokin Bones. I am a vegetarian and have a smaller family, so I don't cook a turkey. We get our holiday meals catered. When I failed to order from our usual place early enough, I scrambled to find an alternative. In spite of the minimum order being for eight people, my family enjoy leftovers and the price was reasonable, so I went for it. Jodi was super helpful and patient with me as I tried to figure out what to order and how to get it picked up (the location is far for me). The food was exceptional. Everyone raved about the turkey, and I (everyone) loved the mash! The mixed vegetables were really good (though I could've used more of those... lol). There was gravy on the turkey as well as on the side, which was excellent as it ensured the meat was moist once reheated. The little individually-wrapped buns - when I saw them I expected little, like airplane food, but they were soft and fresh and delicious. :) I'll be ordering from SB again!

I came across the restaurant just by googling and I am so unbelievably grateful for it. I ordered food for my birthday and I was nervous since it was my first time ordering. This place did not disappoint, I ordered hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, coleslaw, mac & cheese and potato salad and everything was DELICIOUS. The quality was unreal, the quantity was unreal. They were SO amazing and SO nice, he was a pleasure to correspond with. My party guests were blown away, they took food home with them! We have enjoyed Smokin Bones for the past two years for our family Christmas dinner. The food is fantastic! It comes very well packaged, and is easy to reheat and serve if needed. The turkey is juicy and perfectly prepared, as is the brisket, and the sides are perfect compliments to the meal. While the flavours are traditional, this is not your grandma's turkey dinner. It is better! Just don't tell her that. All the staff are very friendly, professional, and easy to deal with. They come out to your car with your food and a smile. We live about an hour away and it is well worth driving up to Richmond Hill for the meal and for the service. We will be making Smokin Bones a part of our family's Christmas traditions for years to come. Thank you Smokin Bones!

We went with the “Ranchhand RoundUp” from their menu...absolutely fabulous. The roasted brisket & honey garlic chicken was outstanding along with the Greek, fresh pasta & homemade potatoe salads. The Beavertails with cinnamon sugar, chocolate, caramel & strawberry sauce made on site were such a hit of the party!! Kenny, his wife Olga, Chef Ryan & staff members Karan & Kerri were just awesome. They were so efficient, professional and friendly. Everything ran smoothly as promised from the time they set up to tear down. Kenny was so accommodating to every detail, and the presentation of the food was very impressive. They were all so quick with the clean up and took everything. I highly recommend Smokin’ Bones and I will definitely be hiring them again ! ;)

I booked Smokin' Bones for a company BBQ. We more or less booked at the last minute and they were extremely accommodating . The price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food. We ordered the burgers, and they were the textured formed burgers, which are of superior quality . Personally, I absolutely hate most frozen burgers, but these were excellent. The chicken breast was REAL chicken, and the Pulled Pork was truly yummy, with just the right amount of spice. The salads were delicious and crisp, The Chef went out of his way to accommodate a special request at the last moment. They crew arrived on time, set up and tore done without any issues. The crew were also very personable. The entire company loved the BBQ and we would definitely utilize their services again.

I ordered a special holiday lunch for my front line team late last week for a delivery this week, including some special dietary options that I added later for select staff. The food was delivered today, on time, hot and fresh, individually packed so that we could effectively distance and reduce cross contamination. This dreary year has been hard on my team, and since we were not able to do the usual annual celebration at a local eatery, nor were most able to get together with family this year, I figured a turkey dinner would do just the trick to help remind them how appreciated they are. Smokin Bones came through for me in a stellar way with this meal - the communication was easy and consistent, the pricing was excellent with great value, attention to detail was paid, flexibility demonstrated by the kitchen, and payment was simple and easy. We will absolutely be using them for future events with my organization, and I will be making personal recommendations of their company, as well. Please keep supporting local, everyone, especially these guys! Very disappointed that they don’t make their own burgers. It looked like they bought it from the frozen section in a grocery store. The chicken was not cooked very well. We ended up throwing it. Nash was okay, but still the services were poor. I won’t recommend them.

I was looking for an option for our Thanksgiving Dinner this year verses my wife and I spending half the day cooking the dinner and then the dreaded kitchen clean up after the dinner is finished. I found Smokin Bones online and their site was very informative and easy to navigate. Kenny contacted me and I soon discovered that Smokin Bones caters to larger events then what I was looking for in the number of people, as we are only six family members. Kenny provided a viable option for me, since the kitchen was open on the Sunday for catered events, if I was able to pick up my order they could facilitate my request. This was a perfect solution for us. I arranged a time to pick the food up and they had everything ready for me upon my arrival. Every dish was properly marked and secured for us and the hot food was ready to serve for us. The food was fantastic, the portions provided were more then what we expected and easily packaged to be stored for leftovers. I have attended many functions with catered food and Smokin Bones food meets and exceeds most venues I have attended. It wasn't just the exceptional food that made this experience great, it was the correspondence from Kenny throughout the process that made the experience enjoyable. Originally booked our vow renewal with 100 person guest list. But with the pandemic happening we were afraid we would have to cancel or postpone. Nash and his team worked with us every step of the way and we were able to pull it off with a guest list cut down to 25. The team showed up on site on time and set up without disturbing any of the activities occurring simultaneously. After dinner their teardown and clean up was the same. Jodi and the Smokin Bones team were a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end (and even after that with leftovers)! There was a slight hiccup with the amount of meals that arrived but that was quickly rectified with a second delivery. Our team had nothing but good things to say about the food. We chose to customize one of the existing holiday packages and we were not disappointed! I only wish I had been able to get photos of the first part of our order which consisted of individually packaged meals. The food was piping hot, packaged well and also delicious. DO NOT RELY ON THIS COMPANY. Contacted Smokin Bones via email and received quote from Spencer for exactly what was advertised on their site. Called for some additional details and spoke to Milton. He told me to send etransder immediately to secure my event booking. Food, timing and cost were all confirmed and agreed to. Within minues of conversation with Milton, Spencer emailed me saying my minimum food spend was increased now by $1000. No additional food or service was offered. It was take it or leave it. So i left it. Not good business practice to have an agreed terms of contract only to be greedy and ask for and extra $1000. There are a lot of bbq caters in The GTA that pride themselves on service and quality. Do not trust these guys for your event

She was always patient and understanding as we prepared an 'a la carte' menu with a variety of food items to choose from and also in helping us with event rentals. Decided to try smokin bones bbq since we live in the area. Paid $14 for Janes Chicken fingers quality. Very disappointed that they don’t make their own. Hubby had the chicken sandwich, he was satisfied.
