Our favorite place for good quality and yammy cakes made out off all natural ingredients. Strawberry shortcake, mango cake and chocolate cake our favorite ones. Exceptional customer service!

Got a wonderful lemon chiffon cake from Daniel et Daniel last weekend for a friend's birthday treat. Ordered it on Friday and picked it up on Saturday, beautifully decorated and with a special marzipan "Happy Birthday" banner. The cake was delicious, as is everything at D et D, and the service was great too!

There is no better caterer in the city. I know for q fact that they use the best quality products when cooking and baking for clients. A rarity in this city. Many just want to cheap out on quality...because of the bottom line. They forget the long range picture....being short sighted and skimping is wrong. Daniel and Daniel have never, ever done that.

An order for six people for a double birthday and from the mushroom bisque soup, the broccoli salad, the braised short ribs in red wine sauce, mash potatoes, green beans and delicious Tiramisu cake not one complaint was heard as all items were delicious. I barely had time to take this picture before my guests dove into their meal.

Have always loved the food from here, we often have our open houses catered by DnD and often pick up lunch/dinner when we are entertaining at home. The seasonal menu is always changing with classics re-appearing from time to time. Friendly staff and excellent management as well. Highly recommend them for any event.

Daniel et Daniel has been catering both in-person and take-home orders for my workplace over the past two years. Without a doubt, this is the most delicious catered food I have ever experienced. What I appreciate about them the most is that the vegetarian options are made with just as much care (if not more, in my opinion!) than the meat options. Many other places treat the "veggie option" as a throwaway. Not Daniel et Daniel. Thank you to the menu planners, cooks and everyone involved for the delicious food and excellent care you put into this experience.

As always the food was delicious and spectacular -- lots of variety, unexpected flavours, and accommodation for gluten-free and vegan guests. Jake handled the event planning, staffing and flow of the day perfectly. He made excellent suggestions based on our needs, venue and number of guests. A day to remember.

Daniel et Daniel is home to Toronto's best butter croissants and Quiche Lorraine! Try calling ahead to place a special order for both and ask what time they are coming out of the oven. The croissants are ridiculously amazing while still hot out of the oven!

So, D&D has all kinds of great food on offer for catering or take-out. The best item is probably the chicken pesto. It's creamy, rich, and a bit tangy. The texture is also really unique, and coupled with the tanginess, makes me wonder if the recipe is unusual in some way. I'm suspicious that this effect can't be achieved with garlic and pine nuts alone - it's like there's mayo in it. That would be terrible and disgusting, if true, and I wouldn't want to eat it. So, if you know how they make the pesto, don't tell me, because I order it all the time and I'm worried that knowing the recipe's dark secrets will ruin it for me. Anyway, five stars!

This place has wonderful Tuna sandwiches and you would expect much more but there are not many vegetarian options (which is fine) but not many healthy choices. The drinks are basically sugar with a few vitamins. I really wanted to love this quaint,cozy store.

Daniel et Daniel are amazing! This past weekend I had the privilege to place an event order with them for a workshop at Cambium Farms. The whole team was professional, very inclusive, and respectful....Daniel et Daniel was so engaging with me through emailing and phone calls and when it came to working around our specific event budget for meals they listened to us and offered the right products + services for our event. Eveyone who attended the event, loved the eco-bowls, lemon squares, cheescake brownies + beverage selecitons that were ordered from them, everyone was coming up to me and saying how much they loved the meals that was presented. 10/10 Shoutout to Laura-Lynn (Senior Catering + Event Planner) who provided me with everything I needed for this event, and really made everything come together! Daniel et Daniel should be proud.

She was so helpful and skilled, we wouldn't be as coordinated as we are now without her assistance. Her experience and verve will make your planning not only extremely productive, but fun.

We were very disappointed with the frozen tourtière. We followed the instructions on the box and even called to double check if it should be defrosted or cooked from frozen. We were told to defrost it first (even though it said on the box to cook from frozen) After an hour at 350°F (with egg wash as per instructions) It looked beautiful out of the oven, but when we sliced it, the filling was extremely soggy, thin and watery. It looked like a vegetable soup with meat! The pastry was hard and hollow with nothing inside because of the watery consistency of the filling! We have had the chicken pot pie a few times before and it was always great! Something was off with the tourtière and maybe the chef forgot something in the recipe. A tourtière should be compact with the meat and not soupy. I would like to know if this is the usual way you make the tourtière or not. Thanks

We are the lucky ones to have you, so thank you for all you did for us to make wonderful memories. The main meal was delicious! I had guests coming up to me through out the evening saying how tasty their food was and how lovely the venue was decorated. The tables were beautifully set as well. The late night snack was welcomed by all and very tasty! Thank you again for everything. It truly was an amazing wedding.

If you are weight watching this is definitely the place to give yourself a wholesome, delicious and superior treat.. Their desserts are awesome , baked on the premises with the highest standards of pastry and culinary excellence ! Their crime brûlée, tarts like key lime or fruit custard apricot or plums are fresh and bountiful. No skimping on calories here. They also have ready to go dinners, salads, appetizers and vegan selections. We have tried the snitzels , the parmigianas and exotic couscous salads so delectable, tasty and ample servings. Again this Shoppe adheres to the strictest health regulations. Bon Apetit!!!!

I absolutely love Daniel et Daniel! My family has been buying cakes from them since I was a little girl and we still continue to buy cakes from them to this day. Their cakes are absolutely amazing, with just the right amount of sweetness. I recently bought two cakes from here for both my and my friend's birthday's. I ordered a lemon chiffon cake and a white chocolate mousse. I must say they are exactly as I remembered and all of our guests were very impressed. Thank you so much!! ????
