(anagramatically speaking) OVERALL EXPERIENCE In their own words, Yogi’s Kitchen is "a modern, customer-oriented, and technology-based platform committed to making life easier and convenient for those struggling for their lunch and dinner meals with delivery". I agree with their self-assessment because for the past few months that I've being their customer, we've not had to worry about where the next meal is coming from - be it rain or shine (or even snow!), the neatly and sustainably packed and labeled food packages are delivered to our home punctually on the days of our choice! Based on my experience with Yogi's, they offer a consistently good meal service, tasty food, and punctual delivery of meals to one's doorsteps. They have a very neat and professional website and app where you can view/select/ compare meal plans, choose from/update weekly menus, pause/resume service, chat with customer service, etc. Their customer service is good with prompt and efficient folks at the customers' beck and call. MEAL PLANS Yogi's offers three meal plans - Basic, Standard and Exclusive, and they have a nice tabular comparison of these options on their website and app. They have regular sales and discounts for their subscription plans for a month or more, so definitely good value for money. Once you sign up for a plan, the meal credits are reflected in your account, which allows you to view and select from the daily menus for the ongoing week. After lots of assessment initially, we had selected the Standard Plan, and it had been good so far. MEAL PACKAGES Yogi's Kitchen offers multiple meal packages (Single, Couple, Triple, Family), and the larger package sizes are accompanied by discounts. We opted for the single package which is good enough for two meals of a person with a healthy appetite! FOOD The food quality is pretty good with most items being tasty plus giving the feeling of their being made homemade. The food quantity is quite a lot, plus they don't repeat any dish in a week. Still the downside is that, as with any other type of food, continuously consuming their meals across weeks becomes repetitive and monotonous. So, it's important to space out the packages using their meal pause option! Also, their special meals are not the best (Biryani is too greasy) and Continental options are okayish. DELIVERY Though they have a meal pickup option, Yogi's delivery service is their USP and steals the limelight. Their delivery coverage is extensive and they cover most of Metro Vancouver, though certain areas are not in their scope. Their live order tracking feature is neat, and their delivery folks such as Navjot and Lakshay are fantastic for the consistently good delivery service they provide! CSR Yogi's Kitchen guarantees a 100% REFUND if you are not satisfied with their service, and promise to issue a refund for the unused portion of the service. Their portal states that they're committed to contributing to the society, and they promise to feed the dispossessed people in Canada. How neat is that! PRO TIPS Yogi's offers TRIAL PLANS for one day and one week on their Standard and Exclusive Plans. Checking out the weekly trial plan upfront gave us a good idea of what we were signing up for. So, please make sure to use this option before subscribing for a longer duration meal plan. They do have a REFERRAL scheme that benefits the referrer and the referred person. It was used to be a good service. Now I stopped it as Quality of Roti is Pathetic. Taste also changed. I complained so many times. But after no solution I stopped it. Guys it happens when your work grows your quality declines. Also the most expensive, there are better choice now in surrey with less price.

I am giving 1 star just because of health concern. I can't afford to fall SICK with FOOD BORNE ILLNESS. Vegetable biryani often comes STALE. I called them expressing my concern and i was assured that they cook twice a day and they are not giving biryani cooked in the morning for dinner. I ate at 8 pm and it was STALE on 2 occasions before i gave them this rating. To be honest, few of the dishes are very very good. For eg- Kadi on Thursdays is very good, Sambar on Fridays is good and tomato based paneer dishes are good too. I wouldn't be unsubsribing but i simply wouldn't dare to eat the biryani anymore. I would stop getting biryani on Saturdays.Their Biryani WHEN NOT STALE tastes good. No doubt about it. You must try their Kadi, continental and Paneer curries. They are good. Dals are bland and not my favourite though. I will continue with them until i get another tiffin service.

Small business can buy 1000 good reviews for cheap amount of money . I would be very honest with my review as I didn’t get my refund of 181$ from Yogi’s kitchen. I struggled with them. Food is not as tasty / fresh as they have mentioned. Daily menu is made out of very cheap vegetables like potatoes and peas or dal. I wouldn’t recommend this type of meal for good healthy life. Though their customer service agents remain nice on calls But my issue wasn’t resolved. I received an email notification that my plan Has been canceled and the money was refunded to my bank account but that was not a true statement. I am still waiting for my money to be refunded and its been more then 15 days that i am waiting for my refund .
i've to say food quality is really good and packaging quality as well, but i also want to share my experience; once my phone battery died and the courier arrived at my home they tried to call me. my phone was't reachable so they the courier left without even knocking on the door and we ended up ordering from diff restaurant and called yogiskitchen and asked them that; they could have at least knocked on the door. and their reply is as follows: it's not in our drivers protocol and not in our policy so it's not our fault and we had to pay for the food that we never received. it was an awful customer service experience!!!! For us it was like paying two restaurants and getting food from only one - an expensive dinner! If you want to start the tiffin service, make sure you ask for all the weird policies that they have.
Update: Taking a star off because the special menu is a kind of disappointment. The food is good enough, but the quantity is very, very little. I end up cooking something myself anyway when ordering special menu. The standard menu comes with huge portions and I appreciate that. However, if I just stick to that, it'll be extremely repetitive. Ordered my sample today. I got matar mushroom and the other dish I have no idea, what was that?! Just water with spices in it! I was thinking to go with the standard plan but after the having a look at the quality and taste of food I am glad that I ordered sample first!
My review is only about the food delivery. Their delivery agent didn’t call or message and just left the food in front of the building. They claim that the food was delivered but we have no way of knowing as we didn’t get the food. Is the expectation that we stay in the lobby for 2-3 hours till we get our food? On calling their customer service, they simply say sorry and say that it will not happen again. Crazy stuff.
Recommended this service to my father, but may have become a bad recommendation. While their food is delicious and portions are adequate. Their delivery service is below standards. They are frequently late and have a new excuse everytime. While this could be several coincidences, based on other reviews it likely isn’t the case. Unless you have several hours to wait everyday, their inconsistent delivery will surely frustrate you. It’s unfortunate they don’t seem to understand the busy lives people live and the importance of punctuality. Otherwise could of been a great service

I do not usually write reviews until I am exceptionally happy or disappointed. I won't comment on taste of food because it differs from person to person. But here goes an unbiased opinion on Pro's and Con's with Yogi's Kitchen Pro's: - Good Quantity - Good price - Flexibility on address selection - Variety of dishes to select from Con's: - Yogi's mobile app is pathetic. - Their Tookan map for delivery does not work properly. - Complex website structure to work with - Delivery drivers forget to pickup lunch for delivery that too for a customer that just joined the subscription. - Not to forget, they don't compensate for missed meal as a gesture of hospitality upon accepting mistake on their side. They will have to move heaven and hell to impress me, expect renewal and reference to others from my side.
Yogi’s was really good during the trial week we had ordered. As we decided to order for the month, their delivery service was beyond pathetic! We had called multiple times to make sure we get it delivered to our doorstep or at least call us so we will come outside but there must obviously been some miscommunication and have not rectified it as we got it delivered to the mail box and we had to disturb our neighbours. We had brought up this issue multiple giving them the benefit of doubt but this has gone too far. The first month will be the last month as we will not be renewing the service. It’s should be beyond embarrassing for a company if they rely on their service “Food Delivery to your Door” HOW HARD IS IT TO GIVE A SIMPLE PHONE CALL OR R KNOCK ON THE DOOR AFTER MULTIPLE COMPLAINT. Customer service gives empty promise that it won’t happen again. We will definitely discontinue ordering from here ever again!! Rectify it soon or you will lose customers!!!
Excellent delivery service. Their delivery boys does a tremendous job and has a very good website in place. The customer service is also really good. I was their customer for over an year and would like to say the below for food: Best Dishes - Mutton Rogan gosh, Afghani Chicken, Paneer Curries, Pudina Chicken, Desserts/Sweets Dishes for improvement - Dals, Salads, Aloo curries, Brinjal curries, Biriyani. Reduction of coriander seeds , cloves in curries can definitely improve taste Quantity for special menu items could definitely be revisited. I wish they offer mutton more in their menus. I am taking a star off for their improvement areas.

Good quality food at affordable prices. You can change your delivery locations with a 24 hour notice and you can pause your meals too. They have been increasing the food options, which is awesome. You can get roti or rice or a combination of both. Overall, GREAT! One suggestion to the management is if they allowed us to choose any 2 dishes from the entire 5 dish menu instead of dividing by Dish 1 and Dish 2.

I have been using Yogi"s Kitchen services for about 3 years now, good quality food, right pricing, neat packaging and cutlery at no extra cost. Here comes the best reasons healthy food, believe me that's key to long-term food need and a variety of options to select from, that is a luxury not available even at home on daily basis. The customer service is good but the food quality is terrible. There is very little vegetable/ lot of thin liquid and tastes way below average. We can get much better quality of food for this cost. Also, the delivery times vary and I end up waiting forever(way past lunch time) for my food to arrive. Would not recommend this service.

Ghar ka khana ghar se durr! This is my update with Yogi's Kitchen I am at loss of words for praising these guys here at Yogi's. They constantly keep on building up on customer feedback. Just now they launched a brand new website and an array of selections, their thali option has 5 dishes to choose from every day, plus the continental and salad options. These guys have made life so easy being away from home. I rarely come out to review any service, but for Yogi's, had to do it. Thanks a lot

I have a bad encounter with this soo called online order app, It's pathetic they can't serve you a meal on a small notice , i cant believe this company's hi fi super duper app???? first it was shown 3meals credit left in my account and suddenly next day refuse to get my order saying my subscription is over but I opted for next subscription than and there than this app is not able to get the payment and when i request them for a meal for my next day, as i was trying to get my subscription from yesterday afternoon they said we can't help what's this nonsense it's terrible

I love their food, the one thing I always wanted was to get dishes of my choice and at a reasonable price as well. This place offers the best home like food out of all others that I tried so far.
Subscribed to them couple of months now . food is tasty , taste like homemade food . Good selection of menu my top 3 favourite , Shalgam Bhartha, Punjabi Kaddu & Poriyal , Their roti are soft and comes in ziplock Bags . Just microwave bag for 15-20 seconds, fresh roti to eat. I like their containers they all good quality and microwavable. So its a good thing even if i am going out i can take my tiffin with me as they also provide cutlery if you select . While selecting the menu for the week you will have option to select salad pickle cutlery and spice level. Yogi's special pasta is pretty good too. Their customer service chat is so quick I'm really impressed by their response time(Heena) . System will provide the tracking link of your tiffin. But I have only one problem with it that it is not very accurate as it should be. But their delivery Staff is Very Nice And punctual especially GURSIMRAN . Very good person and always on time. ????. I am posting this review after trying Yogi's Kitchen Tiffin for months. There might be some negative reviews you will come across. But you should try before making your decision subscribe for a month or a week trial as i did first . Final verdict, if you want a tiffin in Vancouver city or even downtown this is one of the best tiffin service available. Because our daily food has to be healthy. Food is decent and good quantity, you will feel like you ate at home without too many spices after eating this. (Not exactly like home but you get the feeling, its clean, properly cooked, not like canteen food etc, and neither like restaurant quality, though there are few items which are sometimes restaurant like, but i cant eat that kind as daily food). Overall i extended their subscription after trying for a month to 3 months. So I can recommend this to others. Disclaimer: My cooking skills are limited to rice dishes and maggie etc., so i enjoyed eating the rotis in the menu.

I did this for two months. Enjoyed throughout my whole subscription. A genuine feedback and super highly recommend to everyone Pros: They have huge huge Indian dishes options. They provide individuals spice selections (can’t beat this) Yogi’s customer support is top level always available at your assistance. Most wonderful feature to pause or to change delivery address from your account(very useful) Yogis special meal is bang on (you get Indian local food to taste like paav bhaji, Pualao, Aloo poori) One time delivery else it’s free (shows they value customer time and maintain their delivery timings) Cons: Few delivery drivers aren’t very cooperative (only 2). I have already reported this to yogis customer care. Once I ordered extra biryani which they forgot to send, later they arrange another delivery for this. Bring more options to salad option (though it’s free) Very good luck to your future endeavours and special thanks to your customer care team to cater last minute requests. Real experience- Such a bad experience from only two subscriptions. I don't understand why they can't make clean food... Genuine food. I bet even the staff would say no to such food. Neither taste like home made, langar, street-food nor restaurant. But we're paying more than any of these. Ordered black chana-uncooked Ordered saag- doesnt taste/smell like saag. Ordered mix veg- 5-6 pieces of veggies ,it comes with some sour gravy tastes like pasta sauce or something worse Ordered yellow daal- jelly like consistency coz of additives they use. Many more dishes and chapatis... Useless.. Been wasting food a lot Please don't serve unhygienic food to anyone

I've been using this tiffin service for a little more than six months now for six days a week plan. I was referred to by a friend and I have also referred it to others.
I tried their basic plan. The food is okay. The portion sizes are respectable enough for the actual food. The salad and the dessert they provide are a joke with respect to the size, they should just do without it instead of the tiny little box they serve. The chat support/customer service is great though. The delivery tracking is also good. But if in a food provider company, if the main product is lacking, they really need to up their game.
Wouldn't recommend at all. Delivery arrives past lunch hours around 2 to 2.30pm . Better to order from the local restaurants because they charged me $30 for 2 meals which didn't taste good either. There are better Indian food options than this. The food tasted stale and worst than the restaurant food. In $15 per meal one can have an awesome Indian meal at a fine dining restaurant.
Horrible experience. Even after several calls and complaining about chapattis being raw, there were absolutely no action taken. They make it a point of serving good chapattis the first month and when you get satisfied they start disappointing you in every possible ways. In addition to this, even after getting the option of selecting menu( which is good), the worse part is they write the selected item on the bag and give wrong items inside. Such a huge disappointment. I don’t know from which angle the one beside masoor daal looks like pudina chicken.
Cons - They don't accept visa/mastercard that is registered on an international address. It needs to be Canadian address or e-transfer. Even though their menu is different, they still run on rotation every month. So after a while you get kinda bored. Their website shows so many different options for their menu but they only rotate with a limited number of the menu items every month. I haven't seen half of the menu being offered. Also their portion sizes are good for Indian Thali's & Biryani's but if you get naan & rice or continental options, their portions sizes are so small, it won't fill your tummy. Also even though they offer different kinds of daal every day, it is very similar in taste. Also they have 2 spice levels but even the spicy option isn't really spicy tbh. It's a western level spicy. Also if you want to get 2 containers of sabzi instead of 1 container sabzi & 1 container daal, they ask for 1$ extra every meal. Which doesn't make any sense cause you are taking away the same amount of food, i.e 2 containers. Also one day I got aloo ki sabzi and the potatoes were so stale, I could smell their bad rotting smell. But that was just once. Every other time, it has been genuinely fresh. I think they must have used day old food or something of that sort. Also dessert, they literally just have meetha suji or raita for dessert. Once a month you get a gulab jamun but that's about it. And the raita is literally just youghurt no kidding. Like it has no veggies or boondi in it. It is not even sweet. It is just plain youghurt with some spices. Pros - Good & easy customer service. They have a chat feature on their website and someone is always online to help you out 24/7 & is very helpful. It is really easy to get any changes done to your account or ask questions. Food is delivered everyday in a timely manner and is kinda warmish when it arrives. You get emailed everyday where you can track your food delivery in real time and it also notifies you when it has arrived. They deliver in compostable bags & containers. And the lids to the containers are recyclable. So I create no garbage. Plus points for being environmentally friendly. Their menu selection process is really simple & you can select the entire week at once. You can also see your entire week's selected menu in 1 page & also edit it and resubmit it. Which I find to be really helpful and user friendly. General info - I have the standard plan and have been using this service for 2 months now.

Until now my experience with Yogi's Kitchen was good. But today I received Chicken Dish in my tiffin although I had selected Paneer (Vegetarian) dish. I have been vegetarian all my life for religious as well as personal reasons and this experience of eating couple of bites of chicken has been really disturbing. They have promised me to compensate $20 and one additional tiffin for this blunder, but still I feel that cannot offset this bad experience.
Being new to Vancouver & being vegetarian person, after seeing mixed reviews still I made mistake of availing Yogi's kitchen tiffin services. From that day till today I'm not happy with the quality of food I'm getting. They don't respond to your emails. I've sent number of emails to them right from asking for receipt of amount I paid, feedback about their food & receiving non-vegeterian food even after opting for vegetarian food. When you call them, half of the times they won't pick or their number will be busy. When you do connect, they ask you all details & assure that their supervisor will call you back to resolve your issue, but then you don't receive any call back. You repeat this again and again and same things keep happening. I would recommend you to not to go for Yogi's kitchen food services especially if you are vegetarian. Adding more content: As per comment on this review, they were supposed to resolve my complaint within 24 hrs. However, it's been 4 days I didn't get any response. Now they aren't even picking my calls. No response to emails as well. Really disappointed.
Great food, best customer service!
Started with their starter package and the food and flavor was good. Then we started receiving delivery super late and sometimes food that has mold growing. It got to a point where everytime I eat their food, I would have a stomach upset. Me and my wife were diagnosed with H. PYLORI infection and although I dont know if yogi's kitchen food caused it, but this is the only change in my diet.

I would like to thank Yogi's kitchen. It was my first time that I moved to lower mainland and ordered your tiffin. It was my very first time that I got all bone instead of chicken, I was tired of eating boneless chicken all the time, thanks for the change and giving all the bones. I hope I'll like these bones or your change in food.
Tried 2 times, once for 2 months and once for 1 month. The food was okay in the beginning and then there were so many thing that made me change my mind. I sharp piece of bone in fried rice, raw rice in biryani, and more, after even contacting them, no forward answer, got a call from them to renew the service, i was assured that my complaints would be acknowledged but alas, nothing ! 3/5 for food and 1/5 for service( 1 for neat packing). More over the delivery guy used to smoke and throws cigarettes butts in front of my driveway!
I had this tiffin service for 3 months and I got stomach infection. One of the shitiest tiffin service and worst food quality. For every dish they have same gravy which taste so bad. I will never recommend this tiffin to anyone

Great food! It's more like a home-cooked meal, not restaurant quality (which is normally very heavy and fat ridden). It's nice when you get tired of Indian food, there are continental options available as well. It's reasonably priced for the quality. I love the service from my driver, Kabir. I even get texts after he has dropped the food at my doorstep. Keep it up!
The service is the best in metro Vancouver but they still have commitment issues. One time the delivery message came after an hour still the order was not delivered
My 1st month with them, took the 2nd option as it has 4 days non veg. Meals are good, delivery guys always drop my food outside apartment as I am at work when delivery occurs. Really good service, food is good variety is nice.
At start, the food was delibered after delivery slot time. But now since few days, delivery is being made within delivery slot. Though I am not getting any text message for delivery tracking but I have been noticing their email for the same. I really like their food, especially few curries like aloo mungre ki sabji, aloo, capsicum, rajma.
Service is poor. Food is okay. Food delivery is expected anytime between 11AM to 2PM for lunch and 5PM to 8 PM for dinner. By no means this 3 hour time window can be utilized to plan a meal. We usually have our lunch by 12.30 PM and dinner by 6.30 PM. The delivery was always at least 1.5 hours delayed. Lunch never arrived before 1.45 PM. The delivery tracking service is useless. You get a link to track your delivery around 11 AM. The driver is usually loaded with 20 deliveries and hence all you can see on the traacking is the route where the delivery guy is moving. From 11 AM to 1.45 PM (the time when finally the meal gets delivered), the estimated deliivery time shown always 5-8 mins. I am not sure, if there is any value in providing a tracking service when there is no personalized experience. The app, as expected is not a great experience. Given the local operations and limited scale, the quality of app isn't something one would ideally expect to be top notch. But still there are major concerns. The payment processor needs a major overhaul. There was a success as well as a failure message for my transaction. I could see a charge on my credit card, but the CS agent confirmed the charge didnt get through. The meal selection is best done on the phone. I wouldnt recommend the service for folks who would want to have meals in a planned time-frame. For the rest, the food is fairly decent and serves the purpose.
The food isn't tasty at all. I am surprised at the 5 star comments posted. The Panchmel dal seemed to be uncooked and the Chicken Jalfrezi was put into a ready made gravy. The portion of the food is okay. But salad is just a joke. No pickle was served. The delivery guy came three hours before the scheduled time and literally threw the package out side the building premises. A genuine feedback you can't survive just based on your interactive website or packing of the food.

The worst delivery service I have ever experienced. They left two packages in front of my condo building because I was 5 minutes late in picking up my phone and both packages were missing. I called customer support but did not receive any help from them, instead they were justifying that I was wrong. Never seen anything like this. Food is also not good and have given me stomach cramps, beware!! Cant give less than 1 star
After trying their one week trial pack, I subscribed for their two months Exclusive plan. I must say their food service is beyond Excellent. Their Indian dishes like Rajma, Kadhi and Yogi special Chicken tastes like home . Another thing because of which I will recommend is their packaging quality it seems hygienic and you can directly put boxes in microwave to heat ❣️
Food is fairly priced, reasonably tasty, and healthy. Super quick and excellent customer service. Although, I wish, they increased the quantities of the meat in the non-veg meals.
You guys deserve negative stars. Thank God there is no option for that. Food quality is really bad. First few days of the plan, they send good food and after that they start sending bad quality food. Salad is not fresh at all. It looks like it has been cut in bulk few days ago and then packed. Daal is overcooked and looks like a paste. Customer service helpine is the worst, they can't help for anything and after wasting so many days refund process took so long and I haven't received the money yet. They just keep wasting customer's time on the call and tries to justify that they have good quality food. But they don't improve anything on their quality. I wish I had seen other reviews of the quality before signing up for this plan. They took cancellation fee in the refund process and also took 20 dollar extra justifying that when you sign up for the meal plan it was on promotion but now it is not on promotion at the time of cancellation. When I sent the picture of daal then there customer service man Akshay said there's no proof that this is Yogi's kitchen box and our food. Shame on you guys.

I wish there was a zero star option. One is still too good for them. After expanding rapidly in Metro Vancouver, they haven't figured out their logistics well. The sophisticated delivery service and meal plans is just a hoax you see it on their website. I tried their meal for a week and loved it. Hence I subscribed for their 3 month plan. As soon as my 3 month plan started, I started facing logistics as well as food quality problems. I've called the customer service more times than I've had their meal. They've the worst and unprofessional delivery and management team. I'm on the verge of filing a consumer complaint. I would never recommend their service.
Worst customer service ever, they will keep committing mistakes like not sending food or changing the menu. Every time you make a complaint they only have one excuse, we are sorry but won’t happen again and yet they keep on repeating it. The customer service people are frustratingly monotonous in their communication, they just keep repeating the same lines without understanding your problems or rectifying it.

Food quality is good so far...but as someone mentioned in reviews already, Delivery Issues 2 times in a week - meal that normally delivered between 5:30- 6:00 was delivered at 9pm, that too after so many phone calls; and yesterday, No Food delivered , saying the food got spilled and wasnt in deliverable condition. C'mon we dont need such excuses. Its your responsibility and your company's name. You need good customer service Yogis.
Okay. I never rate any business with five stars... Two major things with this company. I work twelve hour shifts and get one veg and one meat per shift. I'm not Indian and I love this food. It's not too heavy. Also, I've been demanding because I work graveyards, four on, four off which is out of normal for their ordering website... They have been accommoding. Their customer service has been, spot on!. Sometimes there is a heavy language barrier but they seem to make it work right everytime. I will keep using this service and I highly recommend it!

I don't write reviews too often and I'm still trying it out but I'm mad impressed with the way this operation has been setup. Most Indian-run business in Canada are run like a dhaba outside Chandigarh. Dirty, unorganized, loud, no QC, annoying customer service...you name it. But not this - Yogesh has set up a truly first-world business. It's a lesson for other Indian business owners. PROS: 1. The food is very well packaged, well proportioned, tastes close to home cooking and the menu selection is great. It's on the healthy side too, a big reason why I subscribed. Everything is clean, labelled, and hell, it even has a QC sticker on it. Attention to detail, I like it. 2. The prices are actually quite reasonable for the kind of every day door service. I'm happy with the pricing. Discounts for multiple orders together like families or student housing. 3. The website is a bit iffy at times but there's almost 24x7 customer care on the website. You can track order real-time as they're being delivered - just amazing. They're working on an app too. My apartment drop-off is a bit tricky but the drivers have been super patient and helpful. 4. You can pre-select your week's menu and pause/resume orders online. They have three different levels and it'll satisfy most demands. CONS: 1. Wish there was some way to keep the rotis from drying out. Especially in cold dry Canada. 2. Plastic cutlery option should be part of the menu selection. It should be off by default. The food is great with lots of choices daily. I recently moved from India to Vancouver and their tiffin service has made the life easy for me. I don't have to worry about cooking food daily here and still get the quality homely food. Seeing my daily food menu, even my parents are happy back in India. EDIT#1 12 -June-2019: The owner gave me a call personally the next day to hear me out, which i liked. He advised to microwave rotis for a min before eating, IT WORKED! thanks.
Me and my hubby ordered fried rice and it was horrible.... no human can eat it... complained the same and no action has been taken.....and next day we got acchari chicken and it was basically chicken pieces cooked in tomato salsa... yukkey....everyday we are having some or the other issues.... so canceled my meal plan....

Last month I went to Canada and for first two days I was struggling for good food then one of my friend suggested yogi's kitchen. They got ample variety in their menu to pass my quarantine period. Apologies as this is going to be long as I am going to go in depth for this review, In summary, Great Food and Amazing Customer Service. The delivery may not be their best but no body is perfect. (Please read Detailed summary for this). Ive has their services 2 times, From March 2019 to Jun 2019 and From Jan 2020 till date The one thing that has stayed constant is their spotless customer service. Both the food, the delivery and the menu selection platform have experienced so many positive changes. For the menu selection options- Now we have the option to select either we’d like our food mild or spicy. And on Wednesday and Saturday you have even more options with Continental and Biryani. The Rotis- Earlier the only option was to take 8 rotis and now there is a variety of options with an addition of rice. Delivery as I mentioned already, is their weak link but not something that should bother as its late only few time and just to make things better, they’ve added a tracking system to help customers know how far the food is. The reason why I am explaining it one by one is because they are constantly trying to improve and not forgetting their core values. They value all existing, previous and future customers fairly and with great passion. If you are having any issue, give them a call and they will make sure they’ve done all they could to make it better. An example was the addition of a 5th housemate in my home, the system is limited to 4 people on one account. So we couldn’t get the discount for him. I called the Yogi and he solved the issue in minutes for us. This service is a must have for students and working professionals who already have a lot on their plate and cooking cannot be added.
Strongly recommend this for anyone! Few words to describe my experience from being their customer for a month, I had used their service when my wife was out of country for a month. Yogi’s added incredible value to my time and saved lots of $$ spent in ordering foods from various places and mostly thinking what to order every day. - Excellent Service , Yogesh did an awesome job in communicating, taking requirements, following up with questions, and their communication team interacting with SMS reminders to choose menus, life order tracking with delivery driver phone #. - I had them deliver food to my workplace on weekdays (Vancouver) and to my home on Saturday (Surrey) , no extra charges. On time delivery and approachable and friendly delivery drivers, live GPS order tracking and they provide contact # for driver,m. If you are heading out somewhere, you could even possibly meet them driver at common spot pick up food. - Easy and convenient to use website portal from Yogis kitchen, where you can choose the menu every week, renew subscription, make payments, order extras if reqd, own user login page, etc. If this does not work, just call their toll free and one of their team members will resolve your problem and answer any questions. - Food Quality is way better than any commercial Indian restaurants across mainland, best thing is the variety of dish and different Indian cuisines each day, they also surprise you with some sweet / dessert some days like pudding etc. Overall - 10/10 rating - I can’t ask for more for $240/ month, break it down to 25 days in month < $10 day, which can serve you for lunch and dinner, ease of menu selection, delivery to door step(no added charges), portioning of food can serve two times daily , I would suggest to this to anyone including student, bachelor, working professionals to have lunch delivered to office, guys try this, you will not be disappointed, one less thing to worry about in life when you can have tasty meal at your door step each day at noon sharp!

We chose lunch delivery time (11-2). But they would sometimes deliver at 10 or as late as 2.30??Food is not good quality. Stale chapatis. They use all purpose flour and not whole wheat. Serving size small. Sweet dish & Salad are so minimal that it's a joke to even mention. wouldn't recommend to anyone. Huge rip off.

I have been getting my food from Yogi's Kitchen for the past one year. But the quality and quantity of the food has extremely deteriorated in the past 2 months. The preselected dish is mostly the same and all watery with no taste. Chapatis also does not seem fresh these days. Couple of months ago I was the one recommending my friends about this Tiffin service but now it's no good. Hopefully, you'll work on your taste.

Extremely poor delivery and customer service over the call. The management provides very petty excuses stating stuck in traffic or construction work for the reason to deliver on time. This has happened to be twice already, I have learnt my lesson and will not order through them moving forward.

Started the food service in Sep, in the earlier weeks the food was awesome, but don’t know what went wrong recently faced 3 incidents of stale food within a week’s time. Moreover received partial order once, and on complaining got a answer that they can send missing order next day. Is this a way to compensate?
Yogis is the best food service for working staff and students.
The food is fine but with too much oil sometimes. The rotis are too thick to eat on many days. What I really DID NOT appreciate about Yogi's kitchen is how they are not at all flexible with menu selection. They suddenly changed their policy to select food 48 hours in advance and strongly suggest that we select the menu for the whole week at once. And if you even select a little later there are no exceptions and they dont try to help on that end. They are very obstinate about this and I dont see any reason why I should not receive the food as per my choice. It causes inconvenience. Would not recommend to go for it as there are many other tiffin services who would be happy to accommodate the customers requirements!

I have been with Yogi's Kitchen for quite sometime now and I can say their food is good. The best part about their meal packages are that they can be tailored as per our preference and the number of options that they provide is great compared to what we can think of. Being a working parent Yogi has taken over my kitchen stress and allowed me more time to focus on my family and work.

I tried their service for 3 months. Providing a detailed feedback: Food Quality & Quantity: Food quality and quantity are good for the price. The dishes quantity can suffice two people at a time. One gets to chose additional rotis & rice as well. Note that the salad is a joke. The meals are prepared from the list of dishes provided on the website but there are many dishes which never showed up in the menu selection. After first few weeks, it felt too repetitive. The website has so many "yogi specials", but the ones on the menu were always the same. Meal Delivery: Even after being in the market for so long, they havent figured out their logistics yet! Initially the meal delivery was on time and as I extended the service, the meals were delayed or there was some or the other issue with the delivery. Since their meal tracking app shows the location of the driver but doesn't show the time of delivery accurately, I had to contact them every other day to check on the delivery. Customer Service: Poor customer service. Again, extremely poor logistics.

I have been taking tiffin from them from past one month. What I love about them - Packaging is quite professional and food is great, it's not too oily or buttery, which is perfectly healthy Taste wise- Food is quite favorable, it's medium spicy. Delivery - Till now it have been amazing (To people ordering , please be considerate of people delivering. It's hard to find parking in downtown, and if you come downstairs that's easiest). Till now, I have no complains about their services. Suggestions:Update like everyday if they could send a text beforehand about what time they are going to deliver food would be great.

Probably the most professional and well-managed tiffin service in Metro Vancouver. Their food is DELICIOUS and they give you so many options to choose from! I love how they deliver before lunch time and we can track our driver's journey. I've used many tiffin services in the past year, but Yogi's is what I recommend out of all of them. Worst worst worst food and more worst is their customer service. I told them clearly that we are not getting good food. Their chicken is so hard to chew and consistency of dal is so thin. They even admitted that they used frozen chicken. Beside this I told them that whatever food we got until now just get that deducted and refund rest of our money however these guys still sending the food and never refunded my money back. We don’t have time to cook food because of busy schedule with work and only thing I want when I am come back from work is to eat good food and If I am paying for to get good food then whats the big deal for you guys to make good food. The only time you give good service is when you charge after that you don’t care what your customers are receiving. Guys please don’t ever ever get the food from here its genuine advice no jokes.
Honestly I have no words to describe how awesome Yogi's food is. It tastes good when you eat it, feels good afterwards because they don't overdo it with the oil etc, so it feels healthy. Their online meal booking and selection system is super user-friendly and delivery is always on time. I will echo other reviewers here in saying that the food has a home-cooked quality to it. Not enough positive words to give these folks. Buy their plans without hesitation... you won't regret it.

one of the worst food service ever . Food was too much oily and roti's are a bit too hard but the most epic part is there website . which is super buggy and confusing while order for couple option. for saturday when i was about to order it shown my credit 0 when i had 4 credit left and they defaulted it to chef's special. dall and alu . 40 dollar for 12roti+2rice+2dall and 2allo . Customer service is also very poor and non coperative. My worst food experience ever . i will never never never nevrer recomment them .
BUYER BEWARE! So I have been using their food service for over three months. Initially, I liked the service. But slowly and gradually their food quality kept getting worse! To a point that I started having health issues. You can find more review related to their food quality. In this review, I want to talk about something else. REFUND POLICY SCAM: So, in their policy they mention how they will refund you if you do not like their food, and will refund you for only the unused portion. Well, this is where things get interesting. I bought their 3 months subscription at a discounted price (because they usually have these offers going on). I paid about $611 including all discounts for 3 months. Total credits = 72 (24 times 3) I used only 33 credits at the time of requesting a refund. So, credits left = 39. Now, they use the full price of the meal to calculate the refund. BUT..a BIG BUT here... How they calculate is a big scam and quite funny actually: The full price of the meal = 11.81 (remember I bought this at a discount). 11.81 times no. of credits used. = $414.73 and how much I paid = 611 (discounted value) So, my final refund will be about $196. and they will deduct another $25 as a cancellation fee. How is that fair? How is it fair to use the full value of the meal to calculate the refund when I paid a discounted value of the subscription? Either it should be both at discounted or both at a full price. It can be hard to use the discounted value of the meals but we do know how much they charge for a 3 month meal service without discounts. Why not just use that instead? Well, I will let you people decide if you want to use this service or not. I feel its a big mess. Food is anyway quite bad and when you have policies like these...I would recommend staying away from them. Hope you all find this useful. Pros: -Website. Call center who seems to be available when called IF YOU SUBSCRIBE to their plan. Cons: -Bad Food. I shouldn't say bad on food. But the food is not what you paid for. -Not at all what shows in pictures and website. -Time of delivery is not at all same and one has to wait long hours even after their "time slots". -It seems like they paid for advertising and website design the only good thing is the website and the first search result. -Don't trust them and fell for the website. MAYBE if you are in surrey, you might be getting fresh food otherwise it ain't great. -There are other options out there and try a day or week before you opt for a monthly or longer plans. -Refund takes forever and its very frustrating. -Even the feedback is a typical copy paste and it doesn't change a bit. WATCH OUT. ITS NOT WORTH THE PRICE AND TIME.
Curries are really good. I have been eating from this place for 2 weeks now. Only suggestion for Yogi's Kitchen team would be make the roti's a little thinner. You may like it at the start but not after a week or two. I would prefer it to be like Phulka, easy to chew and good to taste buds.

Awesome, now we don't have to order from Skip or go to an Indian restaurant. The student plan has 6 days a week of Indian food. The executive plan has 6 days a week of Indian, salads, Chinese, and Italian. Excellent order tracking service. Just this evening the order hasn't reached yet.
Yogi's kitchen does provide some really good food. The meals are light, delicious and feels good unlike the restaurant Indian food out there. That being said the non-vegetarian dishes can be a bit heavy. Their customer service is responsive, helpful and the food service in general is extremely convenient. The food arrives on time and is usually warm enough to eat immediately. I sometimes have to re-heat the rotis since I like them really hot. Their customer support is really prompt and helpful. I've had a mix-up happen with my order due to some miscommunication and they have been very understanding. My biggest critique is that the website interface can be a bit more user friendly as the specials and continental options are easy to miss. Other than that, Yogi's provides good value for it's service. I would love to see them branch into some other kinds of indian food out there as well!
A consistent 5/10. Never goes up, never goes down. Their rôtis can be used for multiple things other than eating, like stabilising the short leg of a table/ chair, dry wall and even self defence. Thé rôtis are really bad, very dry and hard. Their salad mainly comprises of radishes and onions. The top contestants to make your body odour unbearable. If you are lucky you will get one slice of tomato. Mostly they just give radishes. But the service has a great system, to select menu, track and even customer service. The quantity is also great. probably that’s the problem. Their motto seems to be quantity over quality. Because the quality barely meets the standard. The notifications are really annoying, 2 messages and mails for every meal, and customer service insists that it is unavoidable. It is the cheapest option in the tiffin services. And they do offer sweet dishes which is often good. A reminder of what good food can feel like.
A pretty good solution for helpless students. The food quality and taste is great. Dishes might seem a little repetitive but I have to order for more time to judge better. The website is not their greatest asset, It has its own problems but the customer service helped me every time the website malfunctioned.

Yogis Kitchen delivers fresh and yummy Indian food... I have been eating their tiffins since a few months..they make me feel like I never left home! Amazing vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Their continental dishes are really good as well. Really love their pasta in rose sauce and grilled fish. The quantity is amazing. The food is usually enough for two people.. they even offer options of choosing the level of spiciness which is a really good addition to their services since different people have different preferences. Yogis Kitchen is a University survival kit for me and my room mates!!
My opinions after 1 year of service. Istill renewed my subscription and after 1 year these are my observations. Delivery : This starting year since this whole week my food was delivered late at almost 9 pm. The driver placed the food in front of the entrance of my condo complex.I live on the 4th floor and food was placed at the front door of the entrance on the main floor in the rain!!. This is the second time this was done. No buzzer or call, total disregard for delivery service.Yesterday again the food was late, call from customer service advising it will be late and will be delivered to entrance! had to cancel delivery due to the tardiness. I have yet to see a credit for this. It would have taken another hour from time of call. I received an email that food was delivered at 9 pm. I literally had to go down 4 floors to the from entrance with the food package opened, on the floor ,obviously someone looked into it and placed it back. Unhealthy with cats, dog animals passing by.They need to improve their SOP as this is definitely in violation of Health Note :The only driver that actually is on time is Maninder. Food : The food well the roti's are getting thicker and harder and there are time when one can assume that some older roti's are packed together with fresh. The Daal is good and the Sabji's need to be improved as there are more potatoes than the vegetables itself. Of the whole year i only had one occasion of the okra. Continental: This is where they need major improvement. The fried rice is no where what a fried rice recipe should be. it has a sweetness to it and not close to what a fried rice taste.Lack of necessary spices. The pasta also tends to have a sweetness taste and needs improvement. By clicking on spicy doesn't necessarily get you spicy. Customer Service : Needs improvement as they need to listen to client, i was explaining to customer service when she called to advise of the late service second time in a week that i will not accept food that late and i will not accept food delivered to front entrance of building complex and she claimed she didn't understand my concerns go figure! Conclusion : This will be my last attempt to see if any improvements are made in both the delivery and food. I see they have increased the prices lets see if the increase and improve their efficiency, quality and service.

Worst experience ever ... first lunch order never arrived, promise it would come in the evening instead; never did. This company lies so much, I called my visa company for a charge back, said They would refund me .. did not do that either. Biggest headache I’ve had this year. Stay away, unless you want unpredictable service and no food. Food only when they feel like Delivery to you.
I am changing my review to one star after being a customer for close to one year. There are two major issues which are causing me to discontinue yogis kitchen. - Issue 1: Food has lots of spices. This amount of spices(garam masala) cannot be consumed on daily basis. The food has to be palatable to be eaten everyday. I do suspect this is done to avoid food going stale but it is just impossible to eat this everyday. People will soon have gastric issues by eating this food. - Issue 2: Delivery service is pathetic. My food gets delivered between 1:30 pm to 2pm which is way too late for lunch. Also, this food is sitting outside without refrigeration for hours inside a car trunk and it tastes horrible and stable by the time it is consumed. One recommendation I have is please have a page where existing customers can leave feedback on the website. Also, I can pay more for quality food. I am not looking for discounts and can pay more money for better food. Please improve the quality of your food. For now, I am exploring other options for delivery services but not Yogis Kitchen.

This is the worst tiffin I have ever had, the food all taste the same does not matter if it's sabji or dal it taste the exact same. I have called this company multiple times to complain about food not being delivered and food not tasting right multiple times. They always tell me we will get our senior to contact you, but they never do. I have contacted them multiple times and have talked to mulitple people in the company and they always say the same thing. This is the worst Tiffin to order because they always have excuses about why my food can not be delivered and I have asked to get a refund on the days they have missed my delivery but they always deny my refund. I've spent $170 on ordering food or eating out because my tiffen could not be delivered on the days they could not deliver. All I am asking is for a refund for the days they could not deliver my food. I have a video with there call support and if I don't get a call back from their senior I will be posting that video on social media.

For anyone who wants good Indian food on a regular basis, which has a proper home made feel, is not greasy or heavy, and is very, very reasonably priced, I cannot recommend this service enough. I've been using this service for a few weeks, and every dish they serve is brilliant (note: I have not tried the continental or special meals, just the regular dinner dishes).

I was finding it difficult to cook regularly and was looking for tiffin services that could help me in the interim. That's when i found Yogi's. I was skeptical at first mainly reg. taste and continued quality over weeks.. But I must say, that I have loved the food and the variety they have each day. Also the quantity of each portion would easily last atleast for a second or third serving (if not more!).. Furthermore, the Customer Service at Yogi's were exceptional! They have been very prompt and helpful. So if you are in quarantine or struggling with cooking or just need a break from all the kitchen experiments over the past year(!!), Yogi's Kitchen can make life a little easy for you :)
I'd like to give zero stars Food is worst and not healthy. When I reported this, they said they don't have any issue with other customers. Not ready to take suggestions/complains or to improve. When I cancelled my package, they are not processing refund since 3 weeks. When I call customer care they are saying refund is processed and pending with bank. Called bank and verified that they didn't process any refund. Worst service ever

This is a convenient, regular service of indian food. The food is decent and well made, and the indian food servings are good. And their customer service is responsive. However, they do not have much variety in either indian or continental foods, and I'm not too impressed with their continental options (often different sandwiches or pasta) or serving size, which is small.
They deliver on time and you are free to select from a variety of side-dishes every day. It is not too rich like regular restaurant food can be. It is more like a home-cooked meal. We have had it for over 3 months now and we love it! It is very convenient and well worth it!

Day by day food quality is deteriorating. Yesterday I opted for Masala Khicdhi but they gave me khichdi just like a gravy. It was full of water only.There is no option to share the pics otherwise I should have uploaded the pics and video of the Same so that other customers can also see what kind of food are they supplying. I sent them the pics as well video, spoke to their Manager also but nothing happened. Worst part is their customer service. So many times I called them to give the feedback, but their standard reply is , will get back to you within 24 hrs, which never happens. I wanted to speak to the owner, they didn’t share his phone # and said he will call me back within 24 hrs but no courtesy to call up the customers even after 30 hrs. Most shocking again today’s Aaloo Gobhi veggie was also stale. At 12.45 pm it was delivered to me, started eating lunch at 1.30 pm , it already started smelling. So continuous 2 days they supplied sub-standard food. It’s really pathetic that even after giving the regular feedbacks and complaints they don’t bother to improve the quality of food. Got their trial for one day. They have a horrible delivery service. Our team had to change schedule to eat lunch because it was delivered way too early. I got in touch with customer care and Mr. John stated "This is how it works. I can send my driver back at 1 PM with the same food". So basically he was gonna drive around with the food for next 3 hours and then deliver it. Food was really cold on delivery. Food quality was on the fence. I was thinking to making it regular but they lost a customer.

Ordered from Yogis kitchen Tiffin for 1 month and still continuing. One of the nicest people I’ve dealt with. Food is fantastic and delivered on time right to my door as requested. Highly recommend to all to order from yogis. Really loved their sweets, main dishes and options to select (8 different options to choose from daily). They provide roti and rice, raita, salad and pickle. This quantity is sufficient for both of us. Love they way they take customers feedbacks into consideration, I have received total 3 calls for sharing my feedback and advise over quality and I loved this as this is the only way for a company to maintain their standards.
Very disappointing experience overall. I signed up for 3 months subscription to take benefit of 150$ off promo last year. Here is the breakdown based on my experience: - Food quality: Average (most of special curries paneer/egg/chicken/mixed veg have exact same saucy curry. After a week or 2 you will begin skipping the order for this reason) - Customer Service: Poor (Once a new delivery guy couldn’t deliver the meal and I started following up two and half months back on resolution explaining what happened to each new agent I was promised for call back resolution within 24 hour and I am still waiting to hear back. No less than a joke) - Delivery: Good (the regular delivery guy has been very consistent throughout except for the days when a delivery person backfills)

The food has been excellent in the past but lately I have been received incorrect orders and I have felt a little compromise with quality of the food as well. Today’s veg biryani which although was an incorrect order was spicy to extent of burning my intestines. I am still your customer so please be careful as you guys have a great deal going for yourselves.

I came across this tiffin service through a social networking site. I did not have good experience with tiffin service earlier in Vancouver, so I was a bit skeptical at first. But, with a newborn at home it's difficult to cook for me. So, I went ahead and purchased the subscription. Because of my earlier bad experience, I had too many questions to ask. Luckily, they have a chat platform on their websites and I was really impressed by it. Their customer service is really great, which is hardly available with tiffin services. They also have options to select in their menu, which is a plus point. The price is reasonable and the quantity on a single lunch is more than enough for 2 people. Food tastes just like homemade with less spices and oil. Overall, I will highly recommend this tiffin service.

The worst customer service, i had ordered food with them and for my last week of service i had three meal credits with them, because of a confusion i did not receive my meal for one day, i called customer care so many times telling my entire situation and they could not come with a resolution. My money for one day got wasted, i was not provided with the food, they didnt compensate me and i wasted so much of my time with the online customer care people. Worst experience ever, will never recommend ever the service to anyone. The service was good untill today. I got a monthly subscription and had to leave for a couple of weeks for work so i put my services on hold. I came back and wanted to resume my subscription however I got an error message saying my subscription has expired and inwknr be able to get the remaining 12 meals that I have paid for. When I spoke with online chat support they advised that even tho I put the subscription on hold it still expires at the same time. What kind of hold is that and why are you even calling it a hold ? Answert to your response, I was never offered to renew my subscription to get the credit. Also , what's the point of pause function ?

Spoke to Pauline(at customer service), she is a wonderful lady who suggested me as per my diet and this is my 3rd week and still I am getting new indian sabji. Delivery guy Rajan, one of their best delivery person who understands and try to cater request in the time of need. I have referred more than 4 of my friends, and received a positive feedback from them too. To be honest i had tried couple of tiffin services before and I find yogis kitchen best. First of all you can customize your menu so you wont get bored of having same menu like other kitchens. Secondly quality and quantity of there tiffin is excellent and last but not least 24/7 customer service if anything goes wrong you can call them anytime and they will fix it for you.
Beware of them guys,The worst service one can ever receive. Firstly we got a nail in our food. Instead of apologizing, the team started arguing. On top they don't know how to take complaints and serve their customers better. Staff has zero etiquettes. Thank God that was just a trial package. I felt like vomiting as I got a nail in my last bite. After showing them pictures of the nail, they threatened us that do whatever you want instead of compensating. Putting this review to make other customer aware of the ingredients that you guys may get in your food and the kind of services they provide. I never asked for wallet credit, I talked to them twice and both times I asked for free meal credit. But when I asked for a free meal after, you guys started arguing with my mom and never gave us. It was a trial package, why would I even think of having that money in my wallet after such a bad experience. And we never agreed upon the spice thing.I told you that I went specially to her and saw the nail, you cannot make fool out of your customers, there is difference between chewing a spice and a nail. And as I told you, we are Indians too, so we know what mace spice is and what a hand nail is. Instead of arguing and as an apology for the inconvenience, it wouldn't have made much difference of changing that meal credit in wallet to a free meal as it charges the same but for that your staff should be trained on communication skills first.
The only good thing is they deliver timely. I had ordered food for 2 months and paid up for 3 months, their food is not according to my liking I’ll say, and since past 3 weeks I’ve been getting back to them to initiate my refund and idk what they’re upto, every single time their representative be like ‘Allow 24- 48 hours’ and I keep telling them it’s been past 3 weeks, that I’d let them know to cancel their service and initiate the refund, seems like they’re hard of understanding! And even after getting a food service, I usually ended up throwing all their food in the bin as it is, first the fridge then the bins, regardless of any day! Horrible experience

Biggest Joke of 2022. Yogi's kitchen increased their price its a joke because their quality is decreasing every single day unlike their pricing. I tried their exclusive plan just for a month for lunch and dinner both. The food is just horrible. I spent $600 for their service and still bought food from outside. What a waste of my Canadian Dollars ????. Special mention to their Biryani which is supposedly Chef's special. Well if the Chef has a speciality of putting Chaat Masala in the biryani than I guess that is special. Their food taste is just hit and miss with more misses then the hits. That's my real issue with them.

Loved their food, I've tried a tiffin service before for the same price as the standard package and I had to ask her not to deliver that food because I got food poisoning. but yogis food is AWESOME. The best thing is you dont have to cook after doing two fulltime jobs like me. Food taste exactly as its homemade. The quantity and quality are both on top of the standards. And also their delivery service is amazin, will email you right after delivering the food which is great. WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED. Also ignore the negative comments they might be some other tiffin service owners

The food quality is going down day by day. Chicken do pyaza on 17th August was absolutely stale! I let it go for once. But Gobi matar today (18th Aug) was stale as well. It looks like you guys just warm the frozen food instead of cooking it fresh. Absolutely disappointed with YogisKitchen. Whats the point of charging so much money if you cant even cook fresh food. Please understand that the health of your customers is at stake! I'm unsubscribing from next month!!!
Got stale and stinking curry today. The curry had fungus on it. Their claim of providing "fresh food" is a LIE. If you still wanna go with their service, I would advice you to smell and inspect your food before eating. You can't trust them!!
Everything is amazing about Yogi's Kitchen, Great Website, great 24X7 Support. EXCEPT they just make all the indian dishes super thick and dry. Requested them to make it usual watery but no changes. All of my friends with Yogi's believe the same. If Yogi's look at this review, please think about making the change.
Great option to save time on cooking and if you want to eat properly than skimp on meals. Customer service through chat is very helpful as well. I would recommend standard plan with 4 meals per week.
Update: the customer service is responsive indeed but the whole system is ineffective at best. I have tried to renew twice in the last couple months and both times payment has failed and locked my account without notice. Just recently - in order to make use of the Diwali promotion, I paid for a subscription starting in January but somehow that cancelled out my existing subscription and just lost the meal credits that I had. Really frustrating to deal with issues like this. Edit: changing to three stars as they have made a change recently to package food in plastic containers. A backwards step in my opinion and not eco friendly. Super impressed with quality of food and customer service. Love that you can do everything online. They use compostable containers and paper bags. The minimal plastic used is all recyclable I believe.

I have had a wonderful experience with Yogi's Kitchen and would recommend to everyone. Staying away from our home country but having homelike food is blessing. I have tried other tiffin services near Delta as well, but have not experienced the food quality which I have experienced here. My tiffin seems fresh always and I have it with delight. They have maintained the hygiene level which I had always had a bad experience with others but here I have always received the tiffin packed properly. The delivery has been very smooth and I have never been bothered to track, call or follow the person who is there for the delivery.

First month was good, but taste quality is degrading day by day. Thier website have more than 100+ items but i assure you food items they deliver will be the same, just name will be twisted. Disappointed with the taste, so sugary seems thier chef only knows how to make only 1 gravy for all thier Dishes. I had recommended to all my roommates and freinds, but now i feel sorry for them because using thier service for one month they decided to cancel because of low quality of food being delivered. Instead of getting full refund they only received half what they paid.

Cons: One Masala/flavour for every dish. From paneer to any daal. Rice quality is substandard. Pros: Good website on how we can select the food and customer service is responsive and helpful but whats the good for if there food taste is no good.
Food was not fresh. Foul smell was coming from the food. You can tell food was not fresh at all and it happen three times within 2 week and happen two times consequently.

The features I love about Yogis: home delivery, Shelly the person who drops off food delivers food with a smile , healthy , food is not spicy and can suit many people, continentals on Wednesdays are a good alternative choice for those who want a little change from Indian cuisine, price is very reasonable, flexible- one choose 4 to 6 meals a week. This home delivery food service is best suited for students, working adults, seniors......pretty much anyone who loves Indian food. Way to go Yogi's.

Tried their service for a month. Overall the food was decent. The curries were usually pretty good to taste, however, it seemed like the beans/sprouts like red kidney beans, mixed daal were not properly cooked and hard to digest. Rotis were a disappointment - under cooked and pretty thick for most park. Quantity is good. Salad wasn't always fresh. Saturday biryani was definitely the best part! Deliveries were on time and in the given time slot. Online chat support is excellent- always available and ready to help. Overall, decent service!

I had paused my service for 6months as i went back to india and then due to covid i had to continue the pause. I wanted to resume it after covid is gone. Which is highly unlikely to happen anytime soon. So i wanted to check if i could get refund for unused credits. Initially i was told by chat representative that even if ur account is paused ur meals get expired after sometime. And then next day I got call from yogi kitchen and I was told that the chat representative is new and he/she is unaware about the policy. And that meals does not get expired if its on pause but we cannot refund you the money as it was on pause for long time.( my account did not have those credit when i got call, so not sure why it got expired on first place.) If i have not used the service and paused it. I dont see reason why refunds are not awarded. There refund policy clearly stated if you wanna cancel subscription then you get you money back. I can always transfer this meal to my friend. That is not the issue. The fact that for $200, yogi kitchen is forcing me to use the service is absurd. Well after covid is gone i will still need tiffin service and it won't be yogi's kitchen. This is subscription based model which meams you need loyal customers. Not sure if this is the way to go. I am talking after I resumed it for a month for my friend I had to put on pause as i was not here. Also, you mentioned I called you in March 2020, please post some call logs or chat logs whatever you have to support your claim. another False accusation. My service was on hold all the time since the pandemic had started when i landed on march 13, 2020 and I contacted your chat service ths week. I have a email transcript of the chat i had with your representative. I can post that here so that you are also aware of the situation. you chat representative actually said i only contacted you around august 26th when i was buying the plan. and thn i never called u guys. only reason i bought two months plan was because i was told i could put it on pause as long as i want. I was going to india which was pre- planned. I know u have validity thingy but i was told they will be ok if i pause it for longer period. u can check the call recording. its ok if you don't refund the money. I m just saying this wont last with competition.

Customer support is amazing
Very inefficient web support, website crashes half the time. Tracking software is failing most of the time. Very rude customer support staff. Lot of loopholes in the system. Besides the chicken curry has 4 to 5 tiny cubes in the name of chicken. Had a horrible experience with these guys. They dont have option to change address on a 1 week trial, so called them to change address to my residence because I am not at work on Saturday. They said they have noted the change, but didn't..my food was sent to my office..and so they cancelled that order and said would deliver dinner instead, again their tracking software failed and was showing me an ETA of 9 mins for half hour, because of which again the delivery was missed. And when I called them they were so rude and blaming me for everything. And blatantly said they will not give my food today. Basically on my weekend I had no food delivered!
Really good food , timely delivery always. The part that I love is that the standard subscription is so customizable . it is like Uber for Indian tiffin service. I even spoke to Yogi , that guy is a visionary. Kudos to yogis kitchen!

My experience has been really good. The food is less spicy, something which you can have every day without upsetting your stomach. They are very punctual on delivery time.
This is a request to Yogi's kitchen and less of review. Please decrease the amount of garam masala in your food. The food is too spicy for daily consumption. I have gastric issues and can no longer eat this food due to all the garam masala's added. When your website has the option to select "mild" please ensure it is really mild. Please make food edible(less spices) for daily consumption.
Here's a review after using their service for 2 months : 1. The service good but they're not punctual. 2. Call center and chat staff is RUDE! 3. Website has bugs. Due to this reason, I've had missed meals, got them when I didn't want etc. Food: 1. Food is good. 2. Salad is NEVER fresh. It always smells bad. 3. Spice level is inconsistent. Sometimes even the mild feels spicy and even spicy feels mild. 4. Dessert is so-so

Yogi's has great food, amazing service, and to top it all off, they're crazy affodable, which is perfect for students! Their food gets delivered on time, they are very accomadating, and they're also very quick at responding to concerns. The food is Indian heaven :)
Zero stars, pathetic food. The literally food smelled, had to toss it into the trash straight away. Atrocious chat support service and refund process. The support person couldn't/din't confirm the refund amount and asked for 24 hours to calculate it.

Rotten food the third time and extremely rude customer service. Updated review: In the past they have delivered rotten daal that made me sick and I was on bed rest for two days. Anyhow since it was the first time and they apologized I let it go. But today I received rotten food for the third time. The scum forming can be seen in the image and the food was smelling bad. Naturally I complained to the customer service. But had the most humiliating experience. The person was extremely rude and ill behaved. They did not believe me and asked me to share picture of the rotten food. Well ofcourse they did not compensate for the rotten food and inconvenience. Although everytime I complaint they say they cook fresh food I am not convinced anymore. I have been cooking indian food since forever and food never go bad even when leaving outside overnight. To make it more humiliating the person offered me 2 dollars as an apology. It's worthy of a complaint to a health department. And it's worth noting that I have been taking food from them from past one year. Their such behavior clearly shows the value they put in customers. Will never recommend this service to anyone. And myself will look around for indian meal services as there are quite a few.

You may not receive you food but you will receive an email saying that food is delivery…Bot so happy with the service. Customer care most probably say they will call you back after talking to the driver but guess what you will get no calls back. And then i tried calling again after couple of hours the customer respresentative said why you did not call us when you didnot get the food. GUESS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR A CALL BACK. AT the end they said it may be stolen. That doesnot make sense for me at all. I was at that place all time when food was delivered. Also it was very discret place at the back of the house. It was completley private.

Very unreliable meal deliveries. They don’t maintain timings with their meal deliveries. And they cancel the delivery of the meals in the last minute as late as 8 pm. Horrible delivery service. And the customer service team is just as clueless.

Very bad experience. Yogis delivery was late by 3 hrs. They didn’t answer calls also. I don’t recommend any one to order from yogis.

Worst dlivery service ever seen. I live in the basement they dliver my food on gurbage bin on floor ( one day there were insects on my food ) From 2 months i am with them but this month gona be my last month paying so high as compare to rest of the dlivery service but such a poor thing. I have lost 3 meals this month. One the dlivery guy left it on the front door some one took it second left on floor insects on it. Third was on gurbage bin seriously they should use some brain. This is my last month i am dobe with this. I have given clear instructions how and where to dlever but. I will not recommend this to anyone.

Extremely unprofessional. Very rude. Horrible customer service. Drivers are 30 minutes late every day as there is an accident every day. Food quality has gone down and never fresh. They will argue with you that they are right forever but when you ask them to fix the issue they will not have an answer. Never ever recommend to anyone.

When we signed up for Yogi's kitchen tiffin service, I honestly dint expect this kind of nicely packed and sealed food will be delivered every single day. I feel this was one of our best decision to sign-up for their services. We save so much on our grocery cost and we save time that we can spend as a family.

Initially the food we get is fresh and good but as the days passes it's going worse and worse.Moreover, the food is not even fresh and we are thinking to discontinue these services.
Very Flexible, Shivani from the call center was of tremendous help. I had to make last minute delivery address changes as I had to call in sick from work, to deliver to my house, and Shivani and her team arranged to get an Uber to drop my lunch because all drivers were already out for delivery. Great customer service support
It’s awesome when you come back from work and you don’t have to cook! Delicious food delivered right at the doorstep. Love the convenience. Variety of vegetarian curries is very good and tastes equally good. Note that it is tawa roti and not phulka. Would be great if we could use our own food containers to reduce plastic containers.

I would not recommend anyone to use there services(not even my enemy). Very bad delivery service and even the food quality is not good. I kept waiting for the food to arrive, i waited for 4 hours and at the end it was not delivered and they told to arrange my food by some other means.

I would give them a negative rating but google doesn't have any option for that worst tiffin service ever. I read their google reviews before starting the tiffin service and there were lot of negative reviews but I still decided to get a 1 week trail and paid all in advance. I got 3 tiffins per day for the trail and today was the first day of the trail. I got a call from their customer care and they told me that one driver will deliver me 1 tiffin and the second driver will deliver me other 2 tiffins but I only got 1 tiffin. I contacted customer care and they assured me that I will be getting my other 2 tiffins. I waited for 4 hours still no one delivered the tiffins. They didn't even bothered to contact me and ask that whether the tiffin was delivered or not. After waiting for 4 hours I called them and they told me," Sorry we cannot deliver your food, you have to arrange the food for yourself". If I had to do so why would I have started the tiffin service on the first place. VERY BAD SERVICE I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY OR MONEY.
Really poor quality food for the price
Shortage of manpower is reflected in the food. It is usually the same dark brown dal and reddish curries. Institutional food. Packaging is very good, but delivery is very erratic. Would not recommend.
1) Delivers at neighbor's home, called customer support and they suggested I go food hunting to find my food. Happened 2 times. One time the food was at a different street! 2) On some days, does not provide rotis, no reimbursement, no notice. In the end I am left with less food and have to buy it from grocery. After instances like this I'm left wondering if this service being run out of a garage. I understand that sometimes unprecedented things happen but the real issue is customer support will just say 'this or that happened we apologize' and leave it at that. It feels like I am talking to a kid who made a mistake and just says sorry for the sake of ending the issue. This is the most unprofessional catering service I have seen.
Food is great. Price is affordable. Liked the flexibility about the schedule and deciding about the food. Only company that delivers food throughout lower mainland, so a positive thing about getting the food wherever you live.
Horrible customer service. Delivery guy didn't leave my tiffin and when i called the customer service. I was offered no help and they replied we can’t do any thing. Neither they called the delivery guy nor offered any credit for the same ahead. Won’t recommend to anyone.
Most Worst food ever ! Food was sour! Delivery service is worst service in the world I got always late in the evening like 9:00 pm! I ordered food for my husband but it was unprofessional and untrained cook ! I would like to give even one star ! Don’t waste your money with yogi and eat healthy! I have no lot of choice for tiffin service in my area but it ok I will cook at home !
