Had a gluten free falafel sandwich on gluten free laffa bread and it was delicious! I ordered through Door Dash and was concerned that I hadn't received a gluten free sandwich because it wasn't labeled. When I called the store, the woman who answered was so helpful. She confirmed the sandwich was gluten free and informed me that she has substituted substituted friends for salad because their fries are coated in breadcrumbs. I will eat there again! My husband had a shwarma sandwich (not gluten free). He said it was good but had too many mushrooms. But he said the fries were delicious.

They indeed have the best falafel in town! Prices are decent too, and they take cards. They’re quite popular and it’s a small store, so expect to wait a while to get your food. But honestly, it’s worth the wait. PS: They have a couple tables outside so you can sit and eat.

TL;DR: definitely go try their offerings. I had previously only ordered their falafel trio via UberEats, but decided to go visit in person. After being warmly welcomed by their staff and buying a box of baklava, I also got a chance to sample their shish taouk and 'general tao'. It was absolutely tasty and flavorful. Will definitely return to try more of their menu.

Very bad costumer service especially from the blonde hair woman. As an uber eats driver I was treated really badly by her when I tried to pick up an order, I was very polite and didn't rush her or anything and in fact she was laughing with other costumers but when I asked her about the order I wanted to pick up she suddenly changed her face expressions and told me to wait "we are busy" even though she was not. Overall really bad expreince and I had to cancel the delivery order and won't accept any orders from this place again because I have a feeling that she treated me like this because of my ethnicity and name as she might be Israeli and hated to treat me nicely because she assumed I was an Arab.

Ordered the vegetarian shish taouk plate. So. Good. I have never had a vegetarian meat that tastes and behaves so closely to the real thing... I honestly checked and rechecked the menu and website to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake. Everything I got was flavourful and delicious, and the pita was super soft and fresh ????????

Look you’ve got to try this resto takeout. Vegan. So delicious ????. I had the Falafel plate ???? with three choices of salad and you get that warm home-made bread patty-not-a-pita for 14.99$, so much on that plate! Food is so healthy AND delicious.

Serves Israeli-style pita sandwiches, amazing variety of salads and vegetarian dishes, including mock General Tao chicken and Mongolian beef. Falafels are among the Top 3 I've tried (including in Israel). This platter has 4 falafels, hummus and hot sauce, 2 slaws, 4 salads, and a pita for $13.99. Standouts were the mushroom salad and sweet potato salad. Brussel sprouts were roasted in maple syrup and a bit sweet for my liking. Easily shareable and filling for 2 people.

I'm from the USA, and I've had everything from falafel food trucks to upscale Mediterranean food. However, I can say with confidence that this is the *best* middle eastern/Mediterranean food I've ever had and to date my favorite restaurant. Every single time I come to Montreal, I specially go out of my way to come to this restaurant (even when there's pouring rain!). Not only is every single dish delicious and high quality, but the prices are also very reasonable. The falafel is incredible, the eggplant is awesome, and the shishtaouk is phenomenal (a must try!). I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves middle eastern cuisine!

This place is a gem in Montreal. Everything is fresh and tastes fantastic. I haven’t had a better Falafel in my life and their Shawarma made from Mushroom is a must try. 10/10. We went there all three days we were in Montreal. If we were staying more we would have gone again! The owners are fantastic and kind people.

Some of you lucky few already know of falafelstjacques and have already enjoyed its amazing vegetarian options. But for those of you that are just finding out about this place for the very first time, get ready. . falafelstjacques also speaks to me on a personal level. It's Israeli owned by Ronen Baruch who is Jewish, and its managed by Saleh Seh who is a Palestinian from Israel. This Jewish-Palastinian duo have been working together since 2004, and they show us that food really brings the people together. . As a meat eater, I was skeptical the first time I walked in and they told me that all of the meat is substituted with a mix of mushrooms. At first, I wasn't convinced that they would get the same taste and texture that meat has to offer, but honestly, they really pull it off! . The flavours are so amazing, the spices are simply on point with a traditional shawarma you would get in Israel. The Pitas are made fresh daily, and so are all of the 12+ salads they have to choose from that change on a day to day basis. This insures the importance of freshness, quality and a standard they really live up to. . Come here for the Shawarma, for the Falafel which they are WORLD renowned for, or even some of their many many Jewish baked desserts which are also made daily. One thing is for sure, you will leave full and satisfed!

Delicious truly authentic falafel, you'd think you've teleported to the middle east. The eggplant salad, humus and babaghanoush are the best I've had in the city.

We were in the area and decided to give it a try after numerous recommendations from friends. We ordered the hummus falafel plate which consisted of falafel balls drizzled in tahini sauce and harissa sauce embedded in hummus accompanied by a Mediterranean garden salad and red/green cabbage slaws as well as three house salads and homemade baked pita. The prepared salads we tried were: sweet brussel sprouts, mint cherry tomatoes, Portobello mushrooms, potato, Thaï eggplant, and spiced cauliflowers. Everything was delicious and flavorful. It is the best Middle-Eastern vegetarian cuisine. A hidden gem if you are in the Ville Saint-Pierre area.
