I love their pizza but the hours and policies are sooooo ridiculous and inconvenient. I've called three times on either a Thursday or Friday night to order a pizza for pick-up... there's reply was "we can't make pizza right now". Today I called to place an order and they said it will take 90 minutes before it's ready for me to pick it up. I keep hoping the service will improve but this doesn't seem likely. It's such a shame because their pizza and cannoli are excellent. This being said I don't care how good your food is, you actually need to make an effort to serve your clients adequately.

I will admit I didn't try the food. I had an espresso which was okay. The server was nice and the atmosphere cozy. The customers seem to be regulars. I will be honest that out of all places I eat out at I am the pickiest about Italian, my native cuisine and being born and raised in Italy, our family made everything from scratch. I find Italian in Montreal could be really good and authentic or substandard and "Americanized" Italian. I found at Eatalie to be the latter based on looks alone. The pastries looked stale and commercialised. The mains were not appetizing looking. When we arrived and I looked at the items I didn't feel stimulated to try anything by the looks or smell. In all fairness we arrived close to closing and would like to be objective as possible so I will come back another time earlier during the day and hope to rewrite this review.
