General Manager Jamie helped us load the Q app onto our phone, for our purchases and the rest of the staff were INCREDIBLY upbeat & very helpful. Our first time eating from any Qdoba. Placed order online from the app for pickup in 30 minutes. A veggie burrito and veggie bowl. 4 very nice employees; got our orders right and brought to the car. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. Nothing soggy. My burrito was huge! Definitely not hungry after eating here and highly recommend.

Ordered five quesadillas from doordash. They were awful. Rotten lettuce, the quesadillas were not together, and the food was ice cold. It was a total mess and definitely not worth your money. Look elsewhere for Mexican food.

We were underwhelmed. Not as hip as holy guac, not as tasty as nearby fresh burrito. Think my chicken was a tad undercooked. Didn't get sick but the texture was off. It is a nice environment, but I doubt we will go back considering the other options.

I've been there twice and found their burritos to be sub par. Lots of people like it though, personally don't now why. They use too much chili powder on their meats in my opinion.

Good, not great. Tortilla used on my burrito was dry and hard, so you can only imagine the mess. My burrito quickly turned into a burrito bowl. The flavours are great, but if you get the steak, be ready to receive 5 or 6 little cubes of steak. I ordered extra protein and it was barely enough to get some meat in every bite. I will probably give them another chance, as I want to try their tacos, but my expectations will be lower going in next time. For the price, there's many alternatives that are nicer.

Went there and had the beef brisket burrito bowl. The white rice was old or it was under cooked. The clerk was told twice that wasn't my meal as I was waiting for the veggies to be cooked. I would return but will still be leary of the rice.

It's as authentic as Mexican fast food can get, a fresh variety of ingredients and the flavors are so on point!

I attend this restaurant regularly and I must say YUMMMMM. Good eats, especially if you ask for the two timer tacos (even though they are not on the menu anymore they are to die for!) Alex is always working when I come in PHENOMONAL staff member. Always has me feeling welcomed. She is also very informative about the menu and tastes. She left me with an amazing burrito the other day. And upon her suggestion I tried the chips and queso last time! Super delicious. She deserves all of the stars in the world! THANK YOU

We had QDOBA cater our team of 30 for lunch and it was delicious food, great presentation and friendly service! The food was fresh and flavourful and the portions were amazing. Lots of different variety to choose from. We even enjoyed leftovers the next day! Would definitely recommend their catering services for events, meetings or parties.

We were really excited try this place out, but it was very underwhelming. We had vegetarian burritos and they were so bland. Everyone was wearing masks, which was great, but the food just fell flat. There was also a small army of people behind the counter, but no one apparently cleaning tables, because there were 3 that had food all over them, and no indication they would be getting cleaned any time soon.

Me and my associates used to love coming here for lunch. However, during our last few experiences, our burrito bowls have a significantly smaller portion. Im not sure if this change is due to management, but on our FINAL visit we were double charged for additional protein. The first serving of protein was less than a full scoop and when we asked for it to be filled appropriately, we were charged for it. Congratulations Qdoba you have lost three loyal customers!

The food ingredients or my chicken bowl where over and the portions served where very little. Me and my wife eat there attest twice a week and usually at 4pm when ingredients are finished you fill them and serve and not serve less portion. Feels cheated to be paying about 14$ for a bowl with such less portion.

Whether its a bowl or the family nacho meal, Qdoba in Sault Ste. Marie never fails to deliver. It is refreshing to go into the restaurant to order and be greeted by the pleasant sound of Mexican themed music. Watching chicken breasts sizzle on the grill appeals to so many senses at once. The visual appeal of the entire grill consumed by browned chicken, seared with a blend of golden and charred bark, the sound of it sizzling and the smell as my favourite protein approaches ideal temperature for consumption is a little hypnotic. Qdoba always has fresh ingredients, store-made guacamole, delicious pico de gallo and the queso is pretty tasty too. This restaurant is always clean, every employee is always busy doing some sort of task to make the whole place work. If you haven't tried Qdoba, my suggestion is to give it a try. The food is such a nice change in an Italian food dominated community like Sault Ste. Marie.

Love the burrito bowls here specially the chicken ones, they have a lot of choices for meat and all kinds of toppings, the queso salsa is amazing, they have 3 levels of spicy and in my opinion medium is not that spicy. You can choose between pinto or black beans, chicken, pork or steak, avocado and the queso salsa and on top of that shredded cheese. Highly recommend this place.

Had the Diablo Nachos. Lots of sauce but the chips held up pretty well. The chips weren't oily which was good. It was a pretty decent portion. It was pretty spicy as well which was what I had wanted. Not so spicy that you couldn't enjoy it but there was a good kick for anyone who enjoys some spice. Not sure we'd go on a regular basis but it was pretty good for once in a while nacho craving.

I always enjoy going to this place. I really like the food but yesterday was a bad experience. My husband, my friend and I spend the whole day building a fence we finish pretty late and we were looking for something to eat we got to qdoba and this guy was so mad when he saw us, he even threw the container over the counter(he was cleaning) so I asked what time did they closed and he said 10:00pm it was 9:19pm when I looked at my watch. When he was serving my food he was literally throwing the food in my plate(we ordered a burrito bowl). He made me feel pretty bad and not just me also he treated the same my husband and my friend. Thanks God there was another girl that came out and helped with the order, she was nice. I wanted to go to another place but we were starving so we had to stay. Maybe they need more people to help closing the store or start the cleaning after they close because there also was not many toppings to add to my burrito bowl. Really bad experience

* EDIT * read to the end * I usually have a great experience here, however the past two times have been kind of off... I grabbed dinner there today, and got my usual, grilled chicken burrito bowl, and it was pretty empty. What irritated me the most was that the chicken had a few small pieces left in the the bottom of the tin that the girl serving tried to pass off as a scoop and when I asked if she could top it off with a different meat she told me it would be an extra charge ???? multiple salsa containers were also empty and she tried to scrape out of them. I just think it might be time for a little training refresher on courteous serving. I really like this place and will be back to try again, but I really hope my burrito bowl will be back to its normal size. So I want to edit this review. Been there twice since and the portion sizes and service were perfect again without talking to a manager or saying anything. Thank you, I really appreciate that you take hospitality seriously - will happily continue coming back :)

Nicer inside than I'd expected, guess they have a license to sell beer as well which I suppose would go with a taco. Sole occasion I walked in due to some London Majors promotion (free taco if show your ticket after Cleveland B's home runs), good quality pulled pork taco of some sort off their knockout taco list. I had my son with me, passed on tacos but got some Mexican soda of some sort. I am sure I'll drop back in, promos get you in the door, pleasant surprises and good food promote a return. Good stuff, 5/5.

UPDATE: I did go back to get my Quesadilla and the Manager was very friendly. They did give me some free chips and Queso and a drink on the house. I did notice the staff was much more organized so I am changing my review. Hopefully next time the service is even better so I can change it to a 5. ORIGINAL: Tried this location for the first time today and they forgot to give me half the order....my chicken quesadilla side of sour and guac. I did call and all they could offer was a quesadilla the next time I come in and he suggested he could throw in a chips and queso. What doesn't make sense is that I already paid for the quesadilla so how is this doing anything special for me? I understand they were very busy and this location just opened this week but it isn't an excuse for a lack in customer service and forgetting half an order..... Disappointed and hope they step up if I do visit again to get the quesadilla I paid for.

pretty good mexican fast food. went here for the venngo discount but left surprisingly happy. wife had 3 tacos and i had the burrito bowl. both were pretty good and we had happy tummies. I deducted a star since service wan't helpful in pointing out the promos (you wouldn't get the free items unless you asked for it, shame). i would recommend if you're looking for a quick mexican fix.

Everything here is delicious! It's a favorite stop everytime I drive through the Sault! The bowls are AMAZING even cold as a snack later down the road! Smoked brisket is my go to! But beware of the raw onions: the corn salsa, pico de gallo and guacamole have raw onions which I have a food sensitivity to. All the toppings I have encountered are Gluten Friendly, I asked about the corn chip strips and they don't have any added Gluten (though cross contamination is possible).

the absolute worst mexican food i have ever eaten!!!! save your money and just buy taco bell the sour cream was so watered down it was dripping out from under the lids when i took it out of the bag for the price one would think they were getting a good sized portion of food but no you dont taco bell's quesadilla is about the same size and it's only $5 never again will i order from here it only got 1 star because it wont let me do a review without it or i would give it a 0 star rating

I went to this place to try their vegetarian/vegan options. I got a burrito bowl but one thing that I didn't like at all was that the lady putting the food together touched with her glove a piece of paper that a customer handed her, it was probably a coupon of some sort. She had to hand it back to the customer after preparing their food and told her to give it to someone else. She didn't change her gloves and kept touching the customer's food including mine (I hope I don't get sick). I don't think people serving food should touch anything else but food to avoid contaminating it. Another thing I wasn't too crazy about was another employee's slightly sarcastic attitude when I asked about their vegetarian protein options (besides the beans), and the employee told me that "they didn't serve tofu or anything like that". I mean, there are other things besides tofu that are protein for vegetarian/vegans (e.g. tempeh, TVP, chickpeas, lentils, seitan, etc). I've been to other "Mexican" type places and they have better vegetarian/vegan options. Qdoba only has roasted peppers as their "vegetarian protein" which is advertised like that on their menu. FYI, the vegetarian options like burrito or burrito bowls cost around $10. Definitely not worth it. The vegetarian bowl I ate was OK, nothing out of this world. I don't think I'll come back.

The vibe and presentation were good. But unfortunately the food was not great. I don't think it has anything to do with the location. It feels like a franchise issue. The tortilla shells were very dry and the cold toppings cooled off the hot meat very quickly. I'd imagine eating in the restaurant would help this as my family ate them at home (under 5 min from location). The staff was great and super helpful in the order process. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. But it is just a very competitive area for taco and burritos, and there are better options

OK TO START…. YUMMY FOOD. but second, the STAFF!!!! so so so kind and played along with boyfriend and I’d jokes. Anmol and Onani deserve raises! I am already a huge Qdoba fan, but this location was so f warming and friendly to enter! Very clean inside. Noticed staff was cleaning the tables inside as soon as guests left. 10/10 for cleanliness, 11/10 for hospitality, 10/10 for taste and portion! My boyfriend and I were very pleased and left in an even better mood than entering! Truly changed our day coming in! 01/27/22

Don’t bother ordering ahead of time online. I ordered 1 hour prior to pick up - when I arrived and asked to pay they had to search for the order (no one else was in the store). The owner was also present and I didn’t even get an apology. Perhaps if you want to order ahead call them first and ask what time works for them.

The last few times I have been here the service has been incredibly slow and out of ingredients including rice. I think they should have more people working behind the counter as it seems the employees are often overwhelmed. On my most recent trip I found a piece of wire in my burrito bowl. It looks like maybe it was a twist tie. I have a feeling it was from the vegetables. Disappointing to say the least, I'm grateful I felt on on my lips before I bit down.

I'll say it is a decent fast food restaurant Tex Mex style. If you want real Mexican taste definitely this is not the right spot. Nevertheless, you will still find good meat selection to be wrapped in your gigantic burrito, in addition to different types of spicy hot sauces that taste just OK. Service is similar to other fast food restaurants not personal or friendly at all but polite. To me, it was mere curiosity to try it but I didn't find anything special in it. I believe you will have to judge it and come up with your own personal experience of Tex Mex food.

Qdoba almost* fixes your Chipotle Mexican Grill cravings...it’s as close as you can get in Windsor to Chipotle so I love it! Great portions for the price, nice atmosphere, clean. Most of the staff ask you as you go down the line what you would like so you don’t feel rushed like some places.

I called the restaurant before placing the order and was greeted by Luke who was pleasant from the beginning and went out of his way to take down my special instructions and wait for my order to be sent and fill my order himself. Tried Qdoba for the first time today. Ordered online and it was ready pretty much when they said it would. They gave me curbside pick up when I arrived even though I didn't ask when ordering. When I arrived home from picking it up they called me. They wanted to let me know that they missed one of my items and they were going to make it and hand deliver to my home. All in all I was impressed with the food and the service. The food was fresh and tasty. The service was even a little over and above. They did however put beans on the burrito that was supposed to have no beans. I would have rated higher than 3 stars but there were 2 mistakes on the order (they did fix one of them) so I could only rate at a 3. I will try again for sure.

Worst burritos we ever had. We spend over $100 for family dinner thinking we will try this place. We ordered some burritos and quesadillas. Quesadillas were ok not great but good enough to eat. Burritos were nightmare, just a bunch of 'rice' trapped in a flour wrap. No taste, no sauce nothing. Absolute worst burritos.

It’s okay, not my top choice for Mexican food even though a lot of people swear by it. I tried it the other day and it looked like a bird had pooped and regurgitated the food because it was so diced up. It’s not chunky and makes you wonder what the spices are. It’s like what you’re little sister would whoop up for herself on a Friday night while watching tv. Again, this is just my opinion, I know others that swear by Qdoba. It’s decent at best for me.

I was driving through from the states to visit. Stop at this location last night and order a steak burrito bowl. I was amazed on how fresh the veggies and steak was. OMG that queso sauce was really good. The manager and support staff had all smiles when I order. I got say Canadians are really nice. It just made my day. Also the cleanest restaurant I seen in a while. Wow!

BRUTAL service. Must have been at least 25+ people waiting in line and only 3 people working. It was a Wednesday at 8pm, and all 3 were VERY unorganized. Numerous people had complaints and incorrect orders; who were ignored by the staff as they tried fulfilling new orders. My order had multiple wrongs...on top of that as they are making orders for other people they are running out of ingredients and not bothering to refill/replace. So by the time they get to my order which is "to go", 40 mins later, they are giving me the chincey-ist portions because they couldn't be bothered to replace the ingredients they used up. Terrible service. Took an hour to get my $50 order for 6 people. Will not ever return.

I love this place, it's very fresh and delicious. All the food has great flavour and seasoning. I usually order off of Skip The Dishes and it always arrives steaming hot which I appreciate. The only thing I've experienced that is sub-par is when I order the queso and chips (which is every time because it's the best queso I've ever eaten) some of the chips are pretty stale. It can be off-putting but it's never kept me from coming back because everything else is always fantastic. I can forgive a few stale chips.

Solid mexican food, with a number of presentation options that essentially determine how much food you will get. If you are hungry, I would suggest the bowl, and ask for extra tortillas on the side. These can be used to make wraps for yourself, or be had as a side. The staff are friendly here, and will treat you well.

First time at a Qdoba and it was pretty good! Staff was friendly and explained how it all worked. The quality of the ingredients seemed pretty good and fresh, nothing sitting for long which was nice. Just had a burrito with queso and chips and both the spicy cheese and salsa had a great kick to them. Space was clean, and they even have spots that have outlets to charge your phone at which is nice.

They also have so many healthy options as well as allergen options (gluten free, nut free etc). Guac and cheese also doesn't cost extra which is great! Excellent food and excellent service! I love all the vegetarian options available. I got their tortilla soup to try something different and it was great, it was large enough to share with another person and we were both fairly satisfied at the end. My only complaint is that it was not warm enough, but I enjoyed being able to customize it. The restaurant has the option to compost - which I love - I just wish they offered biodegradable utensils in stead of plastic black ones.

I have been here a few times. Their menu is simple but delicious. Their ordering process works, they let you pick from a few basic options and build with the ingredients you want. they do have a vegetarian option, which is pretty much fajita veggies. We would love to see other plant based options. We visited tonight (Dec 23 19) and the manager on duty made sure that our experience was great. My wife was confused about the veggies on a quesadilla and the manager stepped up, ask for the food to be made from the start for us. She was also there in the front line, serving, tutoring others and even sauteed the veggies for my order. I was very pleased with the service and the food to tonight. I had a god awful experience at this restaurant. I went to get some nice fresh food but instead I was served by a women named hayleigh who was rude and gave me old food. When I asked what was on the menu she rudely told me to look up at the menu on the wall. Then while I was ordering she rolled her eyes at me multiple times and mumble shut up once or twice. First off- I would have given 4 stars if the dining room was cleaner and better maintained (it was sticky, dingy, and the furniture was ripped). Food- was fantastic. Way better than other similar local burrito joints. The adobo chicken was very tender, the corn tortilla for the tacos stayed in tact and had great flavour! My 2 year old also loved her kids pack & the mini bowl was enough even for my husband ($7.99). They aren’t cheap with portions either. Will return!

Distancing not being practiced by staff, stations set up very close to each other with lots of reaching across to access things. Manager was encouraging removal of gloves to access touch screen till. Customers were also unnecessarily snuggly. The menu required closeness to each station to see, further encouraging bad behaviour. This setup was not fundamentally bad, a few tweaks and it could be very safe and effective. I hope these practices are reviewed and revised for everyone's safety.

By far my favourite burrito place! The queso sauce is amazing! The service here is great. I ordered online once and it went okay. I was hoping to pop in, my order would be ready, so I could just pay and go. They didn't have it ready yet and made it fresh which was a nice gesture but my main goal was to be in and out really fast. Otherwise, no bad things to say!

Unprofessional staff, they delayed my skip order to serve walk in in customer for more than 15 minutes on purpose , it is not supposed to be like that, you guys need to do orders in sequence, first come first serve, you don't care about online orders and online customers, I don't recommend ordering online from this location, it is a waste of time

Just went there for a burrito, I noticed they were stingy with certain toppings, the one girls hat fell off and almost went into our food as well! Her hairnet wasn't on either it was literally just hanging there! Horrible experience overall!

What the hell happened?! They raised prices; 14 bucks for a burrito now, and the portions got smaller. Went at 6:00 and they had no salsas left, no queso, no burrito sauce. The tortilla had hardened bits which means it was obviously stale. I honestly feel ripped off. No idea what happened as it was amazing prior to September. The past 2 times I've went have been awful. Won't be back.
