About 36 of our school staff ordered lunch from Big Jerk. We were all blown away by the portion size, the quality and the taste. It was all placed in a warming caddy for us, clearly labelled and delicious. The order process was so easy and Kevin gave us a set menu to select from to make ordering easy. We had a meal catered by Big Jerk for 25 people. It was a delicious, juicy meal from start to finish! Kevin was very personable, reliable, and he made it easy to figure out what to order. The jerk chicken and curry chicken were melt-in your-mouth yummy. Mango Cheesecake AND Mama BIGJERK's rum cake were both incredibly memorable. Everyone's still talking about the food!

I ordered on Saturday from the truck outside Victoria st market. The staff was friendly I ordered curry chicken meal. They had a few orders ahead so went into the store to grab something I came out and went over to wait for my food. They had given my order or another customer to had taken back to there car and opened it .... The other customer handed the food to them and being as covid-19 is going around and another customer had my food and opened in the car it appeared they were making me a new order which is what should have been done till I get home and not only did they not give me a new order, they only put another box over the old one and worse yet it wasn't even what I ordered . I had ordered the chicken curry meal and what I got was chickpea curry .

I have to eat gluten free food and I tried their food today which is all gluten-free except for the Jamaican patties. The owner was even aware of cross contamination in the frying oil. Been going to BIGJERK for a few years now. First ran into them at their food truck on Victoria Street near the Victoria street market. They serve traditional carribean Jamaican fare and the owner has deep roots in carribean culinary arts coming from a Jamaican family of successful restaurateurs. He smokes his jerk chicken which is a rarity these days. Most jerk joints oven bake their jerk chicken. I’ve ordered everything from the Curried Goat, Curried Chicken, Jerk Chicken (uses actual pimento berries for his spice), Oxtail, tried the fried chicken too…. & everything is on point. When I order, he’s always asking me if he can give me samples of new items to try out. I buy bottles of his ???? pepper sauce ???? I make jerk chicken at home & he even gave me some pimento berries & leaves for my next batch. Only passionate carribean food lovers come here for passionately made carribean cuisine.

Absolutely delicious food, and fantastic service. We ordered from our car on the way home from shopping, and stopped in for pickup. We were greeted in the parking lot by Kevin, who brought out a complimentary beef patty while we waited. A couple of our friends strongly recommended this place and everything was beyond our expectations! Amazing food and customer service! We had fresh beef patties just came out of the oven while we were waiting for other food, and they were super good. My husband tried a spicy and I had a mild one. The spicy one was pretty spicy for me but it was still good. We had jerk chicken, oxtail, and curry goat. All the dishes and side dishes, coleslaw and rice, were so delicious! If you like spicy stuff, ask for their hot sauce - another level of joy. Would definitely come back!

Found myself a hidden gem yesterday!!! Highly recommend the big jerk!!! Best curry chicken roti I've had. I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes but these were beyond amazing! Got a dozen Patty's to take home and was given an extra (free) ready to eat hot out the oven patty to enjoy for my drive. Great customer service. Ordered a jerk chicken, a jerk pork, and 2 spicy beef patties and everything was delicious! The owner was super sweet as well and threw in a mango cheesecake. Definitely a 10/10 must visit if you're craving jerk chicken in the Waterloo area. Will be recommending to my friends!

I had the jerk chicken sandwich and it was amazing! Big Jerk is a must stop If u are in the kitchener/waterloo area. The sandwich came with jerk chicken,Coleslaw, a pickle, gravy and hot sauce on soft bun. So delicious I can't wait to eat here again. ????????

This was the best beef patty and chicken and rice meal I've eaten. Also make sure to ask for the Indian Mango cheese cake. You won't regret it.
