Matt came in as a surprise for my bachelor party and there aren't enough stars to describe how exceptional the Matty Boy BBQ experience was. Matt was a true professional and all around great guy tending to the smoker all day (starting from 3am), sharing his knowledge of BBQ with the guys, and plating one of the best meals I've ever had. Though the presentation itself was awesome, the meat really stole the show. The whole group was blown away by how good the brisket, ribs, and sides were. I've had BBQ all over North America but I can't say that I've ever had anything as good as that Brisket. If you're considering Matty Boy BBQ, I can't endorse him highly enough and suggest you book him now before he gets too popular and has no availability!

Great brisket! The smoke flavour is on point and the sausage was very tasty! Really liked the sides as well. Next time we are in the area, we are stopping for sure :) Rare to find authentic Texas style BBQ out that way so take advantage! Thank you!

O M G! Words cannot describe the quality and taste of this BBQ! Matt recently catered our backyard wedding (we did picked up and re-heated for our buffet)…we got soooo many compliments on the quality of the food!..the brisket..the ribs..the beans..potato salad, coleslaw..everything seasoned and flavoured to perfection!!!!! Matt was a pleasure to work with, he was flexible to work with, if i could give this a superstar rating I would! We have left overs and the fam enjoyed more the next day..and we have frozen and reheated this food all week and its still just as good as the day we bought it! I cannot wait to see where Matt takes his business, we are customers for life, bonus that we drive through the PEC and kingston on the regular! Matt has created some amazing choices and provides exceptional service. His brisket is sensational - well-seasoned and buttery soft. His pulled pork is very flavourful and cooked to perfection. His order and payment system was easy to use, and his arrangements and adherence to COVID protocols were excellent too. Well done Matt...we can't wait to try some of your other delicacies!

We ordered a 4 lb. brisket for a family dinner. Picked up brisket on Saturday in Consecon - dinner was Wednesday. Slow cooked in oven just to bring it up to temp according to Matt's instructions. It MELTS in your mouth. No nonsense .... just the absolute deliciousness of brisket flavour - not covered by all kinds of sauces. You won't be sorry. We had 4 for dinner and plenty of leftovers to enjoy for second meal the next day.

Sharing this experience with even more of our friends and family is the only thing that could have made this better. Matt's BBQ isn't just the best we've ever had, it's by far the best. This would be a 5 star review for the food alone, but having Matt cater for you is about more than just the incredible food - it's an event. Matt catered my Dad's 70th birthday party. It was an all day (and night) event. The Brisket went on the massive commercial smoker in the middle of the night and Matt Stoked the fire for 15 hours non-stop, all while situated in my parent's backyard. Matt was fun to chat with (especially if you want to learn more about the art of Central Texas BBQ) and 100% professional. We chose brisket, ribs, and sausage for our menu...they were all delicious. Book Matty Boy Barbecue for your next event and you won't be disappointed.

Matt catered our wedding this past July. We can’t say enough about how amazing his food is and how great he was to work with. The authentic Texas style bbq was hands down the best we have ever had and the guests are still talking about how good it was. Matt was super accommodating even with a couple of last minute changes we had to make, and was very responsive to messages throughout the whole planning process. He absolutely loves what he does and it shows.

Perfect BBQ and incredible catering service overall! We cannot say enough about how great Matt’s food and staff were for our recent outdoor event. Our guests are still raving to us that his melt in your mouth brisket was to die for and that his Turkey and sides were some of the best they’ve ever had for BBQ! Matty starts his process the night before- maintaining the fire and smoking the meat from midnight onwards. His craft is truly passionate and reflects in the quality of every part of the service. Can’t wait to visits his pop ups and have it again soon!!!

6 stars. Google needs to add a 6th star exclusively for Matty Boy BBQ. Hands down, the best ribs I have ever eaten. I truly hope Matt makes it big. I've been searching for perfect bbq ribs all my life and have finally found them. I was in awe eating these. The brisket, beans, picked onions, potato salad, and slaw were all exceptional as well, but the ribs... man oh man those ribs...Great job! No sauce? I couldn't believe the amount of flavour and tenderness I was enjoying without the aid of a rib sauce. That is talent. Top notch quality. I look forward to enjoying your food again.

Just had the ribs, and they were exceptional. Highly recommend Matty Boys Barbque. The flavors, seasoning was done to perfection. Can still taste the smoke.. awesome!!! We will definitely be trying the other items on the menu.

Matty Boy barbecue deserves more than a 5 star rating. Excellent brisket, turkey and sides. The food is truly an experience. Matty and his staff were friendly and very professional.
