Always really good. Prices can be relatively high depending on what you order but you will get a really fresh and healthy meal. Staff is friendly and as far as I see owner really values his employees as his turnover rate is I guess almost 0 in 2 years. Place may not look extremely enticing in terms of decoration and to be honest can be misleading for potential customers. Don't think this is a mediocre place!!!! Recently I don't go there at all but I should go more often... This place is one of my favorite in whole Canada. This guy should open more branches all across.

This is a hidden gem!! If you enjoy home cooked meals and fresh bake goods this is your place. Always a great lunch special that will fill you up. If your looking for something light you may enjoy a fresh sandwich or melt and homemade soups. I work construction and it is a pleasure to eat good food while on the road, rather than garbage fast food...

I’ve only been in here a few times but the food has always been good and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend their sandwiches.

After ordering two smoked meat and Swiss melts, she proceeded to make regular smoked meat and Swiss sandwiches. After she made them, I asked if they'd be grilling them. She told me that I didn't order melts and then when I say I did, she argued with me by claiming she asked me white or brown bread. Since it was our first time, I didn't know they didn't do melts in other bread types. Also ordered the home fries, which were undercooked and raw. Coffee isn't very tasty. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you were getting the salad. The salad is fresh and so are the ingredients. Most of the staff (except for the woman that served us) are friendly.
