I used to go here all the time for lunches with my grandmother when I worked nearby. The customer service here is what made me keep coming back after that! Locally owned, this place has a nice relaxing atmosphere. I've made friends with a few of the staff, as they are super inviting and always easy to talk to. Everything is made fresh and the ingredients never look old. Things are priced well considering the value you get.

Summary: Microwaved food, not tasty, overpriced. I'm not a fan. Overpriced for quality and did not enjoy food (2 experiences). Went awhile ago, got a sandwich, it wasn't made well, the meat was reheated in the microwave which I found unappealing and it wasn't on the panini long enough to be 'grilled' at all. Today, got a grilled cheese and small tomato soup and the sandwich was not brown AT ALL and although the cheese tasted good (cheddar) the sandwich was gross and didn't taste well. Undercooked. The soup was SO hot from being MICROWAVED that it took ages to cool down enough to eat it. I can drink a hot Timmies right away so for me to have an issue with it, means its way too hot. The soup itself was subpar. If this was <$5, then maybe I wouldn't complain but this was about $9. So not worth. Not sure why they microwave their food; they could very easily opt for higher standards and methods that don't require microwaving. It ruined the soup and the sandwich was undercooked/not good. Will not go back here again. Not worth the money. MAYBE some food on their menu is good, but even if that's the case it's overpriced. $1.50 for a pickle? Good grief!

I've been going to Soup Sandwiches and More for a few years now. The staff is always great and super-friendly. I think the key here is the staff. They do a great job every time. The food: #1 - Scrambler bowls: Best breakfast in the city. #2 - Sandwiches: Always fresh, always high quality, always prepared with care - your way. #3 - Soups: There's some brilliant cooking going on here. That's all I can say. If you work/eat downtown - Make this place part of your routine. You won't regret it.

I enjoyed my first visit to this restaurant after a recommendation from a friend. I attended just before noon to beat the lunch hour rush and the soup and sandwich combination, including a small drink or coffee set and a slice of dill pickle, set me back around $11.00. (including tax) There was a selection of about 12 soups, dozens of sandwiches and a about 5 types of bread. I decided on the Beef Barley with an Egg Salad on multi-grain. Both were very tasty and it was obvious that the soup was homemade. Two complaints were that I thought the bowl of soup was a bit small for the price and it some of the soup slopped onto my plate, causing part of a 1/2 of my sandwich to get soggy, which was less than enjoyable. I would prefer a bigger bowl and not filled quite so full. I do look forward to going back and trying some other combos.

As a new employee working downtown I went for a walk looking for a lunch spot. I had the Taco Wrap and it was a 10/10 experience. Great value, fresh and delicious ingredients, and you can't beat the taste of homemade. I also received a genuinely warm and welcome greeting and the staff were very friendly. I will be going back. How lucky is Downtown Winnipeg to have such dedicated eateries. Yum. #SupportLocal

When I saw the portion size of the small Cesar salad that I ordered, I was shocked. It was about the size of a handful of lettuce. And when I asked for chicken, the lady preparing the salad took out a THIN chicken breast, and cut it in HALF and put that amount on the salad. I also received a quarter slice of a pickle. For this I paid $10.57!!!!! Almost ELEVEN DOLLARS for a handful of lettuce and croutons.Far too expensive in my opinion. I could go down the street and find the same or similar items for the same quality, and far less expensive. I went on the website before visiting, and the prices there were less than in store. Needless to say, I won't be visiting here again.

Overpriced. Slow service. I ordered a sandwich made with gluten free bread and it fell apart into small pieces. The person who made it didn't seem to care and no replacement was offered. What a waste. Some of the staff would rather be on their phones.

Just ordered 2 soups a wrap and a Philly. The philly cheese steak had processed cheese and cheap beef no condiments the wrap sogfy and disgusting. Far cry from being worth the 50$ the delivery costed.

I had breakfast here several times and I can attest it was very good. Eggs, bacon, sausage, vegetables, you name it, they will prepare it as you ordered. They have vegetarian menu but I have not tried their vegetarian menu. I am unfortunately accustomed to different coffee taste so their coffee would not work for me and changing coffee takes time but the food was great! You should try and make your own decision.
