Don't miss a chance to try their food. Everything on my plate was delicious and the price was very affordable considering what I was getting. Staff are very friendly and go the extra mile. I took my friend for lunch there during one of their buffet events and we mentioned in passing that it was her birthday and the staff arranged a dessert for her with sparklers. Very sweet gesture. Will definitely go back.

You can get order and curbside pick up an AMAZING entree, bread rolls and dessert every Friday (during Covid) for only $25 a person. For $6 more, you can get a largish salad. You can also pay more to get soup. I've done this twice and plan to do it again!

Having just been part of a wedding recently everyone from Dave to all his team make everything simple and comfortable with no request being overlooked. Simply put the staff are friendly, professional and attentive. And the food? WORLD CLASS. You will never find better cuisine for events period. Bravo to everyone on the Bergmann's team!

I attended a holiday party at Bergmann's on Lombard. The food was excellent, and the service was second to none. But above all, the staff go above and beyond to meet your needs (allergies etc..) All in all a great place.

I had the fortune of visiting Bergmann's on Lombard a couple weeks back for a grad banquet. Had this not been the case, I doubt I would ever have stumbled upon this establishment hidden halfway up an office building on a side street. When you enter the ground level, a security guard greets you and asks where you're headed. You head up to the restaurant level and are met with luxurious carpets and wooden upholstery. After passing your jacket off to the coat check, you enter the dining area. The food is served in a simple, yet elegant room with round tables. What I tried was the Alberta Braised Beef with wine sauce and fried mashed potatoes with mixed vegetables. Served with red and white wine... Oof. A knockout pairing prepared expertly by the chefs. The meat was tender enough to be cut without a knife if one so chose, and the seasonings were used to draw each element of the dish together in harmony. For dessert, a selection of cakes or cheese cake. Again very good fare. Bergmann's on Lombard is an excellent location for group functions that require an upscale, refined atmosphere.

We’ve ordered Bergmann’s Friday take home supper for two twice now and we have thoroughly enjoyed both meals. This second time was to celebrate my birthday during the second shutdown of 2020 and it was excellent! I recommend giving their Friday supper (for two or four) with a wine pairing a try - you won’t regret it!

I’ve had the pleasure of attending large weddings catered by Bergmann’s as well as having private dinners for our family. There is no better company in the city for event catering. The food is always incredible, Dave Bergmann has always been so easy to work with and great with accommodations. Top notch staff and quality of product are phenomenal regardless of how many guests you are expecting. The service is always above and beyond. If you’re curious to try them out, they Friday night take out dinners are a great place to start! Every week is a wonderful meal, we have never been disappointed.
