We were super stoked to have a new taco place in town, let me say this my boyfriend has never ever thrown away food, and today was the first time in 4 years I saw it happen. The portions are small and when you buy extra meat it was a measly amount to say the least, the quesadilla I ordered tasted like the beans were from a can (this was the second one as they burnt the first one), the salsa was lacklustre, I just want to know where the FLAVOUR IS?!?! . 1/10 would not recommend.

Who doesn't just LOVE a little family run business with the authentic flavors of Mexico? The coconut lime butterfly shrimp soft tacos were fantastic, loaded with fresh salsa and delicious wasabi ginger sauce. The battered fish hard shell tacos loaded sky high with pineapple, salsa, jalapenos and lime Sriracha mayo were like a festival in your mouth and a mariachi band playing. Dramatic? Perhaps. Delicious? Absolutely. Value for money was good. 8.99 for 2 tacos, but sour cream/fresh guac drives the price up a bit. Also authentic Mexican beer rounded out the Pacifico experience! Mucho bueno!

Disappointed.... again. This is the 3rd and last time I ordered from them on Skip the Dishes. In 2 of the 3 orders they missed items or sent the wrong items. When I called to complain I was told: "we must have mixed up your order with another." Also, their chips are flavourless, the salsa tastes like marinara and the burritos are soggy. I'll pass.

Burritos are bad. Overall soggy and lack flavour. Meat had watered down taste somehow. Too much rice. Extra charge for sour cream was too high for the amount of sour cream you get. Lettuce unwashed and bitter. Hadn't been there since it was Taco del Mar and I won't be returning.

Got the large burrito with shredded beef it was pretty good. Loses stars because they charged extra for a tablespoon of sour cream. I sort of get charging more for guacamole but not sour cream.

My only concern is they put crack in their food because I'm addicted! The food is amazing, the staff is great, the owner was there with his family one time I went in and he seems like a great guy. A bit pricey but its the price you gotta pay for good ingredients to make great food. I'll definitely be eating here more!

We ordered off ‘Skip the Dishes’. The quesadillas were cold and not cooked properly. We had to put them in the oven just to be able to pick up the sloppy mess. Will not be ordering here again. Two stars for quick and cheap delivery but the quality was lacking. On par with Taco Bell. A small, maybe 10% more effort from the cooks would’ve gone a long way and would not be asking for too much. Will not be ordering from here again.

Absolutely terrible. Walked in, place was empty, figured it was probably because it was 2:30. Place was a mess though. Food debris on all but one of the tables. Below average burrito, served with bland unseasoned rice and beans. All the hot sauces on offer were gross, crusty around the opening and empty. After I took my food the staff disappeared into the back and I didn’t see them again for the time it took me to eat. Found out later I was charged extra for the sour cream, no big deal but would have been nice to know. Terrible experience overall. Would have all been excusable if the food was good but, Burrito fell apart badly and really had a lack of flavour.

We stumbled upon this place by accident, and loved it! I had the fish tacos, and they were so good, my brother had the big kahuna and devoured it, and his girlfriend had the beef and pork tacos on corn tortillas and thought they were tasty as well! Such a cute atmosphere, and the staff was super friendly!

Hello, everything around inside was good, food was good. But it needs to be spicier. I had a bit of my gf’s hot taco. And it wasn’t spicy. I usually can’t handle medium. So if there’s anything to fix maybe spice up all your sauces a little.

I just ordered a large burrito for here and wow. While the overall taste of everything was okay, the burrito itself was not that large and the guacamole and salsa were only placed on either end of it. So my first bite was all salsa, in the middle was all rice and then at the end, you guessed it, all guacamole. I won't be ordering from here again.

Me and my girlfriend had the 2 tacos for 8$ and they were the best tacos we have ever had. We had both a hard shell and a soft shell tacos with shredded beef, pineapple and this green sauce. Absolutely amazing. Thanks Pacific Taco!

This is probably the worst dining experience I've had in Kamloops so far. The food is extremely bland and the portions are really small... which is quite disappointing- considering the prices they charge.

I’ve re written this a few times trying not to be a massive jerk. But the experience was terrible just like our one and only time in taco Del Mar. The staff was so unwelcomeing. The food lacked any flavor what so ever, the black beans are swimming in the juice that comes in the cans and were not drained when scooped onto the food. Nachos were chips topped with minimal toppings along with a small dollop of fake cheese sauce. We could only take about half of our food before we left and headed out to another restaurant. Wasted 27$, the restaurant seems to only reply to the good reviews instead of contacting the bad ones to try and solve the issue within the establishment.

Went there today for the first time and the last, cooking surfaces were very dirty, the cambros they had the food in looked like they hadn’t been tended to all day with dried stuff around the rims. Staff’s clothes were covered in food and looked terrible. Unfortunately had a burrito and tonight I feel sick to my stomach, hopefully not food poisoning. No pride in cleanliness taken at this location.Will not return, this place needs an inspection by the health authority.

I'm all for another local restaraunt opening up in town. HOWEVER my first experience with Pacific Taco was not the best. I ordered a Beef Burrito with extra meat and cheese. There was no cheese on my burrito and the ground beef they use is of the super fine sandy texture type. If Pacific Taco used different ground beef and added afew more spices to their meat to make it taste a little less bland I think it would be a fine place to eat.

Stopped in for a quick dinner. My daughter had the kids burrito and it was a great size. She loved choosing her own meat. I had the 2 tacos with the Columbian and Costal Fish. This was probably the closest cooked meat to a true carnitas taco you can get in Kamloops. The pork was moist and delicious. The fish taco was also good. We will be back.

I had a poor experience at Pacific Taco. While ordering I felt a bit awkward seeing a new employee being taught by a very forward manager. Very exact about portions - scraping the top off any excess in their spoons. Guacamole costs extra although they don't advise you about it before serving you, and guacamole costs "extra extra" if you ask for a little bit more (about a teaspoon size dollop added). Left feeling a bit disappointed after finishing our meal. Sorry Pacific Taco, amazing job on the Reno's the place looks nice, great location, mediocre food, and unfortunately won't be returning because of service.

Great Burritos!!!! It used to be a Taco del Mar and today it is extremely similar. You can even order a "Mondo Burrito" like before. Now to the best of my knowledge the money stays local and the food is just as good as before. Get the hot sauce.. delicious.... could be hotter though, lol

I ate here for the second time today. The first time my burrito was a little bland, so I was a bit hesitant to go back. I ordered chicken tacos today and the portion sizes were decent. The other people I ate with enjoyed their food as well. Reasonable prices, staff was friendly and quick service.

We had lunch here. I had a small make your own burrito. My only complaint was there was rice on it before I had time to say "no rice". It was very good. Refried beans, rice...., guacamole, slow cooked beef, lettuce pico de gallo, medium salsa. I was fully satisfied. My wife had the fish tacos. They were huge. She enjoyed them very much. If you're craving fast Mexican in Sahali, give them a try. They're licensed and there is a nice patio for eating in the sun. They did very well with physical distancing and they cleaned the restaurant well.

I absolutely loved my Pacific Taco experience! Many diverse, wonderful tasting options. I have food allergies and they were very accommodating. The server knew the ingredients of all the items without having to check, because all of it is made from scratch in house. And, if you want a spicy taco they have real hot sauce, not some baby sauce for babies. Try the epic burrito with chorizo and medium spice, it'll change your life. Really cool atmosphere inside as well.

Unpressed!! I had been there a few Times loved the "epic burrito" but the last time my epic burrito wasn't so epic compared to my friends. The young gentleman was rude when I asked him why I got half the servings as my friend and the other people, he couldn't give me a strait answer. So I asked if I could get it remaid because my rice was harder then a rock and the sizing compared to others was very noticeable. he told me that I would need to speak to a manager naturally I asked if there was one in store unfortunately no manager was on site so I gave them a call the next afternoon again no manager did that a few times and everytime id get the same snooty comment that no one can help me with my complaint till a manager was in store.

Very disappointed in Pacific Taco....I absolutely loved Taco Del Mar and wish it never left. This Pacific Taco is essentially a bland boring version of Taco Del Mar. The flavour has dissapeared with the name....the rice is now bland and no longer authentic mexican rice, the meat is dry, the addition of wilted lettuce just adds extra gag worthy gross flavor, the cheese wasn't melted because it was not hot and, the beans were undercooked....If you want to compete with the Taco Del Mar we all are used to and love then you need to BRING BACK THE FLAVOR!!
