Ever since Erwins moved out of downtown, it's definitely not the same. For starters, the parking right off Mt Paul Way may seem like a bonus, but getting back on the street can be impossible at times. The service too isn't nearly as friendly... More than a week for custom cake orders really isn't good customer support. I would avoid this place all together.

Every time I need a special cake, Erwin's never disappoints - always so amazing and delicious. Recently, I needed a cake on short notice and Erwin's was so helpful and accommodating. New places have opened up in Kamloops, and while the cakes are beautiful they are not as delicious as Erwin's!

Low value for your money. The sandwiches aren't very big, baked goods are ok. Nothing was to die for delicious, which would have justified the cost. $15 didn't get me much but left me hungry

We bought a chocolate cake for my birthday yesterday and were assured that it had been made that day. However, when we had some a few hours later, we realized that the icing was all dried out and hard and the cake itself was crumbly and stale tasting. We threw out the pieces we'd sliced and are very disappointed in Erwin's.

Stopped in to check out the lunch from work. & the older lady wasn’t not friendly at all. Picked a few awesome pastries and went to pay. Told her I have status & she pointed to this little tiny paper saying we have to show her before it’s rang in. I apologized and said I didn’t see it. Paid, then told my co-worker to show the status before hand. Then the lady looks at my receipt then tosses the change in my hand & says “There’s your taxes!” I never felt so discriminated in my life. For a place that’s ON RESERVE, think the staff would be friendlier to First Nations….

There is a fabulous selection of bakery items and other sweets. There are cakes and there is a decent deli section as well. The service was very friendly but not over bearing. I would definitely reccomend this place and I plan on going here more often.

Really dissatisfied. I ordered Christmas dinner from them( ham Wellington) on the 18th and was called on the 23rd saying that they couldn't fill the order. I have no Christmas dinner and no time to arrange something else. Unsure of what the reason for the cancellation was but so far I'm stuck ordering pizza for Christmas dinner. If you do order catering from them call often to make sure that it isn't cancelled.

This is a great little bakery with very nice staff and is one of my favorite stores in downtown Kamloops. I am from New Brunswick so I enjoy taking in a coffee while watching the mountains when I am in Kamloops for work. I enjoy the meat selection (especially the sausages) and great baked goods such as the sausage rolls and fresh bread. Keep up the good work.

Eating a freshly made sandwich, all ingredients from in house (including the bread) is well worth coming the few seconds off the highway... Cinnamon bun is too good to be legal also. Everything here is made in-house with good quality, non GMO ingredients. As we were talking with the owners, we got into a conversation about the preservatives used in factory-made bread. I learned that everything used in Erwin's is fresh and healthy. For example, they roast their own turkeys for the sandwiches, which are sourced from a Langley farm with free-range, organically fed animals. Everything we ate was delicious, from sandwiches to cookies to pastries. Their three Red Seal bakers are excellent, creating items with the perfect texture and flavour. The croissants are flakey and buttery. The turkey sandwich made me wish I lived closer! The tasty chicken salad was unusual, with roasted red pepper and feta mixed in. Our half dozen chocolate dipped shortbread disappeared before I knew it. The bakery items are on the pricier side but having tasted them and talked to the owner about their products, I'd say they are 100% worth it.

Came across the place as the highest rated sandwich shop in town. Did not disappoint, items are pre made and the sandwiches are different but delicious. The prices are fairly reasonable and the atmosphere was great not really a sit and eat place but very pleased, highly recommend trying them.

Gluten free pies are rare and they make them! We live in the Lower Mainland and come to visit family a few times a year. We like to stock up on the Gluten free pies because nowhere else seems to make them. Just brought home 6 of them. Eating a slice now as I write. If you have a problem with Gluten and want to taste pie again, order them from here! You won't be disappointed! Give them a weeks head start and be sure to call more than once to confirm. This last batch was no problem but the first batch had a note not placed in the right spot so they never got made. We had to wait a few extra hours and settle for a crumble top that I will never eat again. This is taste preference only perhaps, (of the whole family). Also, the wheat free Date cookies are a hit with everyone that has ever tasted them, Delicious! Thanks Erwins for helping out us food challenged folk!

Picked up a cake today for my mothers birthday, It was the most dry disgusting fall apart, sickly sweet.... thing ive ever spent 25 dollars on. What a waste of money, service was terrible, and the cake tasted and the texture felt like it was months old. Horrible bakery will never be back.

So, I literally have nothing bad that I could possibly say about this wonderful Hidden Gem. I had been completely oblivious to it for the four years that I lived in Kamloops, and I just happened to be asking somebody, a random stranger while in the dollar store if they knew of a bakery. The kind gentleman told me to go here, from the moment I walked in the door until the moment that I was driving away in my car, the man who I presume to be the owner, was truly amazing. And he started telling me about the establishment, he showed me around, and as I am a very extremely indecisive person, he help me choose the perfect cake for my boyfriend's birthday. Not only did he help with my decision, but he also gave me free baked goods, and as I was leaving he also tried to give me some bread that sounded absolutely amazing. I was a little full, so I didn't take the bread, but just the gesture was so thoughtful. It's nice to know that a place like this still exists, where not only do they treat the customers so amazingly, but you can feel the love between all the employees, and I'm sure they consider themselves as family. It was just a wonderful atmosphere to walk into, and I definitely will be going back there to get some delicious cream horns, they looked absolutely to die for and it took every fiber of my being and every ounce of restraint that I had to not buy them LOL! But rest assured I will be back! Thanks so much for the amazing time in your store I appreciate what you do!
