If I could give more stars I would. Went here for a surprise birthday party for my 85 year old grandma, they were able to accommodate over 60 of us in a private room, the pasta bar is to die for and the staff was absolutely amazing. Prices are also very reasonable, would definitely go back here if I'm ever in the area

I want to preface this with I usually hate buffets and family restaurants, but it was the best restaurant in town on trip advisor and I’m no longer surprised by that. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it is absolutely worth it. I am so glad we got to support their wonderful restaurant. great lunch buffet: $13 for a buffet plus a freshly grilled steak done in front of you. I can’t even express to you how friendly the staff was. Not your nauseating “hi my name is crystal and I will be your waitress for today” kind of friendly. I mean the owner who goes around the tables to talk to the regulars, tries to say a few words in French after he hears us speak French to each other, a place that has a small kids play area at the back of the restaurant kind of friendly. Other than the great value, the food was great. Good cabbage rolls, ribs, steak, sweet and sour meat balls, stir fried vegetables, salad bar. I felt like I was having a buffet at my grandmothers house (in the best possible way) Go there, you won’t be disappointed.

Always good food as far as I'm concerned. Definitely hard working people there. I hope they can do dine in soon. Not just for me but for their business overall to do well. My aunt ordered lunch from here for my birthday. It was great and her and my cousin were very impressed that pretty much everything is available to order for take out or delivery. We have looked at many menus online over the course of the lockdown and so many places have cut down their menus by up to half. It's understandable but for a birthday lunch she wanted something a bit more special. Even with a much larger menu available currently then pretty much any other place for take out. The food was awesome and still warm when we got it. Which included striploin steak and chicken stir fry. Plus the personal nachos which were still great. There was even a piece of birthday cake included..

My steak dinner that I ordered takeout was absolutely fantastic!!! My steak was cooked perfect, baked potato even and my veggies were not soggy. The best part it was still hot!! They even provided all the bells and whistle‘s in the bag for takeout. Thank you Siva’s Restaurant. You’ve outdone yourself again

We we're traveling in Timmins for work and decided to ask the hotel staff for a place to eat. They recommended sivas and we we're not disappointed! Although they were very busy (2 large parties on a Saturday night) the service was amazing. The buffet food had it's shining stars, but some things were definitely better than others. The service however was amazing, and the pasta chef (also the owner) went around to all the tables to thank everyone, when he finally had a chance to breathe. Great service, good food, and a large buffet. The pasta looked good, however we did no try it.

he food is very fresh and i love the pasta bar. and I'm Italian. It was a very good sign seeing a lot of regulars there and the chef seem to know them all by name. The service was good The prices were vERY reasonable the buffet was very good and had just enough food. Some places pile a ton of food in the buffet and it only goes dry or becomes overcooked. not here. there was enough food for you to pick and was constantly getting refreshed. I will definitely be coming back

Went for the breakfast/brunch buffet which was not good, had very little taste. We were also very uncomfortable as none of the staff were wearing their masks properly and when we talked to the owner, he refused to wear it. Never going back.

Came with a group and we averaged our liking to 3 stars. Food selection is huge and staff were all super friendly. Few issues was that there was no knife to cut the meat so when no slices were available, we could not have. Unless you wait for a worker to come by and cleave. Desert was yummy and felt very home made. Seating is plentiful as well

Where to start...amazingg service, food and environment!! Had the pleasure of meeting Siva and his family and they were so welcoming! He knows almost everyone by name and as an out of towner, I felt right at home. Definitely a must visit whenbin Timmins. Picture: custom spaghettini with chicken, shrimp, mushroom, roasted red peppers, red onions, spinach and just a hint of red chilli flakes and cheese of course???????? man was it deliccccciiiioooouuuus.

We didn't have a great experience unfortunately. We stopped in for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon, everything was quite as to be expected. My husband's seafood pasta was gritty and had chunks of broken mussel shell through it. He tried his best to eat around it. After we were done we told the server, she went to talk to the cook. Only excuses were given, no apology, no acceptance of responsibility. It's too bad... we hardly go out because of COVID and to have such poor food when we do... we wont be back.

Great locally owned restaurant. All you can eat ribs were fantastic. The 4 cheese burger was juicy and fresh. The Quebec style poutine (curds) was also very good. The owner came over at the end of our meal because he could tell we weren't local and chatted for a bit. Love the small town vibe. Definitely recommended!

Loved this place. We had breakfast which came quickly and was good. I ordered a tea which came with a crazy huge water kettle. Like, I never get that much water when I order tea at restaurants! The owner came out after our meal and talked to us for a bit about his country and how much he loves the nature here. I can't even say how much I loved it. When I am in Timmins again I'll be back to try lunch!

Worst management in the city of Timmins. They say something over the phone and when we reach their they change the statement. The owner is rude and lot of mismanagement going on from his side. He promised us buffet dinner till 8:30 but refused us dinner at 7:45. He left us with no option of food at that time, had to eat just Tim Horton wrap for dinner. I would prefer to sleep hungry rather than going to this outlet for food

You will have much more than what you paid for and leave with a smile. What more could you ask of a resturant. Fresh pasta. Rosé sauce. Alfredo. Tomato. Rigatoni, and all the other Italian words we carb lovers have come to respect. Sivas was socially distanced - but I couldn't keep my distance from the pasta bar. Siva didn't serve me, but his brother threw together the most delicious pasta I've eaten in years. He added all the meats, a nice rosé sauce, and I slurped it up like it was my last meal. Nothing says pasta like feeling your arteries hardening after a hearty meal, and Sivas delivered.

I am in Timmins for a few days and when I was looking for a place to eat I found Siva's Place and so I read the reviews. The review that said a person who works there was not wearing his mask made me feel comfortable about going there because he may empathize with me and also follows the ontario reopening act and human rights laws on mask exemptions for those with a disability. I was happy because I found a place that I could feel safe from being humiliated, intimidated and discriminated against for my disability which creates an inability to wear a mask and especially in front of my daughter that was with me. The restaurant is located in a convenient spot and you have ample car parking facility. The ambience is great and the unit is run two brothers from Sri Lanka and their mother also helps in their endeavors. One brother looks after the counter and the other goes round the tables and sees that the guests are taken care of. The food is good and served by experienced hands. The staff are very cooperative and are willing to help. The only regret is that they don't have Indian or Sri Lankan food in the menu. We were very comfortable having food in the unit.

We we're traveling in Timmins for work and decided to ask the hotel staff for a place to eat. They recommended sivas and we we're not disappointed! Although they were very busy (2 large parties on a Saturday night) the service was amazing. The buffet food had it's shining stars, but some things were definitely better than others. The service however was amazing, and the pasta chef (also the owner) went around to all the tables to thank everyone, when he finally had a chance to breathe. Great service, good food, and a large buffet. The pasta looked good, however we did no try it.

Had the buffet and it was not good at all was very mad and disappointed ???? I didn't get my money and it was like throwing the money in the garbage ????????????but then I got the hamburger with mash and gravy and it was very good that why I went back for the buffet and never again for buffet ribs we're so dry steak was thin and no spices and the salad bar was not good at all ..

We just arrived in Timmins for the night. Have never been to Timmins before and stumbled on this restaurant. Our group had burgers, pulled pork, clubhouse, Philly steak, and corned beef. Everything was excellent!
