They have some of the freshest produce in town with a lot of variety. There prices are more expensive than food basics, but the store is cleaner, has more variety. They have much better prices than Rome's or Pinos. The deli has good tray options with very reasonable prices. I ordered my entire wedding flowers (bouquets, table arrangements, church arrangements, boutonnières etc.) as well as all the Deserts and deli for the 11pm meal and luncheon for wedding party before the wedding. They did a fantastic job. Easy to order, staff were helpful, delivery was seamless, flowers were beautiful, food was great and all at a quarter the price had I gone to a traditional flourist and caterers. They took away a lot of the stress of the wedding.

The most ignorant staff i have seen. Never do reviews but decided this time its worth it. Managment needs to have better managment of staff instead of always outside smoking. Also be prepared to spend most of your evening in a linr up becUse they only ever have 1 cashier open because you will be asked to leave the express counter if you habe 5 items. Unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money else where!

Poor management at this location. Head office needs to school this management. 3 reasons (of a long list): The lineups are a mess, especially during this time people are crowding around the ends of the aisles budding each other and bumping into each other, confused as to where to go. It's as if the management has not looked at any of the other stores in southwestern Ontario and realized they need one dedicated line and a staff member to direct. Too cheap to pay for one employee to increase the efficiency and safety of the customers in this community. Management should also tell Laura the cashier to follow Metro store announcements that play frequently that the mask is supposed "cover the nose and face"... Management walked out of the office right in view of her and said/did nothing, if she has a nasal issue, management should be providing her a face shield. Visited a different Metro today in London and they have none of these issues. This location should be investigated by corporate. Do they not know how to label product pricing properly? Which price is this product for? (Image below)

Metro is in a good location. They have really good produce and lots of ready too eat food for lunches or quick dinners. They have a convenient public washroom which is really nice. It's not a huge supermarket but it has pretty much everything you could want.

Disappointed! That is how I would describe my visit to Metro. Their shelf product placement is confusing. Such as tomato paste...kept with premade tomato sauce, nowhere near canned tomatoes. On top of that, the Teller was unpleasant. Everytime I said something, I got a weird look from her, but not a single word in response. It had nothing to do with the fact you could tell she was deaf, she was ignoring me on purpose.

I find this particular laundry mat, is not the cleanest in the city. Id advise everyone to go to the Backdoor Laundry Mat OR, the First Ave Coin Laundry Mat (i believe it's called.). In my experience, these two are the cleanest with the best customer service if a problem arises and The Backdoor Laundry Mat has SEVEN 24/7 working security pants!

While I do find that doing all my grocery shopping here can get expensive, I must admit the quality of the fresh food and the customer service is second to none. They do have excellent deals on some items and I always go here when I'm looking for a particular fresh ingredient, or for something hard to find. Their produce, meat, and floral departments are by far my favorites. The staff are amazing and I never regret coming here, even if I may pay a little extra. They are wheelchair accessible and staff will help you if you need extra assistance.

If the Metro in Picton are not doing returns, they should put a sign on the door stressing that. I bought a jar of decaf instant coffee by mistake and took it back. There was nothing wrong with it nor was it opened. It could have been wiped down and put back on the shelf for the next five people to touch it before someone bought it as some groceries do. When I asked what I'm supposed to do with if I can't use it, I was told " That's not our problem". No it is not Metro's problem. It is my problem. I lost $7.99 but with other grocery stores in the area and a new one going up, it will be a very, very long time before I set foot in any Metro and we have been shopping there for years. Sorry, but to me it is the principle of the issue.

Once in awhile i get the 4 pack subs. Always taste good. The stone baked pizza’s are to die for. A must try. Meat is fairly priced here. Besides that the store doesn’t price match and prices on many items are more expensive compared to other grocery stores. The store is located in the mall which is nice but there’s not much in there. The mall is slowly rebuilding itself since Walmart killed the competion everywhere!

Good quality meat and bakery. Theres usually a good cut of meat on sale each week. I like the deli as well. Everything else i get at No Frills or Food Basics because of over pricing. If meat is onsale make sure you buy the big package. The meat in the bins are priced higher. Sneaky but i suspect most stores do this. Be carefull.

Best Grocery in Perth. Perth essentially has 3 groceries: A large independent grocery, a very expensive "high end" grocery and Metro grocery. I would say Metro is in the middle as far as pricing goes, but it carries lots of product brands not seen elsewhere- and their bakery is great! Staff is also very helpful and accommodating.

The prices here seem to be the highest of any supermarket in the area. Not sure why people don't shop around more with prices that seem 50%+ higher than elsewhere. Produce is generally good compared to a big box supermarket however and occasionally good deals in the flyer.

Was there today at 2pm, Saturday September 14th. It was fairly busy, and after waiting in a line where the young cashier was obviously not trained to ring up vegetables (the customer in front of me), moved to cashier #2. As I approached, the young girl, in quite an angry tone, yelled "line 1 is open you know!" in front of a bunch of customers. I went to line 1 and apologized for "getting into trouble" (I didn't notice line 1 was empty). Seems that metro has cashiers that don't want to serve customers. I will not visit this obviously non-managed store again!

Although some pricing is higher than average, I was quite surprised to find certain products to be less costly than anywhere else in Sarnia. Further, they carry a very decent gluten free and vegetarian selection, some items are not even carried elsewhere, also surprising to me. Being new to the area and very close to this Metro, I stopped in more out of curiosity but continued to shop at other, less costly places. However, once discovering not only unique selection but also the lower pricing, it definitely offsets overall shopping. Along with being a smaller, more convenient store and good customer service, I do now stop in here regularly for specific products. I gave 4 stars though because still too many items are way, way too overpriced, even if on sale. A nice store in general.

My go to grocery in Picton. It is clean, organized and you can find good quality products here. Unlike other groceries in Picton, this one has ample of room and the meat and fresh fruit, vegetable counters are always well stocked. Staff is friendly and there is always more than enough lines open to check you out. Parking outside is plenty.

Produce is rarely fresh, and often coming from countries with quality control issues (Peru, etc.). Le lights indicating which cashiers lane is open are rarely working. Last but not least, the so-called "express lane" is a joke: the cashier working there is constantly pulled on other tasks. The other day, I had to wait 10 minutes for her to contact another employee at home, and leave a lengthy message before she eventually went back to... her supervisor's office to confirm that she had called the employee (to ask her to come work a new shift). What kind of express lane is that?

I was into metro July 22. Yesterday I am from out of town but own a cottage . For a small town and I am also from small town l can not believe no body was friendly at all. I asked where something was she just pointed down the isle. I checked out same thing the cashier looked so miserable I know it’s covid but really can they not even say good afternoon nothing. I went to two other places wearing my mask using their hand sanitizer and it was the same just plan miserable I was told by people I know out here family they don’t want strangers but then maybe ask for postal codes at the door and don’t let us in. Lots stock of fresh stuff in there nice clean store but it don’t hurt to be a little friendly. I will try some little stores on Main Street before I head back hope the workers at least pretend they like us to spend money.

The bakery here does amazing photo cakes! Fresh and tasty, even can put different flavours together in one cake. I sometimes pick up a hot meal here. I'd probably buy bread here for the family if they had some that was made and baked in store. I've been visiting this store for a few years and staff have always seemed friendly. Prices are higher than some others for items not on sale. There's no pharmacy in store but is one further down the mall and another in the medical building across the street. I read in newspaper that operating hours were reduced to prevent store from closing. Hopefully with so many people moving to St. Thomas, that will benefit area retailers.

Good supermarket, has everything you need. A wine aisle was added not too long ago, and includes not only wine, but coolers and I think beer, too. They have a floral department, a deli, a seafood counter, and a bakery. The wait in line usually isn't bad. The only downside is that some things are too overpriced, and you need to check the dates on everything that you buy.
