We did a stop here coming from calgary, actually it was all going great, good greet and seat but the guy just threw the menu to our table, and another thing, we ordered chicken curry and goat curry, they were worst curries we ever had in our life. All watery curries our plates just filled with spiced water. I will recommend mcdonalds instead of this.

There place is too hot and then they give you spicy food. Not a good atmosphere. I ordered mild and my mouth was burning, I couldn't finish my meal.

We had to wait 30min in another restaurant nearby to be seated. Found them on google, called them and the lady told we can be seated in 5 min. The Food was really tasty and service was good. The glasses were not as clean as we expected, but Jamie (the waitress) collected all and brought new ones.

I’m posting this review on behalf of Bob Fraumeni, who recently dined here. He and his friend, after a day of fishing and a long drive, rolled into Hope after 9:30 on a Sunday night. There was one place open and this was it. They were amazed by fine Italian wines at reasonable prices, garlic naan to accompany the wine, and the best goat curry they’d ever had. The two young men provided friendly service that prompted a $50 tip on a $70 bill.

Hot as a Sauna and Spotty Service Tried this spot later on a Wednesday, only two other couples in the restaurant so we initially thought service would be easy. Felt like AC was totally off and it was like a sauna inside the premises. Saw a guy sitting low down on a chair behind the bar, did not look up when the door chime sounded and we waited upwards of 5 mins. I opened the door again and this time the crop of hair moved and we were finally greeted and seated. Food was generally good however, although one dish was forgotten and then delivered near the end when we were almost done. Staff seemed oblivious to the heat, even when I asked about it. Not sure about returning but hopefully its not 30C next time - wow!!

The service is extremely friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the view itself is worth the trip. The food was excellent; perhaps the best Lamb Vindaloo I’ve ever had. If you’re anywhere near Hope, I highly recommend you stop by.

I would definitely recommend Hope's Spice and Grill, we ordered the lunch special Lamb Curry and Butter Chicken each at $13.99 and Taj Mahal beer $8, not bad pricing I think. Go check it out.

I would have given them 0 star if i had the option. The service was pathetic. When we reached the restaurant around 5 pm, the server told us that she does not have the space to accommodate us as they are at their full capacity. Then we waited there till a group left. Even after then she was still not willing to serve us. After waiting there for that long she told us that she can take the order if it is a pick up, or else she cannot coz she doesn’t have the time to clean. What a poor service! Replying to your response, I appreciate your apology. But i just wanted to clarify that we were just 2 people and I agree that we did not have a reservation. If that was the reason, then she could have told that earlier so that we wouldn’t have waited for that long till another group left. Thank you.

I enjoyed the food and service was great. The spring rolls were a bit weird served with ketchup but still liked them. Samosa appetizer was so good! My favorite thing we ordered by far. Probably could have just eaten that and been done. Also got the butter chicken and prawn masala with garlic naan. I had zero complaints.

You might want to review or change your menu so there's no confusion for customers or staff. Today, I ordered one Channa Masala for $13.00 and I asked for a Samosa. When I got back to my hotel, I noticed that I got one order of $13.00 Channa Masala and a big order of $ 10.99 Samosa covered in Channa. I called the restaurant to ask why my Samosas were covered in Channa. The person who answered the phone said that it comes like that. I just looked at your menu online and it states that you sell Veggie Samosa with Chutney $2.00 and you also sell Veggie Samosa with Channa for 10.99. The person who took my order gave me something that I didn't ask for and I paid for it. Not only did I spend more money on something I didn't want but I bought all this food that I can't eat by myself. $28.00 dollars Definitely can't bring all this food with me on my road trip. Very disappointing. Not cool. Thanks! (sarcasm)

Wow! Pleasantly surprised and so glad we stopped here on our way back from Kelowna. Highly recommend lunch special - we got the goat and the chickpea curries. Very well spiced, huge portions, good value and great customer service. Will be back next time!

Great new restaurant in Hope. The food was delicious and the service was fast. I liked that there was both Indian and Italian options as our kids are more inclined to order Italian while we love Indian, which makes it a win for everyone! We will definitely be back!

I called for online pickup and the line was answered with 'we are closed' Poor customer service and didnt even give a chance to ask what their open hours are before abruptly hanging up. Online it says open and its not even peak busy hour, at least some communication and customer service would be appreciated.

Under new management from a previous Italian restaurant. Ordered take out, which was only a 30 min wait for two dishes, appetizers and bread. Chili paneer was delicious with fresh, crisp onions/vegetables, and big chunks of paneer. The Nàan and Roti were also exceptionally good, chewy, and fresh. Prices are very reasonable and service seemed friendly. Overall, very tasty Indian food with just the right out of spice. As we didn't dine in, I gave 4 stars, but the inside looked nice. We will definitely goack to try more of the vegetarian items!

Favorite place to stop for curry whenever we're on our way to or from the interior ???? great vege options, especially the Vege Korma, mmm ???? so packed with flavour. Also for those that have said it's pricey, it's the same $$ as equally good places in Vancouver and it's all by itself out in Hope; fair prices.

First of all, the food is DELICIOUS! Absolutely fab. But the prices are quite high, and the overall vibe was off. Might consider takeout from this place but wouldn't sit in again.

The food was wonderful! We stopped here for lunch on our way to the okanagan for the weekend, and I am very glad we did! The butter chicken is the best that I have ever had, with full, rich flavor. The basmati rice was cooked to perfection, with an almost airy lightness that made it feel great to eat. The Naan was also done to perfection, crispy and lightly buttered on the outside, and light and fluffy on the inside, it tasted super flesh! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Ordered Indian. We had the chicken pakora, deep fried cauliflower and cheese and chicken korma. Got 2 extra sides of that delicious green sauce. 10/10, would get uncomfortably full here again. And it was ready in 10 minutes flat!

Very delicious food but you got to wait as they cook fresh and the chef is the owner and he takes extra care and his sons take care of the service with the customers and the ambience is Awsome for a fine dining experience in Hope BC Any day it’s the best food you can get with a choice of Asian & European cuisine. Had an great meal at this place. We were a group of 4. Garlic Naan, Tandoori Roti, Indian Curries, all were really tasty. Reasonable prices and good service. Will certainly stop here in the future.

Food is good. Prices on website may be incorrect. Might want to confirm if ordering takeout. I know “prices are subject to change” and all that but I personally think it’s irresponsible for a business to publish out of date information on their website.

This restaurant is TERRIBLE, what waste of money. Ordered wings and they were by far the worst I've ever seen and tasted. Fatty and nasty. Straight to the trash bin. I ordered the tikki masala as well and they forgot the rice so i called in. They told me were way too busy and asked if i could come and pick it up . The lady was so rude and disrespectful. First and last time i will eat here . If i could rate a 0 i would.

The food is amazing! Highly recommend the fish pakora, great appetizer. So much flavour in all the dishes. You need to try this! I'm glad I did. Way better than most of the Indian restaurants in Surrey/Delta area.

We have stopped in twice for lunch while driving through Hope. Both times we each had their Indian lunch special, and they were excellent. Generous portions with rice and naan bread. The spice level was perfect. By far, the best lunch option in town! Stopped in again on my way through Hope. The Tandoori Chicken Pizza was very good; the Butter Chicken Pizza was outstanding!
