We found the customer service left alot to be desired, didn't feel welcomed by your waitress at all. Didn't love that we had to move seats because of the constant amount of people sauuxking by our little table to get to the gambling machines. The poutine and Greek salad we far below par. what a shame for such a nice town.

So yah. Decent food, nice severs. Overall not bad. BUT: cleanliness around the restaurant was not great. Also: Smokers on the patio? My pregnant wife and I wanted to enjoy the time outside..but couldn't. Seriously is it 1995? How are we still breathing in second hand smoke on a patio while trying to eat dinner? Because of that the three stars are actually generous. Get with the times and have the smokers smoke themselves into the ER not the patrons.

I went for the daily specials a few times and felt like I was being messed with. Alcohol comes quick, food takes forever (like an hour for wings once, no clue what happened there) I mean, sure, you want to sell alcohol, but like... don't make me feel like I'm getting played. Probably would have kept on going there if it wasn't for that. Food is bar food. Sometimes bar food is what you're craving.

Went in on a Friday night for dinner on the way to Kelowna. The staff are incredibly friendly, food is good and well priced. Overall had a great experience there. Slightly off the highway, but would definitely recommend going there. Their fish and chips are massive!

Looked pretty closed up from the front but one you get inside such a homely place (looks can be deceiving). Our server was super friendly and funny and the food was good. Location on the patio is lovely overlooking the mountains - would recommend the Greek Salad, super tasty!

I frequented this awesome little pub while I was in the area working. Great place to have a brew and some wings after a long day. I sampled a few of their entrees. The burgers are absolutely delicious, with amazing fries. All the appetizers go perfect with a brew and watching a game. This place is hidden little rustic gem. Friendly local atmosphere, and the service is top notch. Prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area, or just passing through. You will definitely not regret it.

Order the chalice plate to go. So disappointed. Have order multiple times. This time the plater was so small. Had 6 deep fried pickles which didn't even come in the plater. Was missing potato skins. Had 6 small onion rings. Well they just lost business from 6 customers. A plater uses to feed 4 people this only feed 1 person for $27 I called them back and the customer service didn't fix a thing

I went here for lunch with a friend. The food was good however the server was not. She was very inattentive and after waiting over 20 minutes to order another drink i finally got up and grabbed my jacket to go to the bar to pay. Our bill was $85 which i thought was odd but paid and thought i would not do lunch there again for that price. I had to ask for an itemized reciept. When looking over my reciept i realized that she charged me for many items that we never ordered or recieved. My real bill was $45. I will never go to this establishment again. I was charged for 3 different food items that we did not order and 2 alcoholic beverages also that we did not order. I am very upset over the whole ordeal. If i could i would have given no stars. If you do decide to go here than make sure to get an itemized reciept.

Was surprised by how civilized it was. Great for a very cold beer and basic but good food at a fair price. They even have breakfast, which was also good. And from the outside the place looks like you're cavorting with biker gangs... lending you real street cred without the tatoos and initiation rituals. If you're into those things though, you'll also appreciate the value. I'll definitely go back.

Great service! We enjoyed Pulled pork Quesadilla, Skagit burger, & Cajun Fish Tacos. Every dish was definitely homemade. The patty was thick, the quesadilla was loaded, the fish pieces were of good size and the coleslaw on the fish was fresh and delicious. The Cajun fries were good fries but were definitely lacking any spice to make them Cajun. Portion size was excellent.

DONT let the unassuming exterior deter you from going in. This place is worth the grub. The Rambo burger was everything you think it’s going to be and more, so hold on tight and don’t let go! Also enjoyed the calamari which was fabulous and the Brew Buddies were delish!! First time here and we’ll be back!

Had lunch here in our way through in August 6. Beautiful view of mountains from patio. Food was decent and served in good time. I was taken aback at the sarcastic and rude interaction I had with our server when we first came in and I asked about sitting on the patio. There was no provocation or need for her rudeness. Weirdly, for the remainder of our interaction, she was fine. First impressions matter, especially in the service industry.

We had lunch here and it was very enjoyable. A little old looking but is a clean cozy pub to eat and drink. I had the ham & cheese sandwich with broccoli soup. The ham was real chunks of meat verses lunch slices. Definitely a bonus for me. Prices on the menu are very fair and a good variety. There is not much around this part of Hope so hopefully the locals give their business and keep this place open. When I'm back in town I'll be stopping by.

Bar staff was excellent as we were there until last call. There's a pool table and we even saw a band there on a Sunday afternoon. Reasonably priced and there us a patio for those great Summer days. It's a pretty fair sized space with a lot of seating options.

On our way back from Alberta we were trying to find a place to eat and the first place we went to was closed so we ended up coming here. I'm glad we did because this pub is a gem. I ordered the clubhouse sandwich with a side of soup it was fantastic. I didn't expect the food to be so delicious because after all its just "pub food" but this place is really at restaurant caliber. Friendly staff, great portions, moderately priced! If I'm ever in the area again this will be my go to place for a bite to eat.

Holiday Monday of a long weekend, as a professional driver, I've learned to call in advance of visiting a business to ensure they are open. Called. "David" answered and I asked how his day was. I was told "busy" in a less than friendly way. So decided to not spend my hard earned money there. Customer service starts on the phone to any potential client or customer.

This place is not meant for person's with disabilities to enjoy. Sure it's an open concept, but the bathroom entrances are too narrow, as are the stalls. Also, the toilets aren't bolted to the floor? This is a major safety concern, especially for someone who has a disability. The stalls are too narrow to accommodate your wheelchair anyways. Enjoy being trapped in a bathroom stall that has tipped on you as you attempt your transfer and enjoy being wedged between the stall and toilet as I was. But your wait staff are at least caring.

I attended a business meeting at the Silver Chalice on March 12. We had a dedicated server, she was very prompt with coffee, tea etc. The lunch menu was a good variety of food choices. The steak sandwich with salad that I had was excellent. Good service. I live in Mission and when traveling to Kelowna I won't pass by, I'll be dropping in.

Famous fish and chips should be infamous. Greasy and fish was over cooked and chewy. The freaking ocean is not that far away. WTF? 2.50 for a side Cesar salad the size of a 1/2 tea cup. Seriously? Ya it was busy with locals and seemed popular and even gets a few good reviews, which is why i went, but I'm sure i heard banjos playing if you catch my meaning. Give this place a pass.

We order dinner on Mother's Day and boy it was beyond busy...We were told 11/2 hr wait and when we got there dinner was still not ready but we choice to stay and we are so glad we did ...The owner kept coming out and apologizeing and brought us a appetizer to enjoy while waiting ????but you know this is all new to us Am I ever glad we did wait the food was delicious and so worth the wait and the owner did all he could to make our wait time as good as he could...We will be back when we can enjoy the establishment to its fullest....Thank you again for the wonderful Mothers Day dinner????????

Stopped in July 6th for a break from driving with my partner. We loved it! The server was a delight, the place felt cozy and unpretentious, great for the weary traveler. The beer selection is amazing too, I had some kind of caramel macchiato stout - hell yes!! Maybe the place is more pretentious than it lets on! Either way, I'll be back next time I'm passing through.

Proper pub food. Great post adventure stop. Menu items you don’t see often anymore. Potato skins had the potato mash in them and all the fixings, Poutine had great gravy and cheese curd. And mushroom caps! With little shrimps in them. So good. Will 100% recommend as a pit stop/meeting when we’re allowed to see other people again. Good CoVid precautions.

My father and I ate here, we had the quesadilla and a burger. Both of us got food poisoning after eating here, diarehha, vomiting, stomach cramps and a fever for maybe three days after. While we were driving we had to stop twice for the bathroom within an hour to an accident. After contacting management they failed to follow up. Their food safety seemed poor, their kitchen was short staffed and they had their dishwasher preparing food.

Delicious food and friendly staff are why I keep going back to the Silver Chalice! The Coq classic cheeseburger and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap are my favourite - and all of their apples as well! I also love how they yell RAMBO burger when they bring one to the table - makes you feel part of the experience and adds that small town touch! Keep up the good work David and team!

They have really GOOD and delicious food.Ambience is just WOW and they do have a AMAZING mountainside patio view BUT the staff (that ONE Ms.)is absolutely UNWELCOMING AND the personality she had towards me and my friends is something we never experienced from any place ever. She has NO EYE CONTACT AND NO SMILE AT ALL. LOL. Anyways no offence to the place but I hope the customer service is bit friendly and nice. People come yo dine in to have a good time but this kinda personalities towards customers is not beneficial to the business. It took 45 long minutes to get the order of nachos and Thai chicken bites and 2 more appetizers to be served. And another almost hour to get the main course. RIDICULOUS SERVICE. Its a good idea to check back with your staff and their performance for you to be able to be a great one in the field. Thanks!

First time here. Joined our parents for 'All you can eat Spaghetti' on Tuesday night. We arrived around 5pm and it was just getting busy as work crews were coming in from the pipelines. Our server took our drink and food orders, brought our drinks, and then our food and we didn't see her again until our plates were nearly empty. We ordered 2nds of the pasta which was really good and worth the visit but our water and drink glasses sat empty for most of the meal and we had difficulty flagging down our server as she seemed to be more concerned about the work crews than us. She spent a lot of time hanging around their table. By time time she asked if we wanted refills we had finished our meal and had decided to move to another local venue where we knew the service would be up to par. Good 4 Stars. Service 1

Had a good night here on Friday. Staff had their work cut out given the number of people there, but despite this, were attentive to us all night. I'm a big fan of eggs in burgers so the Rambo burger was a treat. Whole night ended up being good value too. Sorry for sitting on your fence outside and breaking it. I think we fixed it there and then but my memory is a bit hazy!!

Very disappointed. Servers need to be retrained with customet service in mind. Lets talk about the food! Obviously the cook does not know how to construct a burger it was overcooked, over-seasoned to the point that you could only taste the seasoning- salty, poorly constructed, and very overpriced for what you got. Very disappointed in the service, and 55 minute wait for meal to arrive. Felt utterly ignored by the pub staff, when we did receive service, there were errors in our orders, the server was incredibly rude and the surrounding tables were overflowing with dirty plates and dishes. Only reason to give it a single star out of 5 was the beautiful view of the mountains from the patio. Sadly, the view won't be enough to bring this tourist group back for a second experience.

What a great li'l pub hidden off the beaten path! The owner was so friendly and helpful telling us about all the local hot spots! Pub was dead on a Monday afternoon but it was clean, well kept and the food was delicious! Very basic menu which is what I love!, I look forward to going here again if I find myself in Hope again! Totally a hidden gem!

Walked in the bar after calling and confirming that they were playing the ufc 232 fight after they advertised it on there Facebook page and they weren't playing it because 1 person was in the bar. Was told that I either had to have 40 friends or $1000 by the owner. Then she put the fight on and charged myself and friend ten each up front and the guy that was already in the bar didn't have to pay and the 3 people that came after us when the fight was on didn't have to pay either. Owner is very rude even though she has no business in the bar. Not much going on upstairs with her if you ask me.

We always stop here going to and from Williams Lake. The service is unfailingly friendly, the prices are good, and the food is always tasty. Their fries in particular are awesome! It's rare to find thick cut fries that are perfectly crisp.

Disappointed! Had the Patti Melt. Bread was burnt and dripping with grease. Patti was dry. Didnt bother mentioning to server as she is management and is the one who set the food down in front of us. It was obvious just looking at it when she put it down. Have eaten there numerous times, not sure if I will for a while.

An oasis of absolutely excellent and friendly service in what is a bit of a wasteland in Hope in that regard (I've given up on most sit down dining establishments in Hope due to spotty service). Food is standard pub fare, maybe not amazing across the board but great value and everyone will find at least a few things on the menu to their taste that impress. Big bonus marks for regular weekly events and bringing in a steady stream of quality entertainment (comedy, live music) that is probably above a level that you might think our small town could support.
