My boyfriend gifted this workshop for us for Christmas and it was simply wonderful. Erika is a pro at managing both people and a kitchen simultaneously. She is clear and concise when teaching and brings life to any kind of conversation. The food was absolutely delicious and recipes were well written too I was very impressed with every single aspect of this workshop and will definitely attend more in the future. I was truly blown away by her skill and dedication to the craft. If you’re considering her services, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

My partner and I ordered the two portion Thanksgiving meal Blend Catering was offering. It was simply amazing. Every dish was great, you could taste the love and effort put into preparing this meal. I feel like we would have spent a similar amount if we went out for dinner and I loved that there was no clean up from cooking a turkey feast! I would highly recommend blend catering, we were both very satisfied and my partner and I tend to be very picky with quality when eating out.

I've had the pleasure of taking 3 of Erica's virtual cooking classes so far: An Indian Affair, Oh My Thai and Brunch Elevated! Erica does an amazing job of teaching you about the cuisine you are cooking as well as about different skills in the kitchen. Whether you're more experienced in the kitchen, or a newbie, like me, you will learn something new during these classes. Since taking her classes I now know how to properly hold a knife and chop, albeit slowly. Erica's passion for cooking and food comes out through every part of her class, from the moment she sends you the ingredients list and all throughout the class: from the prep, to the cooking and the plating. I can't wait to take her classes in person and highly recommend others take them as well.

Attended a cooking class with my wife and two friends. Chef Erica was fantastic, making sure we all learned everything we need to know to make the dishes in the class, plus extra knowledge that is useful in every day cooking! The recipes were amazing (we did the Vegan Middle Eastern class) and we got copies of all of them at the end. The class was well organized, ran efficiently and we had an amazing group meal at the end. Communication from Blend was great before and after the course as well. We will definitely do another class!

Simply put, the food prepared by Chef Erica was delicious! Having a small wedding during covid meant adjustments had to be made and I believe that she went above and beyond to make it seem as though it was prepared right then for us. The meals were dropped off each day. Every container was clearly labelled, serving dishes provided and labeled and reheating/serving instructions provided. I almost felt like I was an amazing cook! ????I tried everything she prepared and loved it all. I am trying to figure out another event to have her cater it but in the meantime the next best thing will be to try the cooking classes! It was so much fun and what a pleasure to be instructed by someone who is not only very knowledgeable but also so passionate about sharing her love of food and cooking with us. The class was very upbeat and we formed teams to make the 4 curry dishes from around the world. It was interesting to see how the various dishes came together and the meal we made was delicious. I received two Blend Catering virtual cooking classes for my birthday this year. They were the Indian Affair and Oh My Thai. The classes were both so much fun! Erica is a great person with such an amazing personality, and she puts all that into her work with you over the two hour cooking class! She talks so passionately about all the ingredients and teaches you about all the small things that go into making a beautiful and delicious dish. The classes are not just for beginners. I already had experience with cooking and really enjoy it, and learning about new foods/techniques etc. She made the whole experience really informative and fun! The food came out amazing for both of the classes, these will definitely be recipes I will cook again! I'm excited to take more of her classes in the future, and hopefully one day in person!

My fiance and I attended the Indian 101 group cooking class and we had such a blast! Erica is so friendly, welcoming and fun, and guided us through the 2 recipes we were responsible for, in addition to getting us all together for other key cooking skills from the other dishes! She was easy breezy throughout and made the experience both fun and educational. When we all enjoyed our meal at the end, she also offered to answer any of our cooking related questions. We will definitely be back again for another class in the future, and look forward to making the recipes from the class!

We had a blast learning how to make fresh pasta from scratch with Erica! She's a great teacher and the food was delish! We made butternut squash ravioli with a brown butter sauce in class to eat for dinner, and then took home lasagna and gnocchi! A great value for the price, book without hesitation!

We had the pleasure of joining Erica’s virtual cooking class last evening - “best of Spain”. Such a fun, very informative class! We learned so many cooking/meal prep tips that we will use going forward. The instructions were super easy to follow! We loved the bonus drink recipe and Spotify playlist to listen that matches the themed for the night! Her classes also have option for you to choose to purchase a meal kit (all ingredients needed for class) delivered or picked up. You can also grocery shop for your own supplies as she provides email with grocery list etc. Highly highly recommend her cooking classes for yourself or as a gift for someone. I received this experience as a birthday gift and loved it!

Ordered the gourmet take home and was a little disappointed. The idea of it is fantastic- getting 6 gourmet meals delivered to you on a Friday. I understand it could have been an off week or an off serving but 2/6 of the meals were awful. The quiche and The risotto were over salted so it wasn’t great (pork was a bit tough but not a deal breaker). The other meals and the strawberry rhubarb deserts were good though but for the price I wouldn’t order again since a third of it was a miss due to it being too salty. Portion size was decent but on the smaller side for some of the dishes.

We’ve worked with Erica multiple times throughout the last few years and every experience has been beyond exceptional. Erica has catered events at our venue and the quality of her food and service is top notch. We've also recently hired Erica to do a virtual cooking class for our 250 members and it was a huge success. Chef Erica is absolutely amazing! She created the perfect Asian fusion menu for a private cooking class in my home. Recently I celebrated my 60th Birthday...special day for me reaching this milestone. This day became even much more special when my wife and I were treated to an awesome dinner hosted by Erica. The reason why it was an awesome dinner was that I had all my favourite food served to me...woohooo! First it was the Ceasr Salad with a twist...no croutons...it was so good that you have to wonder what she did to make it special...next was my medium rare steak...seasoning and flavour was excellent and I was served the biggest piece which made me smile the whole time I was cutting it...there was the mashed potatoes which I liked...roasted mushrooms and apargagus...then for desert, the Panna cotta...WOW! She added strawberries on top...truth be told I do not eat strawberries, my wife does but with what Erica did with the Panna cotta and strawberry toppings I cannot stop eating. As always we love the food she delivers but that night was extra special because we were made to feel special with the food that she prepared...that tells us a lot about who she is as a person and her passion for preparing quality food.

Chef Erica’s Lebanese Meza class was extremely entertaining and informative at the same time. I took the option of picking up the ingredients from her the day before. Everything was fresh and well organized and labeled. We received the recipes and a list of utensils that we would need. It was a super fast paced course with tons of tips and lots of laughs. I have some experience cooking in restaurants but I still learned all kinds of knife skills and tips about spices and seasonings. I really enjoyed how while we were waiting for everyone to catch up she entertained us with interesting stories about her family and background. I would highly recommend her classes to both novice and cooks with some experience!

I read about Erica’s Gourmet Take Home Meals near the beginning of the COVID stay at home orders and it was on my list of things to try. Fast forward many weeks and I found out that it was the last week of offering the program. So I immediately messaged her and she was so unbelievably accommodating. My husband and I shared all the entrees and they were fantastic! The meals were flavourful, well seasoned and creative. Never would you suspect that they were reheated from frozen; everything heat up beautifully! We also purchased focaccia and cinnamon buns. What can I say? Amazing! Thank you so much for a great experience, Erica. We’re only sorry that we didn’t try it sooner :)

Excellent gourmet food. Blend Catering prepared a very impressive board luncheon at our head office. From the initial contact, many options were presented, Chef Erica was very attentive to customize the event as per our choices and needs. I received a detailed email with questions about preferences.We were given choices between hot or cold meals, different courses, style of presentation (family style, buffet, personalized, etc). Chef Erica has always replied to all follow up emails within minutes. She was there exactly on time, prepared the board room herself. The menu was an amazing greens and apple salad with her specially prepared dressing, vegitable cold pasta with hint of garlic, her very famous Roast Beef sandwitches (that is one of her signature dishes) and a delicious double-decker chocolate cake with exotic fruits and berries. The amount of food was so generous, that there were so much left over food for the next day. The quality of food was extra-ordinary, fresh bread and fresh ingredients. I couldnt have asked for anything better. The cost was very reasonable too, Blend Catering worked within the budget we have offered. Chef Erica was professional, attentive to details, excellent cook, but most of all, she has passion for cooking. For me, she is the best cook in Hamilton as far as I know, and I have tried most of what Hamilton offers. We are certainly going to organize more events with Blend Catering.

Lebanese Online Cooking Class was amazing. Thanks to Chef Erica we can now cook authentic Lebanese food. This was our first class with Erica and she is very personable and patient. We had to hustle to get through all the menu items but still had time for a little beverage while following along. Erica was very approachable when the class was finished as we unfortunately lost our power for the last 20 minutes of the class but completed our meal with Erica’s help.
