Went to event which was catered by Allano's, and it was amazing! We had the Pancit, bbq skewers and spring rolls with sauces and it was all incredibly delicious. I was also amazed at how crispy the spring rolls were despite being take out!

I love this place! It is small and very cozy, and the food is very tasty and affordable. There are all kinds of toppings you can use in and on your food, according to your tastes. They even sell some desserts and groceries, completing the experience. This just might be Spryfield's best kept secret!

Before I ordered from here we had never had Filipino food. We ordered the sisig, pork BBQ, the steamed and fried pork siomai, pancit and okoy. All were delicious and I will be ordering again.

Delicious every time! I've been twice to Allano's and am so happy it exists in the Armdale area. The food is full of flavour, especially the barbecued pork skewers and the coconut chicken.

Best place to get okoy and skewers! Staff are so nice and they have some grocery items like knorr kare kare mix, and ding dong (nut mix), etc. Worth a visit.

Food is flavourful and made fresh to order, plenty of options to choose from. The venue has limited seating capacity but is well worth the visit. The chefs are very skilled with the dishes traditional to metro Manila region. Complimentary soup with every seating is a welcome bonus.

This place serve delicious filipino food! The place is cozy, clean, and organized. The people who run it are friendly and provide great service. They were able to prepare our big order very quickly and the quality of the food was great! My favorite was the sizzling sisig combo, but everything we ordered tasted really good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone ! During these extenuating circumstances, the restaurant promotes good hand hygiene, social distancing, and masking when you are not dining in. They follow and respect the provincial guidelines.

This is now one of my favourite places in Halifax. I have only tried the BBQ Pork plate and the food is amazing. I am going back for the BBQ chicken next. Highly recommended. Geat food and great prices hard to beat.

Authentic filipino food. Friendly service. We ate in and the atmosphere was comfortable and familiar; it felt like we were over at friendly neighbour’s rather than a simple restaurant. I ordered the grilled pork belly and my partner ordered the pork sisig. Both came quickly and were so yummy. Tip: Ask for their homemade vinegar to add to your dish. You won’t regret it!

Wow! What a hidden gem! Never tried food from the Philippines before but I really enjoyed it. I recommend the "Okoy" if you wanna try something new but familiar. Tastes like fish n'chips but seems like it's mostly vegetables inside. Really great. The BBQ is good too. Great price as well! Can't recommend it enough

It was so good. My husband and I are picky eaters and we thoroughly enjoyed our breaded chicken and pancit. We've never had Filipino food before. We usually spend way too much time on delivery apps trying to decide what to eat. Tonight, we wanted something that was not heavy or greasy, but comforting and tasty (but not soup). It hit the spot. Everything tasted fresh as well, which is really nice. We'll be ordering again. Thank you for the java rice!
