I love the staff here. I am here on Fridays for Rotary meetings and the team there always shows how much they care about their guests. A great venue for large groups.

It's really about the people who you are there with, otherwise, it's still slow food service and food is just okay. Lots of parking and venue is located in the heart of the city. Lighting isn't great and the 2 pillars in the middle of the room cause a sightline issue. Be cautious when planning your event here if these are issues for you.

Attended a wedding here. Nice place, great food. Lots of room. Divided room, so there was a bit of excess noise from other party, but not a large concern.

The food and service is fantastic! We had a beautiful outside dinner under a tent while it rained. I believe they do these meals on Friday/Sat only The server's catered to my allergy child and pointed out what she couldn't eat, in fact we called ahead and the prepped her food and desert. The price was very reasonable. Will definitely go here again.

I dined at the Italian club having high expectations from the reviews. When we arrived we waited about 10 minutes to be greeted, we were told our table was given away and had to wait for another to be cleared. The greeter was pretty rude. We were then sat and waited 25 minutes to get our order for food and drinks taken. Our food then came 40 minutes later. Our food was great. This is the tiger prawn pasta. Someone did not check on us until our food was done and then waited another 20 minutes for bill to pay. Food was good for takeout but I don't think I'd go back unfortunately.

It is a foundation of the Guelph community and "The Ward" and with its recent improvements, is that much more a pleasure to go to. There, I have hosted and helped host Secondary Co-operative Education Employer Gratitude breakfasts; the Guelph Sports Hall of Fame and Kiwanis Sports Celebrity Charity Dinner; High School Graduations and Reunions. Consider it when you have an event. I highly recommend it - and the food is like "mom's home cooking!"

Had a dinner with 5 of my ‘bubble’ people. Had dinner in the 7-9 slot. Arrived a bit early and saw some folks I knew and the said it was great. Mine and my husband ‘s order was the calamari, Caesar salad, a beef sandwich and garlic and Parmesan wings. Honestly; so delicious ( thank you Jim P) that I will be re-booking again. The table spacing, the service was great and mostly taking advantage of supporting our local businesses.

I was reaching out to them to get information as I was considering having my wedding here. It was like pulling teeth to get any sort of pricing from them, and once I did it was impossible to set a time to come view the venue. I emailed on a Friday asking if we could come see it that coming Wednesday. By the Tuesday afternoon I still did not hear back so I followed up again. Finally received a response Wednesday afternoon saying that wouldn't work and asked if we could come in Saturday. I responded back a few hours later saying Saturday does not work, what about Monday at such and such time. No response, so I followed up AGAIN on the following Tuesday and I received a response within minutes. No apologies, no explanations, just them offering different times. Don't waste your time with them.

My wife's work place had a factory Christmas party here. The food was great, drinks were a bit pricy. The display and decorations was very nice. Only down fall they had was for me as a designated driver coffee was scarce till near the end of the night.

New years sucked. The price went up 30 a couple and the drinks were 6 to 7 ea. Our table was the last served dinner. Tables around us were being cleared before we ate. And it was cold. Never again!

I attend Rotary there every Friday. They always do a good job on the food. When they do pizza or pasta they are great. What really makes the place for me are the servers. They remember who wants tea and who wants coffee for a group of 60-70 people.
