I've been enjoying it lots lately, it seems anytime I order they have a hell of a time understanding what I'm asking for, telling me they don't have a certain sauce or spice, then immediately offering me that sauce or spice afterwards, food's still good, just can be frustrating but I am pretty picky about my sauces and spices.

It was my first visit to Grande Prairie so I actually don’t know what the food standard in this area. FYI it’s very personal opinion. It was a very interesting experience for me. I don’t think they’ve had Asian food before especially Pad Thai. I ordered Pad Thai sumo size. I am satisfied with the food size but the thing is about the taste. Very disappointing...And I’ve never had pad Thai with a hard boiled egg not the scrambled eggs. If you are starving, you wanna fill your tummy with something to eat, you can try this place but if you expect good Asian foods don’t go there.

Could someone PLEASE taste test the Pad Thai! I just ordered it again after having been disappointed years ago. Eternal optimist much? I don't know how it could possibly taste less like pad Thai? If one three a dart at an Asian flavour list you might accidentally come up with something that resembles Pad Thai more than this.... Sad.

Ordered and paid for a large Butter Chicken. Was served a "kids size" smallest on the plate. Explained that I have paid for the large portion. Unfriendly ... Had to wait extra long for the right size. Ordered for my wife Hong Kong dish, but the chicken was half done, tasted raw. Will stay away for this place.

Vegetarians Beware!! This is the second time there has been stray meat pieces in my vegetarian dish. Good food, but it's hard to enjoy it when you don't know if a hunk of beef is lurking in your noodles....

Firstly, I wanna confirm the date of my order, December 24th. The order we have received from Skip the dishes was terrible! My order was Korean beef with rice, Butter chicken with chow mein noodles, Firecracker with udon noodles and Padthai. Turning out to be the worst 80 dollar spent experience with Wokbox. They tried to offer free side dishes but that didn’t cover up the main dishes we have got. The noodles weren’t exactly “edible” as it wasn’t cooked properly or the excessive amount of korean bbq was poured into the meal. There is still more to complain about our food and all, but then if I did the subject of my complain would be way too long. For my conclusion I would not recommend Grande Prairies Wokbox, thank you.

When in a hurry, this is a great mid range healthy alternative to the greasy burger and pizza joints in town. Choices of rice or noodle bowls with choice of protein to add is really a good idea. I wish there were more places like this out there. Fast friendly service and bang for your buck.

My favourite is the Sweet Mongolian with Beef. I usually do the udon noodles, but this time I went with the Mongolian beef & broccoli with rice. Good thing I got free spring rolls with the noodle box as I would still be hungry, I ate all the beef & broccoli but the rice was just a box of mush. I will stick with the noodles from now on. Other than this last time I have enjoyed the food at Wok Box

Never heard of or tried Wok Box before moving to GP but im glad they're here! Ingredients are fresh and delicious, and even when its packed on the lunch rush im never waiting too long for my order. The firecracker and kung pao are my go to's. If you feel adventurous get the Dan Dan, its super spicy!

Not sure about the other 'negative' experiences claimed by others (their immediate belligerent tone makes me more suspect of them than this establishment), but I have eaten here a half dozen times over the past 12 months and the food here has always been exceptional. The staff have always been friendly to me and to everyone I know who have eaten here so I have to seriously question accusations to the contrary. Still one of my favorite impromptu places to dine in GP.

The staff is nice enough here, it's very loud and the cashier has a very soft voice so you have to listen quite well. It's not the fastest of fast food, but it's good enough. I usually order lemon crispy chicken and sometimes it's perfect and other times the noodles are overly drenched in Lemon sauce. I will continue eating here.

If you like Edo's you will love Wok Box, it's slightly more expensive by 2 to 3 CND dollars but defiantly worth it when you in need to switch it up. Pro -Meal price average is about $15-17 -Lots of parking space. -Family Restaurant -Fast -Food is amazing -Lots of different size to choose (including kids/small) -Clean Washrooms -Take out or Dine In Cons -Small Washrooms -Smaller Dining Room -Busy on the weekend (but worth it) All in, all. Great choice when you need something tasteful and quick. They earned my 5 stars.

Just picked up two orders of butter chicken. Got home to realize I didn't have any naan. What is butter chicken without naan? Phoned in to tell them and they told me they could deliver but it'd be 40 minutes. So I can have cold naan with cold butter chicken 40 minutes after I leave a fast food restaurant. Then the manager got on the phone and was willing to give me the naan the next time I came in. So I can have naan with whatever entree I order next. Won't be going back here.

I've been to Work Box - Grande Prairie a few times, the meals are always delicious and I must say I do enjoy the Mongolian Beef, however the service can be quite stale and stern. Wok Box lost a star from me for the fact that they've added many uncomfortable chairs and tables by completely removing the booths. It was much more private and could host a similar amount of people beforehand, it seems like Wok Box does not want customers to stay around for too long anymore.

Tried it for the first time today. Kung Pao was delicious. My son ordered the Dan Dan which was too hot for him. Lady noticed and came over, put some teriyaki on it for him to tame the taste. EXCELLENT service, we will be back! Thank you so much!!!

They have alot of good foods on their menu. What I usually order is the Firecracker with udon noodles and with beef. I am a fan of spicy foods and I don't find it spicy. Their poutine is really good too! I have only tried the Fully Loaded Fries. It's not as spicy as it looks but still good. ????

Would have given this place 5 stars IF and only IF, the meat portions were respectable in size. Food is flavourful and very tasty! However, I wasn't impressed with ONLY 5 little 3 inch strips of meat in each of our dishes ( my friend and i) ....honestly the portions of meat weren't even enough for a toddler. If I'm paying $10 for a lunch size meal, I expect half of it to be neat and not noodles and veggies. Nonetheless, lots of seating and efficient service :)

Honestly delicious. I love the variety -- from customizing the type of noodles to their flame charts of what's hot and what's not. (Thanks for that--me and spice do not get along well). It's also in the extra details like the lime wedges and free fortune cookies. Whether you get one of their gorgeous bowls or their ethnic box takeaway, you'll come away warm and satisfied.

We have often ordered delivery from here and almost every time our order has been wrong. Tonight we were missing the box we ordered for my kids to share, mine was made with rice instead of noodles, and my husband's was so cold he had to microwave it. The spring rolls were cold and a bit soggy. Obviously it's going to cool down a bit on the way but we've never had to reheat delivery before. The post it note they used to write down our order was actually completely correct but it was different from the receipt it was stapled to. We keep trying it again hoping it will be different, we actually gave up on it for awhile but tonight decided to try again, and probably won't do that again. Giving it two stars only because we really like the food when it's what we ordered, and we used to go inside the restaurant to eat and had much better experiences then. Just with small kids we prefer delivery when we can get it.

Ordered a to go meal, got home and checked but there was a missing order. So I called the store right away to let them know the problem, the staff told me to have a store credit, after I went to their store, after work and wanting a snack coz I'm hungry. The fact that I also live at the other side of the town. So I asked them if they can deliver it instead. The staff agreed, after waiting an hour the delivery staff arrived and unfortunately I'm still not satisfied on how they prepare the meal, a regular box and half portion of my buttered chicken that I ordered.

No shame, but my family probably orders from Wokbox almost once a week. The Grande Prairie Wokbox location is the best I’ve tried yet in Alberta. The food is always hot, delicious, and fresh. There’s plenty of options and I appreciate they also have vegetarian and vegan friendly options.
