We eat at A&W once or twice a month. I prefer A&W over the other fast food offerings in town because they use responsibly farmed Canadian beef, with no crazy growth hormones, and it shows in the taste of the meat. I also really like the beyond meat veggie burger! My kids prefer the poutine, although they will eat the chicken strips occasionally (which are also made from Canadian chicken without tons of hormones). The franchise here in Kitimat is well run, clean & recently renovated, with good consistent quality food and good service. I always leave happy & satisfied!

Terrible service and the price’s are outrageous. Went there, ordered 2 ice creams and it was $10 then after waiting 5 minutes they told us they had to refund us cause they weren’t serving ice cream anymore cause they ran out. It was 3 hours before closing on a hot Sunday evening, don’t you think other people might want ice cream too? It can’t be that hard to pour the premade mixture into the ice cream machine.

Went there to get breakfast. Huge plastic container was brought to my car containing what turned out to be very average fried eggs, bland toast not crispy, miserable tomatoe half, and some hash browns not tasty at all. Jams not provided and it did need a good minute in the microwave back at the hotel to get it hot. No hot sauce btw. But, it's cheap...for a reason huh. Will NEVER go back here for ANYTHING.

The food was the right temperature (went through drive-thru), & I didn't have to wait long to get the food. I enjoyed a chubby chicken meal (chicken is white meat & unprocessed)- BEST chicken burger around! The generous serving of fries were done fresh & tasted great. I ordered A&W Root Beer that did not include ice, but was still cold & satisfying. This meal was around $7 - less than McDonald's charges for their McChicken meal (now over $10 & is not white meat. Maybe processed?) which I find leaves me wanting more.

Once in a while I give in to a craving for some fast food and the only choice that doesn't make me hate myself is A&W. The one on Sherbrooke St. in Westmount is in my neighbourhood and I've been there a few times. The food has always been fresh and well prepared whenever I've eaten there. The interior is very clean and the staff are super friendly, efficient, and courteous. I know it's 'fast food' but in terms of quality and service, I feel it's the best choice for this type of cuisine compared to its competitors and doesn't feel/taste like inferior 'fast food'.

The food was always hot good when ever I went there to eat at A&W. Today was the fist time they messed up my order for the Spicy Guacamole burger.
