Stopped in for lunch. Saw they had 'Touton Burger' on the top of the menu! I love toutons so I thought I would give it a try. To my disappointment they said it would be a 45 minute wait. As I only had an hour I had to pass and selected a toasted Club Sandwich instead. It was nothing to write home about. Looked to be tinned flaked turkey with bacon bits. The fact that they didn't have a primary menu item ready at 12:20 in the afternoon really doesn't reflect well. Would have gotten as good or better from Subway.

Great place to have breakfast or lunch and a coffee. Also a great bakery with fresh bread every day. They are open through the pandemic so get over there!

Stopped by for breakfast before hitting the highway with many hours of driving ahead. Had a couple of questions about options on the menu and they went above and beyond to make a wonderful breakfast with everything I could have wanted in it. I wouldn't expect it if it was busier at that moment but I have been to places that won't do anything for you if you are the only customer they saw all day. Bread Box is a wonderful gift to find unexpectedly.

The selection here is great and the items are all so fresh. Even the items on the "day old" rack are still amazing and such a nice treat to bring home. They offer a selection of sweet and savory, as well as staples such as you white and whole wheat breads. Our family's favorite is easily the molasses raisin bread.

Service is outstanding! Baked goods are amazing! I reccomend the carrot cookies with the cream cheese icing!!!! The bread is do delicious as well. And the staff make you feel welcome. I adore this place. Also you must try the touton breakfast sandwich. So so good.

While in Gander last October, we heard about these breakfast sandwiches which were provided to us . This was one of the best breakfast sandwiches we ever had. All fresh and home made from a petite store front location. The very next day we decided to visit this location and see what it is all about. We even spoke to the owners who were so passionate about their business and support locals Of course we had another one of their amazing sandwiches . If you are in Gander you must try one of these delicious creations

*Out of towner* Went 3 times in a week it was that good. Looking for breakfast? I recommend the "Mess". Lunch? Go with the burger! The Newfoundland Tea was great and the service was the best I've ever had. I miss those tea biscuits the most. Had a hole bag and they never made it off the plane! If you're out of town, go by and say hi!

Used to love getting stuff from here growing up, so had to have some when visiting from NS. Was not disappointed! Food was delicious, friendly service and they've gotten into a nicer location with seating. Try the toutons.

Ordered veggie burger on touton, and it was delicious. Fresh, homemade, one of the best veggie burgers I've had anywhere. Finding vegetarian options on the island can really be hard, so their selection was a welcome surprise. Despite some other reviews, their price is very reasonable for the freshness and quality of food. We also got Rocky Road Bars and cannot stop eating them! If you're in Gander, definitely stop by.

Great stop for bread, touton dough and baked goods. Their breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Homemade bagels, proper fried egg, bacon and cheese served hot to our table every time. They cook a turkey every day and serve it up in soups and sandwiches and turkey melts. Coffee and a breakfast sandwich have become our Saturday routine. Tell them I sent ya!

This place was a saviour when we drove through Gander. My wife and I were looking for a different place and couldn't find it. We pulled into a strip mall and the bread box was in front of us. We gave it a shot and were happy we did. I got a sub and my wife got a sandwich. We were both happy with the meals. What made this a 5 star experience was the staff. They really wanted us to be happy and came around to ensure everything was okay. The owner or manager took the time to explain the items on the menu and stopped at our table chat and clear plates. I only wish I purchased some bread or pastries. They looked amazing!
