Mary Brown's! What's not good about this place. I've been in a few from Winnipeg to Newfoundland. Food is tasty and never to greasy or salty. Yes it's deep fried but it seems to be far less greasy and salty then that of KFC. The taters are bang on and the salads are to die for. Also the counter staff are always friendly and helpful with a smile. Loves me Mary's! Get some if you haven't!

Sister Mary Brown has some of the driest chicken I have ever had! If you are from America, it's no KFC and if you are from the South, it definitely is no mom and pop joint. Food is pretty good, casheir was super nice. My friend ordered food after me and was giving a discount so she can save money on her meal. I noticed a free dessert cupon and asked if I could get it...the casheir put the order in and handed me my receipt with a smile. Her supervisor, in the back started to scold her for not punching in the order correctly in front of the customers. I personally think that could have waited until your line was gone and you could have pulled her into the back. My friend also got yelled at for voicing his opinion on a CHICKEN WRAP. Not going to lie having a manager yell at my friend and her employee is not good ever....

A close friend got yelled at by the owner for suggesting to one of our friends not to get the chicken wrap?? Definitely not what I was expecting as we have been pleased by their service in the past, as per my review below before editing it as of now. Extremely displeased with the lack of professionalism showed today. The owner could really use some customer service tips from her other employees. Fall of 2018- Delicious food, great service and fancy restrooms with assistance buttons. The staff was energetic and super nice when helping us. Restaurant was very clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for some good chicken! Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious, not too hot and a great size. Give it a taste next time you drop by.

Brand new location, tons of parking, very clean store and washrooms, wonderful interior lay out, some tables in the middle of the restaurant have power outlets for laptops or other items, usb ports also, very quick service and they bring food to the table, the piece of chicken were big and crispy, the taters also very amazing

The biggest thing wrong with this franchise now is quality control.....things can taste different from one store to the other. I hated the fries at this one, they weren't cooked enough. I was already a big fan of Mary Brown's but the one in Grand Falls-Windsor takes it to a whole new level. The buns are incredibly soft, the chicken is super crispy yet juicy from the inside and the spicy mayo just perfectly seasoned. One of the best chicken sandwich in town hands down! Highly recommend!

First timer at Mary Brown's! Excellent, friendly service. We decided to take a chance on lunch at 1:45pm. I half expected that we would get chicken that was left over from noon. I was wrong!! The food was freshly prepared to order. The coating on the chicken was simply delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and so very juicy. Wedges were perfect to dip in the nice dark gravy, and the creamy coleslaw was to die for! We left with full bellies and I gladly picked up a takeout menu on the way. We'll definitely be back!

Food is fairly consistent but the owner is cheap on Big Mary Mondays. He was over heard saying he's losing his shirt on them so he instructed workers to say they were out. So if you go there and they say that to you, know they are instructed to lie.

I've eaten at this Mary Brown's many times but this time was by far the worst. Normally when you order a dinner here you can barely eat it all. This time the pieces were tiny on both of our orders and it looked like their chicken breasts were cut in half. Also very few taters on the plate.

Good taste to the food, wonderful customer service. Very knowledgeable of the menu and made sure to ask us if we needed anything that went along with the meal. Made sure it was hot and ready to go when called on. Only reason 4* is the corporate pictures of the food is miss leading. I got a sandwich called the big Mary and it was child size.

Mary Brown's in GF-Windsor is one of the best on the Island. Good menu and food is always fresh and hot. The establishment is very clean, comfortable and has adequate seating for those who wish to dine-in. However, what is most obvious is that staff are so pleasant and friendly.. Good sign of contented employees! I am a frequent customer because I am a satisfied customer! I would highly recommend.

When we have take out we usually always go to Mary Browns and get great service. But when I went there yesterday I got great service from the girl serving but the lady cooking the chicken was horrible. No other word to describe her. I was ordering a 12 piece meal and like always I told the girl I would pay extra to get ribs and breast for the white chicken. This was never a problem. She checked it in then the lady cooking the chicken started shaking her head and saying "no I I am not doing it. She is not getting all big pieces. And there is a nine minute wait for chicken". I told the girl serving me I dont mind waiting 9 minutes and paying extra. The girl serving me went into the kitchen and told her I was willing to wait and pay extra. And once again she was shaking her head saying "no I am not doing it. All these other people are waiting for their chicken and she is not getting all big pieces." I dont know where all the other people were waiting but it was only me and my nine year old nephew there. The girl that served me was very sorry and she really tried but this lady that was cooking needs help on working with her social skills and how to talk to coworkers and have some respect the customers. Would appricate an email or phone call from Rob. I didnt place my order after her attitude and went to another resturant ordered what I wanted and they filled my request. Because of this horrible staff person you have you resturant lost out on a $40.00 order and lost a family of customers.

I'm not much of a deep fried chicken fan because I've never had a good experience at any of the fried chicken chains. So I ordered the over priced chicken sandwich as a back up in case I didn't like the chicken. Well my dog had a snack when we got home! Lmao This was yet another fail! Was so disappointed with quality for the cost. Extremely disappointed! Bought this for my family to dine in. Wasn't pleased with quality. The wedges weren't even hot or fresh the chicken was same way. If you want a bland, cardboard tasting, luke warm chicken dinner that's over priced you've found the spot! The staff are friendly but weren't very reliable at filling the order properly or asking you for what options you'd like. Me as a new customer never been there before would assume to be "walked" through it. That definitely didn't happen. Asked what options we had and tried to puzzle it together myself (I have bad eyes and didn't have my glasses on so that didn't help matters, don't worry I didn't drive!). We had to go up several times to ask for things they forgot that were missing and the key components to the dinner. I was respectful and patient as I knew this was newly opened and figured the staff were a bit new to the job or not trained properly. Overall, not a great experience and definitely will not be back.

Service was really slow. Kitchen staff seemed to be confused. Chicken was of poor quality with batter falling off and legs seemed to be fragmented. My missus got a large eyeroll from staff when she asked for catsup. He did not ask for extra napkins. We will fill out an online survey shortly.

It's Mary Brown's, so the food is pretty much the chicken equivalent of crack, and I mean that in the best way possible. There's also a nice outdoor seating area behind the restaurant for dogs or cigarette breaks if you've been on the road all day.

Service has been quick, chicken is fresh and juicy That, plus it's like 5 minutes from my apartment, so any time I'm in the mood for fried chicken, just a quick walk over and back
