Awesome coffee, food is decent if you're looking for a more trendy set of options and the location is great. Wish it had another parking space or two, but if it's full you can always park on Saunders Street for a couple of hours and take a stroll.

If you happen to be an English style breakfast fan this may not exactly be your cup of tea. This is a great Vegan/Vegetarian friendly spot, simple flavors being brought to their full potential is the true success of this restaurant. Meat options are available and equally delicious, but not the primary focus. Great for a light but filling brunch any time, but try and get on the patio in the summer for an extra treat.

I can't say enough good things about Café Loka. It's a small, Italian-family-owned-and-operated café that puts an emphasis on quality, home-made food (and excellent coffee, too). They offer lots of vegan and gluten-free options on a daily basis as well. I'd recommend a dish or a dessert, but I'd have to recommend them all, so, instead, I'll just recommend that you check out Café Loka for yourself!

I accidentally walked in when they were closed and they were happy to make me an espresso drink. It was just what I needed after flying in from out of town and having a failed attempt to get a decent espresso at another local cafe (when places in Fredericton say cafe, it doesn't mean they serve hot coffee, or espresso) - lesson learned to check the menu from now on! Regardless, Loka shone!!! I am here for another few days and I will be back!!! Thank you!

What a great discovery! How did I manage to miss this cozy café until today? They not only specialize in coffee, they also have an impressive selection of loose teas, including herbal teas. One of my favourite cafe's in Fredericton. The owners and staff are always pleasant, and quick with a smile. It's a small, unique cafe. The lunches do tend to be more costly than a typical fast food restaurant, but Cafe Loka isn't fast food. As a Celiac, it's one of the few places in Fredericton that I can sincerely trust the handling of food to ensure my health. Perhaps if there is any failing with the cafe, it's that the owners don't focus on trendy words like 'gourmet', '100 mile', or 'organic' in their advertising to let people know what they're buying.

Glad I discovered this gem of a cafe on my travels. If it wasnt for their brightly coloured logo on the building and people eating outside I would have driven right by. Glad I stopped to check it out as the food was so delicious and tasty, not what I was expecting from a small cafe. The service was friendly and warm. You could tell they enjoyed working there. If I ever come to fredericton again it would be my cafe hangout.
