This place must be under new management and has been a complete disappointment. I ordered a rice bowl via skipped the dishes and they gave me 1/3rd of what I normally would get ( its not even a meal). This is the second time this has happened and I called the store to ask for a refund, which they did not provide. I will no longer be going to this location and will definitely take my business elsewhere.

Been here a few times now and its always super fresh and damn tasty! The make your own salad option is the best as you get what you want every time. Highly recommend the Evil Peanut Sauce ( its amazing and not as hot as you'd think) Pricing is higher then most quick lunch spots but remember your not getting a cheeseburger here folks, your getting real food. Top notch place

Normally I love the food and staff here but the two girls working today are paying no attention to anything and just chatting. First, they forgot to give me my food after it was done, and then to my dismay I found that my wrap had no meat in the top and was only meat in the bottom. I then watched as they completely forgot to make half of a customer's order and it took her forever to get the servers attention to fix it. 2 stars for awful service.

I love this place I come almost every day and order the same thing!! They obviously know my order, and mine is a little specific.. I don't get much on it, they the sub the avocado for free and its honestly the reason I come back every day. I work above the building, If I don't go for lunch Ill usually pick it up for dinner. :) Service is great, gets busy but they are very very accommodating

Just discovered this new joint a couple of days ago and I've gone back multiple times. The wraps and sandwiches are great! They also can have it in a stuffed cup to go which is great when you don't have time for a proper sit down meal. I'd highly recommend this place as a healthy green option.

I am going there on a regular basis as I have Gluten allergy and this is the healthiest option around our office. ... anyways, their design your owner salad which is what I get all the time is tasty and healthy and I give 5 start for that. BUT then I noted the amount of salad was noticeably and ridiculously cut!! I knew about the trick of cutting the amount, but keeping the same price but shouldn't this be reasonable!!! I always get full size salad and feel really full but this time I was not even close to full - half hungry!! As I said it's been over 5 years I go there and I am really disappointed ! If that is the new way of managing the business, I probably have to find somewhere else to eat ...

Was really disappointed. Ordered 4 different wraps and when the bag was opened, 2 were salads (no cutlery supplied) and the wraps both had chicken although we ordered one chicken and one with prawns. My “salad” really needed more dressing and the avocado on top had brown spots and was unappetizing. Price was insane but I thought it would be worth it. It wasnt. Person who handed me the bag at the kitchen area was completely unfriendly. The girl at the front who took my order was incredibly friendly and very welcoming however got the order wrong.

Stopped here for lunch today and enjoyed their new Cali salad with quinoa. I showed up right at lunch time so of course the place was very busy but they were able to get me my salad I ordered within about 15 minutes which isn't too bad. Lunch was great but the restaurant was a bit crowded

Staff are awesome on the till, busy place but they crank out some awesome meals. Nice and tidy for how busy it is. I have yet to try there wraps yet, I always go with number 2 and add chicken. Sometimes they can go a little over kill on the sauce.

I quite enjoy this restaurant, I always make sure to order a bowl of their Spicy Creamy Tomato soup when I order food. Their chef crafted bowls are quite big so be prepared to recieve a big bowl of food, well worth the money though. My favorite item on their menu is the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, be sure to give it a try!

New location in New Westminster was a bit disappointing.... - was not offered a points card at the beginning of my transaction. Given one AFTER and then told I couldn't get credit for the $12 salad purchase my friend and I both just made. (That was enough to turn me off from ever going back) - Charged $1.50 for flavored water when they had business cards at the front giving them away for free - The girl taking orders didn't even know what was in the salads. - No opening offers....at least a discounted rate or something to get us in at first because after spending $12 on a salad ($24 between 2 people) and not even collecting the points for it, doesn't really intrigue me to go back. I work in the building next door and if they had offered 10% off even for the first week or month, most of us would come back, but as soon as I got back to work, a lot of people said they had tried it, but would not go back because of the price and no real benefit. Needless to say, I will probably not be going back anytime in the near future.

No signature flavoured water. No ripe avocados. Too much vinegar from corn black bean salsa ruined the flavour of the bowl. Cheap with the pita chips and cheese and lettuce. Was overcooked rice mushy and squished in the bottom. My partner requested chicken and got prawns, which was all in the bottom half of wrap so he didn't notice until he ate half. We left eating half of it and now i feel too sick to eat somewhere else. Never going back to this location.

A let down!! Was hungry and it was getting late so wanted something quick and healthy. Have heard of the chain chopped leaf but never tried it and thought we would give it a try. Walked up to the counter and there was a 2 young women in the back, who looked right at us, and still made us wait 5 min before helping us.finally started to take our order but then the phone rings and without saying anything she runs to the back for another 5 mins. After a bit we get our food and it was decent, cranberry sandwhich and a wrap. While we are eating a couple of customers would come and go, after they would leave we could hear the 2 girls arguing loudly, and also mocking customers behind their backs! Honestly very turned off, definitly will never go back.

I've eaten here a few times and always ordered the same meal. It's nice that there are healthy, fast options in town now. The food seems good quality and competitively priced. Unfortunately the last time I ordered they either put almost no dressing on my item or forgot to put on the dressing at all. No problem I thought and brought it to them to correct the issue. They refused to correct it unless we paid for extra sauce. They seem unwilling or unable to address exceptional circumstances. It's little situations like these that stop people from coming back. Update: The manager contacted me and explained they were training new staff. They made it right. Great customer service.

According to staff, the owner has taken 100% of all tips since March of 2020. Even if you put cash in the tip jar, it does not end up in the hands of employees, it goes straight into the hands of the owner and staff never see a dime of it. A great place to get a healthy lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered one of the first things they have on the menu and my friend chose the second one. We ordered the starter size and added avocado and protein to make it a bit more fulfilling and was the perfect choice and perfect size for us. The only thing I wish they had better outside sitting but given the location there's no room to grow into. Otherwise everything is great.

I had never heard of the chopped leaf before and found this place sort of by accident. When I came inside the staff ran through the menu with me since it was my first time coming in which I thought was really nice! I ended up getting one of their bowls which is like a rice and salad mixture with sauce and toppings. It was awesome! Very large portion and was ready in just a few minutes. All in all I had a great experience and will definitely be back.

Worst customer service I have ever had... Came in at 8pm and as the lady was taking our order the phone rang, she proceeded to take the phone call and walk away from the till.... As she was on the phone she complained about the job she had to do. She forgot to give us our drinks, we waited until she was off the phone to ask, but she could very easily see we were still standing there... The price was definitely not worth the service or for that matter the food we got. Happy we had a healthy option but given the choose next time we will a couple of doors down to subway.

Just ordered a signature salad and the spicy chicken sandwich on sourdough. Wow, the sandwich was amazing! I didn’t find the sandwich that spicy, which is great because I’m not always down for a lot of spicy. The dip that came with sandwich, tasted like caesar dressing and was a delicious pairing. The signature salad was a great balance of sweet and tangy, very yummy. Can’t wait to try the Popeye salad next!

Just spent a month in Kamloops and Chopped was a lunch time staple at least once or twice a week. Great variety and fresh ingredients, I love that you can pick a salad and then switch up between a wrap or bowl and change up the add-in protein. Probably 100 ways to combo things up. Service was always friendly and even when they had line ups it moved quickly.

I didn't think I would like a salad place and after nearly a year of people saying I needed to try it, I discovered that I love it. Soup. Salads. Wraps. Bowls. All fresh and tasty. I really like the peanut satay sauce and think it would probably taste good on a flip flop. You can whichever protein you want or go totally veggie. It's nice to be able to get a quick meal that doesn't make you feel gross.

Bangkok wrap with chipotle instead of evil peanut.......thai curry bowl missing the chicken and a small bowl of brown substance supposed to be curry?? For $35 I expect the food to be somewhat edible.... My bowl has peanuts cucumber brown rice and carrot...... with a side of brown sauce. Hahahahaha what a joke

Been coming here for the past 4 months straight for my lunch break and I never really had an extremely bad experience, although there were times they forget to add in one thing that is specifically added on what I order, everyone forgets to wear their mask almost atleast one person each visit is not wearing a mask, and SWITCHING FROM MAKING FOOD TO HANDLING CASH. I feel that head office should really enforce mask during a global pandemic and do another training on sanitation. It's probably time to start trying out somewhere just as close like Freshii!

Vernon NEEDED this... the food is AMAZING. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Everyone that works there is friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Food was prepared perfectly and in a timely manner! Food is decent but you can tell the vegetables have been cut up days in advance because they're not that flavorful. Toppings for salads are not very generous, I got maybe a tablespoon of shredded carrot even though it was one of selected toppings that I paid extra for and my salad was basically just lettuce. It's fresh though, and a nice change for lunch when you want something healthy on the go.

Had a #2 bowl today with chicken and it was delicious. The cucumbers are nice bite sizes the rice is seasoned nicely, the cranberries add a juicy zing to the whole bowl. The best part is the goddess dressing, it's like a light and savory dressing that resembles gravy. So tasty!!

I came in around 1330 for a late lunch. Service was quick and the salad pretty tasty. I had the Bangkok and although the dressing had a bit of spice, it came in a separate container which was nice. The noodles were soft and not dry. I also liked that there were two sizes to choose from. A small size with added chicken came to around $10. It wasn’t generous, but enough. I will likely come back again.

WTF! So yesterday I go in for lunch and order the Aztec bowl that is advertised as plant based and I'm told that I have to pay an up-charge for the vegan protein even though it is listed on the menu as the first item in the bowl. The employee was insistent that it was not included and that I would be up-charged for it despite it be very clear on the menu that it is the main feature of the bowl. I emailed the head office and they confirmed that it is not an additional charge for the vegan protein, it is included in the bowl. It is insane how little the staff understands their own menu. Be very very cautious here, especially if you are vegan. Do not trust anyone working there to have any knowledge. I previously avoided this place for almost two years because it has been bad service and radically inconsistent product every time. Thought I'd give them another chance but what a fail!! :(

I was looking for a healthy option for lunch in New West! I’ve never been to a Chopped Leaf before so I gave it a try. The place was clean and inviting. I was greeted right away when I walked in. I told the counter person it was my first time here and he was happy to explain everything about the menu and made good recommendations. We chatted while I was waiting for my food and it turned out that he was the new owner. He was very friendly and you can tell he really cares about the customer’s experience. He worked the tills, he helped the staff, he talked to the customers. I love supporting local business and I hope he does well! I will definitely come back again!! The salad was tasty, good portion for one or to share and the price was reasonable for something very healthy!

I take all my family and friends to the Chopped Leaf for delicious and nutritious meals. Today my friend’s wrap was so stuffed with yummy food that she had to take the second half home for supper. I was happy with my chicken pesto and cranberry sandwich. When I texted my mom to let her know where I was, she insisted I get her a sandwich and bring it home for her. I just ordered a wrap. I also had a $2 coupon, my total was $8.80. I handed the young girl a twenty dollar bill. She gave me back $7.55. I asked politely how come I’m not getting back $11.20 lol. She said this I what you get back. I said pardon? Lol 20-8.80 = 11.20. It took my five attempts to get my proper change back. I shouldn’t have to ask that many times and, explain how math works. I blame whoever trained her. Teach her basic math skills or maybe test them prior to hiring them. Just a suggestion.

Worst place ever to eat. They got our order wrong and then gave us a free wrap coupon (which doesn't include protein). Went in a week later to use the "free" wrap coupon and paid for chicken. Half way through the wrap realized there was no chicken... how hard is it to make a wrap especially when that's the main item on the menu? Will never eat there again.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences at other Chopped Leaf restaurants but the one in New Westminster is not up to the standards of others I’ve tried. I just had a tuna sandwich that was mostly big hunks of cucumber with very little tuna. Parts of the sandwich had no tuna, just cucumber and carrots. The chopped leaf in Coverdale grills the tuna sandwich and it is filled with tuna. The New West restaurant lightly toasted the sandwich and it was limp and soggy. I’ve also ordered a Sunshine salad from the New West chopped leaf and it literally came with three tiny slices of avocado and a little smattering of cheese. Basically it was lettuce and not much else. This will be my last visit to this location.

I'm so disappointed with what comes out of the Vernon place. you pretty much pay $12.00 for a bowl of lettuce, they seem to put less and less toppings on each time we get it or stuff is missing. waste of money. Go to the one in Sahali in Kamloops its amazing every time!

Constant mistakes with takeout orders. The last 5 times I have ordered takeout it has been incorrect. Need to re- train your staff clearly!. I have been charged incorrectly and not been given all the ingredients that should be included. A bit of a disappointment especially on take out orders.

I called today to let staff know I got food poisoning from prawn salad rolls yesterday. I only called because I was absolutely certain of source. Staff was defensive and told me because I didn't visit a Dr. there was nothing they could do. I patiently explained i wasn't seeking anything...was calling so they could double check their prawns. He said they WOULDN'T. Wow. Guess I should have been more graphic in my explanation of food poisoning certainty I enjoyed on highway between GP and Fairview ???? yesterday.

I love their food, however, they soak the utensils for mixing in a container and then use them from there. I am a vegetarian and don't want utensils used for my salad that were soaking with pieces of chicken etc off the utensils used for the previous salad. I have to ask them every time to use clean utensils. There has to be a better way! Next time you are there ask to see the water these are soaking in, you will understand.

Staff are always friendly, and the food is consistently good. Little on the pricier end, but it's only slightly more expensive than if you were to get an unhealthy burger; completely worth it. Knowing that this is a new addition to Vernon I expected it to be busy so was fine with the 35 min wait for my salad. I was a bit disappointed that the avocado was missing but they rectified this right away. On that visit I had loaded some money onto a gift card. On my next visit I ordered my salad and said I would like to load $5 onto a gift card and that I had the gift card already. The cashier proceeded to take the $5 from my gift card instead of adding $5 more. The food is fresh and tasty which is consistent with chopped leaf. My recommendation here would be to double check your order and be VERY clear when speaking to the staff in regards to your requests.

So disappointed. Big lineup when I got there, waited ten minutes to order. I wanted to order the prawn salad roll but they were out of prawns. I ordered the Bangkok salad to go instead. Waited another ten minutes for my order. When I got home I noticed that the salad was missing the cilantro and peanuts. Ten bucks for lettuce, noodles, and a very small amount of peppers, onion and peas! I called the store to let them know and they said if I drove back to the store they would give me a free water or $2 coupon. Sorry, no thanks. There won’t be a next time.

Chopped leaf has the most amazing flavors in combinations sure to please anyone, or, you can create your own sensational combination as I do! Dont forget a chopped water while your there too for a refreshing twist on water! Rice with tuna, cheddar, lemon dilly, cukes and red onion The manager went above and beyond, realizing an issue with online deliveries, calling and assisting in finding solutions for future customers, as small as an issue may be.

I used to frequent this business because I do enjoy their food but the second to last time I was in they forgot to put my avocado which I paid extra for, on my salad. I checked my receipt and I was definitely charged for it but they neglected to include it. I was in there this evening and mentioned it, thinking that they would just not charge me this time as I ordered the same thing but the girl said No because there is no way to prove that I didn't get it! As if I would lie about something so silly to save a measly $2.50. I will not go back again out of principal. I paid for something I didn't receive and my dinner was also a disappointment because I didn't get what I ordered. This is bad business practice in my opinion.

Ordered takeout. Portions were small to say the least. The "large soup" was a small bowl. The sandwich was flat with no flavour and trace amounts of romaine. Ordered a wrap and got a unsatisfying bowl with hard pita crisps. To top it off got a stale hard cookie. To sum it up I ordered a large amount of food and got Little In return. Will not be returning.
