The host was not friendly in the least. Our server, Roman, had little clue what the bar offered for whiskey, they didn't even have Crown Royal, had to settle for Jack Daniels. We decided to place dinner and appetizer at the same time as we didn't know when the server would get back to us or we'd keep his attention. Appie (Spinach dip) was tasty but my steak was over seasoned and salty and the green beans were under seasoned and bland. One drink each and we ate and got out as quick as we could despite it being a birthday celebration dinner. Sad because Earl's in Edmonton is generally a home run when we dine there. If the management of Earl's actually read these reviews I'd suggest you step up what you expect from your staff in a location that's in a) a tourist town, b) during a slower shoulder season, and c) when welcoming valued guests after pandemic closures and a tough year. I can tell you we won't be back to the Jasper location.

The worst dining experience I have ever had. Drinks were forgotten completely and took at least 1/2 hr to get. Food took forever and orders weren't received because they hadn't even been entered. When the food was delivered, they brought no cutlery. Asked multiple people to get some and they all seemed upset that we wanted to eat. By the time cutlery arrived, the food was cold.

Earl's Grande Prairie has been recently renovated. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. We just went there for a glass of wine and appetizers, which were quite good. The biggest issue with Earl's is the parking. That's always a challenge.

Worst night experienced ever. My Friends and I decided to go out to spend valentine's day together. Came at 9 PM, we waited in our seats for almost an hour to get our orders to be placed. 10:20 ish, Our food came one at a time instead of being delivered all together. One of my friends ordered Cajun Chicken with mashed potatoes for the side but she got potato salad for the side. I ordered Steak Frites with Pepper corn for the sauce substitute Yam Fries for the side instead of regular fries. My food came and the Pepper Corn Sauce was drizzled on my Yam Fries as it supposed to be for the steak. I told our server that something wasn't right with my food and she asked the kitchen to remake it. As I was watching the kitchen person who was remaking my food (we were seated close to the kitchen) he was shaking his head as if it was my fault that they doesn't know what they were doing. I had to eat my Steak Frites for about 10 minutes since our server told us that the restaurant will be closed at 11 PM. I got my bill and our server charged me for x2 for the Pepper Corn Sauce (I didn't make it a big deal since it was only $3 and I was really upset already).

I’ve been to a few locations in both Alberta and British Columbia, and it’s always the same: a few of the servers wear masks, but most don’t. With Covid being what it is, doesn’t it just make sense that the people handling our food are taking extra precautions? Kitchen staff, I’m looking at you too! I love Earls’ food and ambiance, but until they step up their safety, I won’t be back. Bummer.

Ordered a brunch plate with 2 eggs, crisp potatoes and a sausage. Eggs were over done, potatoes over crisp, and sausage over cooked. Coffee was bland. Food took over 20 minutes to arrive. Had a party of 6 and was charged automatic gratuity of 18%. The waiter didn’t check on us once after got our food. What is the point of mandatory gratuity if we don’t even get the basic level of service. It used to be parties of 12, that minimum has dropped to 6. Waiter said it was based on volume, but 6 is volume?!? Laughable. With food quality so subpar, service so lacklustre, and a 60% empty restaurant, does not necessitate any gratuity at all! Corporate complacency at its worst. If I wasn’t late for another event I would’ve had a word with the manager. If the manager actually gets this. Message me, we’ll chat.

Bad service and good food. Took us 10 minutes before we had a server come see us and that was only because I eye balled the manager. The server was slow, talked very quiet and I could not hear here. She would also serve on table at a time and constantly walk by our table. I would have loved another beer with my meal but after serving our food she did not talk to us again until we we're finished. It took us nearly a half hour to eat in wing night as we ordered lots of wings and appetizers. Wings were excellent and the spinach dip is amazing. I recommend trying this place out as my score reflects the poor service.

This was a delightful stop after a day of skiing! Service was great for our very large table and the food was delicious (it always helps when you're hungry!). I had a vegetarian flatbread and thoroughly enjoyed it. ????

They force their female staff to wear footwear that isn't conducive to being on their feet. I thought that in 2018 we were past this. There is apparently also a rule against having female bartenders at this particular earls.

We were seated at a table with half of the chairs with holes in them, saw servers/waitresses setting up messy tables without cleaning them first,the food took forever about 30-40 minutes,most of the staff stood around and talked,our food finally arrived, my burger was burnt with a soggy bun and what's really gross was the bathrooms they looked like they weren't cleaned for a week. Don't eat here unless you absolutely have to.

The restaurant is way understaffed got my order wrong, had to go to the chef station myself to sort, had to go to the bar to get a drink as table service was non existent. It's really the only place to go and the problem is they know it. I ordered the quinoa and avocado salad. When I received it I noticed that there was no avocado I mentioned it to the waitress, who took away the dish and brought it back and said we are out of avocado. I was a little shocked that when the kitchen staff realized this they did not give me the option to chose something else or have it anyway. What was more shocking was when she said since we maid we are going to have to charge you full price. I somehow feel like I should have been able to chose something else or at least receive a small credit for the no avocado. As I said it is really the only place to go in the airport and they know it. Not likely to change much

Typical Earls. Big chain with decent selection and food. Always consistent. Nice atmosphere. Amazing customer service from the bartender Kelsey! Made my wait for the plane a lot better. All the stress from work and long hours i totally forgot about when i spent some time there before my flight. Keep promoting that customer service and hiring people like Kelsey. I look forward to flying out again and having another great customer experience at the bar.

Had a bad experience here. The place is big and noisy, specially with the open kitchen in which the cooks sometimes like to be a macho man and scream or so. We were told we had to wait 40 minutes for our food since we came in late. That is okay, even got surprised when the food arrived in 20 minutes. But here starts most of the bad things. The garlic bread was already standing for 10/15 minutes on the warming table which was cold in the meantime. 2 steaks were well done while we asked for medium/med rare. And they were also not warm. We had to pay 2 dollars for jus for each steak. Which was about only a teaspoon, kinda ridicoulus. So we asked for more since we also had to eat well-done steaks. And there was one waiter who kept spanking his waitresses on their ass. Not what I would recommend.

Staff are really friendly and warm. Food always comes out great and they have a good menu and a solid happy hour. This Earl's probably has the loudest crowd of any Earl's I've been to (especially on the bar side) but the staff handle it well. It does take a little bit away from the atmosphere though.

This location doesnt allow online ordering, orders placed by phone only. Our phone calls went unanswered so we walked to the location hoping to place an order for pick up(covid restricts dining in righ now). We were told they were no longer taking any orders as the kitchen was backed up. We asked if we could place an order now for pick up in a couple of hours but were told no, that we could come back in 20 minutes and try again. Two staff member were standing there turning us away, certainly one of them could be answering the phones and explaining the situation to people so they arent wasting their time.

Hello, We came to your restaurant at lunch time there was 6 tables with customers and 3 waitresses. We waited 40 minutes to get our order taken. The waitress must had a terrible day or she is not a people person. My kids were not able to order a kid's meal. We were told tge kids meal was recently removed. There was a few tables with kids. It would be appreciative to add kods menu next time there is a menu change as We had to order a full size meal for a 6 years old. The waitress looked annoyed when I told her it felt that my clam chowder soup tasted like sand when eating a clam. She was kind enough to have the manager talk to us. She did a taste test .Which she could not taste any sand in the soup. I know it happens sometimes I will order something else next time around. The decor and ambiance is great and very clean.

Not specified vegan restaurant) that I have eaten at. We found the portion sizes to be appropriate and we all left satisfied.

Ordered take out for the last time from this location tonight. Last time the food was of low quality, and this time I received poor service by the server taking my order. I made a mistake when ordering and asked for the server to substitute a side dish that wasn't offered with the main as I thought. Instead of correcting me and telling me the correct side dishes that go with the main, she didn't bother to ask and instead just guessed, and of course substituted the side dish I would have wanted, and then rushed off the phone. This was a server whom clearly showed she didn't care about quality of the service she offers, which in turn reflects on the management of this establishment.

Seem to be hitting an Earls in every town right now. Food was great and accurate. Somehow I didn't know about the bread which is an absolute must have now! Declan was a extremely nice snd attentive server with a great sense of humour. Very glad I made a reservation especially during COVID times as it made the whole arrival experience so much better then if we would have just walked in. In the last two weeks I've been to Earls in Victoria, Vancouver, Banff, Jasper, Penticton and I'm sure I'll be in Kelowna too. The consistency in presentation and quality is incredible. I'm totally an ambassador!

I have been going all the time for my birthday to Earl's and this was the worst birthday dinner ever the table I was given was awfully small for two people and the food was not the greatest including the salad though it looked like it was few days old. paying the $100 for something like this I'm a little bit disappointed since Earl's had a really good reputation in the past for the best food and now the reputation just went down to one star for their food. Very disappointed in the service and how they treated me and my partner. Next time I rather just go to Ricky's which is a lot better food and better service for same price.

Have been visiting Earls a lot since it re-opened awhile back and from the manager to the exceptional staff they've done an amazing job at making you feel comfortable. The recently renovated patio area is also a great place to sit and eat (or have drinks) regardless of the temp. Throw in the top notch food and you have an easy reason why I spend a lot of money there.

The excuses in the mid afternoon on a Friday, June 22 1018 not to serve two dark skinned Black people in sunroom patio area who are both employed with profits in their bank accounts was unprofessional. Grande Prairie Earls needs improvement. BIG TIME! The chicken tacos was ok, and my pink lemonade gin was ok too. Not fond of the clutter pushed in between the wall and booth though.

But, on arrival, we were told they were busy and we'd have to stand and wait with about 40 other people. 45 minutes later, we were finally taken to a table that had been empty the whole time. I could see more than 20 tables consistently empty whilst we were waiting. That is not the way to run a restaurant.

We always stop here when we are in Jasper and it's always great. We try to come during happy hour, there are some good deals. We shared a pizza with 2 toppings and the prawn gyoza and my wife had a sangria and it was $24 before the tip. The service was excellent as well!

Our family was seated near the cooks, it was neat for the kids to watch them prepare the food until one pulled a cell phone from his pocket, used it for a bit and put it back in his pocket and touched more food. 2 others beside him and no one said a thing. Cell phones carry so much bacteria. yuck.

Ordered via SkipTheDishes. Paid $5 to add a chicken breast to my meal and literally received 1/4 of a chicken breast, 5 thin tiny pieces of over cooked chicken in a container. The only reason it got two stars is because the Ahi tuna Bowl was good, but even it’s portion for the price was small. But come on Earl’s, $5 for 2 ounces of chicken? I weighed it. Your kitchen staff need a bit more accountability for what goes out the door. Won’t be ordering or coming in any time soon. FYI Earls nowhere on Skip does it say it’s half a chicken breast, and 2 ounces is not half a chicken breast. Misleading and still unimpressed with your food and your response. Never would I have paid $5 for half a chicken breast.

Me and my brother are regulars at earls. No doubt the ambience is great, food is delicious and the service is always amazing. We always enjoy coming at earls and have a good time. I only have one complaint about one of the night manager i guess her name is Charmain, i have noticed from last 2-3 times that she is really rude to us. I dont know if she is like that only or she does that on purpose. I would really suggest that she gets better or you guys might loose many customers. Otherwise earls is great.. Thanks

there was a bit of a wait for the patio. we waited about half an hour for out table for three. other then the long wait everything was amazing. our server gregory was extremely nice and was always happy to help us. he constantly checked up on us with a smile on his face. we went for happy hour and ordered the buffalo cauliflower, beyond burgers and the coconut prawns, and the sticky toffee chocolate pudding. it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant .

The Earl's Fort McMurray International Airport is the 3rd Earl's that I've been through this year. The 100 Avenue corner 178 St, Edmonton gave me and my mom so so bad service . I know things can get busy but wow... who would let this piece of charcoal go out to a customer to try and eat. The pasta itself was great which saved the meal. Too bad for my wife she ordered the Street Chicken Tacos and a side of fries but had to settle for just the tacos lol. We were wondering around in the town of Jasper looking for a good restaurant to dine, and finally found Earls. It turned out to be a very wise choice. We ordered two 9oz steak with spicy tuna sushi roll, and one Quinoa + Avocado Powerbowl, and 2 pine of local IPAs. Great food and great service. Plus the view of the patio was fantastic.

I just learned about these happy hour prices. Never really paid attention to them before. They're amazing prices. I was able to order 3 meals, which are like snacks, I guess. But the prices makes them well worth it. There's a pretty great selection. Seating on the outdoor patio gives a wonderful view of the mountains as well.

Great food, fair price! My fiancé and I shared the Dynamite Rolls to start and they were very tasty! He had the Garlic Spawn Spaghettini and loved it. I had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo + my fiancé’s garlic bread that I stole off this place. Also a great dish. We got the sushi rolls for $10 (regular $17) and his seafood dish was also $5 off. Highly Recommend!

I've always had good service and pretty good food. I recently went for happy hour brunch, which is a good deal. Last time I noticed a lot of spots and streaks on the glasses and cutlery (also lip prints on the glasses), which leads me to believe they need to service they're dishwasher or adjust their service schedule to be more frequent. Edit: Two months later and still spots on cups and cutlery, plus two glasses with lips marks (been a couple of times and there have been spots and/or lip marks every time). We sent the glasses with lip prints back and got cleaner ones (still spots). While we were eating they were hand polishing all the glasses, including going around to the tables. I saw one of the girls holding the cup at the lip while she polished it. Between the hands and the towels (both things likely clean, but still), it introduces the risk that the glasses are no longer sanitary (if they are in the first place, since their dishwasher clearly isn't working properly if the cups are coming out that filthy). This doesn't seem to be a problem at other restaurants, so I don't get it.

Ordered for pickup and food was microwaved- usually wouldn’t be a big problem but they microwaved the tuna poke bowl which made all the veggie toppings warm and soggy, and the tuna (supposed to be cold and raw) warm and kinda cooked and chewy. Honestly it was kinda gross, and for over $22 the amount of tuna and other toppings was very disappointing. The poke bowl was mostly rice, same amount the last time I went there too (and I’ve been to multiple earls locations and always get this bowl, usually comes with way more toppings). Anyways I’m still at a loss as to why they microwaved my poke bowl and I’m really sad.

I normally never post reviews, but during the off season the service was horrible. I came with my mother (first time in jasper) and it took 15 minutes to get a drink. By the time it came out my food was finished and I didn’t even want the beverage just the bill. Another 10 minutes to get the bill. I called to complain and they confirmed they were understaffed. After my phone call with one of the managers and another bad trip they assured me that things would be different next time I came in. I called before I came in today and they said they would contact one of the managers. Nobody returned my call and had the same bad experience. Two servers for a dining room full of 50 people screams a miscommunication that my message was never passed through and if you are going to seat someone then at least have the decency to tell them that they may have to wait a little bit for their meal or drink. My food came out cold and I still had to wait 15 minutes for a drink and had to hail down servers just to get a word in. I’m not trying to be overly sensitive but is it so hard to not feel like another number in the dining room? Especially as a local who suggests this place to tourist I can’t believe the treatment I received in my past 3 trips. As to your reply In proper context please don’t make a customer feel bad about expressing their feelings of disservice in your establishment. In my dealing with management I was never notified of any gift card left for me so how was I supposed to pick something up that wasn’t told to me. Secondly it shouldn’t matter the time I come in. If you cannot accommodate a “happy hour” then do not hold one (came in on a non happy hour as well). I’ve screen shotted my call logs and have no record of anyone calling me back so in turn I felt ignored. I shouldn’t be made out to be the bad guy after I received bad service, that is what your reply is showing me and I have 5 other diners who can atest to my accusations. I changed my rating for you guys solely based off the food. The cooks and menu are great.

Be ready to wait 1.5 hrs for a spot then once seated, over an hour just for some service. Food was just decent. Quality was not up to par with the price. Steaks were quite tough and not the quality I expected. My rare steak had a gray tinge to it rather than pink or red (in the middle). Asparagus was old and hard. The worst was slow service. Had to wait very long for takeout boxes and bill. Saw our waitress chatting inside while the other tables were being served (by a different waiter). Gave a lame excuse about busy serving other tables... Management needs to do better. Definitely won't be back.

Came here for the first time with my wife and brother-in-law/sister-in-law and all our 6 kids. The restaurant was packed but we still got fast, friendly service. We shared the calamari and spinach dip for starters and the spinach dip was the best we have ever had. I had the swordfish tacos with clam chowder for my entree and they were both incredible. The swordfish was juicy and the jalepeno sauce and pico de gallo added a very welcome bit of heat. The others had steak and ribs and also said that it was delicious. Overall I would highly recommend eating here or coming in for casual drinks and I will definitely be dining in again.

Before Covid I was a regular at earls I usually love the food there I haven't been there in a while because of Covid but I came back Nov 11 for brunch and I noticed my favorite brunch item the chorizo and mushroom hash got changed to some bastardized version of what it once was and I asked the waitress about it and she said you guys did it because people kept changing /substituting things in it. I was really bummed out about that I think instead of bowing down to the picky uncultured swine of this city you should have just kept it the way it was, I hope you will reconsider that decision and return it to its former glory

Ordered a steak for my 10yo daughter. Would have been nice if they told me before hand that they drench the steak in some sort of spicy jerk sauce. Not mentioned in the menu either. Food was overcooked. Prices are pretty high. Almost twice the price as Ranchers in Hinton. Who knew a 45 min drive Doubles the price on food. Service was good tho. I wouldn't visit them again.

In a small city like Grande Prairie, it's hard to find a lot of restaurants that customize meals for those with food sensitivities/allergies. It is clear that Earl's is working on updating their menu to accommodate the increasing number of food allergies in society, and I appreciate the effort that was taken to try and work with my particular sensitivities. I initially ordered a salad with some modifications, and the waitress came back and was clear about some cross-contamination risks I hadn't foreseen. I ended up switching my meal and ordering a burger with lettuce bun instead (also with modifications). The server didn't seem to mind the need to make modifications and the extra time to place an order (I've been at other restaurants where it's clear by their body language and tone that my faulty immune system is an inconvenience). While the menu is quite limited if you have more than one allergy/sensitivity, I appreciate the willingness at this location to work with the customer.

We went to Earls for Happy Hour after a long day of hiking. It's quite busy during this time, so be prepared to wait a few minutes! We ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Silders, Leroy's Crispy Ribs and a Crispy Prawn Roll. The Sliders and Crispy Ribs were great for the price, and the portions were good as well. The Crispy Prawn Roll didn't exactly taste like sushi that I've had before (rice texture was a bit off) but then again Earl's isn't a sushi restaurant! It was still good and the portion was nice. I do recommend this for anyone looking for some cheap after hours eats in Jasper, the Happy Hour menu is amazing!

Whoever the blonde female manager at the front Jan 18th was, absolutely atrocious attitude. We were unaware that they were under renovations, come to this restaurant a few times a year any time we are in jasper. Saw the sign stating reservations so we went in to see if there was availability to book one for the same night and we could always come back. When we got to her without looking at us, back turned to us with multiple empty tables and not even looking to see, she actually barked out "we don't have room!!" And ignored us so we had no opportunity to ask if we could book a reservation for later. Even the poor young worker with her looked taken aback and with his head down followed is back to the door. I won't spend money in this location again. I hate to be "that person" that gets uppity in a business but she was way out of line, if you're having a bad day, remove yourself and take a break, maybe some deep breathing or something, but don't unnecessarily treat people like that!

My boyfriend wanted a spot to watch UFC, I wanted a place to eat so we chose Earls. Such a great decision! We asked the if one of the TV's could be changed to channel the fights were playing. At first they couldn't find it, which we were okay with and stayed to eat anyway. A couple minutes into waiting to be seated the (manager?) came and let us know that he has found the channel we were looking for and that he was able to seat us in front of a TV. I loved that they went out of their way and gave us excellent customer service for such an odd request. Really appreciate it :)

Excellent patio! We came here for breakfast two days in a row because it was consistent, quick and a great deal. They have all the brunch menu on for 8 dollars throughout the week (9 on the weekend) but only for the first hour of service. If you like avocado they have it on almost every brunch dish here. The caesars were delicious and I also tried the cold brew coffee with baileys and it was refreshing and a great way to start the day!

Earls usually never disappoints. This Earls however really dropped the ball. I'm only giving them two stars because, one - my ceaser drink was on point, & two - they followed social distancing. We order an Appy and one entree to share. Our first choice for an Appy was wings. They ran out. So the disappointment starts. We ordered the new feature ravioli and it was another disappointment. It was extremely salty... Something in the sauce. Do not order it unless you love salt. Like shaking salt from a shaker into your mouth kinda love. Prior to even ordering, we waited at least 40 min. They seem to be under staffed. It wasn't that busy for it to take that long. Our waitress was nice, but like I mentioned, it was an unreasonable long wait before she came back to take our order. Once the order was in, it was still a bit longer than normal to get our Appy. I wouldn't suggest going here if you're already hungry or you have a schedule. We never got an apology for how long it took for everything to come. Not that we needed one, but it's common courtesy to let the guest know that it's taking forever.

The food was alright, one of my poached eggs was hard and the potatoes were crispy. Very crispy. Black crispy. Not bad food and coffee was alright but there is better places in Jasper.

Took 3 times to get the meals sorted out at the table, which were delivered in a fair ammount of time. Although the rice in the sushi was good, the wrong rolls were delivered and presentation of the rolls was very poor. There was several tables which remained cluttered and dirty from previous customers and remained as such until we left the restaurant. Staff was indistinguishable from the other customers and as such, obtaining any other kind of service was very difficult. I will not be eating here again or recommending to friends.

I wish I had a restaurent at the airport this way I can serve a pile of poop to my famishing clients and make them pay a premium price! How can you make such a bad burger? Went for lunch. Service was fine. I ordered fish and chips and was served Captain Highliner. Which is fine if the price reflected that. Daughter had a burger, the pop made it easier to wash the dry bun down. My son enjoyed his pizza. The pool was also good. Very poppy. Underwhelming to say the least.

Earls is usually really great but I'm assuming that due to the pandemic, everyone is totally new. We were brought to a table by the the kitchen but when we asked of we could sit on the patio, it threw the hostess for a loop. She said she would have to check to see if there were any tables and we would have to go wait at the hostess station. It was awkward and weird because there were only 2 or 3 tables of the 20 plus being used on the patio. The restaurant may have had more employees on the floor than people in tables. Lots of little mix ups with our meal: wrong meal brought out but then corrected, appetizer a not coming out together (5 mins), meals not coming out together (10 mins) and although the waitress told us she instructed the kitchen properly it wasn't corrected and it was cold by the time everyone else got their food. We felt rushed out by plates being cleared even one while she was still eating (had a mouthful of food). Everyone felt nervous and unsure. No one was by any means being rude but it felt like the practice night at a brand new restaurant. Not quite what I am used to compared to the usual Earls experience. Again, I think it is due to people being brand new but it would have been a disaster if it was even remotely busy.

Great food today! Another 10 pepper Hunan Kung Pow Chicken for the books. This place is always a great pic for a lunch, or a night out. Earls offers a truly Cosmopolitan cuisine. With fresh exciting food in a comfortable setting.The restaurant is well laid out. It has a good size dining area, with a decent size lounge. Great for groups. Although the parking lot is small, parking is easy enough to find nearby on the street. This place felt trendy with a little Metro feel. The servers seem to enjoy working there as they all have smiles on their faces!.. They know their food too. This privately owned restaurant is no 'Electric Fork'. Meaning... the food delivery, and dining event has not been designed for a 45 minute experience. It's a great place for business get-together, a date, even dinner with your mom. The washrooms are very clean, and the restaurant is easily accessible via wheelchair. Well done Megan and team!! Your at par with the back-of-house, and their tasty fresh food! Thanks Earl's.

Stopped here for lunch after spending the morning hiking from the Upper Tramway station to the Whistlers Mountain Summit. The view from the restaurant looks amazing when it's sunny - you can see the mountain view. The food was good - ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl (great flavour and delicious), and fish and chips. The server wiped down everything after customers leave but that just her, can't say for every servers in the restaurant. The concept using the QR code to look at their menu is great idea during this covid time.

Thank you for replying to my comment on my visit to your Resturant. I travel a lot and did return as you asked to visit Grande Prairie Carl's again unfortunately we yet again dissapoited . The Service from our server was excellent no issues at all. But your Bar Staff were poor, drinks were not made properly, asked repeatedly very little ice , didn't wash their hands when handling drinks . We had full view of the bar and saw them handling ice and glass rims very unhygenic. When we sent the drinks back one barman was rude to us. Told the server she unfortunately had poor support. Our drinks were abysmal. Food was good. Customer service which is part of my job was not followed up on by the manager on the floor. Don't know her name. Shame was looking forward to a better experience but your Bar Staff do not know how to make drinks properly. Just saying.

Came here for my reception for our wedding on Friday April 23, 2021. I booked a month prior in the dining room, with covid all inside dining was closed but was happy to hear that Earls would honor our tables. We still had people social distanced and set by house hold, so 4 tables total. Patio has a lovely view but the 2 sitter tables around the corner has a full wind tunnel. Out of their control but very cold! We came the day before soup very salty, I ate it but my mother sent it back. Than on the wedding night my mothers food was bad, she ordered pizza, felt like forever to than see half a pizza coming because they burnt it... they did make a new one but for my mom she watched us all eat while she waited... Its good food, menu limited in general, high prices... won't be visiting earls for a long time. Sorry!!

By far this has been the worst of any Earls locations we’ve been to. Having dined in various cities for work/travel, Earls usually is a very good spot to go as far as excellent food quality/consistency and service experience. This location however, three strikes. This has been our third time to Jasper Earls, the portions are small and consistently there’s been an issue with one or all dishes sent to our table, the service feels disingenuous, the atmosphere just isn’t there. Aside from the gorgeous view, there’s nothing else going for the place.

Even though Earl's is advertised and priced as a higher-end restaurant, I was extremely unimpressed with the experience. The place looks beautiful, but it seemed like our table was placed haphazardly as my seat was about an inch away from the chairs and customers next to us. Service was okay, a little slow because of how packed it was, but my brother's meal came 15 minutes after everyone else's, and we had to ask to get it. My dad's Surf N' Turf came with: bare grilled asparagus, a steak that tasted like liver and had an off texture, and a separate plate of white, unseasoned and unsauced, steamed shrimp. For $45 you'd expect a great steak and flavourful sides, but my dad left majority of his food uneaten and didn't take it home. After mentioning how sad the dish was, a manager took it off the receipt which was appreciated but didn't fix the experience. Overall, it's a lively place for appies and drinks, but you'll be bargaining with the quality of a real meal.

A solid experience and as about what I expected from an Earl's. The ambiance was nice. We dined on the tiny rooftop terrace. It was very small though and to walk around, you had to squeeze by everyone else sitting next to you. The tables are wobbly because the ground is uneven. The service was really slow. But our server was friendly and very attentive. It took almost 45 or 50 minutes to get our food. We went at 11am on a Thursday. They had this $8 brunch happy hour. It wasn't THAT busy. My poached eggs were overdone and the potatoes almost completely burnt. Everything else was okay. 3.5/5 stars.

I gave two stars because our server did the best she could to try and make up for the delayed food and service. It took almost an hour to get our apps. Out of all the meals I had this week in Jasper, this one was by far was the worst. Terrible quality and no flavor at all. I took the recommendation and ordered the butter chicken, it tasted like it was a canned tomato soup with a touch of Indian spices and the rice was hardly edible. To top it off, we had a stomach ache for the ENTIRE night following this meal which was not fun at all. It was my first experience with Earls and will probably be my last.

I've been to many Earls locations many of times but never haveI had such amazing service as I did in Jasper. We asked to sit outside on the patio and they made sure we could get spot. Our waiter was quite lovely as well, once we sat outside he offered us blankets and turned on the heater as it was a little bit windy. We were very indecisive on what we were going to order but thankfully we had a very very patient server. He also helped us pick out our drinks for the night! Once we decided what we wanted, our food was there within 10-15 minutes. It was barely a wait. The food was really good too. Once we were finished, our waiter made genuine conversation and even answered some of our questions about touring Jasper. Might I add, the view from the patio is breathtaking! 10/10 would reccomend! :)

We had a very mediocre experience at this location. Okay service while sitting at a crappy table right by the kitchen and then bathroom. My food didn't taste as good as it did at other Earls restaurants. We happened to come here during happy hour which is from 3-6. They have several good food and drink deals during this time. We got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich (happy hour special) and the Chicken, Fig, and Brie sandwich. Both were fantastic. We upgraded one of the fries too garlic fries and both fries were great. My only complaint about the food is that the sandwiches were small, especially the Chicken, Fig, and Brie. The food was great, the service was great. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Headed down here for dinner tonight. The food was great and the service was great. However, i was a little frustrated with the lack of communication with the Host. We explain we wanted to sit outside. And after noticing where he was going to put us “right in the sun”. We asked if we could be directed inside instead. Unfortunately i couldn’t pick up what he was saying to me, because he was simply mumbling. Have a hard to understand what people are saying in a loud environment with a mask on. Need to speak up next time so we’re both on the same page. But I wouldn’t let that ruin our night! I suggested head on down there if you are hungry!

My mom and I went for lunch today. We asked our server right away if it was happy hour. She said let me check then came back a min later and said yes it was. She has previously given us a happy hour menu. We ordered off this menu and everything went well. She was a good server. At the end we got our bills and noticed she charged us full price so we asked her about it. She told us that because she punched in our orders at 2:51pm that happy hour wouldn't count. We mentioned that she had told us it was and given us a menu for it, and even recieved our food after 3pm but she argued it that we wouldnt recieve the discount. I didnt want to see the manager like she offered so I began to pay even though I was upset. A minute later she comes back in a very cold attitude and said she gave the discount to my mom. We could tell she was ticked off with us - wouldn't look us in the eye and was handeling items with an attitude. Finally we left cause we couldnt stand her cold behaviour and the awkwardness. It wasnt right for her to tell us one thing then another afterwards. We had specifically come for the discount. After her attitude towards everything, it ruined our experience. The name on the reciept was Mack, so I assume its Mackenzie. Your a good server Mackenzie, but why do you need to act like that? Not good customer service.

Ordered pickup, order was wrong when I got home. Phoned the manager and he said it’s a “small mistake” that they forgot rice. Told me I could drive back to pick up rice... I live 30 minutes out of town and told him I would just like a credit or something instead of driving an hour and spending gas and time again, he told me that won’t happen and that was all he would do for me?? What an absolute joke! I’ve spent thousands here over the past 20 years and will never spend another dime there after this appalling service. Not impressed. Came in to town late and just needed some food. I ordered take out. The one order was just wrong, no condiments in the bag, and not enough cutlery. And the bartenders just ignored me while I waited for the food. The only saving graces were that the server was friendly and the food at least tasted good. I'll try a different option next time.

I had sprained my ankle skiing earlier in the day and still really wanted to eat here. They have a big staircase to get up to the restaurant and I wouldn't be able to get up with my crutches. They took me to the back where I could use their lift and were very polite and accommodating waiting for me to hobble around. Their service and patience was incredible. Thank you Earls!

Slowest service ever. Hire more staff. You have one server serving a full restaurant, literally. Maybe if management had any business sense at all they would know how to schedule if anything. Sat in table for about 30 minutes with no service. Update: most disgusting breakfast sandwich ever.

Our basketball team has been getting our after the game drinks here and at 9PM their happy hour starts up and you cant beat the pricing. It's normally quite around that time too. Not much for vegan options but a few vegetarian. Edit: More Vegan Options!!!

We all were very excited to go to dine-in again as Earls has been our favourite spot. We came on Wednesday evening and were seated next to the bar. We were welcomed immediately by the bartender too after sitting, with a very positive attitude. I wanted to drink particular wine but didn't know what exactly I had in my last visit. We asked the bartender as our waitress wasn't around and he recommended some nice wine also even offered a tasting. He was more helpful and personable than our actual waitress was. He knew his product and had excellent customer service. Earls never disappoints us. Now we know to sit at the bar next time! Thank you.

Just left there and Very disappointed! A 45 dollar steak ordered medium and comes blue rare. Garlic bread - burnt! Salt and pepper on the table - none! A pizza with a half of the crust cut off because it was burnt! Really!?!? The garlic fries were good. Mashed potatoes were good but that hardly constutes a good meal! Eaten at many earls restaurants but Jasper sucked huge!!

When you walk in everything looks great. I ordered a burger and it was so dry, I could barely get it down. When I asked the server, she said they only make them well done. Not something you want after a long day of hiking. My wife had a curry dish and she liked it.

Horrible!!! I have to say me and my family visited Earls for a bite after skiing and it was terrible. We had a table close to all the action, and still had terrible service. We were seated and they took our drink orders, which came promptly but that was as good as it got, we realy got no service unless we waved someone down, as we waited for our food it seemed to take forever, when we waived down the waitress we asked where our food was and low and behold she said the kitchen lost our order, when we did get our order it was cold so once again after sending it back we had to wait again. When we finally got our order we never got even a glance from there on. When i aprochrd the manager it was like what i was saying didn't matter. We asked for the bill from the manager and what she did next was appalling, she took our paid check which had a 10 dollar tip and laughed with the waitress about it. This is a resturant that needs some attention!!! THERE IS BETTER RESTURANTS IN JASPER GO TO ONE OF THEM.

My 16yr old had her heart set on a rooftop supper while in Jasper. I called ahead to make sure minors where aloud on the roof and she said yes, its about a 20 min wait. When we got there we put our name in with the host for the rooftop and where told again 20-25 minute wait. After 30 mins I went in to see "around how much longer for our table on the rooftop?" ,we had our 6 yr old, and the host then said "oh, i put you guys down for the restaurant because its a shorter wait" i then said "we said rooftop" she then said she "would change it to roof top" so i then asked her again "how much longer" and she said "another half hour." We then said we would go elsewhere as we already waited half hour and everyone else outside had been seated that arrived before and after us. She really didn't care. Glad we did cause we had a fantastic experience elsewhere.

I love the experienced I had with them! My friends and I love their Chicken Wings & Dynamite rolls. People are so accommodating and polite, specially the people who are front liners to serve and accommodate us! the host who are very hard working up & down the stairs And still manage to smile that I can see on their eyes. I am just requesting that they should have a protective Face Shield, because they are the one interacting in front of us before we go Upstairs. As we don't get any temperature check. But overall the best place in jasper!!!

Food was good, but overpriced for what it was. $18 for a chicken sandwich and fries is a bit steep, especially considering the size of the sandwich was nothing to write home about. If I hadn't been in a hurry I probably would have found somewhere else to eat, especially in Jasper.

We were for Sunday brunch happy hour, I enjoyed my chorizo & mushrooms hash but it wasn't chorizo but it was Italian sausages instead. My husband had fried chicken waffle, fried chicken was a little burned.. wee had a huge glass of orange juice . Overall it was good and service was good.

Great service. Good food, but I have to say one thing, and it might be just me, but it seems like there is a trend with restaurants making sauces that overwhelm the meal. It is possible to make a sauce that adds to the dish without it taking over.

I just moved to Canada and this place was one of the first places I ate. The food is good and the people are very nice. You can sit on the patio which has a nice view of the mountains. Plus it's on the main street with all the shops so you can walk around after.

It is hard to find places to eat in Grand Prairie. Earls always delivers Good Eats in Alberta. We were a party of eight and they were very quick set up a patio table for us. It was very nice weather to sit at the patio. The food is your standard Earls menu what the flavors was on point just like any other Earls. Did did overcook War of the steak dishes we told our our server she quickly apologize refire another steak. But a few minutes later the manager came and apologize for the delay. We all order variety range of dishes such as Burger steak ribs chicken salads and bibimbap. I had Korean bibimbap and it was very good. They also have variety of dessert such as cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. The sticky toffee pudding was it very delicious dessert not too sweet and very flavorful a must-try dish. Definitely give Earls shot if you're in Grande Prairie.

Unprofessional server, he talked to us like we were dumb, didn’t know the menu and served our food over a ledge. Bought a alcoholic beverage with floaters in it, spent well over 150 for a friends birthday and the experience was very poor. 1/3 dishes came cold and a side Cesar salad was served warm wilted and costed 9.50. Disappointed but hopefully was a isolated incident. Went again March 7th, service was poor and slow. Messed up our order and took 20 minutes to flag someone down to get cutlery after the food was delivered. Won’t be back

Doing a travel Alberta 5 Day trip to Jasper and visited Earl's 4 times. Each visit was great, the Staff and Management were all friendly and gave you a warm welcome as you entered the restaurant. Service was slow to start which wasn’t a huge problem I understand lunch is a very busy time, however it became a problem when I asked to order a shot since It was my friends 18th birthday and the server rudely said, “um actually you can’t since you’re not even 18.” Which she did not even ask for my ID, she began to walk away before I pulled out my ID and showed her I actually could order alcohol. After that our server seemed unimpressed, did not come back to our table until she stopped by with the bills.

This place got busy in the evening and I had to go up to the kiosk because they forgot to send us a message that our table was free. Then as we were seated, we were rushed to order food because it was last call, yet they were the ones who didn't let us know that our table was ready. The cherry on top was the fact that our server double charged my friend for $7 tacos that turned into a $19 bill.

Don't forget to lookout for their happy hour menu if you are there for late lunch!! The best thing on the menu for us was the mojito!! Amazingly refreshing!!

Went for a friend's birthday party with quite a large group, our server Kenzie was super friendly and the service was more than speedy! The atmosphere is a little loud but nothing I haven't seen being in the bar section of a restaurant. I've heard a lot of things about the Earl's in Grande Prairie but from the food to the service, I don't think there is anything to complain about. I will definitely be back soon, especially in the heated patio!!

I go to alot of Earl's but this one is way below expectations. The Food is not the same (poor) as other Earl's as it appears they make up their own version of Earl's menu with ingredients wise. Outdated atmosphere. I guess with a limited choice to eat in Jasper they can rest on old habits.

Been here an hour no food. Table across from us whos order was taken as we were being seated (7 people) have been served thier food. Have eaten all of it and have had thier dishes cleaned from the table. Still we sit here an hour later. When we got the food it was cold. My side graveyard already had skin congelcon on it

It was my first time at any Earls restaurant. I had the steak special. It was cooked to a perfect medium. But my partner ordered a rare cook and his was dry, chewy and really tough to eat. It wasn't juicy at all. He couldn't finish his. It was almost like it was sitting for a while before they served it to us. Great mashed potatoes though. The Old Fashioned and the mojitos were a hit.
