Right now this business gets a rating of 3.3 stars out of 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can see it has an average rating is discreet, and it's founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we can be quite sure that the assessment is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to give scores when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Catering is classified in the category of Indian restaurant.
Worst ever experience for dinner. Food was really pathetic and miserable. There was no taste at all. Momos were uncooked and taste was worst. Naan was also burnt and uncooked. Quantity and quality both were absolutely disgusting. Not recommended at all. Prices are also insane. Please look for other options if you’re in Niagara falls. Alert!!!!!! Don’t waste your money and time.
We were served cold food. When asked to get them replaced, we were given the same items reheated in the oven and the quantity and quality of the food is below standard.
Don't eat from here. I worked here for 2 weeks. The owner is cheater. He doesn't even pay their employees. He cheated many students who work hard for the restaurant. He make students to work in cash and cheat them without paying. The food they are making is terrible never eat from here. There are lot of good restaurants in falls go for that
We have eaten here last year, it was a good experience however, last night was not good. The naan was good and crispy, the Momo's were good; the Meat Tandoori platter-the Lamb kebab had very gamey smell to it, the chicken was hard, the smell of the spices was a turn off. The karahi Mushroom, seemed limp and lifeless, the frangrance of the spices and the after taste was a total turnoff; the daal was runny with too much cream and little lentils. TOTALLY bad night, the food made me run to the washroom..I will finish the review here. TO THE OWNER, change your recipes on the platter and the mushrooms, bad smell and aftertaste. We wont be eating here again.
Momos Are in town???????????????? They are soooooooo goooooodd HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YUMMY DELICIOUS MOMOS #MIBalwaysbest #niagarafalls
We ordered the paneer makhani, chaat papri and a few naan varieties. The chaat papri was crunchy and delicious, and the paneer dish was pretty good too - very flavorful. The naans were hot & fresh and our takeout was ready in a timely manner.
Cozy little patio with mood lighting, friendly knowledgeable staff and gorgeous food. We ended up eating here two during our weekend stay in Niagara and we’ll be back soon! Fantastic food. The staff was so lovely. Can’t wait to try eating inside!
CAUTION: THIS PLACE CHARGES 16% GRATUITY BEFORE TAXES ON EVERY ORDER. The place was dead on a Friday night at 9pm. I should've known then. I've never experienced this level of disrespect and disregard as a customer before. The so-called manager was so discourteous and impertinent when we called him to ask a valid and simple question about our bill. We politely asked the manager to charge us gratuity after taxes as that is the whole purpose of gratuity. Instead of even politely saying no, he told us "you do not get to pick and choose what you pay for," and proceeded to tell us to wait for the police. As a former server at a restaurant, this kind of behavior from a manager was shocking for me. What's even more shocking is that this place is somehow still in business. I had read some of the reviews of this place before visiting and despite most of them being negative, I decided to give it a go just because I thought the food might be good. Although the food was okay in taste, the overall experience truly was a disappointment. From now on I have learned to trust the reviews and avoid going to places with almost all negative reviews. This is why I'm leaving this review in hopes of saving someone else from having a similar experience in such a beautiful place-Niagara Falls. A message to the management - People come to Niagara Falls to have a good time and enjoy their night. Everyone has over 100 places to choose, from where they could dine in or take out food. If someone walks into your restaurant, the least you can do is show a drop of kindness. The only reason we did not wait for the police that day is because my sister was so anxious and felt very uncomfortable in regards to the whole situation. It is truly sad that from now on I will have to be so careful before walking into a restaurant, in order to make sure my little sister does not have to feel that way again. The least you could do is try to create a safe and peaceful place for people. Anyways, as you say to most of the people on here, have a great rest of your night!
They have good starters . Main course wasn't that great. I had ordered chicken Tandoori , lamb and one veg dish for main course. Veg north Indian dish had coconut oil flavour. The oil in Tandoori chicken was smelling and felt more like fried rather than Tandoori. They charge gratuity/ service charge which is about 18 to 20% of the bill which I feel isn't worth Apart from this they want us to tip . I don't mind paying gratuity , but not for this place.
Amamzing Indian food, the wait is long but totally worth it, their starters are amamzing especially the lamb was melt in the mouth perfect. Even something as basic as dal fry was super delicious. I recommend the vindaloo for those who like spicy food ❤️
Please beware of this moksha Indian bristro while ordering food for party, we order for 25 people the food came uncooked, raw and guest left the party without eating the food. When we asked them for refund, they refused.
--------STRICTLY AVOID----- Very poor service. The place was crowded when we went and almost every table had to wait atleast an hour to get their food. Everyone kept calling the servers to know when they'll be getting the food and they didn't bother to give any satisfactory answer. Worst of all, After our dinner we went to the washroom downstairs to wash our hands and we saw one of their waiter use the loo and walk back without even washing his hands. God knows what kind of safety and hygiene protocols these guys are following. I'll never recommend anyone to this place ever.
It was one of the worst experiences a person could ever have, the food was average but what makes worse is the service. With due respect to the servers there don’t have any sense what position and part of restaurant they are in. Upon asking for an extra roti (bread) waiter said and I quote “did i not told you while taking the order give the whole order right away” and denied well common we had a child with us that is not how you treat a customer. Never the less at the end of the day we also had to bear an actual fight between a customer and the waiters as he complained about the service.
It was my second visit to Niagara Falls and to this Moksha Indian Bistro as well! What an amazing place! Especially the food and hospitality! Piyush took such good care of our lunch, especially when we told him we were short on time as my friends had to catch a flight from Buffalo in a few hours. And needless to mention the food was just perfect, be it the presentation, or the flavours ! Can't wait to visit again! :)
Great food and beautiful ambiance.. & really quick service !
Went to this place. Made a reservation well in advanced still waited for 30 minutes. Food taste was okay. Friendly staff members. Limited parking spaces. Patio is good.
The quantity and quality of the food is below plateau than expected. In addition, the price of the food is too high which is the main factor that I am not suggesting anyone to be fooled.
Just garbage. What kind of chef add mint in firnee and add same sauce in every items.
My partner and I came here for our anniversary dinner last night and it was absolutely amazing. There is a ton of food options and every dish we tried was very flavourful and unique. The portion sizes are really good, we only ordered an appetizer and one dish each and we left completely full and with leftovers. As other reviewers mentioned, the waiters don't come to the table often but that isn't a bad thing! The staff didn't crowd us and let us enjoy our time and whenever we needed someone all you have to do is ask and they're very friendly and kind. I wish we had gotten our waiters names so I could thank them in this review directly, but they were great! Don't let the bad reviews discourage you, this is a great restaurant!
An event of 40+ was handled seamlessly from Moksha at our catering event in a banquet in Niagara. All food items were delicious (butter chicken our favorite was a runner up), served on time, and hot. Quantity was extra. Presentation was impressive. Cost was right. Everyone asked where the catering came from. Staff were professional. The restaurant to me is a reliable place to help with catering of any size. Very police owners, and pleased to deal with them in every interaction we have had!
Do come here if you want average tasting fine Indian food. The quantity was so so, not worth what I paid for. Service was very slow. Had it been fast, at least they would have compensated. The taste is okay but you would definitely feel like you’re in an Indian restaurant. Great ambiance ! We tried : Paneer tikka masala - Tadka paneer (????????) Veg jhal frazi (????????) In both of these vegetarian dishes, paneer was hard and not at all soft.
Amazing food! They served fresh, hot, well presented and well prepared food. Menu has bunch of appetizer options but limited main course options. Decent price, customer service was great. Not long waiting time as it took only 10 minutes for us. The dining experience overall was avearage. It need some cleaning. Adding pictures for reference.
Good food with average customer service
Food - was delicious! Portions are decent but less than other Indian restaurants in the city for same price. The presentation was pretty. Vegan- they have an entire VEGAN AND GLUTEN FREE menu they will give if you ask and my goodness, both are huge selections. Woop woop Beer - only 1 kind. Can't remember the name but its all they got. Wasn't bad as per hubby They even veganized my pina colada drink ( I actually asked for Pinot grigio but he misheard me).....that pineapple pina whatever was AMAZING though!!!! Wait time- horrible wait times...but we did notice that the poor server was alone for the first 20 mins and clearly cooking, serving, bartending on his own so who knows if someone called in sick or not. Then when we got our food, it took 15 mins of waiting before I got up and asked for utensils (and at that point my hubby literally had ate half his plate of rice and lamb with his hands......yah.......... *palm to the forehead* Place - beautiful. Decor is nice but TURN THE HEAT ON!!@ every single person that night was wearing their jackets and shivering while waiting forever for their food. It took an hour for me to feel my toes after we left. Accessibility- not wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms are 10 stairs down in basement and there's a nice climb of about 6 stairs to get to the tables. They have a wheelchair ramp for patio for warmer weather but nothing for colder. Washroom- mid renovation maybe? Somewhat clean. But better than any bar bathroom you'd hit so I won't dock points there. Overall 4/5 - the food was really good, the server was very polite but they lost a point for long wait time and FREEZE factor. Turn the heat on please and we will gladly come back for more!
Meal type
Papers coming between the bites of naan. Manager trying to crumble the slip and tried to keep us calm so that people don’t complain. Bad Hygiene issues. Waiters charging customers. Cursing them and that makes it an emergency situation because it is unsafe and unprofessional, which makes it reasonable to call 911 unlike you guys trying to threat people and trying to hit them.
Food was great, fresh and delicious. Portions are good sized. Very friendly staff. Priced right for the quality. Great location. Will be going back at least once or twice a month. Ambience could be improved. 16% gratuity automatically added to your check.
Absolutely delicious! Great food and excellent service.

Great authentic well priced place to eat. Everything was fresh and hot, there was so much food couldn't eat it all. The services was very personal and friendly would definitely eat here anytime in town.
I am here to just reflect my honest opinion not worth the money and time to go this place. Not happy as expected. There must be more server four people just left the table as no one serve them . Gratuity charge 13$ really at least it should be customers choice that’s the reason no one take care .
Love eating here with my wife each time we come out to Niagara Falls. Ordered Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken, they gave us a little desert and samosas extra in the order, it is our favourite place for Indian food. We could honestly drink the Butter Chicken Curry like a soup, so savory. Portions were a great size!
Good food. Just be aware that gruduaity is already included in the bill so you dont have to pay any tips unless you want to. When you pay, option will be given to pay tips. If you dont pay attention to bill, you will end up paying double tips.
Not much options here, when we visited there was no one to take care of customers. Someone came after 20mins and most of the items on menu weren’t available.
Indian restaurant with good taste in niagra. Good place for family dinner.
Really good food, will surely come back and Piyush provided great service.
The food was very good and affordable. Our waiter Piyush was super nice. I recommend this restaurant.
I wish I could rate this restaurant 5 stars but servers made it worse. Servers was rude and food came so late. These two stars are for chefs because taste was so good, but servers made it worse. Hope I could visit the place but will not visit and because of servers, chefs did their part best.
Got takeout meal for two. Overall very pleasant experience! Excellent service, very delicious food, and great value! Highly recommend for those who like their food "a little spicy".
We went to Moksha this past weekend, Canada Day. It was such a great experience and the food was delicious! Thank you so much to our servers for being efficient. It was a nice touch that the owners were being personable and visiting tables.
I ordered pani puri, to go, twice. The first time, the pani was missing and the second time, I received 5 puris out of 6. For the price and the mindless service, it is not worth giving this restaurant my business.
Wastage of money and time, bad customer service, worst food I had ever ate. Will never recommend to anyone!!!!
It was o bad, ive never tasted such bad indian food before. If you wanna waste your money and time you should definitely come here.

Very good experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. They have a vegan menu so be sure to ask for that if you are vegan.
Moksha has extremely tasty food; would definitely recommend. Don't forget to try their Falooda. Unique ingredients, unique process and heavenly taste! Don't miss.
I wish i can give this place a minus rating for their customer service. I am sharing an incident from 3months ago and I will never visit them back. I used to go to this place with my family from years. I have realized their quality is deteriorating each time. The reviews and rating now says it all. And i would never forget to rate my experience for this particular place .So i ordered my meal with a Garlic naan. and they by mistake gave me regular naan. it was late closing time for them so i dint call back to complaint that night. next morning i went to tell them about the thing, the guy at front(i have attached the picture) was so so rude to me and started putting false allegations saying that i might have got this naan from some other restaurant. man you don't realize to what extend you have to go with a customer. he was not ready to accept the mistake and dint let me talk to his owner which i am sure of is not aware of what is happening in his absence. and on top of it he was wearing his mask all the time he was arguing with me. i hope this review reaches the owner of the place as well as public and that guy should be taught a lesson for his unacceptable rude behavior.
First of all, as most of the review have mentioned already customer service is really bad, I mean really really bad. There was only one guy, who picks the call, cleans the table, take order and bill and he was super rude. Looked like, he really dint wanted any customer to his restaurant. He made us wait for more than 15 mins on Saturday, just to clean the table and the restaurant was not busy. He places the water bottle (shared the image), bottom of bottle was partially green and there was no cap for bottle, top portion of a bottle was bacteria roast. Not sure how quality inspector has not done his work?? Food was okay but not great. I can give only one star coz I cannot give less than that. I can give extra star for food, if owner replies to this review
Very Cheap food quality and poor services , high prices as comapre to food quality and glasses are not washed properly. No sense how to take order from customers. Overall, very cheap services and food quality I can not visit again and eat food even I am hungry from 2-3 days. Its better to be hungry instead of eating this food Zero star
First time here and will be back next time I am in Niagara. Delicious food. Portions are reasonable. Our server was very knowledgeable with the menu and was very accommodating to vegan clientele. Pleasant atmosphere. Price was reasonable. Definitely recommend if you want a nice authentic Indian meal.
Decent food. Love the pricing more. An entire meal combo for 1 is pretty affordable without having to order multiple dishes and wasting it. Go for good deal.
Restaurant pretends to be high end by charging more and giving extra tax. The food was disgusting and tasted like it went back. There was also algae in my water!!
Delicious! I had a wonderful meal dinning in. I ordered the Dahi Papdi Chaat and the Paneer Makhani which is my favorite Indian Food Dish, it comes with Rice and Naan. It was amazing, packed with do much flavor. I decided to upgrade to a Garlic Naan which was also very delicious. Price is pretty high for portions.

Had such an amazing lunch! :) Thank You for the cute little birthday rasmalai. Loved it!
This is the worst experience i ever had. It was so bad to write something here but i can’t stop my self as i feel bad because I wasted food and money both because I have respect for both. When i went there no one came to take order than one came after 20 minutes but than me and my friends were waiting for food more than hours and when i got food it was cold and not good. Then ask for discount and gave 20% but than charge us Gartituty things. I went trough trouble only and manager was so rude????
Saw the rating before visiting wasn’t quite sure of trying this restaurant but 2stars only because they were open late. The food was not tasty, we ordered samosa chat, aloo tikki chat, momos and papri chat. I had requested them to add yoghurt in my chat, the person at the reception said he would do it but I was really disappointed there was no yoghurt. We also ordered pakoras which were super oily and undercooked.
Stay away from this place. The standards of this restaurant is degrading day by day. The water bottle has green algae at the bottom and I guess they are never washed. The food we ordered was stale and smelled disgusting.
Totally tasteless food . Uncooked chicken and briyani with no salt ..
Worst experience ever . Service is so poor and staff members are not supportive at all. They are taking so much time for preparing the food. For single item dal tadka they took 30 mins to get ready and it was not even hot too. I would suggest avoid this restaurant and prefer not to go there.
We came to Moksha for dinner and what an incredible experience! The food and the service was AMAZING. Between our friends and us, we tried half the menu and everything was delicious, full of flavour and beautifully presented! The patio ambiance was very nice with great music! We will definitely be back as well as recommend to all of our familt and friends. Thank You Moksha for a wonderful time!
Worst food ever. Whatever you order, every dish tastes the same. How unethical is this? Visited for the first time and no one comes to take order. The tip for the waiter is already added on the bill. Never recommend to anyone. Too expensive. Don't waste your time and money. Please look for other options.

Really good food and service. Would definitely return again and highly recommend!!
Worst restaurant i have been to ever! Food is worst and the service its a world class failure. People does not know what is the meaning of customer service. In addition they will take 18% of gratuity on every bill. Go there and wait for 1 hour just to be able to give the order and after than wait 1 more hour for your food. I strongly recommend never go to this place ever in your life even if its the last running restaurant on this entire world!
Service
Food is great and prices are affordable.one guy his name is piyush his service is very great . One of the best Indian restaurants in Niagara.
Authentic indian restaurant..very beautiful ambience...700-800 m from the falls.. must try chicken biryani!!
