I have not been there since the change in ownership... ...Been there. Not as good as before. Won't be going back. I will give 4 stars because they were very nice.

Very friendly staff. Going there after church was a regular thing I did with 6 or 7 other people. I moved to London, I miss those lunches. In all the times we went there, our orders we always correct, and none of had any complaints.

Decided to give this restaurant a shot as I am not in the area often, and saw the good reviews and just .. WOW. That is EASILY some of the best chicken I've have ever had. I got 3 Massive pieces of chicken, a roll, coleslaw and incredible potato's all for $10.45. You get what you pay for and then some! This restaurant is top quality. Makes Popeyes and KFC laughable.

Visited M&J's on a whim during our jaunt through Fort Erie. They did not disappoint. Had some of the best fried chicken, ever (and we've tried many). Also nice that you can walk in, sit down and strike up a conversation with the locals as well as the proprietors. Everyone makes you feel at home the moment you walk through their door. On my next visit to Fort Erie, I know EXACTLY where we're going for a meal.

The quality of food has sunk. The new owners don’t seem to really know what they’re doing. Chicken went from awesome to poor. I just ordered an M&J burger with onion rings, one of my favourites there. Very few onion rings and the ones they did give me were extremely over cooked. The burger was bland. Please bring back the previous owners. They can’t keep serving subpar food for the same prices. I paid $9.95 for a bland burger and dried out onion rings

First time having their broasted chicken it's definitely worth going back for, just served 25 guys with 100 pieces and it was more than enough fast friendly service ,very polite and also had carry out service ????????????

Been to M&J's many times over the past 4 decades & it is always pretty decent. The menu isn't very big, but that's ok. They have prided themselves on their broasted chicken for years. They are consistent & reliable. They also offer fountain Loganberry, a local beverage native to the area.

Not worth the price. Chicken is overpriced and the flavour was underwhelming. Not saying it's bad but when you'd rather have a fast food chain over a local business than you're doing something wrong with the seasoning. Mind you the chicken is cleaner and healthier but the breading had no real flavour. Worse than the chicken was the fries. We got a poutine and the fries tasted like mcain oven fries. Very dry inside and not tasty at all. In conclusion it's overpriced for what it is and that's why I won't be returning.

For 50 plus years M&J's has been serving Niagara. There's a reason why they've stayed strong for so long, their food is exceptional. It's a family owned business that focuses on a great selection at good prices. The quality is fabulous. The service is fabulous. The place is clean. The outward appearance of the restaurant is extremely appealing. Plenty of safe parking. Easy access. Handicapped friendly. Central to Fort Erie.

I have been visiting here off and on for over 30 years. Consistently decent food here and reasonable prices. Run by local couple who are very nice. My only issue with the place is the outside washroom that reminds me of old time gas station style. Surely having been here so many years they could have improved this if they cared about customer comfort.

Good fast food, generous portions. Definitely worth a drive and and another visit! So far we have tried the Fried Chicken (Excellent), Seafood Platter (Excellent) and the Bacon Cheese Burger (Very Good), absolutely no regrets!

I am so disappointed to write this review but have no choice. While I have loved MJ’s breakfasts, fried chicken and foods, i am beyond disappointed with the “submarines” my family were served. I get being more experienced with fried foods but this was completely unacceptable… we had ordered extra meat and cheese on subs and not only was that not provided but even less. One slice of cheese and one slice of meat when we paid for extra? Why were we even charged we might as well not ordered extra we were literally and seriously ripped off…. Not okay…. Most places i have gone such as subculture, subway, the barrel, central, will give at least 5 slices of meat and one to two of cheese. Maybe im a complainer but i can not believe i paid for extra to get one slice of each? Why did i even pay at all? Are you kidding? Never again….
