Decor was nice, garlic bread was nice, about 1/3rd of the food was pretty good. 1/3rd was alright and a 3rd was in my opinion not edible. My major issue was with the awful quality of the water/fountain drink. Very hard metallic taste in the water which also was very noticeable in the Ginger ale. Service speed was a bit slow (40min) our waitress was nice but took offence when I mentioned I didn't enjoy the meal. Sorry. Not sorry.

The time we visited we were the only customers as it was early in the day. As you can imagine the service was fast and friendly and the food was very good. There is a small bar associated with the restaurant that serves wine and hard spirits.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in the city but no more. The quality of the food has declined significantly in the last year. My last 3 visits were all disappointing. Steak overcooked, calamari overcooked, lamb chops undercooked, ceasar salad only lettuce stumps, etc. Last visit all 4 meals were substandard. We won't be back. I will point out that the wait staff were fantastic and the surroundings comfortable. Desserts are the best in the city.

The Moussaka was perfect but pricey. The service, the entertainment and the atmospher were spot on. I was seated at the worst table even though there were quite a few otheres that were not occupied. I would only go very occationally due to the price.

The food was good, I just had brunch, which was a Mediterranean omelette. The service is what brought this down to a three. Although friendly, the place was empty except one other table. We were acknowledged then waited a while to be seated. The people that came in after us waited about 7 mins without acknowledgment and then left.

Went here at 2:50PM, Friday, September 4. Waited in the entrance for 15 minutes and no sign of any workers in the building. I tried yelling out loud so the workers in the kitchen could hear me, but nobody came to greet us. We had no choice but to leave.

This is a great restaurant. It is our go to place for a good meal in a comfortable atmosphere. The staff are amazingly good. Always friendly and willing to ask for menu changes/additions. On weekend evenings there is a local musician playing which I/we appreciate greatly. Highly recommend Mama Soulas!!!

Will not be going back for New Years. Our waitress was so rude. My friend asked for another glass of water and she snapped back where did the first one go? We know it was busy however all the other wait staff were checking in with their tables ours went 35 minutes before she even came back to acknowledge us. At the end is the night she had the audacity to come back to one of our guests and complain about the tip he gave her. I will go back for the food but will request a better server.

Very accommodating! Our waiter went to the kitchen several times to make requests. He noticed himself that the beer looked flat because it was the first pour and replaced it. He also gave me a non-item menu, some yogurt for my baby. He was cheerful and it was a very pleasant dining experience!

I’ve tried this place twice and each time was very disappointed. The spanakopita I got the first time was burnt, and wildly over priced for what I got. You can buy an entire box of spanakopita from Costco for the same price and it’s essentially the exact same product. The second time I ordered risotto balls, chicken and pork souvlaki, and garlic sticks. Everything was very “meh”. Not terrible, but the portions were so small considering the price (two small skewers of meat, some rice, a small side salad and pita was $25). The lemon potatoes weren’t cooked enough and were under seasoned. The garlic fingers tasted like they were probably frozen then baked. The risotto balls however were pretty good, and the Greek salad was fresh. I ordered online, showed up 30 minutes later as instructed, and proceeded to wait another 50 minutes, along with several other people. Communication as to when our food would be ready was pretty much non existent and it was clear how disorganized the kitchen was. Places like this really annoy me. They charge a lot and provide mediocre service and food, yet they don’t change because there are so few options for Greek food in the city. If you’re looking for good food, you’re better off going to any old chain restaurant. Heck, I’ve honestly had much better Greek food in mall food courts.

disappointed and disgusted - Ate here with 3 friends last week- ordered a salad but didn't receive it as it had been given to my friend by mistake- she had partially eaten it as she had also ordered a side salad as well-the waitress then took it from her and tried to pass me a partially eaten salad -I refused it and she told me I would have to pay for it anyway- Totally shocked us all- Unbelievable, I have contacted the restaurant to complain but no response from them???

Absolute gem of a restaurant in the East End. Most authentic Mediterranean food I've tasted in the province, great service and awesome with kids. My only criticism is that the tzatziki should be served in a ceramic bowl not a plastic container, food was so good though that it didn't really matter .

I haven't been to Mama Soula's in several years, and I had forgotten how much I enjoyed their food. Companion had lamb shanks which were excellent, but outshined by a superb spinach salad and dressing on the side. I had a classic pork souvlaki, also excellent. A little heavy on the salt, with most things, but Its a very small issue. A really good meal, good portions, pleasant quiet atmosphere and great service. Many thanks....I will be back again soon. I forgot how much I have enjoyed Mama Soulas in the past, but tonight's meal was a great reminder. Many thanks to all the staff!

Been going here for years. The food has improved. Service has generally been better. But got a piece of metal in my food tonight. All they gave was a free beer. Update: Returned tonight. 2 years after original review above. They are not observing physical distancing as of July 4th 2020. And no masks or protection by staff. Ug.

Went for lunch. Not welcoming, place was empty but for one other table and we waited to be seated so long we almost left. They even asked if we had a reservation. We ordered the flaming cheese that was awful. For entre we ordered the souvlaki, it was dry and tasteless. I had better frozen souvlaki than that. I would not be surprised if it was old and kept in the freezer. The waitress was very good but the food and greeter were very bad !!
