Via Delivery: - Chicken was way undercooked and had a bad taste to it. - The Kafta plate had only 1 piece for some reason (all other places at lease give you 2 in a plate order). - Potatoes were hard. Very very disappointed!

It was a tasty and nice place to eat indoors with spicy but delicious food. The owner is personally in charge of everything and he makes a great effort to keep it all great. Also very interesting pictures of famous people on the walls. Prices are good and dishes were very well served.

The best in town and I swear by it. If you're looking for something to really hit the spot, this place will do it for you. You got the quality in the ingredients itself, the presentation is stunning, the garlic and hot sauces are to die for, the chicken is juicy and the beef is out of this world. To top it off the portion sizes are overwhelmingly large for the price you pay. My go to is the Mexican Bowl and it never disappoints.

Excellent Mediterranean restaurant. It is more of a take-out than a dine-in restaurant. Restaurant has about 20 seats, but most of the customers who come-in are for takeout. Whether you eat-in or take-out, food is awesome.

My friend had highly recommended Sidra and so when I was heading towards the neighborhood I ordered two double chicken on the rocks one spicy and one not spicy. I was in a hurry and even though they were short staffed, they got my order ready less than 10 minutes for me to pick up. It was delicious. The flavors were wonderfully unique for the rice and the toppings that they put on. My family devoured them.

Amazing takeout and catering!!! My family orders this at least once a month and it's genuinely my favourite place for middle eastern food. Their french fries are also soooo good. The staff is friendly and super nice and they sell candy inside their restaurant if you're looking for a treat after your meal. Overall if I could give 10 stars I would! Definitely coming back!

First time here and the food was amazing. Had the mixed gus and chicken in the box. The portion was huge and couldn't finish(Trust me I can eat). Chicken was tender and flavorful, the beef melted in your mouth. The garlic sauce wasn't over powering like most shawerma places. Defiantly come back again.

If you are driving past Oakville and get hungry, exit on Fourth Line and turn South and you will not be disappointed with Sidra. You can call ahead to save time as the food is made fresh. This is Lebanese fare that is interestingly and tastily seasoned. The garlic sauce in the potatoes is great. Overall an 8 .5 out of ten. Once you take in the very reasonable price, may rate even higher. Owner run, and he cares and frets so you know he wants to please....how many places can you say that about these days??

We love Sidra. We took a takeout for a party of 12. It was an amazing experience. The food was amazing, very flavourful. The portions are generous. Gus, the owner, was very helpful. Excellent food and fantastic service!! The food was really authentic and portions are large and good value for the price. We ordered the vegetarian platter, 'gus in the box', chicken shawarma and lamb shawarma. The lamb shawarma was SO good!! Highly recommend that you visit!! We will certainly be coming back!! * Dine-in available at present, but call ahead to check as there are limitations on how many people can be seated indoors at one time. There are tables on the patio as well.

I've been eating shawarmas for well over a decade now and been to many different restaurants, and I don't plan on going anywhere else other than Sidra from now on. I get the chicken shawarma fajita wrap and it is honestly the best thing I have ever eaten, throw in one of their baklavas too and I'm always more than satisfied. Not only is the food amazing, great service too, I highly recommend Sidra to anyone who enjoys food.

Grossly overpriced. Nearly $13 for just an average shawarma at best. Limited chicken and toppings for that price. Owner oversold the size and taste. Unfortunately it was much better under previous owner. Lazeez and Pita Nutso offer better quality and value.

The first time I went to Sidra I was unsure of what to expect. I decided to try the "Gus in the box" which was a little on the wild side for me as I'm a chicken & rice kinda guy. After purchasing my order and chatting a little bit with the owner, I collected my food and left. I was about to leave the parking lot when the owner appeared at my window side. He had charged me $2 extra as per it's original price vs the special of the day and ran up to my window to apologize and give me my correct change I knew I would be back. Upon opening of the box itself you're greeted by a healthy portion of chicken, rice, fries (are they spicy?), pickle red onion, white onion garlic sauce and Feta. The dish itself has lots of character and gets a 5 star from me. Another happy customer :).

The owner was constantly shouting at the cooks, 2 ladies, barking order, in a very disrespectful tone. He needs to work on his patience and management skills.

Great food and customer service. I had a party catered and the owner was amazing to work with. He made me feel very comfortable with my menu choice and assured me it will be fresh, great tasting and there will be plenty of food for the guests. Rest assure he was right. All my guests were very pleased with the food. The chicken breast souvlaki was moist and very flavorful. (In some restaurants the chicken can be dry)we also ordered other meats and they were all great. You must try the owners special sauce for the crispy fries. It's sweet but with a little kick of spice. We will definately be returning customers.

Recently check out this place - the shawarma was very good but I’m still in love with Lezzet’s in Mississauga. The owner though, his customer service is exceptional and very welcoming. My only complaint was that their tables were very dirty; it’s imperative that tables are thoroughly cleaned when patrons are dining indoors.

When it comes to shawarma I am usually a pretty picky person. I have tried a lot of places in Oakville since the closing of one of my favourites down on Kerr Street Agabi. I have been in search of a new place since then that I can rely on to provide me with similar or better quality and quantity. I can truthfully say that Sidra has impressed me thoroughly from the moment I walked in I was greeted by the friendly owner who helped me decide on what I should have for my first experience. In the picture below I had ordered the Gus in the Box which is their take on a mixture of fries and rice mixed with chicken shawarma. As you can see the quantity is substantial and quite filling. As for the quality it was out of this world with flavour. The blend of chicken with biryani rice, crisp fries and topped with feta cheese, a sublime garlic sauce and a perfectly balanced hot sauce finally garnished with a Sidra special veggie mix packed a mouth watering punch that will leave you wanting more with each and every bite. I look forward to expanding on trying more from their menu and would highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates a true shawarma experience.

I had an amazing experience here! I don't typically leave reviews, however it was my first time eating here and I was so pleasantly surprised by the incredible food and excellent customer service. The man who served me (I believe it was the owner) was very kind and happily created my shawarma just to my liking (lots of garlic sauce :)!). Great food was little expensive for the Gus in the box when it was $14 but the quantity and taste was worth it. Went the other day the raised the price to $18 & $22 if you want mixed beef and chicken use to be $18. The kicker new container is smaller. Raised the price made it smaller time for a new sharmaa place. There are plenty of them.

I saw Biryani and suddenly CRAVED it! I went in and asked for the Biryani bowl and was surprised to have to options, with out chicken and with (shawarma) chicken...in was hoping for traditional but ordered it out of curiosity and hunger... Lol It's honestly very good... But I didn't realize they would put pickled veggies on top (not a fan) but still very good. Great little restaurant.

I've eaten the food from this restaurant multiple times and each visit has been extremely pleasant. The owner is very friendly and will happily explain the various menu choices as well as any new items on the menu with detail and there are daily specials which are nice. The food itself is always prepared very well and is consistently tasty and fresh whether it is the beef or chicken shawarma or platter. Furthermore, the fries are always cook to crispy fluffy perfection. I would easily recommend this place for Lebanese food and/or shawarma over others in the area because again, the food is consistently tasty and the ingredients are fresh and the sauces do not taste like mass produced factory made sauces!

We recently visited Sidras Restaurant Gus explained many options. I decided to order the hummus, falafel Wrap. and Gus in a box to take home for family dinner. I asked Gus if the falafel was good as I am pretty picky. He said Just check our reviews. I was not disappointed. All of the food was amazing. My 14 year old son brought our family here, as he has been eating here with his buddies. He LOVES it, and he's a picky teen. So we all went, and before I knew it we were all silent, eating and enjoying the amazing flavours of our dishes. Our youngest, whom is very picky, emptied his Shawarma/Basmati Rice plate before all of us. The GUS plate... rice, fries, shawarma, garlic sauce, and veggies was so good. We plan to come back regularly and bring my parents to try it. Go...now... and try it....so good.

The day we arrived at the restaurant, one of the workers quit without notice and the owner had to take it upon himself to cook the food, attend the front desk, and pick up all the calls. The food was rushed and the rice was still raw because when you bit into it, it was like biting a pebble. I am sure the restaurant isn't always like this, but my experience wasn't the greatest under the circumstances. I purchased the Chicken Shawarma Platter and the taste of the food was pretty good.

One of the best shawarma’s you’re gonna have in the GTA. It’s run by a very cute iraqi couple and they really know their stuff about Iraqi and Lebanese cuisines. Definitely a must-have if you like Mediterranean or Middle-Eastern cuisine!

The food wasn't spiced up.It tasted like a grass. Garlic sauce isn't a home made natural and they put it over the food only few drops. Thahini sauce over potatoes was warmed up. No dressing for the salad. You don't really see the cooks work. You see and feel only plates loader. Nothing special for the price of $25.

Just enjoyed Gus In a Box.... unbelievably delicious !!!!! I visit Sidras at least once per week and sometimes more often . This restaurant changed hands just before Covid and in my opinion deserves the community's patronage and support especially with the challenges restaurant owners face at this time. After one visit you will appreciate the great pride and hard work of the staff . Gason provides a meticulously sanitized and mask wearing facility so that all patrons feel comfortable. The food is superb and prepared with care and love by the ladies in the kitchen. The garlic and hot sauces are delightful and add such great flavor to all of their dishes. The basmati rice is heavenly..... slightly seasoned and perfectly cooked. I feel the owner is sincerely interested in making sure that all visitors to his place are well satisfied. The prices are quite reasonable especially given that one can get two meals out of most of the dishes (for example Gus in a Box)...... thank you Sidras!

Firstly- for those of you wondering how good the food is, this is a place you must try. Everything from the shawarma and biryani, to the bread and sauces were fresh and authentic. The portions were incredibly generous and honestly great the next day too. But what really sets this restaurant apart is the extreme kindness of the owner. Throughout every interaction he went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, and ensure everything was perfect. All in all, I am a new loyal customer and highly recommend visiting for yourself. This food is amazing. It is best had when sitting there. Incredibly courteous and friendly owner, very nice person, no wonder his restaurant has all these amazing ratings. Also, I have tried many kebab, but the best one is here, there is some sort of secret in the meat. They have amazing hummus, rice, fries and what not. I love this place's bread that they give at the beginning. So, I am giving this place five stars. Best Middle Eastern food. I highly recommend this place if you are trying Middle Eastern for the first time and even if you have had it before. If you are someone who does not like Middle Eastern food, this place will completely change your mind.

Best Middle Eastern food, in a classy venue, with excellent service and attention to detail, generous portion sizes and beautiful presentation. Have had many of their dishes and loved them all: baba gannoush, hummus, falafel, as well as their chicken shawarma and lamb and beef tikka. Catered from here for my family and all were impressed. The lamb shank was fall off the bone tender and perfectly spiced, the rice seasoned and cooked to perfection and the salad fresh and crisp, they use top quality ingredients and it shows… My all time fave is the Gus in the box (two meals for me) and recently the Gus of the Sea with delicious crisp calamari! Even their fries are seasoned to perfection. The owner and his assistant are very dedicated and friendly. Would definitely recommend for catering for special occasions and as quick takeout, or you can sit among the flowers on their breezy shaded (now open) patio. Try it and you will keep coming back!!

The restaurant interiors has very much dated but service is still polite and accomodating. I ordered a mixed shawarma and when paid the bill thought there was a mistake. There was no mistake. An average tasting shawarma wrap costs you 17$ with another 2$ for a bit of feta cheese on top. Don't recommend the place.

I am very sceptical of Shawarma places, there are so many and they are usually mediocre, a waste of money. I came in here with my parents while waiting for something at the bank across the street. We were very happy all around. 1) The Owner was thoroughly cleaning and carefully disinfecting every table. 2) The Owner took our order and WROTE DOWN every single thing we said (I hate it when they go by pure memory and make mistakes!) 3) The meals were all served exactly as we asked 4) I was not expecting them to have our food ready so quickly, not only was it fast it was cooked to perfection 5) Delicious beef quality, perfect fries, delicious salad! and finally the most impressive of all 6) This place has customers coming in non-stop, there is a reason for it! It is amazing. We will be coming back for sure and will be recommending this place!

I guess the owner changed recently but it's still my favourite shawarma place in Oakville. Portion size (for the dinner platter) is big enough for two meals. I like getting it the old way, haven't tried the new way but it seems pretty good too. Love the fries and the flavour of the sauce they put on it. Tried the daily special and it's good value (maybe too much hummus relative to salad / chicken. At the end all that was left was hummus. But it was yummy!). Lots of pita bread too! There is now a lot more seating inside, the counter has become much smaller. The owner and staff are kind. Parking is decent. Getting into the parking lot can be a pain during busy hours if you're coming from 4th line so try and come down speers the other way (dorval side)...

Tried the mix salad.. Feel that it's overpriced and the portion was definitely not right, for both salad and the proteins. Also the dressing options were really limited. Taste wise, would expect more flavour and the meat was not thinly sliced.. Recommend - Maybe! There are better options though.

I have been craving a chicken shawarma wrap for the last few days. Today at 10am, I called sidras to see if I could place an order. Despite them not opening until 11am, the owner said he could fulfill my order. On my way to pick it up, my coworker asked me to get one for him too. Upon arriving at sidras before their opening time, the owner also made another wrap. To me, this was excellent customer service on top of a fantastic meal. I am truly pleased with my experience every time I eat here.
