Really delicious and fresh waffels - both the liége and belgian waffels. Reasonably priced and very friendly staff. We thought we only ordered two waffels but in fact ordered three, which was way too much. The lady who worked that day was very understanding and gave us the third waffel on the house (we got a refund back for it). Great customer service and very cute cafe in Market Square. 100% recommend if you’re around the area and craving for dessert!

The best waffle shop in Victoria, almost every one knows about them. The shop is in a very nice location at market square where you can check out other stuff around too. One star off because the staff wasn’t so friendly when we visited recently but overall, they got delicious treat, even the plain one with no chocolate sauce or whipping cream, quick and nice service most of the time. I will always go back here for waffles

Thoroughly disappointing liege waffle. Expected a crispy waffle with soft inside with subtle sweetness. Received a waffle that was perhaps reheated as there was no crispness to be had. Waffle was also syrupy sweet which was not pleasant. Seems like plenty of treat options in this area so I would keep looking. Would not recommend.

It is a must try place, you can smell the delicious waffles from meters away and the smell doesn’t lie ???? it is the best waffle that I’ve ever had. The employees are very welcoming and respectful. If you are looking for a delicious breakfast or a midday snack go try wannawafel. I bet you’ll go back again.

Very adorable little restaurant, almost to well hidden. (Walked by it quite a lot without even noticing) The portions are decent but not large, but the flavour more than makes up for this.(there freaking amazing) Overall I would recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth or waffle lovers in general.

Waffles were awesome, made from scratch. We ordered chocolate and one berry waffle. They were not too sweet. Just perfect. Whipped cream was also very fresh and not sweet. Loved it...

Waffles were great, that would have gotten a 5 star rating, but the service was horrible. Guy who runs the place has 0 customer service. Considering we spent $70 on waffles I would have expected decent service but this guy went above and beyond to make the experience a bad one. Won’t be returning and I do not recommend based on the service.

Awesome waffles, staff an owner are amazing and really nice. If you want fluffy Belgium waffles try the Brusselswaffle if u want sweet caramelized waffles try the liègewaffle.

Kinda hated the waffle I had. Was burnt and not moist at all. Kinda cringed as I watched the guy make it... He kept failing to take it off the waffle press so it ended up tasting way too dry Edit: Went again more recently to give it another shot and the nice lady named breila hooked me up with the craziest waffle ever... made so perfectly! wanna waffle went from 1 star to 4 :)

Not exactly authentic! But definitely an healthier version of the typical Belgian waffles... it's good but the taste is quite different from the authentic Belgian waffles. The atmosphere was also not welcoming, so ????... I am not going to go out of my way to eat it, but wouldn't mind if I am walking past the place.

An excellent product at an excellent value; Their tasty, top quality waffles could easily go for twice the price! The staff always provide the best in customer service, and make you feel at home. Delightful waffles that make that corner of market square smell downright heavenly. I got the mixed berry compote and it was great, my friend got fresh strawberry and whipped cream on his. It took a little while longer than expected but the service and products are good! Treat yourself!

Honestly not much to complain about here. If I have to say anything, it's the dude on service at the time seemed a little tired and uninspired. There's a small menu and you can choose from Liege or Brussels style. The Brussels one is whipped up on the spot. Light, crispy and according to another member of my party who has actually been to Brussels and eaten there, so far the only waffle place in the country that does it just like they do in Brussels. Definite try here, recommended.

Came here years ago when I was visiting Victoria. The waffles were really good so I thought I would give it another go. It's still incredible and the guy working here was very nice and quite helpful with directions. Would absolutely recommend!!!

Wanted a waffle real bad... called ahead and asked to order the light waffle for pickup but they didn’t have a menu on website so they asked me to come in store to view... went in 3 minutes later and they refused to serve saying they were closed 7 minutes before closing... after a heads up...?? Terrible service, unwilling to help and a complete waste of time. #wantedtowafel
